The property, formerly the Tudor Hotel, has been fully renovated and now offers a stylish blend of modern comfort and vibrant atmosphere. The hotel features a restaurant, a spacious rooftop terrace with pool, and a chic bar and lounge area. Thoughtful touches like complimentary sunscreen, water, and bicycles for guest use make exploring South Beach easy and enjoyable. Rooms are sleek and modern, with plenty of electrical outlets, a large shower with excellent water pressure, and a smart layout that makes the average-sized room feel efficient and comfortable. The bed provided a great night’s sleep, and housekeeping did an outstanding job keeping everything spotless and reliable. Morning coffee in the lobby is a nice perk, and our late-night check-in was smooth and welcoming — complete with a glass of prosecco. The highlight of our stay was the front desk team. Melody and her colleagues were exceptional: professional, friendly, and always ready for a pleasant chat. Their hospitality truly elevated the experience. Overall, Dream Hotel by Hyatt South Beach delivers a stylish stay with great amenities, a prime location, and outstanding service. We had a wonderful time and would happily return anytime.

The location was excellent, right near the beach and restaurants and everything you could think of. The room was comfortable and clean and quiet. The staff was amazing very friendly, they met all of our needs. The pool area with the bar was equipped with towels, water, and sunscreen, which made it nice and had umbrellas with chairs near the pool. Overall, the experience was a good one and had come back again. It was clean and I enjoyed my stay very much.

Dream South Beach exceeded expectations! From the moment we arrived, Colin provided a fantastic check-in experience and made us feel welcome right away. The pool area was posh and stylish, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Miami Beach. Also the Taco Tuesday special ROCKS! The female bartender that worked the rooftop on July 28th went the extra mile by personally going downstairs to check if the chips were gluten free. AND THEY WERE :) The hotel is definitely one of the trendiest places to stay in South Beach while under the HYATT logo, with practically everything within walking distance, including restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and the beach. We also appreciated the complimentary beach chairs, which made our beach days even better. A thoughtful touch was the umbrella provided in the room, which came in handy during the wet season. Highly recommend Dream South Beach for anyone looking for a fun, stylish, and convenient stay!

Overall, the property is dated and showing its age. The rooms, particularly the bathrooms, are very small, and the view was disappointing. Additionally, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. While this accommodations might suffice for a single night, I would not recommend it for a longer vacation as there are better options available. I hope you will consider these points for future improvements.

Perfect location close to everything what is important in south beach. Very welcome atmosphere created by several team members right from the beginning. My room was clean and spacious. I didn’t have any view. Kept the curtains closed. Money well spent for what the hotel is. Rassoul, the front desk check in specialist was exceptionally professional and funny. Please ask for him when you visit the hotel.

Great location, friendly, helpful staff, fantastic roof top pool with happy hour cocktails. Rooms clean, beds large and comfortable. Only a short walk from a city parking garage whicb offers very reasonable rates.

Great hotel, well located. The food in the Naked taco ( within the hotel) was fabulous. All staff very polite and eager to help. Special mention must be made to Nikki and Chloe in the bar area- they were so helpful . Room was lovely, and house keeping couldn't be any better. The only but that we found frustrating was that the elevator in public wasn't very reliable.

Modernized 1930s hotel close to ocean in south beach. Unless you are desperate to be in south beach environment go elswhere. Rooms small, expensive and poorly designed. Area noisy. Horrible lighting. Parking difficult and expensive.

Went to the Dream Hotel in South Beach, Miami for a three day wknd to celebrate a birthday. We were greeted by Alex who was super friendly & very genuine. We received complimentary water and champagne. Every interaction with him moving forward, he addressed us by our name. Location is great, a short block away from the beach and beach ave. Room was clean, cool and beds were super comfortable. We ate in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast which were both very good. All staff that we interacted with, housekeeping, concierge, front desk, and restaurant, were happy to help and very accommodating. I recommend this hotel, Alex and his team and would book here again in the future.

Overall location is excellent. A block from the beach and right in the middle of SoBe. The overall condition of the hotel however is a bit run-down, especially the pool deck, which was just sad. I think this hotel needs a major facelift.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Melody and Colin at front desk were able to help take of my needs. The only thing is music from downstairs restaurant could be heard vaguely until 1am. Other than that room is squeaky clean and nicely decorated. Hotel also offers free beach chairs and umbrella for hotel customers to take it to the nearby Publix beach which is only 5 mins ealk away. Nice place to stay at South beach Miami.

Loved this place right near the beach. Staff at reception were very warm and friendly excellent customer service. Rooms are modern if not a little noisy but that’s the vibe of Miami Beach. Breakfast was good and the rooftop pool and bar was great. Definitely stay here again when in Miami Beach. Thank you

Melody and Colin at the front desk were very helpful and kind! Clean building and room. The room was nice and the AC worked GREAT!! The lobby atmosphere was very nice and it smelled good. Great value for the money. Also, we LOVED the white noise machine. The general area wasn’t loud anyways, but we appreciated having the machine. Rooftop pool was small but it wasn’t crowded at all. Plenty of seating. $5 margaritas next door at the Taco spot. Plenty of shops and dining in the area.

