The Tony Hotel South Beach

Excellent location, not on the front so not noisy at night but only a two minute walk to the front. Kids loved the pool. Staff were all lovely.

The kind staff upgraded us to a king suite, what a blessing! Made our first cruise together as a couple even more memorable. We loved the room, and the location was absolutely perfect for our 1-night stay. Very walkable. The beds were so comfortable, I had a much needed deep sleep (so badly needed, lol). The little gym was nice but we would've loved to get in by 6 AM, 8 AM was late for us!

The provided liquid toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) were sub-par, and very hard on my hair. I had to exit the shower to go root around in my bag and find my hair products in order to continue. That was really the only downside for me. Minor.

The location was great - only a five minute walk to Ocean Drive and a further couple of minutes to the beach. The staff were vey friendly and helpful and arranged a taxi for us. The room was a good standard size and a little plain although the furniture was of the art deco style, The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we both had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was 'bijou,' but well appointed with a good shower with plenty of white, fluffy towels. there was a good tea and coffee making station (iron/board & hair dryer) and the air con was welcome. The rooftop pool was lovely with shade and comfortable loungers plus a bonus of happy hour between 2pm-5pm. The hotel has a lovely Art Deco feel. We felt it was great value for money.

Piscine avec vue mer, c'est tout simplement le paradis avec un bon cocktail. Un grand merci à la personne qui nous accueilli mardi soir. On recommande à 100%.

Comme tout le monde : l’emplacement, et La piscine est belle. Et c’est très propre et les lits sont confortables, mais c’est le minimum pour un 4 étoiles.

J’ai réservé en octobre pour 5 nuits, une chambre sur Collins Avenue. À mon arrivée, en juillet, J’ai eu un trou à rat au 1er étage avec vue sur le mur aveugle d’en face, dans la ruelle perpendiculaire à Collins Avenue. Les camions de livraison se garaient directement devant notre fenêtre, c’était super, on pouvait discuter avec les chauffeurs ! Devant mon mécontentement à l’enregistrement, L’employé m’explique que c’est ok, parce que tout le building est sur Collins Avenue. Mais bien sûr ! Et que de toute façon, ce sera comme ça puisque C’est complet. Bref, au bout de 2 nuits arrive une famille tellement bruyante au-dessus de nous que nous avons dû déménager, mais ça n’a été possible qu’à la nuit 4. Formidable, quand on est réveillés à 5h, Les journées sont plus longues ! Et Très heureuse d’avoir fait mes valises 2 fois, c’est toujours un plus pour l’organisation..

L’emplacement de l’hôtel tout proche de la mer. Le personnel de l’accueil est très sympathique. La piscine au dernier étage.

We have just recently stayed here for a 3 night break. We chose this hotel for its location and did not disappoint. We arrived on a busy weekend and you can park your car in the bay outside the hotel to unload your luggage. Then move to a parking garage nearby. On arrival we were greeted by a very helpful concierge and receptionist. Our room was ready so we took our bags and then moved the car to the garage which was just a short walk away. We had an issue with our pass which they sorted for us straight away. Our room was spacious and clean. One downside was the bath had a crack in it. It was clearly an old jacuzzi bath. We didn’t have time to use the pool but went up to look. Nice area. We had breakfast at the hotel which was nice and stopped for a drink in the lobby bar too during our stay. The floor above was very thin and we could hear the guests upstairs walking around. Our neighbours next door played their music very loudly until past 10pm. Did not bother us but not very considerate for other guests. We liked the art deco style of the hotel. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel too.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Tony, staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great, easy access to everything we needed.

Bedden klein en niet echt comfortabel. Uitzicht op airco daken. Douche duurde een eeuwigheid voor deze warm werd en schommelde steeds in temperatuur. Zwembad is echt super klein. Op de foto lijkt deze veel groter.

The room was not well maintained, bathroom configuration was odd. No coffee in the morning. The restaurant didn't open per the stated opening time (more than one hour late). Just overall, very disappointing.

Idéalement situé à south beach près des activités de océan drive. La piscine en roof top avec petite vue mer.

La chambre vaut à peine 2 étoiles. Chambre « deluxe » familiale située derrière la porte de sortie dans l’escalier , ce qui genre un bruit à chaque ouverture ( !?). 2 stores ne fermaient pas dans la chambre, on m’a donc donné des draps pour masquer la lumière extérieure. La cuvette des toilettes était mal fixée et nous déséquilibrait au moindre mouvement. Le carrelage de sol de la salle de bain était cassé au sol. 1 seul échantillon de gel douche dans une chambre de 4. Pour finir un papier sous le lit ( visible en étant debout ). Ça fait trop pour un hôtel 4 étoiles à 480 euros la nuit.

Die Lage zum Strand bzw. innerhalb von South Beach war wirklich gut. Das Zimmer war sauber. Der Concierge hat mit den Koffern geholfen.

