Coast Lonsdale Quay Hotel

The location was amazing, 2 minutes walk away from the seabus and the bus station, located right in the middle of everything giving us easy access to explore North and South Vancouver

The only drawback could have been the lack of breakfast, but the options around are more than plentiful

Sehr dünne Wände mit absparrbarer Holztür zu anderen Zimmern - man konnte vom Nachbarzimmer jeders Wort verstehen , alte Austattung aber Renovierung geplant.

There was no breakfast available due to renovations. There are excellent places to eat nearby however so it wasn't so bad. The hotel looks in need of a bit of a spruce up hence the renovation work.

Adjacent to lots of restaurants and harbor. Staff was always very friendly. Room size/bathroom size good. Quiet rooms.

Mattresses older and not comfy. Parking expensive and crowded. Microwave tray dirty. There was not a true water view from room, had to go out on tiny balcony and look around the corner. Location was far from Vancouver downtown.

Top Lage mit Aussicht auf Downtown. Mitten gelegen in den Shipyards direkt an der Seabus Haltestelle - viele Restaurants und Cafés in der direkten Umgebung. Sehr nettes Personal. Kaffeebar mit Starbucks Kaffee.

Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen- Betten zeigen Abnutzungserscheinungen, insgesamt aber sauber. Klimaanlage war laut und Badezimmer könnte ein Update bekommen. Da das Hotel zentral liegt kann es an schönen Abenden schon mal etwas lauter werden. Fitnessraum sehr klein und lädt nicht zur Nutzung ein.

I would strongly caution anyone considering staying at this hotel based on my experience. My young daughter and I stayed here during an unexpected business trip, which we combined with an important milestone: I was taking her to purchase her first car. Instead, our stay ended with me suffering numerous bites concentrated along the right side of my torso, consistent with what I believe were bedbug bites. I am a retired firefighter and medic, so I am not making this allegation casually. I also considered carefully whether there was another plausible place I could have been exposed. Prior to this hotel stay, the only other bed I had slept in was at my girlfriend’s home. She is a physician, and there has been no indication of a bedbug problem there. What made an already upsetting experience considerably worse was the response from hotel management. Rather than treating my report seriously and investigating how a guest could have experienced this, management denied responsibility and suggested that I must have contracted the bites somewhere else. That response was unacceptable. A hotel cannot necessarily prevent every pest problem from ever occurring. What it *can* control is how it responds when a guest reports one. I expected concern, a prompt and transparent investigation, and some willingness to take responsibility if a problem was found. Instead, I felt dismissed and blamed. Bedbugs are not a minor inconvenience. Discovering suspicious bites after sleeping in a hotel creates considerable worry about whether you may have carried them into your belongings, vehicle, or home. It was particularly distressing to deal with this while travelling with my daughter. I would not stay here again, and based on both the bites I experienced and management’s handling of my complaint, I cannot recommend this hotel. If management had responded with concern and taken the complaint seriously, my review might have been very different. The denial and dismissal of a legitimate guest concern is what turned a bad stay into an appalling one.

Guest Service /reception was friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit old but spacious and with a beautiful view. Beds are comfortable.

I think the prices from Booking.com were a lot higher compared to the real prices the hotel offers, think it Booking.com was overpriced. The hotel rooms are a bit old specially the bathrooms might need a little extra care . Besides that , it’s a great location and staff is always welcoming .

Das Zimmer war deutlichst in die Jahre gekommen - Preis Leistung fielen somit weit auseinander.

De ligging met uitzicht op de skyline van Vancouver en in een leuk nieuw gebied boven een foodmarket en met veel horeca erom heen. Kamer is ruim, niet gehorig en heeft een goede airco én klein balkon. Met de seabus in 15 min naar downtown.

The staff was great and the location epic.

An old favourite of mine and did not disappoint. Very cosy, the kind reception person upgraded me to a room with a harbour view, which was unexpected and appreciated. Love, love the location. Side note, the Quay has become very gentrified since I was last here, but there are still some local gems to be found. I LOVE taking the SeaBus downtown from here - very convenient, lovely way to commute downtown.

