We had a wonderful view of the Vancouver city skyline. Yet our room was very quiet because it was relatively high up.
The restaurant and the lobby had loud music playing at every hour of the day. It would have been more pleasant to have the music shift to something like jazz in the evening or simply to be quieter. For this reason, we did not use the restaurant because it would have been hard to hear one another.
Beautiful room with great views. Second time staying at this location and loved it just as much as the first time! Great location at the Shipyards, so many good restaurants right as well as cafe’s for morning coffee! Nice to just walk around, admire the boats and ships across the bay and just relax. If you have kids there is a great splash park right there out the front door and it has all kinda of places to sit at as well. The docks have Adirondack chairs all along to just sit and take in the view for a while. The room was so clean and comfy, can’t wait to stay a third time!
Excellent Location, great facilities, amazing restaurant food, and staff. The only negative is the cost of parking. But the rest of the factors outweigh this.
Great location! Right on exciting waterfront with close proximity to the ferry, great restaurants and transportation. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly
Excellent location with many amenities nearby. View of Vancouver's skyline was amazing. We also had access to the shared terrace on the top floor which was amazing.
I was able to check in to a lovely room, overlooking the Shipyards and harbour after asking why I paid in $USD through Travago! Watch for that when booking. The pool is large and has six lanes so accommodates everyone. Food in the lobby restaurant is convenient. All service is given with very polite, knowledgeable and willing staff everywhere. The location and ambience is wonderful. C. Stainton
Great location, great service. It is right next to the seabus and there are lots of restaurants nearby. Room was comfortable and modern. Will definitely stay here again.
Location was the best side of Vancouver. Comfortable bed. Breakfast competitively priced.
Lacked quality customer service. Didn't seem to care. Tired in places - wallpaper and carpets.
The room smelled very bad and I was told there weren’t any other rooms but if I booked more nights they would give me another room? So there were rooms but the team just didn’t want to switch my room that smelled horrible. Poor service don’t book here not worth even 200 Motel quality..
Great location for the Shipyards. Harbour view room did have great views of the Harbour.
Expensive price not really matched by the room quality.
Camere spaziose Location sul pier e vicino al seabus
Struttura datata. Le camere non avevano un buon odore. Prezzo eccessivo rispetto ai servizi
The hotel’s location, in Lower Lonsdale and a block the Shipyards and the SeaBus, make for a charming visit and weekend stay in Vancouver, BC!
Super emplacement et quartier . Bon resto de l’hôtel . Acceuil agréable
L’accès de groupe d’enfants d’écoles à la piscine de l’hôtel ce qui ne permet pas de se détendre .
You will find this as the very best option in the Lonsdale Quay area. The hotel feels boutique and the service and rooms are solid 4 star. I would rate the dining room 5 star as the attention to personnel clearly shows there is a great corporate culture with attractive male and female servers with an enphasis on efficient and professionalism. I was also impressed with the table china and cutlery. Extra money was spent to have a upscale experience
Old, Tired, in Need of TLC and be prepared to deal with a poor parking situation and to move your own luggage like you would in a Motel 6. Not my idea of an upscale property, which is what the higher rates would seem to reflect.

Great hotel good location nice spacious rm with comfortable bed. Good service
I stayed here for business, but I would absolutely come back for a vacation. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. I slept incredibly well, which is rare for me when I'm away from home. The gym is hands-down the best I've experienced in any hotel during my business travels, and the patio connected to it is a fantastic touch. The food was excellent, the staff were welcoming and attentive, and the location was perfect. Honestly, this place deserves more than a 10/10. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Excellent location & proximity to public transportation
Pool amenities and location were excellent
The double beds - queens would have been more comfortable !!
Comfortable room
No complementary water in room. Expensive for room only
Cafe da manha
Great location - great service and cleanliness. North facing room was quite noisy from traffic in the morning. Parking not included BTW
great place, near lots of shops and a waterfront called shipyards. Easy walking to anything you could need. ice cream nearby, an amazing coffee spot within 10 min walks. lots of food choices. places to sit and enjoy the view. well worth the price and loaction.
