Great hotel close to rail station and ferries. Good size rooms. Comfy beds and clean ensuite. Molly's bistro very good and fab breakfast . excellent value for city stay

Bed very hard

We liked the charm of the building.

Excellent location (a few minutes walk to the bus station, railway station and Union street where comfortable and relatively cheap EMBER busses stop for airport connection, for instance).

Noisy (especially sea gulls all over the night, and also other rooms are very weakly sound proofed). The hotel is old and it desperately needs renovation; the shower must be replaced immedeately; very hard to operate.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Lobby was beautiful. Location was also good. Food was pretty good.

No fridge in room, no ice machine, no face cloths, rooms could use a paint job, bed could use a mattress topper, bed duvet didn’t fit the case.

Our twin room was great but the en-suite hot water was temperamental.

Fitted us in last moment of a difficult evening of airline chaos. Very helpful staff everywhere. Good buffet breakfast.

The pillows!

The location is perfect. Staff couldn’t have done enough for us and our whole party of guests. Nothing was too much hassle. Every request was met.

No air conditioning in room and windows do not open to allow air. Some of the fixtures and fittings could have been replaced but staff listened and noted my observations.

Hotel położony blisko dworca, samo centrum. Obok fajne puby i restauracje i całodobowy sklep. Otrzymaliśmy inny pokój, większy i fajniejszy ze względu na overbooking. Czysto i bardzo wygodne łóżko. Super personel:)

アパートメント形式の部屋でした。キッチン（冷蔵庫、電子レンジなど…）、バスタブもあり、必要なものがすべてそろっていてとても快適に過ごせました。朝食もとてもおいしかったです。スタッフの方は親切でとても助かりました。もしまたアバディーンに行くことがあれば利用したいです。

部屋の床に注射器が落ちていました。フロントに伝えたらすぐ対応してもらえましたが、怖かったです。お風呂の掃除も雑でした。すぐ前がパブなので、週末は結構騒がしいと思います。

TV channels I loved, there were a lot. Room is good sized. Bed very comfy, good pillows. Basically sea view from my room. Very close to city center and the bus station, absolutely loved that.

There were no fridge in the room. Due to that I had to throw away several food items that do not preserve in the room temperature. Also no make up mirror or even better lighting in the bathroom. Overall I should have looked more in the room description before booking. I would never booked this room if I noticed that there is no fridge. The room access card wiped itself clean 2 times, and I had to go down again to get it fixed - very tedious. Couple of uninvited visitors also seen in my room - one small spider (cute :)) and a dead moth. Also no air conditioning in the room, during my stay didnt need it though.

Food and staff excellent

Being upgraded to an apartment bed done and to small bedroom tiny tvs not working no signal. Shower either too hot or cold temperamental no fresh air to properly

The hotel is really well located to explore the city, and very close to transport hubs. We had a room with a view of the harbour which we enjoyed, and it was comfortable and well serviced. Aberdeen is a fantastic city for a short break. Lots to do in the city - free museums - the art gallery, provost skenes house, the maritime museum, and easy to walk round and navigate. We enjoyed a trip to theatre as well. We also used it as a base for two day trips with Rabbies to the Highlands around Balmoral, and the North East Coast line.

Though the food was good and plentiful at Molly's Bistro, the hotels restaurant the service we received was slow and unfriendly.

The Key cards stopped working The room is so dated and old, smelt of smoke, shower was a very old eletric one that was never at the right temp, bed was very very hard. The sofa was so woren the veclro holding the back and the seat together was visble. all in all a very poor hotel

The duvet on the bed was too small for the bed as it was for a couple (double bed ) breakfast was quite good but the dining room was a bit disorganised and messy staff were nice

Die Lage war swhr gut. Man war in wenigen Gehminuten am Bahnhof (Zug und Bus) siwie an zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Cafés, Restaurants und eine Shoppingmall lagen auch in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir hatten ein geräumiges Zimmer und ein großes Bad.

Leider gab es im Bad wenig Ablagefläche und keine Haken für das Aufhängen für Handtücher. Wir hatten ein Zimmer für 3 Personen. Die Ablage für die Handtücher bot letztendlich Platz für 2 Personen.

I had a lovely double room with plenty of space and comfortable bed. En-suite bathroom had a good shower and generous bath - good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Great location in the city centre just off Union Street.

As it was a Friday night it was quite noisy - there’s a karaoke bar just up the street and lots of pubs nearby. But that’s to be expected in the city centre.

Nie dostaliśmy pokoju który zabookowaliśmy , nie był to superior tylko zwykły pokój z dwoma osobnymi łóżkami i dość niewygodnymi. Okno było bardzo słabo izolowane od dźwięku i całą noc słyszeliśmy statek przycumowany w porcie. Drzwi i ściany też dość słabo tłumiły od dźwięku więc słyszeliśmy gości hotelowych o każdej porze nocnej i jak brali kąpiel w wannie. Generalnie następnego dnia czuliśmy się super niewypoczęci a mieliśmy jeszcze długą drogę przed nami .

Our room was fine for one night but needed a little TLC, shower glass didn’t stay so the bathroom floor got wet, room was extremely hot (staff did supply us with fan when we asked) Room walls had cracks and some holes When we went for breakfast we waited around 20 minutes for someone to ask them for tea to be given hot water and no tea bags. And no tea bags on the buffet.