The hotel entrances can be hard to find. The hotel was in the midst of changing owners, so I am not sure how that will impact the future of it.

Meh…..just OK. Location is good right above a cool marketplace with ships, food and coffee shops. Rooms need a freshening, sewer smell from drain in bathroom. Bed and TV/cable internet were fine. A/C sounded like a jet engine. Staff overall nice just one issue with housekeeping and bath towels. I would probably stay elsewhere before going back. Kinda 80’s vibe. Not the best value depending on the rate. Not worth $400/nt.

Parking. I paid for 4 days of parking. By mistake, I got a citation. I double paid for the remaining three nights. I emailed the dispute. No body has got back to me. They owe me $64 USD. I am an American Citizen living in Oregon. I would never go back to Vancouver, BC again!

The location is fantastic, with great access to restaurants and shops in North Vancouver.

Great location. It’s about 5 min walk from the water bus’s, and right on the coast so the ocean view rooms overlook the water and Vancouver on the other side. The hallways to the rooms are larger than normal, but the rooms are also quite large (or we stayed in a bigger room idk). Our room had a jacuzzi. The hotel itself if a little old, but it seems recently renovated so we didn’t have any issues. Everything was really clean and the staff are SO SWEET. Parking is a little weird, but there are a ton of signs for the coast hotel and how to pay for parking. We just drove in and then paid at the machine for the hotel day rates. The rooms were clean, and we had everything we needed. The ‘free breakfast’ was just free coffee and granola bars. But they do have a list of nearby cafes, which are AMAZING. So it’s more worth it to checkout a nearby cafe rather than eat hotel breakfast food.

The only thing I didn’t like was the shower curtain as it was hard to move, but that’s a very minimal issue.

Whilst this hotel is well situated on the north shore, and the rooms are spacious, it is very expensive for what it is. At some CAD$450 per night with no breakfast and parking on top if you have a car CAD$35/night, it is e pensive and not good value. Maybe it is summer and maybe the World Cup has had an effect but as a minimum at this price breakfast should be included and parking should be discounted further. Otherwise staff were pleasant and facilities all worked well, but it is not great value for the room rate frankly.

Provide detergent for guest washing machines for purchase so that the guest does not have to go out to do the shopping for it.

Perfekte Lage direkt am Londsdale Quay. Wir habe es geliebt dort zu sitzen und die Aussicht auf Vancouver zu genießen. Kurzer Weg zum Seabus..Viele gute Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Tolles Personal! Vielen Dank noch mal, dass der Zimmerservice sehr schnell das vergessene Insulin entdeckt hat!! Bequeme Bettenbin einem geräumigen Zimmer.

What an amazing area and so beautiful absolutely loved the beautiful area right by the water water several incredible places to eat and shop. The hotel was above this beautiful market that had pastries, crepes ice cream shopping, fresh flowers and food. The whole area was absolutely beautiful. The staff was so nice and held our baggage for us since we had gotten there early off the cruise ship. We stayed 2 nights so we could explore Vancouver and so glad we did such an incredible experience from the Seabus to the city bus that took us to Granville Island and Stanley Park and we were able to walk from the Seabus to Gas town with its cobbled streets. We had beautiful dinners right by our hotel each evening on the patio at the harbor. The price also was amazing for this hotel I could go on and on. They recommended a wonderful breakfast place also while we was waiting for our room. They even called us to tell us our room was ready early for us. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel and the incredible experience.

