This definitely is not a 4 star nor even a 3 star hotel. The rooms where outdated they did not have lamps not a mirror the air conditioning did not work. They charged extra $40 per night and this was not estipulated on your site !!!’ Im Very disappointed.

The location is really good. In front of the beach practically, you just need to cross the street. The atmosphere is very friendly, but they have loud music all day long until 2/3am. So if you’re looking for a quiet place this is not the place. But it’s a super fun place. Rooms are clean, nothing fancy and they are small, but are comfortable. It didn’t have refrigerator or microwave in our room. The price was not bad. We booked last minute and pay $533 for 2 nights for a hotel in front of the beach. The only thing that we had to pay extra was the valet parking. They offer it for $50/night I want to give a shoutout to Michelle and dave from the front desk. They were really nice and helpful to us. Give them a raise!

Staff weren’t very attentive. We arrived and no one was at the desk. When she finally arrived, there was no customer service. No welcome drink offered (which was included) just silence and passed us our room key. The original room had awful noisy air con, so we asked to switch. The second room was basic but ok.

Michelle was amazing!! We arrived 5 hours before check in and she was able to get us a room when we came! She also was able to get a mini fridge up to our room! She was so friendly accommodating, and energetic! It was a great start to our experience in Miami!

The service was spot on and quick, Michelle & Joel were very sweet to send in complimentary champagne for my friend’s birthday and helped us with luggage too. The hotel is at the perfect location with all the happening places around. Would recommend 10/10

After I purchased a hookah at the pride event i spoke to a girl who was engaged and proceeded to look at her ugly fiance in shock and because of my look, I was kicked out.

I just finished my stay at the Clevelander Hotel with my best friend for my 22nd birthday, and I genuinely don't even know where to start, because this was hands down the best hotel experience I've ever had. From the moment that we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Godfrey at the reception was absolutely AMAZING! As it was my birthday and my first time in the United States, he really went above and beyond for me and my best friend. He was so kind, he was so attentive, and genuinely cared about our experience. He helped us with our welcome drinks, gave us great recommendations in Miami Beach, and even supported us with our security deposit, which I truly appreciated. Every time I saw him throughout the week, he was just as warm, funny, engaging, and helpful. We had such great conversations with him. He made us feel so comfortable and taken care of, and I will never forget how he made me feel during my stay. We also met Michelle at the reception in the middle of the week, who was equally as amazing. She was so friendly, funny, patient, and accommodating with us from the moment that we met her. She always had a smile on her face and made us feel so welcome every time we came in. It was always a joy to see her. On our last day, when our flight was later on in the evening, she was incredibly understanding and allowed us to store our luggage and relax in the lobby, which made everything so much easier and stress-free. She really went above and beyond for us and I'm so grateful for her kindness. That also, I will never forget as she really contributed greatly to our stay! I also wanted to mention Max also. We ordered room service and every time he came, he had such great customer service, checking in with us, making sure that we were OK, giving us that great & amazing customer service that we had also received from Michelle & Godfrey! The food that was delivered to us was absolutely amazing & the drinks we had were soooo good too! Honestly, some of the best I've had during my trip. From the presentation to the taste, and the service was just as amazing. Max truly made sure everything was perfect for us and it really added to the overall experience. The room itself exceeded my expectations. It was so clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. The bathroom was spacious, the shower was amazing, and the beds were so comfortable that I genuinely didn't want to leave. I also wanted to shout out to the housekeeping team. There was one lovely blondish lady, I didn't get her name, but she was absolutely amazing to us. She was always making sure that we had enough towels, enough amenities, enough water, and she truly went above and beyond for us as well. She was amazing! We were also placed in a quieter area, which I really appreciated, as we could relax without noise but still be close to everything. The location of the hotel is perfect. It's right across from the beach, which made everything so easy and convenient, and it's right on the Ocean Drive strip where everything is. I also love the fact that the hotel has so much to offer. The rooftop was beautiful both in the morning and at night, and the pool and the beach access really made the stay feel like a full experience. I would definitely recommend making full use of the amenities because it's absolutely worth it. One of my favourite things about the Clevelander is the energy. Being able to come downstairs and instantly be in a lively, fun environment with music and entertainment was amazing. It made the whole trip feel so exciting and full of life. But of course for me, as someone who works in the hotel industry, what truly made this experience UNFORGETTABLE, though, was the staff. Godfrey, Michelle, and Max genuinely made my Miami trip what it was. Their level of care, kindness, and attention to detail is something I've never experienced before in a hotel. They made me feel so special, especially for my birthday, and I will always appreciate that. I had such an amazing time that I'm already planning my next trip back. I genuinely don't see myself staying anywhere else. The Clevelander is now my go-to in Miami. Thank you guys for making my birthday trip so unforgettable. Travel can be exhausting, especially arriving late at night, but I was immediately put at ease by her warm welcome, attentiveness, and genuine desire to help. What stood out most was not just efficiency, but the level of care. Every question I had was answered thoughtfully, every request handled quickly, and it was all done with a calm, reassuring presence that made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another check-in. At one point during my stay, I needed assistance outside of what most would consider “normal” expectations—and without hesitation, Kristy went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled seamlessly. That kind of service is rare. It wasn’t just about doing her job—it was about taking pride in creating a great experience. It’s easy to overlook overnight staff, but Kristy is truly the backbone of outstanding hospitality at this hotel. Her dedication, professionalism, and kindness left a lasting impression on me which is incredibly rare in today’s world where customer service seems like a lost art. Because of Kristy, I wouldn’t hesitate to return—and I will absolutely be recommending this hotel to others. I sincerely hope the senior level management team realizes how incredibly fortunate they are to have such an extraordinary representative of their establishment, and recognizes her efforts accordingly. The only people who should stay in this hotel are young people looking to party. If you are anyone else, you should keep looking. The biggest issue by far is that there is an all day dance club in the hotel. The music starts about noon time and goes until 2:00 or 3:00 AM. You can absolutely hear it in every room. Even with a noise maker and earplugs, you may still find it bothersome. You simply cannot relax in this hotel unless you want to party to loud music. Ignore the pretty website pictures that show a couple relaxing in the pool. That pool is in the nightclub. We also had a service issue. The day manager was very helpful, empathetic and did make an adjustment to our bill, which we appreciated. But the evening staff was terrible. We needed new bedding, but the night managers showed no urgency or empathy to help us. It took over an hour and a half. It was a really disappointing experience overall. Just avoid this hotel.

