I have stayed at this place many times , the receptionist is very good , the location is perfect near Park St station and the very large markets and large stores are downstairs and it the area, the room is spacious with 24 hot water and clean bed linen

I was not impressed with the onsite restaurant and the staff , I ordered fish and chips there and they only served a few dried up chips with the fish , when paying they handled me a dirty , torn up 50 rupees change in the change which would not be accepted by other businesses if I had accepted it , the staff member was very rude and kept throwing the old torn note back at me as I would not accept it Because of the staff behaviour , I refused to go into the restaurant again during my stay there as they need to treat guests with respect .

The location is very good to me, heart of the city, easily accessible. However, there is a scope to improve the breakfast-variety of item.

Wonderfull stay at YMCA SEACOM INN. Staff are so cooperative,especially I refer Guddu and Manager Manas jee for their initiative during our stay. Room was clean and service was too good.

Front of the entrance should be more clearance.

Unclean Rooms, Linen, Pillow Covers and Curtains. Washroom had a leak. Backflow from the main washroom drain, when I used the basin. Shower faucets are not serviced. Water was smelly and unclean.

Loved the place & property. Prime location ! Receptionist was too friendly & warm welcomed. Property is Antique still clean & royal. Felt safety with my family. I really visit the property again, if iam going to Kolkata in future!

YMCA, it's a heritage property and located in the middle of the market. Washroom cleanliness needs more attention specially in the lobby. Reception is not available until 07:30 am Tried dinner and food was good.

Courteous security incharge. Central location to go around the city. The colonial style in house cafe offering continental style breakfast.

Though the vintage and colonial style building is impressive, it needs lots more attention and upkeep to bring back the charm and aesthetics. The entrance was damp and wet, it looked like it was water logged for a few days, the common areas were dusty. Rooms were quite spacious with antique furniture and the stay was comfortable but don't expect luxury

The staff except the Manager were very good. Room was cleaned and the linen were changed everyday. The food was good, price of food was reasonable and the restaurant staff were very cooperative.

The attached bathroom was very very smelly. The bad smell was so terrible and persistant that, it caused almost headache. Moreover, there was no ventilation in the bathroom. The windows in the room were locked. No views from the room. It was suffocating. The fridge of the room was filthy and unusable. The lobby just outside the room was noticably dirty. The shops and crowd at the gate of the hotel are annoying. The air cooler behaved mysteriously. The tv channels were very confusing. Even one hotel staff failed to find IPL on the channels. The Manager initially was cooperative, but later became rude and behaved in very offending manner.

Location is fabulous. Room is enough in size . Clean room . Give you the vibe of old places.

The bed was too loose ,make sound unnecessary. Tv given by the hotel is very old .

Staff behaviour and service was very good. Even after check out time they kept our items safely in their cloak room. We would surely recommend others even to come and stay here.

The food was very good. The room was comfortable, the staff was helpful and polite, and the location was excellent.

Absolutely fabulous 👌🏻 great location, great staff and absolutely stunning building. The rooms are very spacious and in general has a very cozy vibe. Loved it, my best stay in my India journey.

I return to this place after a week away for trekking. The main entrance is almost indistinguishable from other shop fronts. The front walkway of building is swallowed by stalls selling varied products, stretching as far as the eye can see. Hahaha, in the midst of New Market layout. Old quaint building with its double manual grilles lift. Need to negotiate some steps to rooms. Attentive staff. Breakfast is reasonable at 2nd level. Do try their main meals at the old meeting room.

Locks of door could be make safer, esp from inside. Blankets and bedsheet appear to have been subject to hard water treatment. Place could do with some refurbish.