Love this hotel, location & staff are exceptional; we enjoy the atmosphere and are always pleased with the experience.
Room 409 on the fourth floor overlooking the harbour. Large room with a small balcony. Huge comfortable bed, chair, desk and chair, stocked fridge but with room for our own stuff. Coffee machine, no kettle, big mugs. Bathroom with bath and shower over, reasonable pressure: large window, (with blinds) overlooking the room. Enough sockets although difficult to reach the one behind the bed. Air-conditioning reasonably efficient. Wi-Fi very fast. Location excellent with a lot of restaurants and shops nearby.
Our stay was pretty average. There was room for improvement, but the price was reasonable so it didn't make much of an impression either way.
Very bad experience. I booked Bakan Quartier des Congres in Montreal from June 27 to June 30, and when we arrived around 10:00 PM, there was no staff, no representative, and no clear check-in instructions. We did not even know exactly where to go. The place also looked very dirty, scary, and uncomfortable. It honestly felt like something from a horror movie, not a proper hotel where guests should feel safe and welcomed. We tried calling the phone number provided many times, but nobody answered. We waited for more than an hour late at night, confused and stranded, with no support at all. Because of this, we had no choice but to book another hotel at the last minute around 11:00 PM, which cost us much more money. Instead of taking responsibility, they later asked why we did not text them, even though we were calling the number they provided and no one responded. I also tried calling again afterward to follow up, but still had no luck. They failed to provide the accommodation and service we paid for, caused us stress and extra expenses, and they still have not refunded my money. This was unacceptable and very unprofessional. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
Everything, the location, view and the room was exactly what we expected in a nice comfortable hotel room.st
The cost for parking.
Thank you for having me yet again for another enjoyable stat . Suite was clean , tidy and quiet . Bed was very comfortable as being at home., see you soon I hope
Great location. Close to all major activities. Canada festivities was was two step outside . Beaufotil view . Sound proof . Food was amazon. Best expresso martinis . Vlean pool hot tub and sonas . Real please with our choice. Would absolute recommend. One of our friend lices in vancoucver and came to visit and has never been there before he was pleastly supris3d and said it was a great choice
Stayed here for three nights prior to picking up a cruise to Alaska. Excellent Hotel and location is in the shipyard area which is vibrant with a number of restaurants and cafes. We had a room overlooking the harbour and the room was serviced every day. Shower was reasonable power in a bath. Didn’t eat in the hotel as there were plenty of places around. Strongly recommend Joeys at the Shipyard and the Greek restaurant Anatoli 5 minutes walk from the hotel Five minutes from the hotel, you can pick up a sea bus which takes you across the bay to downtown Vancouver and the cruise terminal at Canada place. The sea buses go every 10 to 15 minutes. We would stay here again.
A wonderful place to stay. Parking was included. Great views of the water and we could see the cruise ships at Canada Place. Highly recommend getting a harbour view room versus mountain view. We were on floor 5 overlooking the Shipyards where the FIFA football/soccer games were broadcast. Clean room and very comfy bed. The location of this hotel is perfect for finding local restaurants and cafes. Character old buildings mixed in with modern buildings. Would return for sure.
First rate real hotel, excellent staff, everything was easy.
Only good.
Posizione ottima
Disappointed with room whatever you do don’t take a room on the North side of the building the noise from the road is unbearable poor blackout curtains and glazing traffic noise from 4:30am. Some of the check in staff don’t really care.
De ligging van het hotel. De kamer was ruim en netjes. Mooie badkamer. Goede stille airco, geen "rammelkast" onder het raam. Parkeergarage onder het hotel. Dichtbij restaurant. Leuke omgeving. Mooi uitzicht op downtown Vancouver.
Geluidsoverlast van de straat. Heel luid. Verkeer gaat om 04.30 al rijden.
Thank you, everyone at The Pinnacle, for making our brief visit to Vancouver memorable. Each staff member was courteous, professional and respectful. Breakfast was was probably the best we've ever had in any hotel.
The hospitality of the staff was incredible! We felt so welcomed here by everybody, they supplied us with anything we needed and were so quick to answer and send whatever we asked to our room. My partner and I enjoyed our stay and the area was lovely, This will definitely be our go to hotel when we come to Vancouver!