Dream South Beach was the perfect choice for our special getaway with our 10-year-old granddaughter. Its location is unbeatable—just steps from the beach, Ocean Drive, and countless restaurants and attractions. As Hyatt Globalists, we were incredibly grateful for the generous upgrade to a beautiful Platinum Suite. Our granddaughter was thrilled, saying she felt like she was staying in a real "Barbie Dream House" with its stylish décor and rooftop pool! It made her first South Beach experience unforgettable. Despite the lively South Beach nightlife, our suite was surprisingly quiet. Our granddaughter slept soundly without hearing the street music, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches of complimentary earplugs and an electric sound machine, which helped us enjoy a restful night's sleep. The rooftop pool was a wonderful place to relax, and the complimentary beach chairs and towels made our beach days effortless and enjoyable. Above all, the warm, attentive staff made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Dream South Beach created memories our family will treasure for years to come. We highly recommend it for its exceptional service, outstanding location, thoughtful amenities, and memorable guest experience. We look forward to returning!

The location was perfect

I didn’t like the noise coming from upstairs and the cleaning people making noise outside of my door. And I put don’t disturb sign at the door don’t place a letter under the door regarding the do not disturb sign. The this hotel does have umbrella and lounge chairs on the beach. You have to ask the front desk for food up chairs and take them to the beach

This hotel and staff exceeded our expectation! Before we arrived staff reached out to us to confirm arrival time, offer upgrades, and inform us about available amenities. They offer bikes, fitness passes, beach chairs with umbrellas, towels, coffee and water in lobby, popcorn on rooftop etc. We also enjoyed free yoga and salsa classes. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed with champagne and our room was waiting for us. The room was clean and in excellent condition. We had the gold room, the bed was big and comfortable, the room more specious than we expected, the shower nice and warm, and AC quiet and cool! The hotel is in the heart of South Beach so location is excellent! We also loved the rooftop and had great views to watch 4th of July fireworks! Best of all was the very attentive and friendly staff! I didn’t catch all the names but it was hard to say goodbye to Rassoul and staff after they treated us like family for the amazing 6 days we spent with them! We will definitely be back again!!

I stayed at the dream, South Beach by hired when I was watching the game from Argentina and cap vert I had a very good day. Honestly, everything was nice. The food was good. The staff was very friendly, and I would like to make a honorable mention to Rassoul he gave us great tips and made art very easy and he always made sure we were good. I will definitely recommend

Amazing location, just a few feet from Ocean Drive and the beach. Excellent and friendly staff, clean and comfortable room with daily housekeeping. Rooftop pool was wonderful with plenty of shade provided by umbrellas. Easy to borrow a beach chair, umbrella and towel to head to the beach in comfort too.

Room layout was a bit unusual, with the bed up against the one window, so it did feel dark. Water pressure was not the best, but adequate.

Easy access to the beach and ocean drive. Great relaxing vibe with a cosy roof top bar and swimming pool. Boutique style with attention to detail decor and layout. People are friendly with sincere and authentic smile. Happy vibe with comfort relaxation.

This was the best hotel I stayed in. Naked Taco is right next door with the best food service. I had no issues with this hotel. House keeping kept me stocked with towels. Abel in the front was AMAZING!! If I could give 20 stars I would. I’m only staying here when I come to Miami. Lovely hotel!

Incredibly impressed with the hotel's hospitality! I had sent them a text message about my room the first night being incredibly noisy due to the bars along the street beneath/across from the hotel and not only did they reaccommodate me in a much quieter room in a different area of the hotel, but the front desk manager, Alex, hand-delivered a "rest and recharge" basket complete with treats for me to have a much more relaxing night stay. Could not be more grateful and impressed!

Pool area was a little tired.

The hotel provides a different experience in a great location - near the beach, close to bars, clubs and restaurants. Rooms are on the smaller side, but well laid out. Some challenges - only 1 elevator and it was slow, random alarm was disruptive and housekeeping was lazy and a mess (they no-showed at our requested time and didn't clean the room for 3 days). Breakfast was delicious and available until 2pm (yay! - late night partying).

Collin was a great host and a huge help during our stay as well as well as Pablo with his concierge help. Great experience.

This is at least our 10th visit to Dream South Beach. Love the smaller, boutique size of the hotel as it leads to a personal feel. The staff is amazing and the food/drinks from the High Bar/Naked Taco is excellent!!

This hotel is perfectly located in miami beach area. All the staff were super helpful and friendly, soecial shout out to Alex the barmaid/waitress...she made our stay even better ❤️. The rooms were clean spacious and airy and breakfast was delicious. The roof top pool and bar were also a lovely added bonus with great views of south beach one way and downtown miami the other way. I would definate return to this hotel if visiting miami again.