Loved everything

Name is Rain. Solo with my two familiars, Manga & Peach, had an immaculate experience with the demure lovely gentleman who speaks French - I forgot his name but it had a nice ring to it. He contacted his manager to help me pay with cash as they didn't take tap, which is all I had at the time. They were able to happily accomodate me, we discussed accents and his family, They were exemplary. It was a great adventure despite it all, and it was super rainy, breezy & cool when I got back to Victoria. I was utmost thankful for them & the third employee who was working. I was thankful for them. Ishita I recall from my previous visit, blushed a lil bit cuz she's cuteee, and she upgraded the suite for free just because she could, we stannnnnn a qveen like that ✨🌊🐚🎻♒♋🦀🌿🌲🌲🌲🌲 solstice maybe ill be back, if not, see you soon regardless. Ta ta, your place is chill just like the west coast. 🌠

Just in need of a little updating. Stayed here many times and not much has changed. They used to have a 5 gallon water dispenser in the room. Now no water at all.

We appreciated the staff for being very helpful, polite and efficient. We loved the location by the water, the bed that wasn’t too firm or too soft, the clean room, the lack of noise and the food options at the stalls downstairs—so convenient.

We were on the 3rd floor, coast side. Couldn’t open our heavy curtains because there is a walk way right outside the window. People walking could just look in. Minor inconvenience however for the value we paid for the room. We were hardly there anyway.

No breakfast facilities. Noisy aircon. Prices were elevated for Fifa26 and this meant that the hotel (even with the amazing location) was not worth half of what we paid. Paying for parking over and above hotel rates.

Great location (great view in our room), great vibe, easy public transport access to local attractions (5 mins to Seabus and local buses), safe feeling, Staff friendly and willing to help. It was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink and food, as well as a stroll around after a day of sightseeing.

Tried the breakfast once but didn't go back. Coffee not nice. Mainstay bar offered 20% discount to hotel guests, but this wasn't promoted by reception staff. Guests would find this attractive (as we did). Similar discounts to local eating/drinking places would be attractive, as the hotel doesn't have its own facility for this

Great location to areas in North Vancouver and downtown. Seabus, Skytrain and buses were all very accessible. The Quay area was a beautiful place to sit anytime of the day or evening. There were lots of places to eat, shop and wander along the waterfront. It looks great! The lobby was beautiful and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The rooms were well equipped, clean and very comfortable.

The bathroom is starting to show its age.

断りはあったものの工事の音がうるさく、またコネクティングルームの１室だったので、隣の部屋の開け閉めが、自分の部屋の音の様に聞こえ、とても怖かった。電子レンジはあったがポットが無く、コーヒーメーカーでお湯を作った。３泊したが初日からWi-Fiが繋がらず、初日はフロントで接続してもらったが、２泊目以降また繋がらず。価格なりの満足は無かった。

Great service. Good room. So-so experience. We were woken up in the middle of the night around 3AM to a deafening alarm type of sound that went on for nearly half an hour. At about 330AM, we hear someone saying “There is a heat sensor that has gone offf but there is no need to evacuate. This is a false alarm.” Thankfully the alarm soon went off shortly after. I understand that this hotel is a part of the mall BUT I still believe that some compensation for the lack of sleep would’ve been appreciated.

Room was dated, missing a table or sofa (there was a big space that needed to be filled and there was only 1 chair (for the desk) and had no safe (a requirement as far as I am concerned). Additionally, the deadbolt on the door didn't work. I reported it to the staff and maintenance looked at it, but it still didn't work after they did.

Water machine was always out of water, my toothpaste was confiscated at the airport security and normally hotels give some sort of toiletries, there was nothing in my bathroom. The room was so hot even on the coldest AC setting. Rooms are dated, need renoing. For 1000$ for 2 nights I expected more.

The location is amazing - view over the water, and The Shipyards, and right above Lonsdale Market. Easy access to the market, the Seabus and the lovely Shipyards area. Really comfortable bed!

This is an old hotel in need of refurb, and the new owners are going to have to work hard to bring it up to date. The heating and cooling system is noisy, the bathroom is old, and the furniture has seen better days.

You can't beat the convenience. And the views are stellar! The rooms are a good size and the renovations will be a big bonus! Staff is wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate us.

It's definitely dated. We read that it is scheduled to be renovated and that will be great!
