Hilton Garden Inn Flagstaff

We liked the convenience of the location and the walking distance to restaurants and stores. There was also a hiking trail close which was enjoyable.

Although we understand that it’s common for homelessness which is heartbreaking, as a paying customer for the facilities, coffee bar and breakfast, I found it difficult to understand why the front desk representative didn’t redirect the homeless man who so easily helped himself to two coffees and muffins. It was early morning before 6:30, guest were in the lobby waiting for the restaurant to open. He was unkept and dirty touching the coffee dispenser and lid to the muffins. Yes, I understand and agree that empathy is the key to helping others down on their journey. If nothing else, someone working at the hotel could have got it for him.

I’ve stayed here several times the facility and the staff are just lovely. It’s my favorite place to go to.

The location was perfect. Not in downtown but right outside and about half the price. Within a few miles of the observatory and a quick shot to the Grand Canyon and The Snow Bowl. Plenty of quick dinning nearby and some excellent restaurants within a few minutes. Good for families and old people. Quiet at night..

I didn't love that the hotel charges more than a dollar for one Tide pod to use in the guest laundry. It would be better if they sold small travel bottles of laundry soap All of the staff were very kind and helpful.

Sad that there was no breakfast included, liked the location & Tesla chargers.

The room! I spend almost 200 for a dusty room. Thinking "the Hilton " would be more fancy for the price. I use to be a housekeeping supervisor and we did way more than your staff are doing. Crumbs in sofa, bathroom had hair on wall, dust in cabinets. I was blown away it being a Hilton.

Great stay. Friendly personnel, great breakfast with plenty of options, spacious parking lot and a safe area around. Super comfy bed and clean room in general, a nice view from the room, quiet property that allowed us to rest well.

The price could’ve been a bit better for last-minute reservations given there were plenty of rooms available. Shower door wasn’t cooperating well at first - it was derailed and we fixed it ourselves.

The staff was great! Great location near multiple shops and restaurants.

Refrigerator kept freezing froze my husband's medicine that we are no longer able to get due to our move it was his 2 month supply. When I mentioned this to the lady at the front desk she just said turn it down showed zero concern

The gentleman that checked us in was very polite and informed us of everything the hotel had to offer. The room was comfortable and clean.

Advertisement indicated restaurant, bar, restaurant is a continental breakfast, I never saw a real bar open. Room was excellent, staff excellent, cleanliness was excellent.

Breakfast was delicious with a ton of options to choose from. Everything looked fresh and we'll presented.

Elevators were down and there was no concessions for the elevator being down like free breakfast or free WiFi for the inconvenience of being on the 3rd floor. The bar soap left a filmy residue. There was no grass for my dog to use the bathroom.

Nice hotel near the NAU campus. Close to downtown and several restaurants and Walmart. Breakfast is not free. Excellent customer service.

The hotel was just OK for an overnight stay. I did not feel valued as a Diamond level customer. Lobby area is very nice. No bottled water in room. No continental breakfast but a $10 credit to 3 restaurants. You do get quite a bit of road noise. It is very close to lots of restaurants and a Target nearby. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

The lobby was pleasant and clean. Parking was ample and easy. Staff were not especially friendly and welcoming. We are Diamond members and usually get free waters and a choice of snack. Just water here. The rooms are not very well insulated. We could hear the conversations of the people in the room next to us, and it sounded like we had elephants stomping in the room above us. The bed was hard, but we were really tired so it didn’t matter. There was dog hair on the bathroom floor from a previous pup, which we wiped up easily. The coffee in the lobby was very much appreciated for starting a long day of travel.

The hotel was nice, clean rooms. However, it advertises restaurant on site and they do not have one. We are diamond members and have been staying in Hilton Garden Inns crossing the US, specifically for the lobby bar and restaurant. They still advertise they have one. Very disappointing! They did have breakfast and they charged my husband $10 for one bowl of oatmeal.