The Douglas hotel was centrally located, clean, and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were spacious with one double bed and two singles. The bathroom had a shower and separate bathtub. It was excellent value. The food and service at their restaurant Molly's was also excellent .

Room was smaller than expected and the bathroom was very small. Breakfast was ok but not great quality.

Ottima la posizione. La struttura è un po' datata ma ben tenuta. Il parcheggio NCP è molto vicino ed era possibile applicare uno sconto con il codice fornito dall'hotel. La camera era pulita. Buono il bistrot annesso all'hotel. Colazione continentale varia.

Davanti all hotel c'è un locale con karaoke fino oltre mezzanotte, ma credo che le serate siano solo il venerdì e il sabato. Nel complesso comunque non un grave disagio.

A simpatia do funcionário que fez o check in e que nos aconselhou a visitar o Dunnotar Castle.

Ficamos neste hotel na noite de 30 para 31 , a verdade é que durante a noite choveu e acordamos com o gotejar da chuva na cama e no chão. Na verdade, choveu dentro do quarto e tivemos de afastar a cama individual que estava junto à janela para parar de apanhar chuva, quarto 118! Mas…continuou a chover e continuamos a noite toda com o ping ping ping da chuva a cair no chão do quarto e no parapeito interno da janela. De manhã, ao reportar a situação na receção, a mesma foi desvalorizado e apenas. Os foi dito que devíamos ter-lhes ligado. Assim, por mais perto que o hotel seja da estação de comboios/ autocarros, esta situação não o compensa. Pagamos uma noite na qual não dormimos nada por ser um ping ping ping infernal no quarto.

The hotel very close to everything important for visitors: a short walk to the railway and bus stations and even closer to the Union street where also many longer distance lines stop (Ember electric busses, for instance). EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD WiFi at any time.

Orientation in this hotel corridors needs several days practicing: everything seems clear in the first evening but multiple fire doors automatically close during the night and you feel trapped in the morning: everything looks different, no idea if the door in front of you is an emergency exit that must not be normally touched or you can open it and go on... The restaurant is good with very friendly service but breakfast is boring; practically nothing else than warm English breakfast (that I, personally, do not like early in the morning). There are no fresh pastries at all, croissants are several days old, "ever lasting" factory muffins; no fresh salads; a few slices of ham and cheese available in the fridge but placed so high that smaller people can't even see or reach them. Too much staff in the breakfast room... just standing there The hotel is old and worn out, the room definitely needs renovation; especially the shower in the bathroom, which is practically impossible to use (requires a very strong hand and first of all, knowledge of HOW it is supposed to work). One more thing that, of course, does not depend on the hotel staff is the disturbing incessant cries of numerous seagulls that live in the neighborhood, which can be heard all night long, even through closed windows.

On arrival, I was abruptly told (not asked) that I was being "upgraded" which involved a 2 minute walk down an outside alleyway and into a dingy building, up and down several stairs and long corridors to a basement room with no natural light. On refusal, they suddenly found a room type which I had booked 6 months earlier. No apology and couldn't-care-less staff. Stay here at your peril as they grossly disrespect their guests.

Lovely Central location, with all amenities very close by. Parking in NCP at discounted rates. Staff all really helpful, and breakfast buffet tasty and regularly replenished, so all fresh. Room overlooking the street, but we weren't disturbed by any noise. The pelican crossing seemed to start about 7.30. We enjoy staying in older hotels and this one is great.

No fault of the hotel, but as first timers, traffic and driving in the city centre is nigh on impossible at the minute. Every road seems to be blocked by work of some kind.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig, kein Gedränge. Die Ausstattung ist etwas älter aber war mehr als in Ordnung.

Die Stadt selbst hat uns überhaupt nicht gefallen, nur Grau in all seinen verschiedenen Nuancen. Bei uns schien auch die Sonne, leider glänzte die Stadt für uns nicht.

Hvor er ventilasjonen? Selv de billigste hotellrom har aircondition. Rommet var kokvarmt og det hjalp ikke mye å åpne vinduene. Med vinduene åpne om natta er det ikke lett å sove på grunn av alle lydene utenfor. Man kan heller ikke trekke gardinene for skikkelig med åpne vinduer. Det vil redusere luftingen. Uten gardinene for er det fritt innsyn. Hvorfor er det ikke et lite kjøleskap? En flaske vann på rommet tilbyr de fleste daglig, men ikke her.

La habitación necesitaba una reforma y no se correspondía con las fotos de Booking.com donde parecían renovado. La habitación daba a una calle muy ruidosa, con varios pubs, y había mucho ruido en la habitación hasta que cerraban.

Hervorragende Lage, einen Parkplatz konnten wir auch ergattern. Super Angebot mit Tee, Kaffee etc auf dem Zimmer.

Fenster in der vierten Etage nur gekippt zu öffnen und blind sowie dreckig. Allerdings waren wir in einem Winkel und die Aussicht war vermutlich eh auf den Hinterhof.

The hotel was in a good location, close to the train station, lots of bars and restaurants around. the hotel's restraurant had very tasty food

The room I stayed in had a tilted floor, the tiles in the bathroom were broken and the floor kept vibrating when people in the other rooms were walking. The bed was uncomfortable and tilted, most probably because of the floor. I wouldn't stay there again

Location was great.

The room was extremely hot and noisy. Besides noise from the people partying on the street below the girls in the room next to me had their music blasting till 7am and talking loudly.

Big room, Greta staff and location, Irish bar in hotel was fantastic with live music. Breakfast was great too.
