Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Hotel Centro is located in Shivaji Nagar which is an upscale neighborhood. The rooms were neat and clean, and amenities provided were thoughtful. Their in house restaurant 'Chirp' is amazing! We tried a lot of delicacies including the complimentary breakfast and none of them disappointed us. The staff were polite too.
Only thing that I can think of is the size of the rooms. The pictures gives you a feeling that the rooms are big enough, and that's a let down when you see it in real. Some rooms don't have any windows.

one of booked room was not ready even though we check in at 1800lt in evening which is quite late after standard check in time. Also I requested to extend my check out for one of room till 1700LT due medical emergency but hotel staff didn't consider that and instead asked me for paying 40% of room charges for a day.

Breakfast is not at the level of standard if you stay as business. The staffs in the restaurant are also not reaching the level of standard. The room is just for sleep. If your neighbors in the next room stays in calm then it must be OK like me. The outside noise keeps coming in.

Reviewed May 19, 2026The location was quiet and convenient depending on what part of the city you will frequent. The room was prefect for a single traveler or couple. You may find it small if you come from a western country, but coming from Japan I found the room size to be normal. Breakfast was excellent, and you can enjoy a wide range of south Indian dishes, fruit, etc. I also enjoyed the focus on sustainable service and the fact that the hotel restaurant was surrounded by plants.
My room was on the 2nd floor facing the back, so I had some noise from the kitchen of the ground floor restaurant depending on the time of the day. Not a big issue, as it was still quiet by Indian city standards :)

Reviewed Apr 3, 2026Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Man kommt problemlos zu Fuß in sehr interessante Teile der Stadt. Auch gute/günstige Gastronomie ist im Haus und der nahen Umgebung problemlos erreichbar. Das Frühstück passt. Man genießt Indische Küche in freundlichem Ambiente und Blick auf die Straße. Sehr angenehm geht es auch abends im Gastraum zu. Hier befindet sich eine sehr freundliche Atmosphäre mit vielen Einheimischen .

The bathroom has an elevation which made it difficult for my grandparents to enter. That was the only issue :( Rest of the stay was great, we keep choosing this place every time.

Reviewed Feb 12, 2026Restaurant is pure veg. No eggs also. Spread was minimal. Preparation was excellent. Room service excellent. Bathrooms were good. Good fittings and great showers. We had to take an early morning flight. There was no hot water at 4.30am. That I can understand.