We stayed here one night on our way to the Grand Canyon. It is conveniently located right off the I-40 and I-17 interstates as you enter the southern end of town. There are plenty of convenient places to eat in the vicinity, and it is across the street from the Northern Arizona University campus. It is about a five minute drive to the downtown area. This is a pretty standard Hilton in this product line. The rooms are clean and functional. There is plenty of light and accessible outlets. I did get the sense that the walls were thin, and you could hear people coming and going. Luckily it was not crowded during our stay. In the lobby they offer coffee and tea to go. In the morning there is a small restaurant serving a hot breakfast buffet at a reasonable cost. You can apply your Hilton Diamond member discount there. The only negative was the reception staff who were rude and unfriendly both at check in and check out. If that is your one customer contact point, they really need to staff it with more professional employees.

Easy to find, right off freeway!

The parking spaces were a little small and not very many available.

A no-frills hotel right on the edge of Flagstaff town very close to restaurants and retail stores. It’s located close to the university. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Staff is very helpful and friendly. There is an indoor pool, but we didn’t use it. There are elevators situated conveniently close to the front desk. Checking in was fairly easy and staff were helpful about where to park and how to access our room. The room was neat and clean with a TV, fridge and coffee machine. Hair dryer and ironing board was also available. All in all, would recommend for a short stay.

Very clean place, foods and walmart closeby, breakfast with ok. Very mixed feeling about service. Front desk clerks were friendly, but not well trained I booked one more night at the desk, the lady entered the info and told me to come back for rekey and pay in the am. When I went by next am, I was told by a different person that there was no booking entered, she helped me booked it again and rekeyed my cards. I specifically asked for them to empty the trash cans and add some clean towels, I also made sure she included breakfast for all 3 guests. I was charged $50 deposit twice as it was '2 different bookings'. And here we were back in the evening, no one emptied trash or refilled the towels. I had to call them just to do that. Then the next morning when we showed up at the diner, we were told only one breakfast was included and we needed to pay the other 2 guests. At this point I was so upset since nothing seemed to be right. I explained to the diner staff that I told the lady who booked the room to include all 3 breakfast which she said she did, even told me it'll be extra charge and I paid for it. The diner lady was kind enough to tell me she could write 2 but she couldn't do that for all 3. I know it wasn't her fault and I hate to add more work for her. So I walked to the front desk and explained the situation. They were able to change it to 3 by the end. It's really not a bad place at all and the price was reasonable. They could've done a lot better.

Clean room, comfortable bed. The elevator was broken and we were on 3rd floor but they offered us a refund to go to another hotel. We can handle 3 flights of stairs thankfully.

Elevators were down and no central stairway made access very difficult. No elevators should have been compensated by 25% rate cut.

The rooms are very small, the elevator was not functioning so we had to carry bags up to third floor. The refrigerator pulled right out on the floor when trying to open the door. Do not recommend staying at this hotel. It is not a typical Hilton. Just stay away.

The room was clean but the walls are thin. You can hear housekeeping vacuuming on the hallway and knocking 2-3 doors down. We were on the third and the ELEVATOR was NOT working. I was sitting w/ 2 carts full of luggage by the front desk while my husband was parking the vehicle and there was no mention of the elevator not working. When I asked where the elevator was after seeing the sign and thats when she mentioned that it was not working, she did not offer to change the room to 1st or 2nd floor. FYI the elevator has not been working for 1 wk, again no calls or text about it and they do not know whenit will be fixed. Nothing like sweating in the morning going up and down the stairs before going to your meetings.

Impressed with the size of the room. Amenities were great, including the gym. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommen and stay there again.

Rude front desk, broken elevator, no free breakfast, average beds. Just not that good for how much we paid. I would stay somewhere else.

Great location

Loved everything from breakfast to pool, spa and fitness centre. Staff were lovely, clear and quick. Only issue during our stay was the elevator going down on day 2 but I was notified by email and a letter in our room which offered assistance if required. Plenty of parking and close proximity to food and grocery stores with plenty of options. Room was clean and neat and they offered a daily or every other day clean depending on preference.

Very good stay, I have stayed here in the past and it was the same as before. Super easy access to the streets and rooms. Easy parking for my larger truck. We don't use the amenities so I don't know about them.
