Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. There was no hot water available for a shower in the morning. When I raised the issue with the staff, the only response I received was a simple “sorry,” with no further assistance or solution offered. Hot water is a basic expectation when staying at accommodation, and I was disappointed with how the issue was handled. I hope the property takes this feedback seriously and improves both its facilities and customer service.

The drains were gurgling loud early hours in the morning which woke us up and the water in shower covered my feet so there could be a drainage problem? However, this was a minor, still loved our stay.

Couldn't at first find it due to the lights on the sign having failed. The manager didn't seem to be concerned, just said it would be fixed tomorrow. It would have been better if he had texted to warn us as he would have known we were arriving after dark. Other than that it was good.

A lovely clean room, the showers were exceptional, everything required. Beds were abit hard for us, but the water pressure in the shower made up for that. Woukd def recommend

A really well set up little unit (we actually stayed in two of them as we extended our stay by one night, and moved apartments for the last night. No great hassle and lovely that they could accommodate us. Great location, close to everything, by car - supermarket and the town itself.

Reviewed May 9, 2026The Clearwater Motor Lodge was set right on the lake with private access to the lake front. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a kitchenette. We had a little balcony with side views of the lake. My mum enjoyed the spa bath but there is also a seperate shower. Perfect for families as there was a separate room with two single beds and a king bed in the other room. The property was close to town and nearby attractions, making it a great location for a short or longer stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
There wasn’t much not to like about this property. If I had to say one thing, the carpark when full was quite tight to get the car parked.