Das Frühstück konnte man draußen nicht genießen, da die Musik viel zu laut war und zudem war es Partymusik. Auf die Bitte, die Musik zumindest leise zu stellen, wurde nur barsch erwidert, das sei hier so. Außerdem gab es nur einen Aufzug für Bedienstete und Gäste, sodass es beim Auschecken zum Engpass kam am Aufzug. Das angebotene Parken für 28 Dollar am Tag ist überteuert. Einchecken war erst um 16 Uhr möglich.

cute vintage style hotel. absolutely LOVED the rooftop bar and pool area. They also provided free beach chairs and beach towels down at the beach, and an umbrella was a $22 charge which we went ahead and got too. Only downsides were not being able to fill up our water bottles in the lobby with the water they had provided. there was a sign there that said we could use cups but to not fill our bottles… unsure why they would do that. also got told we weren’t allowed to eat our takeout food in their bar area, so we went back up to our room to eat. overall not a bad experience and it’s close to all the action

I got a great deal on a room rate. The location is good near Ocean Drive with easy access to the beach. The staff are all aiming to please. I got there early and had access to the rooftop pool while waiting for a room. Check in and check out were efficient. I had a room on the side of the hotel away from the street, and the hotel was not crowded while I was there, so there was no noise at all. Good sleep quality. The standard room was small but very clean with plenty of amenities and well maintained. There is only one elevator that also serves as the service elevator, so there can be some wait times. I had breakfast by the rooftop pool. The menu wasn't large but the items are good and the portions plentiful. The pool is big enough for short swimming laps. There are umbrellas for shade. Good bar service by the pool.

The location is as good as you could hope for on Ocean Drive. Really friendly staff and a great 2 night stay.

When we were opening the blinds we found a pair of knickers that I can online assume were thrown across the room in a fit of passion and missed by the maid. Not a big deal and quite funny actually. They belonged to a big girl!😁

El edificio esta muy cuidado la decoración con los muebles del lobby de diseño art deco, son muy lindos crean esas atmósfera de un hotel pensado con coherencia en la decoración, disfrutamos también de los lugares para estar afuera tanto para desayunar como para estar sentados frente a la acera , la cama super comoda la habitaciones muy amplias con muchas zonas de guardado.

La limpieza de nuestra habitación quizás le falto un poco de amor , el baño lo limpiaban todo muy rapido y el ultimo dia no vinieron a hacer el cuarto.

The hotel is in a gorgeous art-deco-style, everything is in pristine condition and very clean. You can see they take good care of the facilities. The staff is very sweet, helpful and makes you feel very welcome.The room was a good size with beautiful furniture, bathroom is nice and comfortable. You get free showerproducts of good quality.Plenty of towels and free beach/pool towels. Good coffeemaker with new pods daily, in the room.Bed was comfortable.plenty of storarge in the room, very practical details everywhere. They provide nice , complimentary water throughout the hotel. The lobby is so beautiful, as is the bar and breakfast/restaurant area outside.Breakfast is delicious with good options. Cocktails are delicious with a happy hour every evening.Pool area on the roof is nice and clean. There also is a gym.Elevator works well. The hotel is situated in a nice part of Collins avenue, surrounded by good restaurants and shops.The beach is just around the corner and you get complimentary beach-chairs (If you want also an umbrella you have to.pay: 27 dollars for a day and bring beach towels from the hotel since they didn't gave us those on the beach) on the beach with the boucher brothers, 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Price/quality is great.

Pool itself is not very big but since it was not crowded at all when we were there it worked well for us.The music in the pool-area can be too loud and too "boomboom" to relax there, but I guess some people like it that way, for us it felt not necessary. Although it is stated that pool closes at 8p.m ( except on tuesday it is 6p.m because of weekly deep-clean) on some days we found it closed earlier, bit hard to understand, it seems to be linked to the bar up there; when it is calm they close earlier and so does the pool acces which was a bit disappointing. Those are of course only minor details since the hotel is great.

Das perfekt gelegene Hotel ist wunderbar. Hervorzuheben ist das freundliche Personal, besonders Concierge David. Das Café/Restaurant um die Ecke bietet sehr leckeres Essen und für Hotelgäste 20% Rabatt. Das Pool ist zwar klein, aber bietet alles, was man braucht. Wir empfehlen es auf jeden Fall weiter.

The kindness of the staff and its location

we were able to check in early- a huge plus for us! the room was clean, and it was an easy walk to all the things to see in South Beach

they closed the pool and rooftop bar for weather- but other pools at other hotels were open- we were bummed to not be able to even just sit up there and enjoy the vibe- the walls are very thin- so pray for quiet neighbors. all in all great value for money

The location was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and always willing to help.

In general, the rooms were quite outdated, but what bothered me the most during my stay was the noise. The soundproofing was very poor, and we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms. Even people walking in the corridor sounded as if they were inside our room. It was not a quiet environment and made it difficult to relax and get proper rest.

It was great.

This was my second time at the Tony and I enjoyed it as much, or even more, than the first time. I love arriving at the freshly scented and cooly air conditioned lobby after a long flight and taxi ride from the airport. The staff are professional and helpful, from the front desk to the bar/restaurant. The great thing about the Tony is that Miami Beach is a lively location, but the Tony sits one block back from the front and its patio area always seems to be an oasis of calm. I enjoyed sitting there with a margarita in the evening and with an iced coffee and my laptop in the morning. My room was comfortable and had the amenities (ironing board, iron) that I needed. I hope to return in future.