The best hotel in ocean drive- the receptionist Michelle is the best- she will surely make your comfortable and memorable!

The location

The bathroom was basically in the bedroom which made it uncomfortable for 4 guests. The lobby was not impressive considering the hotel is legendary.

Not much! Not recommended if you like more than 4 hours of sleep after they finally turn the music off. It was mid week and almost zero people there, yet they kept the music pumping till 5am. For value for money, I'd recommend another hotel.

- Room location was immediately adjacent to music/entertainment areas - No advance warning was provided about the noise situation during booking or check-in - Room was advertised or described as a "suite" but did not meet suite standards - Room featured a disabled/accessible bathroom, which may not have been requested or expected - Overall stay duration was brief (1 night) in Miami Beach. Not recommended for the cost!

The trip was off to a rough start when we were given a room we did not book. Lucky for us, we meet Michelle the next morning and she saved the day!

Booked for 6 days Mid-October 2025. The staff was great and accommodating. However, we booked a Rockstar Suite which overlooks the pool. The room was nice and clean but the music was sooooo loud. Wednesday was the earliest the shut the parties down at 2am. The rest of the days were 4am! We asked to be moved and they accommodated us in another suite at the Essex House, their sister hotel around back. I’ll write a review separately for that. Overall, we personally wouldn’t choose to stay here again because we are partying until the sun comes up. But the staff were great and the food and drinks at the pool were good.

U sobi smo mjerili 80 dB sto je u europi dozvoljena buka u noćnom klubu kojeg sam imao.u ponoc dolaze mijenjati posteljine,a na vratima oznaka ne uznemiravaj.dorucak znaci u obliznjem baru kroasan i kavu.sobe minimalne.uglavnom putujem vec preko 30 godina i ovo mi je mozda najgori smjestaj,a s obzirom da kosta 300 dolara vrijednost koju dobijes za to je cista prevara

The front desk agents were very helpful. Everyone from the late night agent when we checked in at 2:00am after flight delays to the gentlemen the next afternoon helping obtain ice, to Michelle the morning of check out. They were all friendly, approachable and professional. We had a balcony room which was perfect for watching all of the activity below, the cars crusing ocean avenue, and beach views. The room may not be appointed in luxury, but the bed was comfortable and it was clean.

