Could hear people moving up and down outside in the corridor. Room amenities were ok, could use bit of a upgrade. There was rubbish on our balcony. Staying when there is an event on made parking at the accommodation difficult since it's a first in first served basis.

We were pretty much opposite the stairs so the late arrival of quest was noisey.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The view from the balcony was awesome and the room was very quiet, the bed was very comfortable and the water in the fridge was a nice bonus. The restaurant staff were very attentive and friendly.
The rubbish bin had not been emptied from previous guests. The room and bathroom decor was old fashioned, the shower was very small. The walk to town was quite far away. The spa pool was out of order and I was really disappointed as that was one of the reasons I booked here.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Great location, big room & heated pool was great for the kids. All staff from checkout to house keeping were great. Didn’t use the restaurant but heard great things about the meal’s & breakfast from others we knew who we’re staying there.
The shower was quite small & I cut my foot on the corner of the open shower door as I stepped out as it was quite a sharp corner just something to be weary of.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Overall, the hotel was fantastic. Great location and views were fabulous, the staff was friendly and helpful and the bar/restaurant area were great. The hot pool and the sauna were amazing especially on a cold day and after a big hike!
The room was quite small and the bed mattress was a bit too soft. Unfortunately, the Grotto was closed which was disappointing. The Sauna should be turned on prior to being used as it took 30+min to heat up.

Beds were not too comfortable, too soft for my liking. Breakfast was disappointing, limited selection. Extra coffee options like latte was chargeable, very unusual for the hotel brand.

We feel that the rooms and public areas are getting a bit old and need replacing. The sofa in our room was very warn, the carpet was lifting. Never enough car parking for the number of rooms. Also the parking is all over the place not all facing the same direction.

There was a small confusion with the booking of rooms i had booked 2 rooms one for me and one for a work colleague and when they arrived to check in comms was obviously not handed on to the night staff as they could not find the second room in the booking system
