Quality Inn & Conference Centre Kingston Central

Nearly renovated rooms are quite nice. I wish they had completed the bathrooms as the bathrooms shower and tub were less than desirable. My wife did not want to go in the tub or the shower.

The overall bathroom, even though it had a new vanity, a new floor, the bathtub, and the shower surroundings were moldy, dirty, and uncomfortable

Location. Discount for Denny’s. Staff were friendly upon entering each time. Room was comfortable. Room made up second day appreciated. Restocking of towels.

Access to room. Second level. Mid way access then back to end of hall. Not a problem just not as convenient.

Nothing good to say about this hotel! After checking in. We went to the room and found it to be dark and unclean.

The bedroom was dirty. I had to spray the bed with Lysol to make sure it was clean enough to sleep in. Then when I was getting ready for bed. I went to take my shoes off and noticed that the floor was covered in ants.!! I immediately alerted my husband and he went to the office to inform them. They then called me in the room to apologize. But the facility cleaner couldn’t do anything about it because they didn’t have any product that would be safe to use while we were in the room. I asked if they could move us. But everything was booked up. Well are there any other Hotels he could recommend. No everything is booked up in Kingston. That’s funny because my husband had went over to the Hilton across the road and they gave him the number for the Courtyard by Marriott hotel five minutes away. Where they welcomed us with a large discount. Where We will definitely be going back the next time we are in Kingston!

The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel is older, but the rooms are spacious and clean. They could benefit from some renovations, especially the bathroom and bathtub. That said, you get exactly what is advertised. It's a good place to stay for a night's rest before continuing your travels the next day. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would stay there again if needed.

All staff, front desk,cleaning staff and people in the hall were all very friendly and said good morning. I like the fact that the front desk called to ask if everything was fine when we were getting settled.

Dirt and cigarette butts on the ground outside our sliding door to the outside. The corners on the bathroom floor were dirty and a towel from a previous guest was still laying in the closet, but it's not the end of the world. From what I can tell cleaners aren't given enough time to be thorough and are rushed.

The bath tub had brown stains in the bottom Toilet flush handle was ready to fall off No privacy in the bathroom with a glass sliding door Bottom of the bed frame held together with black duct tape The mattresses were too small for the frame and we would bang shins on the corners The room smelled awful…..damp, musty and had a unlived in stink. ???air conditioner not working properly We were shown another room but it as no better

Bathroom was run down, trim was falling off and there was visible mold on tiles and dirt on walls.

Down fall is if you are staying at the quality inn you need to cross the parking lot to get into the other building for the pool

The room was simple as expected and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was also simple/small but it was a nice addition. We enjoyed the coffee/tea amenities provided, and the access to a sink and mini fridge.

Our room was on the first floor near the doors to the hallway. Both mornings of our stay at around 8am, we were woken up by doors slamming shut multiple times (assuming it was other hotel patrons or staff members passing through). This was disruptive and in the future I would request to be placed in a different room.

The water taps in the bathroom leaked so much my bags were soaked once we realized what was going on. No vending machines, no water machines, small rooms, no hotel kitchen, only a restaurant attached that cost too much. If we needed water, choice was, bathroom sink or the water pitcher in the front lobby. Pool area, unattended, dirty towels all over the floor and overflowing the laundry bin. Could not reach front desk for extra towels. When it came to check in time, the line up was literally out the door because only one staff was on duty. Once a second staff came on, she looked lost and confused with her job duties. I still have yet to receive my deposit back, that I was told would automatically be given. Made sure to clean the room ourselves, even bringing in a garbage bag to make sure nothing was over flowing in the bins, making it harder for the cleaning staff. Military dicscount is not accepted during weekends, without special permission, only week days. I guess they shouldn't defend our country on weekends then either, without special permission eh?! Floors were dirty in the room itself, was definitely not vacuumed before we stayed. Bathtub was stained and dirty. The bathtub taps were rickety and loose. The toilet flush would only work every 2 flushes.

