This property the cleanliness of the room and property is really poor …. bad smell were coming from room itself

From toilet bad smells were coming . The window glass Handel was found damaged and AC was not cooling enough . The Tv remote battery was low and the remote battery cover was tightened by newspaper piece and all time was removed

They should let us know that they are renovating some of the floor. too noisy at the daytime.

Rooms and Bathroom cleanliness, amenities in the bathroom, bathroom fixtures, breakfast buffet, hygiene, smelly and very old carpets in the corridors, very little choice in the dinner menu, malfunctioning TV’s in the room.

Sehr restriktive Zahlungsweise: keinerlei Rückmeldung zu meinem Hinweis auf 4 Fake Rechnungen (Buchung direkt) und Zimmer gecancelt, da ich bei diesem Vorlauf skeptisch war und um Bezahlung bei Ankunft gebeten hatte. Darauf hin Buchung über Booking.com und Vorauszahlung, Flug verpasst, keinerlei Erstattung (vom Lindsay, von Booking.com 13 €). Und das wo ich seit 20 Jahren dort Kunde bin!

Es liegt zentral am New Market.

Es gab kein warmes Wasser. Dreimal gefragt, keine Abhilfe, keine Preisreduktion.

Excellent location, helpful staff, efficient reservation desk staff, good breakfast. Helpful front desk staff helped us when we had to cut short our trip due to unavoidable reasons and arranged partial refund as per norms. That was great gesture. Overall decent hotel

The bathroom could be renovated and made more modern

In the booking.com page, need to show room picture separately for avoiding confusion. It is happened for me. Overall maintenance, specially curtaim, floor matt, washroom comot, need to clean & renovation. Lift also not fast as standard.

No cleanliness, restro bar food was bad, bedsheets were not washed, toilets were not clean I wanted a non smoking room but they gave me a smoking room with lots of smell

Breakfast was OK - limited selection. The general condition of the hotel was a bit wore and ragged - it could do with better maintenance

Nothing! The room was filthy when it was given to us full of dust everywhere. Curtains needed to be changed and the fridge was full of ice and made terrible noises at night. The room smelt musky and the walls looked terrible as if someone spat on them.

Äußerst hilfsbereite Staff, selbst in besonders schwierigen Situationen. Allerbeste Lage am New Market. Perfekt, um Kolkata zu Fuß zu entdecken. Executive Zimmer mit toller Aussicht. Rooftop Restaurant. Perfekte Location für Reisende, die sich nicht daran stören, dass das Hotel leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.

There was nothing worth mentioning apart from mediocre food and proximity to new market.

Everything from greedy staff looking for tips for every smile, very rude and argumentative receptionist at 9AM, dirty rooms and smelly asiles, not even basic toiletaries and when requested multiple times it took them forever to provide such inferior quality of toiletaries. No information about even reception, housekeeping, maintenance contact #. Dirty and dull linen, dusty curtains and dingy setup. Hospitality never existed for them and everyone seemed to be obliging us by even talking to us. WORST STAY EVER THANKS TO PEGIONS KNOCKING THE GLASS FURTHER...it is better to stay at railway platform...shear wastage of money. Don't stay even if they pay you 5 times the tariff as a reward.

The revelation was the roof terrace restaurant and cocktail bar on the 10th floor. Fabulously cooked Indian menu, good cocktails and an eagle that swooped around the top of the building in search of pigeon.

This property is absolutely not recommended for people who would want a decent stay. It’s not clean, stinky and old dirty utensils…..

Very very close to New Market. Just Wow.

It’s a comfortable stay , Heritage appeal , The bell boy Raja is incredibly helpful , Room was a bit small , but given the historical nature it’s bearable ,Only slight discomfort is the noisy window ac , Rest it’s a fantastic stay , not to forget right in front of the iconic New market

The location and the breakfast were decent.

The amenities of the room were extremely poor. The room and the toilet were not even clean.

Location is very good for shopping but rest of the things are very much disappointing. About Breakfast nothing to say, you can just eat for the sake of breakfast time.

Customer service was to a high standard and everything we required was available.

We didn't have a nice view from the window in our room .