Everything was great! I wish we booked a room with a view but that was on us and we will definitely be booking a room with a view and balcony next!
Top Lage, leckeres Essen, gute Betten
Schlechter Geruch nach Kloake im Zimmer (dauerhaft), Lobby super kalt, mag man nicht sitzen
Great location. Room was very dated. Restaurant in lobby had poor service. Reception not clear on parking and rate. Our room had a view which was nice. King size bed could use new mattress.
Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier is my favorite place to get away. The view of the downtown skyline from the room is breathtaking, the rooms are spotless, and the staff is excellent. My husband enjoys swimming laps in the pool. It's a 3-minute walk from the sea bus and conveniently located near restaurants, the brewery district, a market and pharmacy. Public transportation is nearby and easy to navigate. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown cruise ship crowds and feels safe.
Great views close to restaurants, entertainment and ferry terminals,
Great location. Great views. Streets are quite busy so be cautious if travelling with young children lots in the area to do.
Good location with a great view.
Teppichboden im Zimmer; hoher Preis für Parken
very bad service at the front desk and restaurant like angry people, and everything in rush not polite, the resturant is so expensive and bad service. waiter, hostess, everyone in general looks angry
The view, the bed, the room, the restaurant, and the front desk staff and housekeeping staff.
Located 5 mins from the Sea bus this was an ideal location to explore Vancouver whilst remaining in the quieter area of North Vancouver The room was excellent and a very decent size Would certainly recommend
Location Staff View
Nothing
Great spot. Close to everything in the Shipyards. Seabus is 5 min walk. Great restaurants right out hotel doors. Would recommend 100%!
We loved the location and how convenient it was for all our needs. It was so easy to take the train & seabus to the hotel. The staff for the most part were fantastic. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious each morning. The hotel is surrounded my great restaurants. There is a great market within 2 blocks along with a liquor store, drugstore & car rental agency. The indoor pool is huge with a nice hot tub. There is a nice outdoor deck. We looked the relaxed vibe.
Dark rooms. Dim lights. Old
Great location but views cone at a premium and pricey, we thought we had booked a room on the harbour side but had to pay even more on check-in to ensure a view
Very clean! Great hot tub!!!
Pretty mid-range/ordinary.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction regarding certain aspects of my recent stay First, my booking included breakfast. However, upon arrival, I was provided with a $50 voucher for the room. Given that the minimum price for breakfast per person is approximately $40, this voucher does not practically cover "included breakfast" for the occupants. This felt misleading as the voucher amount is insufficient for a full meal. Furthermore, I was charged $50 CAD for parking, which I find extremely excessive and unfair compared to standard rates. I believe these charges do not reflect the high standard of service expected from your hotel. I look forward to your response regarding these concerns.
The Shipyards district of North Vancouver is one of the most happening places in the entire metro area with over a dozen great restaurants, several museums and galleries and a good market. Instead of going for a day visit I stayed at the Pinnacle for two nights and really got to enjoy the Shipyards in a way you couldn't in just a few hours. The Pinnacle is a first class hotel with exceptional views of Vancouver from its balconies. That alone makes it great, but the rooms are spacious, very modern with great bathrooms. This place would be great for a splurge weekend in North Vancouver.
Exceptional service. From front desk, housekeeping and restaurant staff all were helpful, friendly and respectful. The Lobby restaurant had excellent food and a lot of specials.
Lovely hotel, very comfortable, vibrant location.
Great place to stay…close to Londsdale Quay and multiple restaurants. Gorgeous water views. Don’t forget your swim suit…the full size pool is indoors and beautiful). Easy access to Vancouver via the Seabus, which is a very short walk (3-4 blocks) from the hotel. Staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. Manni (?sp) checked us in and instantly made us feel comfortable and at home. We will be back!
Great views from the room over the Quay area. Hotel is also in a great location for exploring the Lonsdale area and well connected to transit for exploring the whole of Vancouver like the Seaboat, Buses etc.
