Cambria Hotel Fort Mill

The staff were friendly and responsive, and the rooms well designed and comfortable, as always. The fitness center is large, well appointed and cooler than previous stays, at last. (and the Receptionist accommodating when requested to turn down the temps as the room heats up in the mornings due to the East facing glass wall). Thank you!

Minor thing---the soap dish was missing and we had to place the wet aoap on the counter. We were told not all the rooms had soap dishes? (we'd had them on previous stays)

I did not eat the breakfast provided because you had to order from a menu. I wanted to get an early start to finish my trip.

Menu options were limited selection and some of the items on that were on the menu were unavailable. But what choose was very good.

The hotel is very pleasant. The room is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good.

There was a leak from the ceiling in the hallway the entire time we stayed. And it was not pleasant when leaving the room.

I had issues with the TV but when I attempted to call the desk I was left on hold 3 times and no one ever came to the phone. I didn't want to put clothes back on and go back downstairs. I had JUST saw the clerk when I purchased something, so I knew she was at the desk. I ended up figuring out the television for myself. I was more upset about being ignored. I could have been calling for something extremely important for all she knew.

Location was good. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure good. Pillows ok. Cleanliness was good.

Thermostat was unresponsive. Room was too warm. Kids running around in lobby for basketball tournament were somewhat annoying. Key card not working on north exit was annoying. There was no cigarette receptacle by north door like in past visits.

The location was nice.

The barn door to the bathroom wouldn’t move when trying to open it from within the bathroom. It took my two teenage sons to lift it and slid it over for me to be able to get out of the bathroom.

The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in a hotel! And the room had a darkening blind so room could be darkened sufficiently. With a bar and restaurant inside the hotel, no need to travel elsewhere to eat or drink. Very convenient, and breakfast was delicious.

There was no hand bar soap at the sink. When we made an inquiry, we were told they didnt have any! There was only pump lotion soap in the shower.

Very clean, staff was great.

Efficient room layout with all the amenities---coffee, safe, microwave, desk and power outlets at all convenient locations. Bathrooms spacious and Fitness Center is ample and well appointed.

The coffee could be better (stronger) and we've had to ask staff to lower the air temps in the Fitness Center a number of times---some have been helpful, some resistant and pushed back (no maintenance on staff, don't know how, etc...). When the staff was able to do so, it was great. The Fitness Center and friendly staff sets this hotel apart from competitors in the area.

Beautiful hotel and still feels new. The reception staff were excellent and the room is comfortable but small. The bar was rocking the night we were there.

We were onlt there for one night. Checked in changed and left. Got back late, had an appand drink in the bar. Was OK. Got up early and left. No real breakfast and didn't even se fresh coffee. Didn't wander around looking and no employees in the bare area so we left. Expensive to not have those basics.

My favorite thing about it was the level of security, after a certain time the front doors lock and you have to have your room key to get in, the spacious room, I loved the Bluetooth mirror, the soft bedding and blankets, the coffee machine with coffee pods and creamer, to top it off the whole trip we wasn’t bothered once because we had the privacy thing on our door, and I loved the text message system I could message and tell them if I needed anything, 10/10 recommend this hotel the atmosphere and the people working here are all together wonderful.

Everything was good, which is part for the course. The only gripe I have is with Sunday morning breakfast. There were not that many people, but the service was extremely slow.

We stayed overnight for a staycation. The hotel is super clean and beautiful, and the staff was amazing! We really enjoyed the bartenders, David and Deb! We will definitely be back and will recommend to all our family and friends.

The staff were exceptional and Jim the general manager was so welcoming. He made us feel right at home. Really incredible team!

Informationen zu Reinigung vorab waren nicht gegeben, d.h. ich wusste nicht, dass House Keeping nur 2x stattfand. Menge Kaffee und Kaffeepötte passte somit auch nicht.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful

Great accommodations. Close to both Rock Hill, SC and Charlotte, NC. One small thing I noticed, apparently cleaning services did not come to tidy our room, make bed or give us fresh towels and wash cloths while we were out. Perhaps it's no longer a thing.

So clean and just amazing

Really liked the convenient location, clean and well laid out rooms, fitness facility and generally pleasant and accommodating staff (except one).

Desk person on Monday morning, 9/1/25 (going off shift soon) was very non accommodating when asked to turn on A/C and perhaps lower temp in fitness center. Said he'd leave note for maintenance and manager (both of whom were not on premises bc of the holiday weekend). Said nothing could be done and we were out of luck. Period. Luckily, Telliya, who came on the next shift, rolled up her sleeves and helped us make the Fitness room properly ventilated and cool enough to do a proper cardio exercise. Telliya has the proper hospitality spirit! The other guy needs more training.
