Breakfast - sausages were not cooked properly, in fact they looked like they came straight out of the packaging.

All but one member of staff was professional, friendly and helpful during my stay. My room was immaculate and comfy and all of the food I was served was delicious, hot and value for money.

One member of staff had clearly not supported a customer with a disability before and I felt I was a 'burden' and difficult during our interaction.

The location and neatness of the facility

The poor treatment i got and the uninformed inflation of my room rate from £48 to £90. Then £101 for 3rd and 4th nights without prior notice. And that made me leave. Non of these attracted complementary breakfast. The wifi password given to me in room 303 never worked. Accessing my room.was a bit difficult as the lift on my wing was not working and I was told it won't work for the period I am there.

Отличное расположение, рядом вокзал, большой торговый центр и собственно, центр города. Персонал приятный, очень внимательный, ни один вопрос не остался без ответа. Номер небольшой, но достаточно уютный, правда, для одежды мало места, в шкафу нет полок. В остальном, всё хорошо, чисто и комфортно. Завтраки неплохие, сытные, стандартный английский завтрак с омлетом/яичницей, с беконом и сосисками, с фасолью и грибами. А вот овощей практически никаких, только кусочки помидоров. Мы заказывали и ужин, он по меню и разнообразный, каждый день можно было выбрать что-то новенькое.))) Всё вкусно! Что ещё понравилось? Можно было оставить вещи в отеле после чек-аута. Трансфер в аэропорт был заказан на 15.00, мы спокойно без вещей гуляли по городу до нужного часа.

Единственное неудобство, не было розеток около кроватей.

The room was nice and clean, the staff were friendly. The hotel is central for the train station middle of town.

The room was on the 5th floor which would normally not be a problem but the lift was not working from the 3rd floor.

A proximidade à estação central é uma mais valia. O hotel tem um aspeto clássico que traz um revivalismo interessante. Os quartos apesar de pequenos, são confortáveis.

A avaria do elevador implicou uma deslocação demasiado prolongada ao longo do hotel até chegarmos ao nosso quarto, sem que o hotel prestasse qualquer tipo de ajuda no transporte das malas.

One lift was broken so had to drag suitcase to another lift then had to drag through a maze of corridors once on the 3 rd floor to reach our room on the plus side there was arrows to direct you the right way

Reception booking in very easy and very professional young man.. Room was very clean ..Breakfast was exceptionally busy but we were advised of busy time when booking in so avoided peak service..Staff were very busy but acknowledged you when they had time.. They work extremely hard to serve to a high standard..Food quality was excellent Unfortunately only staying for 1 evening

Lack of sound proofing, room above very noisy at 2am with loud talking and creaky floors, no table or surface near plug sockets to rest kettle on, had to sit it on a chair which felt unsafe. No plug sockets near beds.

The location is fantastic. The reception team member, I think his name was Sergei was outstanding.

It was a two night stay and the room given to me on my first night was pretty poor. I asked to have my room changed for the second night and was given a fabulous room which was really appreciated.

Location. Across the road from the Station (the clue is in the name!)

2 of 3 lifts were out of order. Our room was on the 4th floor but the lift only went to the 3rd. Then a maze of corridors to find our room. A fire door was wedged open. The room was stuffy; the window didn't open. The decor was very tired. Lamp shades were badly stained. Nowhere to hang towels. Not a single hook in the bathroom.

The location, it was central and walking distance to train and bus station and shopping malls. Liked the old fashioned atmosphere. The breakfast was very good.

Overall the building and rooms are looking a little tired in areas, they are clean and work fine but just could do with a refresh at some point.

Lift out of order again used other one got to know way round the floor my mum (82) and myself coming back from tivoli nearly fell up steps going in and out could you please look into getting handrails to hold onto so it can be safer for all that stay at the hotel

Damp showing in our room, only an oil filled heater to heat room which had a castor missing so had to find something to balance it on. And this was supposed to be an upgraded room.

Lift out of order. No towel rail in bathroom to hang towels. Mattress not all that comfortable.

It’s very central to everything, me and my partner really enjoyed our stay! The bed was super comfy I had a brilliant night sleep and the food in the hotel was really good!

Staff were very helpful and approachable.

I always strip my bedding on my stays away from home. I was shocked to see my daughters bed had no under protective sheet. So when we took off the sheet, the mattress was discoloured and stained very badly. We did make a comment to front desk. He was very good at his job. It was a shame the lift was also broken on our stay. But again the staff were very apologetic.

La posizione, la vicinanza a parcheggio e stazione.

Pulizia pessima, solo 1 ascensore in tutta la struttura, occorreva fare un giro enorme, cattivo odore, scricchioli del parquet.

Loved our stay at the station Hotel. Room was massive and clean. Staff were friendly and approachable about an issue we had and matter was resolved instantly.

The only thing that didn't meet our expectations was the breakfast. It was £14pp for a buffet style hot breakfast, food wasn't warm and the food was tough. We complained to reception and got a refund.

Breakfast excellent, room nice and quiet as requested. Location perfect for our shopping requirements. Staff professional, very nice and welcoming.

I have stayed lots of times and never had an issue until this stay. My room was cold no heating at all and my shower was like warm. Hoping this was a one off as ive never had any issues before. I never complained as it was just an overnight stay.

Receptionist didnt instruct me clearly on paying for parking so I paid more than I should and didnt get my discount! Room was dated, bathroom was very disappointing cracked floor tiles, cracked wall tiles, missing radiator that had left the pipes and holes in wall. Bathroom was not clean and had hairs from previous guests on the floor and bath! No plugs near the beds and the bed was so hard and uncomfortable it actually bruised my hips so sleep wasnt great at all. Really disappointed with state of the rooms compared to lower levels which is quite clearly where the ones is spent. The hallway to the lifts has a really bad smell too and it was always there

Floor had a heavy slant and you could feel it when sleeping . Also the roof had some questionable liquid/stain on it in bright orange .

The hotel is 15 mins walk from the centre. Nice breakfast and room was pretty comfortable

I reserved a parking and when arrived at the hotel they guided me to the hotel parking lot, after some days I found that I was fined for parking there. Its ridiculous when contacted the management they told me that they could do nothing. So please be aware when you park there.

Хорошее месторасположение, нам нужна была одна ночь недалеко от вокзала, так как рано утром уезжали в Эдинбург. Отель нас приятно удивил, нам повысили категорию номера без доплаты и номер был очень большой. Всё чисто и аккуратно, приятный персонал на рецепшене. Заказывали завтрак и ужин, обслуживание быстрое и всё достаточно вкусно.

Единственное замечание, окна были очень грязные, но так как у нас была одна ночь, то спокойно это пережили, но помыть окна всё-таки желательно.:))

Very central location and walking distance to Union Street. Nice common areas and restaurant (we did not try it). Room clean and decent size, but bit on the older side. Good price breakfast (add on for £10pp).

El alojamiento es una pasada y además huele bien por todos lados(no sé cómo lo hacen!), el personal muy amable también!

La ubicación, el hotel no tiene la culpa, pero por todos lados del hotel y al estar al lado de la estación, hay mucho drogadicto y no da gusto pasear de noche

The clue's in the name. It is very handy for the train station, but also convenient for the Northlink Ferries to Orkney/Shetland. I had to leave early, so didn't have breakfast, but had a good High Tea after I got to the hotel. I would certainly stay there again

Bedroom doors did not close properly. My daughter did not feel safe because she was unsure her door was secure. She jammed a chair in front.