The rooms are feeling old and in need of some modernisation - paid for a room upgrade and it felt like it hadn’t been refreshed in 20 years. No free waters, or such for checkin, every item in the room is a paid add on. Supplied toiletries were in tiny plastic bottles and a very poor standard. Hotel has bags of potential but needs some modernisation.
There is an unmarked light switch that cuts the power to the bedside power outlets! Our phone died during the night! So weird!!
The location
We loved everything about this hotel. This location on North Vancouver was surprising quiet. We went to a conference and everything went smoothly. We had an amazing view of the harbour. The staff made us feel like we were Royal. We highly recommend and would stay again💖
Location
Washroom door was difficult to slide closed
Small rooms, bizarre bathrooms with a picture window and shutters on the outside looking into the shower from the room - no privacy. Super odd and awkward when traveling with family. Rooms were tiny. Location was 10/10 though
the location was great and the parking was easy.
It was pretty loud and the beds were very basic. At that price they should have better interiors and sleeping comfort.
Le service
Le wifi qui était atroce
Stayed here for a weekend while attending a wedding nearby. First impressions are that it's very much a business hotel but it functions just fine for leisure / family travel, especially if you are looking to spend time in the Shipyards area in North Vancouver. The hotel room was spacious enough for an adult and a child, only minimally crowded with two adults and a child. The shower / tub has a weird window into the main bedroom, with the blinds on the outside, which meant I had to emphasize to my child not to mess with the blinds and I had to ensure the blinds to the street were closed because I didn't need to be flashing the residents who live in the condos across the way. The bathroom has a sliding door with a lock that doesn't function very well so really, if you need privacy away from curious kids who like to fidget, this may not be the place for you. There wasn't much counter space in the bathroom but at least the water pressure was decent and consistent. The beds are firm which may or may not be to your liking. The pillows are great but certainly wasn't the best sleep I've ever had in my life. There were enough plugs but not the most USB-equipped room, if you travel with a lot of devices. There also weren't very many lights in the room oddly, so if you wanted a lot of light, you had to throw the curtains wide open for natural light. But otherwise, was quite dim even during the day. The pool was fine, mostly set up for lap swimming but it was quiet enough that I didn't feel my child was disturbing anyone with his splashing. Hot tub was great too, gym area seems well equipped and staffed. I did park in the underground garage designated for hotel guests and at check-in, opted to have my parking fees put onto my room bill to be paid upon check-out. After check-out, we went down to the car and found a parking ticket. I returned to the front desk and they were very apologetic and said that they'd take care of it (ie. speak with the parking management company to cancel the ticket). I haven't called in yet to confirm if that's been done but just be aware. May be easier to just pay the parking yourself directly. All in all, it was a fine hotel. Location is a premium for sure and there's no shortage of things to do, food to eat in the immediate vicinity. It was a perfectly lovely staycation otherwise.
We like the location. The breakfast was good as well.
The weird arrangement where the bathroom has a full-sized window into the living quarters. There is a privacy curtain that is controlled from OUTSIDE of the bathroom. What pervert designed this voyeurist paradise? I have two small, curious kids and this setup makes it impossible to shit in private.
Great location and pet friendly
Pet charge per night. Should be per stay
Terrific location near the harbour. The sea train to/from Vancouver is just a few minutes walk away. Staff were all very friendly, competent and helpful as needed. The bed was very comfortable and the harbour view was lovely both day and night. Breakfasts and lunches in the hotel cafe were high quality and prices were comparable to good restaurants nearby.
While the Pinnacle is a 4-star hotel in my opinion, it does not earn 5 stars as is advertised in some places. It's very clean and well-maintained, but some updating is needed.
I all way try to avoid any Holiday dine out due too crowded noisy special the Buffet long line up kids running around , but with invitation from my business pater's family can not say no ! surprised it is one of the Easter Buffet I truly enjoyed , the Ballroom well set up very spacious with windows around do not feel claustrophobia at all also not over booked , not a extravaganza seafood buffet but variety good quality food and all the Buffet station well stocked and clean , few breakfast items to choose from the Omelette station chef very professional always have the can do attuite , the Prime Rib roast (MR ) so juicy and tender also the Ham perfectly baked full of sweet flavor the cold Prawns nicely poached good size not like the shrimplets , very enjoyable laid back buffet no long line up and not many kids running around , efficient friendly service no problem take care eight of us , never feel being rushed at all , that's how I like my relaxing leisurely buffet , over all very impressed we are talking coming back for their Mother's Day Buffet in May ! Nicely done Management !
