the room. i bought room stated seaview but only get room with garden view.. below my expectation for traveling 6 hours from kl to penang with kids and jammed to get this kind of view. the excitement when we enter the room was very dissapointed! will not repeat. for the room picture i dont even take this time because no excitement. otherwise from this hotel is okay staff is friendly pool is nice and beach is nice.

槟城度假区的度假酒店，有亲子游泳池，步行到沙滩几步路，早餐品质很好，酒店员工响应速度很快。预订了酒店沙滩边的落日晚餐，住客享受了10%的折扣，价格也比较合理。

房间没有放浴袍，椅子上面有污渍，然后我打电话就马上处理了，但希望下次可以提前检查，给顾客好的体验。

Great resort with excellent staff. The room Decor was lovely. Comfortable beds. The pools were great. Enormous variety for breakfast. We had the best time and kept extending our stay.

We were there at a busy time and there were a LOT of people around which meant crowded breakfast and hard to get a sun lounge by the pool. We would choose to come back at a less busy time. We definitely will come back!

The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices! The staff cleaned the room every day. We booked a family room for four people, and the staff kindly provided a few extra bottles of water each day. and all the staff were very friendly.

The air conditioning was quite noisy, although we got used to it after two nights. The soundproofing wasn’t very good either, and we could hear the guests next door talking clearly.

The staff were wonderfully friendly and accommodating, and the overall atmosphere was very comfortable. Overall we had a nice stay.

Though a few small details could be improved—such as addressing some mold spots around the bathroom sink basin and looking into the room soundproofing, as upper-floor footsteps were somewhat audible during the night

We had such a lovely stay at PARKROYAL Penang Resort! Our room was excellent — spacious, with a huge comfortable bed and the fluffiest pillows. The resort itself is in a beautiful location, with private access to the white sandy beach and a lovely swimming pool. The kids really enjoyed the daily activities, and there was always something for them to do. Honestly, there was so much to enjoy within the resort that it made leaving harder — we often just felt like staying in and enjoying the hotel! A really enjoyable family stay and definitely somewhere we’d love to come back to.

accueil plus que "superficiel" par une dame lors de notre arrivée à la réception alors que nous revenions pour la 2ème fois à Park Royal Penang. Pour comparaison avec d'autres Park Royal : une attention particulière et des sourires qu'on su donner vos collègues de Park Royal Langkawi lors de notre 2ème visite chez eux à l'arrivée comme au départ ! Mer impraticable à cause des méduses. Heureusement qu'il y avait la piscine pour compenser.

Nothing.everything is perfect except when i arrived,the staff that greeted us ask me and my children to wait at the lounge where they gonna serve complimentary welcome drinks while waiting for my husband to check in.but when we were there like about 10 mins,no one came to serve us the drinks.i saw they were serving out to others,and even guests who came after us just next to my table.as if we were not there.i was wearing very simple.jeans and tshirt,looking kinda messy after a long journey from kl with boys and toddler in the car so maybe they thought i’m a maid so they don’t bother to serve

The staff did not informed us that there was a fire show performance every night at the beach. The grab driver was the one that informed us of it.

Breakfast was acceptable but lunch and dinner were awful. As evidence of this the hotel's 300 rooms were fully booked but when we ate lunch and dinner only there were only 3 other diners. The locals, mostly Malays ate elsewhere away from the hotel.

Lunch and Dinner in the restaurants. The pools. The Beach. The horrendous traffic jams to/from the airport and city centre. Not one single person swam in the sea during the 4 days we were there. The weather was good but the waves crashing into a steep sloping beach precluded swimming. The hotel was advertised as having a long sandy beach - true - but the average swimmer and no kids could not swim in the sea. This really spoiled the vacation for my family.

This is one hotel which we visit every few years because of the location, the facilities, the room, the food and staff. For us it’s the staff at the Kids club, they remember our kids across the many years of visit. A big thank you to the staff at the Kids club for being so warm to us.

The shower at the poolside needs to be upgraded, the water pressure is not adequate or almost not functioning to wash off all the sand from the beach before heading to the pool. Many people just walked Into the pool, causing the pool to have a lot of sand particles.