Nous avions demandé de faire la chambre la 2e journée pour avoir des débarbouillettes propres et ils ne l'ont pas fait. La pomme de douche ne fonctionnait pas bien et la douche coulait à l'extérieur. On peut voir que le mur est endommagé à cause de l'eau. Beaucoup de gaspillage avec des verres de carton.

It's a convenient spot with closeness to 401. I also have taken advantage of the Denny's restaurant in same bldg. But as I'm now much more arthritic in my knees and use a cane, i requested an accessible room. I need grab bars in the bathroom. A room was not available. I had a very hard time. I really can't believe that in 2025 this hotel hasn't fitted all bathrooms with grab bars in showers and near toilets. One obvious reason, aside from customer safety, would be to avoid being sued for falls!

We stayed here for a wedding and it was an overall good experience. The hotel seemed a bit dated and one of the doors in our room stuck and was difficult to close. Overall the hotel was of average cleanliness and the staff was nice.

Hotel is a bit old but clean and nice.

Had a ground floor room had a walk out to the parking lot. Would’ve preferred a little bit more security on that door than just a basic turn lock. Also, it had a 1970s screen on it that was missing a screw on the top of the handle. Bathroom was an odd layout with the sink almost in a separate area from the toilet and tub, but not very bright. You had to body slam the door to open it because you could see the door frame had been chisel/worked on quite a few times (not a smooth, solid door frame) so the door stuck The entry to the building was right next to our room. It was quiet, however that entry door didn’t work the majority of the time. I had to get maintenance to come and look at it. You had to walk to the end of the building to use your key to get in and people told me I’d be there in 2 1/2 weeks and that key swipe on the middle door didn’t work the most of the time that they were there Otherwise, it was a place to put your head down to sleep at night, but it was tired, looking even with its fresh coat of paint The chair in the room had no support plus it was peeling. The hook on the back of the bathroom door was half hanging off and where the toilet paper holder was, there was a big gouge with paint missing.

Ok hotel and great staff

Rooms were clean but very outdated. The door to our room only opened if we gave it a shoulder. No fans in the bathroom. No access to room from lobby, carpet was old looking in the hall ways and it all could use a coat of paint.

The staff were pleasant, greeted guests as they arrived, answering all questions with a smile, rooms and common areas very clean, parking for all my friends was convenient and close to rooms. Only one thought - my friend had a permanent cell charger on her night table which was very convenient for an alarm etc. My room, I had to plug in my cell charger to the outlet at the coffee machine. A small inconvenience, and overall, I was very pleased with my room and the facilities! Thankyou

I did not like the added parking fee. Just a way to add more to the rate. The fee should have been spelled out. Makes the daily rate higher. Beware.

I liked the little balcony space that came with the room. There was quite a bit of noise from the ventilation which would get annoying to try to sleep.

The breakfast was great!! It's always so great to wake up and have a nice and delicious breakfast like the one at this hotel!! We went swimming and the water was great temperature and fun. The little toys they have, our son enjoyed it so much. And he could be as loud as he wanted and not bother a single person. It was so much fun. The hotel was clean, staff was great and I love how they have restaurants and stuff stores, dupatta, domino's and etc around. All in a quick trip outside the hotel. Love this hotel.

I enjoyed everything. One thing was the keys don't always work and we kept getting stuck outside our outside the pool part. But it was great all around.

This hotel is fine. What you'd expect for the price and setting. The toilet seat wouldn't stay up which was a nuisance and the door frame around the chain needs to get get fixed better. It was an eyesore.

Quality Inn and Conference Centre has been our top pick, for family stay, given its silent, though right off 401E. I am happy it so close to shopping outlets, and Drug Mart. Dining is also quite relaxed at the multiple options around. Comfortable stay for 2 nights.

The worst Quality Inn we have ever stayed in. Poor front desk assistants. Could not connect to the WIFi, front desk staff could not resolve the issue. $50.00 in additional charges, parking is an additional cost. Very old building sliding doors don’t lock easy, pool and exercise room in the next building. Breakfast is not included, that’s an additional cost at Denny’s. Over priced for what you get.

The service was not great, like I was annoying them during check in. The place is older and basic. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. The room doors slammed shut and woke me up several times. The overall quality did not live up to the cost of the room.