Excellent location
Parking fees
Our group went to Pinnacle Hotel in North Vancouver. The room was beautiful, clean, quiet. Food was absolutely wonderful, a little pricey, but worth it. They have swimming, suanna and hot tub. I would definitely recommend this place, and I would go back. Very friendly and service spot on
Great location, service, check in, check out. Great amenities with huge pool and gym, sauna, hot tub. With the Quay market, restaurants and coffee shops just steps from the hotel, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. So much going on here! Londsdale Quay is the best kept secret in Vancouver. Free skating even in March (bring your skates!), water park for the kids in the summer, food trucks and free music on summer weekends. Anyone visiting downtown Vancouver should stay at the Pinnacle at the Quay and take the 15-minute seabus ride across to visit downtown. Avoid all the craziness of the city, but so close to the Spirit Trail, Deep Cove (another gem), Ambleside in West Vancouver, the ocean, mountains, hiking, and nature. I have lived in North Vancouver for decades and have since moved away. Having stayed in all 3 hotels at the Quay, I can say that the Pinnacle has everything. Not run down and old like one hotel, and less pricey than the other.
There was dried blood on the curtains. I told them and their solution was to change them out the next morning. I asked for a refund and they required a service member to see the rooms condition prior to offering it.
Location view
The make up service at night was inadequate. Bedding is horrible. The duvet had hard clumps that balled into weapons. Patio was great but no chairs to sit on. Super old tV’s not smart tv.
The location was perfect
Location and breakfast
Within a short walking distance from shops and restaurants.
Nowhere to park out front when checking in.
My room had a strange and annoying smell, almost like spoiled milk. Traffic noise, especially large industrial trucks, kept waking me up through the night. All in all not a good stay. I've stayed here several times in the past, but will find another option next time.
We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel was centrally located to a lot of the items on our weekend wishlist. Great restaurants within walking distance. Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is 10 minutes away. Grouse Mountain was approx 20 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again.
Top locatie met uitzicht op Vancouver en goede service
Op booking staat dat ontbijt inbegrepen, maar je krijgt een voucher voor het restaurant dus houd daar rekening mee
Lovely clean facility and great helpful staff. We could not have asked for this to be better except for the House Wine!! That is definitely not up to the standards we see elsewhere in your hotel.
Pretty much everything and the lady on reception Poon was amazing
Had to move rooms for 2nd night as room class wasn’t available when extending my stay, had to check out and check back in again then wait for room to be ready. Not ideal but one of those admin things.
Even with being on Lonsdale quay. The he quiet comfortable sleep .. bed shower all excellent and enjoyed the restaurant food and service. Totally great for us
This is a nice property in a great location. Unfortunately upon checkin while I was up the road at Lionsgate Hospital dealing with an unexpected significant medical issue, requiring a multiday stay in hospital. My wife had to deal with a front desk agent and then manager, neither who showed one ounce of empathy for her situation. During checkin there were questions about either a waiving of the parking fees or some sort of compensation package that was offered on many rate packages. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times as well as other family members make this a home base when they come. There was nothing offered by the desk agent and finally the manager offered free parking. This is not about a perk, but rather the attitude of the front desk team throughout this checkin. My wife was clearly stressed due to the situation and yet did not feel any understanding from the front desk team. This is a nice property, fantastic gym and pool setup. Waterfront rooms are amazing with unreal views across the harbour. The cleaning staff are friendly and do an amazing job. This will not be everyones experience but it was ours. We have stayed at multiple properties throughout Canada, North America and Europe so not our first rodeo and we are definately not those who expect 8 star service. This was a moment in time where they could have cemented us for life, instead we will not return to this property as their are many options within 3 km of here.
Wonderful view of the Vancouver skyline. Gorgeous sunsets!
Great location
Bed was very saggy and uneven