Het is een oud resort. De kamers waren niet echt goed schoongemaakt. Allemaal vlekken op het beddengoed en op de lampenkappen. Eerlijk, ik vind het kwa prijs en kwaliteitsverhouding niet goed. Je betaald meer voor het uitzicht. Het buffet daarentegen is wel goed. Je ziet dat het over het algemeen een goed resort is, als de kamers beter worden schoongemaakt, dan zou ik het echt een 9 hadden gegeven, ondanks dat het een oud resort is.

The property is old already, air con in the bft area is poor. Overall hotel is old n not worth this price. Traffic jam is bad n too far away from airport which took us more than 1.5 hours for travelled 20-30km. Wasted my time

Great location, just a short walk to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place is really kid friendly. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

The company’s team-building activities being held near the pool area during the weekend are something that should be looked into, as they may cause disturbance to other guests. There are also concerns regarding privacy, especially when participants are recording videos or vlogs. My family members may unintentionally be captured in their recordings without our consent. In addition, the activities are at times blocking or obstructing the walkways leading to the pool and the sea, making it inconvenient for other guests to pass through. I hope the management can look into this and ensure that future activities do not disturb other guests or compromise their privacy and access to the facilities.

My feeling was that children should not be allowed at the second pool, that they should be only in the pool that has the slide etc. I don’t like the noise and being splashed etc. I am not against being around children as such but on a holiday a quiet space for adults would be really beneficial for your resort I feel. Especially as you are well set up for this with the two pools.

Gorgeous grounds with a great splash park for kids. Located right on a lovely stretch of beach as well. Room was great and beds very comfortable. Big selection at breakfast.

The family room is excellent. The only comment is to make the dividing wall a solid wall rather than slates to allow light to be blocked out if parents want to stay up later than the kids. The service in a restaurant can be a little slow depending on timing.

Ive been frequenting Parkroyal for more than 12yrs. The landscape, the family rooms overlooking the garden, fully equipped gym, pools and slides. Guards were welcoming.

Cinnamon-The food spread is huge but taste has decline slightly. Servers are not attentive. Plates took forever to be replenish. Hsk-Room were not swept after daily housekeeping svcs. Bathtub was dirty. Garden not clean within room vicinity. FO- You shud have a portfolio of your frequent guests. It seems the hotel has lost its hospitality edge amongst the upgrading of a 5star hotel

We had stayed jn the Park Royal kuala lumpar the previous week and thought it was fabulous and ticked all boxes on arrival Penang excelled even more just class

La vue, la chambre et les petits-déjeuners étaient top. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Nous n’aurions pas dit non à une nuit supplémentaire.

Le seul bémol est sur la recommandation pour un van pour aller sur Besut (séjour dans les Perhentian après) … confort très sommaire (amortisseurs quasi inexistants sur des routes très cabossées 😅) pour un prix équivalent à des agences sérieuses à priori. Pour ce type d’hôtel, je m’attendais vraiment à avoir de bons conseils pour ce type de transfert. Vraiment décevant sur ce point 😔.

Établissement très bien entretenu et profitant d'un emplacement idéal, permettant de profiter d'une ambiance relaxante pour un séjour réussi. Une mention particulière pour le directeur et son chef de la restauration qui sont à l'écoute, bienveillants et facilement accessible. Ps : Le restaurant italien offre une expérience culinaire incroyable en bord de plage !

We’ve stayed here few times and it has always been a favourite for us. The location, resort atmosphere, pool and overall comfort make it a place we keep coming back to. Everything is convenient and perfect for a relaxing getaway.

For a 5 star hotel, the rooms are some of the lowest standard I have ever come across in my entire life of travelling. I have never seen such basics rooms in a resort that claims to be 5 star.

- Beach and outdoor well maintained. -Clean room, even balcony area. - Decent breakfast. Peak hours staff hard to keep up with cleaning and refilli g food. - Attentive staff. My kid had scratches while playing at the water splash area, the staff handled it well. - Pizza from the Italian restaurant

Had dinner at the Cinnamon Asian kitchen, ala cart as it wasn't weekend. Terrible food, long waiting time. Family pool is small, kids club also ordinary compared to hotels nearby.

We advised them to look for air fan and air cooler in some areas like sunset bar due to hot weather around facility. And beach sport shop we did not like people behavior as their hospitality was very bad specially their supervisor the old lady.

The place was very beautiful especially garden side..nice place,good friendly staff n room space.