Michelle is excellent, a rare gem, provided top quality service - very warm, kind, helpful, customer-focused and friendly. She made me feel welcome every day during my stay at the Clevelander South Beach Hotel in Miami I went on a bus and boat tour of Miami Beach and Michelle arranged my pick up and went above and beyond to show me where to wait for the bus. She provided me with information on the hotel facilities and how to get around Miami Beach. I really enjoy my stay in Miami Beach. Joel, the manager is a gem - his customer service is excellent. He is warm, compassionate and very customer focused and friendly. I had an initial hiccup on arrival and he resolved the matter immediately and provided top quality customer service. Joseph, Max, were also excellent and provided great customer services, information and guide. The hotel was very clean, my room very clean and comfortable, with a good view of the pool, bar and ocean. The music was fantastic throughout the day and night until close of play; approx mid- night snd a bit later on weekends. The roof top with full ocean view was lovely - the scenery was superb. Very therapeutic holiday away - my birthday treat in December 2025. The Clevelander South Beach Hotel is the place to go. All the staff there are so welcoming and pleasant. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my next vacation in Miami as it is a great place and I enjoyed my stay to the fullest.

During my short stay in Miami Beach i visited Cleavlander 3 times. Perfect place for party starter/party proper, bar chilling etc. The music, the vibe,the bartenders and all the staff are doing a great job. I’d like to underline Renata from all the good bartenders. When i was there she was very attentive with all quests around. Her coctails were awesome showing experience… and she cheered us up on a rainy afternoon.:) Renata is truly made for hospitality, the industry needs more people like her. I’ll definetely return whenever i pop by Miami beach again.

I come down to Miami for work every year at this time, and have stayed in many different hotels. The Clevelander is perfectly located for beach and night life. The room is clean and cozy. The staff has been very accommodating. Michelle from the front desk was especially helpful when I checked in. Great price for the location and within walking distance of many activities.

I loved the location, the bar being right next door and the vibe that was created. I liked how security was really paying attention to guest and who moved in and out of the hotel.

Came post cruise to spend time with my sisters and we all out lived our inner child for 72 hours. This is the happening spot on in Miami…… safe party steps away from your home away from home. Upon arrival the receptionist was nice welcoming and on point with our party. The entire staff thus far has been extremely accommodating; my sister was happy which meant we were G2G!

Bed was uncomfortable with dips and uneven. Floors were dirty to the point on making Sox black. Under staffed and employees seemed unhappy or stressed out.

I want to express my gratitude to Valerie at the front desk for her excellent customer service and to Charlie from Valet Parking for his outstanding assistance. Their efforts made our stay more enjoyable despite the unsatisfactory conditions of the hotel. Unfortunately, the state of the rooms was extremely disappointing. The mattresses were worn out and uncomfortable, and we encountered issues with the televisions, requiring a maintenance call at midnight that ultimately led to a room change. After moving to a new room, we were shocked to find blood on one of the comforters. This was completely unacceptable, and I do not plan to stay at this hotel again. And they kept my incidental deposit ..

Everything from check in, to our stay & food/drinks, to check out was absolutely wonderful! The staff at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. I love how close it is to the beach and that they give you towels to use. Would stay here again!

Comfortable bed, clean rooms, friendly staff who would do anything in their power to make you happy, good amount of security in the sports and patio bar area, and being able to check out bikes for free.

The hot water staying cold was very inconvenient.

Oceanfront room was not clean and there was no hot water. Host moved us to the Essex house suite which viewed the street. Had to walk up the stairs with heavy luggage.

We got off our cruise and arrived at the hotel around 10 a.m.. We knew we could not check in so we asked Michelle if we could secure our luggage until check in. She was very friendly and helpful and got our luggage secured right away so that we could go have lunch and sight see. We returned at 3:30 p.m. and our room was ready. Stani got us all checked in and went over all of the resort and stay info. She was also very friendly and helpful. We expected the room to be dated since this is a historic hotel. To our surprise, the room was nice and comfortable. We were right above the patio and bar and enjoy listening to the music without leaving our room. We brought ear plugs for when we decide to go to sleep. Definitely a great spot for adults looking for a good time and not a snooze fest.

The vibe is super lively with music, pool parties, and a rooftop that gives amazing views of South Beach. Kristy was awesome—super friendly and always made sure I was taken care of. Loved being able to go from chilling at the beach during the day to dancing at night without ever leaving the hotel. I would like to start with the front desk personnel, they were very polite and accommodating. We wanted to check in early and the allowed us to with no issues. Once we get to the room we realized we were assigned a handicap room, which was really inconvenient when showering, the water will wet all of the floor in the bathroom. We choose this hotel because we heard so many things about the party night life. But while we were there the party was dead, so we choose to go to sleep early, which became an inconvenient when our room was on top of the DJ playing music until 4am, that was really annoying while trying to sleep. The cleanliness of the bathroom was not to good, it almost felt like I needed shower shoes. Overall, it was not the best experience for the cost, the hotel is outdated and not the party scene they try to make people see. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would not be returning.