This property has retained a lot of original features and is in a great location. It also has amazing air con which makes a big difference in a very humid Miami. We were able to get our room deliciously cold! The roof top has a nice pool and bar area.

The room is a little basic, I would have liked a coffee machine in the room. I am unable to drink alcohol currently and struggled to get any non alcoholic options, ideally a NA beer but there was none - unusual. You need to ask for the prosecco on check in, I wasn’t drinking so didn’t nurse one but doesn’t feel like you get the warmest welcome.

The location, cleanliness and staff in the Dream are all first class. The big downside is the lift system between the two buildings. It is simply crazy and confusing.

Had a fantastic time at Skybar! The pool area has a great vibe w great music... but Kelly really made the experience stand out. She was incredibly friendly, fun, and welcoming. On top of the great service, she makes a mean margarita... easily one of the best I’ve had. If you’re stopping by the pool bar, definitely look for Kelly!

Over all the Hotel and staff were excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was outstanding right in the of the action in South Beach.

The only issue I had was the the TV did not work in the room although they did send a tech to look at the problem he did resolve the issue but after 2 hrs of play the TV froze and stopped working again.

I’ve been a World of Hyatt Globalist for over 10 years, and just when I thought I’d seen everything from Hyatt’s meticulous service, I experienced something new here — what I’d call effortless, cool service. It started at check-in. Melody, the front desk manager, set the tone right away — relaxed, confident, and genuinely welcoming. When I casually asked about a different room, Rebecca, the hotel manager, immediately stepped in, took full ownership, and personally handled it. Within minutes, she found and secured a better suite for us. That moment said everything — leadership that doesn’t just oversee, but delivers. That same mindset carried throughout the stay. We were celebrating a special occasion, and without asking, a bottle of champagne was sent to our room — exactly what I’ve always believed: what Hyatt can, they do before being asked. The real standout came at the end. After the standard 4 PM Globalist late checkout, we still had several hours before leaving at 8:30 PM. Not only did they take care of us during that gap — they arranged a separate room for us to relax in all the way until we left. In all my years as a Globalist, that was a first. Rebecca even said, with a smile, something along the lines of, “sometimes it’s worth bending things a bit to take care of a guest,” — and that perfectly captured the approach: thoughtful, guest-first, and confident. From the concierge going out of their way to help, to every interaction at the front desk, we felt genuinely taken care of throughout. Rebecca (hotel manager) and Melody (front desk manager) made this stay stand out — and delivered a level of service that felt like a true Hyatt Hotels experience. Thank you Hyatt for these gems

I recently stayed at Dream South Beach and had an amazing experience. The hotel itself is a beautifully preserved historic building, and the rooms are stylish, unique, and full of character. What truly made my stay exceptional, though, was the team. Everyone was attentive, welcoming, and highly professional. A special shoutout to Juan Carlos, the concierge, who went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic time. He took the time to walk me through the hotel amenities, shared great recommendations for places to visit, and made sure I didn’t miss out on anything fun happening nearby. When there was a pool party at the hotel, he even helped me free secure tickets, which made the experience even more memorable. I would absolutely recommend Dream South Beach to anyone looking to enjoy the energy of South Beach and have the ultimate Miami experience. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

We had such an amazing time!! the weekday happy hour is so worth it and the tacos are some of the best i’ve ever had. even when we were paying full price on the weekend we had a fabulous time, the vibes were immaculate and we got to meet detek, who led a bunch of us in pool-side blackjack. i cannot recommend this place enough, especially compared to the nearby options. you should absolutely stip when you’re in south beach!!

We had a team of 25 for a company offsite in South Beach and the team had a great time! They outfitted the Guesthouse to become a workspace and it was plenty of space for our team. Catering, service, facilities, and area in South Beach were all a great fit for us for the week. Thanks Mariana and team!

Nice experience overall, though a bit overrated and overpriced in my opinion. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the rooftop area is also very pretty. That said, there were a few inconveniences during my stay. The hotel is split between two separate buildings connected by a rooftop passage, which can be a bit confusing and not very convenient, especially since that passage closes at 7:30 PM. The elevators in both buildings were also not functioning well, with no clear indicators, lighting, or sounds, which made it difficult to know if they were working at all. At one point, I had to access my room through an older restaurant area, and there was no staff available to clarify the elevator situation. Because the rooftop passage closes early (along with the pool), I ended up in the wrong building later in the evening and couldn’t easily get back, which was frustrating. I was also disappointed not to be able to enjoy the rooftop later with a drink, as I didn’t expect such early closing hours for a Miami Beach hotel. Additionally, food and drinks felt quite expensive (for example, $8 for a single taco). There were also minor maintenance issues, like some water accumulation around the pool due to a clogged drain. Overall, still a nice stay, but it didn’t fully meet the expectations set by the price, location and Hyatt standards.
