La Sinfonía del Rey Hotel & Spa

Our stay was amazing, from the location of the hotel being near the Old Quarter but also the view of Hoan Kiem lake, especially on the roof top bar. The room was comfortable and clean. Good breakfast selection with changes to some dishes daily. But the staff were extremely amazing, friendly and helpful, which what really made our time in Hanoi.

Not a dislike but a note for others that the interior window rooms are quite dark, so should be considered when booking.

Did not enjoy the massage! It was extremely rough and I had to stop the massage therapist as I felt bruised. The location was a bit further away from old town but it was a short grab so it’s not a bad thing but just something to be aware of if you enjoy walking to everything. It’s not really walkable to old town

Simply sensational. A true hidden gem. I booked for our anniversary and I have never known a team to show such care, quality and customer service. Honestly, what a hotel and what a team. I couldn't have asked for more.

Service is 5* the staff make you feel so welcome and make it a very personal experience. The room was spacious and well decorated along with the hotel lobby. It is my second time staying in a La Sinfonia hotel in Hanoi and it didn't disappoint. The location is amazing and couldn't be in a much better location if it tried. The views from the rooftop bar overlooking the lake are amazing. The beds are huge and incredibly comfy! Breakfast is also a 10/10 with buffet options as well as being able to order breakfast items from a menu to be cooked fresh. If we were to come back to Hanoi for a 3rd time it would be a no brainer to stay here again.

It isn't a dislike, but we booked a junior suite with a balcony thinking it would have space for chairs to sit and people watch and drink a coffee but unfortunately our room had a small balcony with no space for chairs only standing. We just wished that this would have been made clearer in the description otherwise we probably wouldn't have paid for the upgrade. The lighting in the room is a little dim and can be quite hard to see what you are doing, especially in the bathroom when it comes to skincare and make up. It also would have been handy to have a mirror above the desk in the room where there is better lighting.

There are many breakfast options, including Vietnamese, Chinese, Western, and Japanese styles! The restaurant is right by the lake, making it very convenient to explore the old town!

Room is small

The staff is super helpful and nice, the rooftop has a nice view with great finger food and good cocktails. The rooms are confortable and large. One of the best part of the experience is the Spa which has a very large offering and top notch quality.

The hotel was beautifully presented, clean throughout and the staff were wonderful. We had issues with our flights which meant we arrived a day early and first thing in the morning. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to provide our rooms a day early and even turned them over quickly so we could check in early and get some much needed rest. The rooms were clean and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The skybar was perfect for a drink after exploring the city or to start the evening off with a view. Breakfast was fresh and offered a wide selection to suit everyone in our group. Every member of staff we encountered from receptionists, bellboys, cleaning staff to the bar and restaurant staff were so amazingly friendly and helpful. Located right next to the lake in the Old Quarter meant that it was easy to get around the city to explore. We really can't fault this hotel and the staff that work here - thank you for a wonderful stay!

We booked this hotel because of its beautiful location. Our room was spacious and had a stunning lake view with balcony. The service of the staff is really great and helpful, and they respond very fast. We enjoyed the breakfast because of its variety and deliciousness. We highly recommend this hotel because it’s welcoming and located in the city center.

Everything right on your door step, the hotel located in the heart of the old quarter. The staff are friendly, helpful and respectful. Shout out to Trang who takes care of us since day one and Huy the guy who assisted us to the car when the road had been blocked on the weekend. The room has been taken good care of and comfy with the big bed. Our external window faces to the street but not noisy at all.

First time at Hanoi and stay here for 3 nights. A great location near attractive tourist place, local restaurant, cafe and also walking-street by the lake at weekends. Good hospitality and nice staff. The hotel has a wonderful scent, and also lobby has a very nice fragrance. Aromatherapy :)

We couldn’t have asked for a better location! The view of the lake was outstanding and we were in walking distance to the local attractions and restaurants. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and genuinely helpful. Special thanks to Henry, whose recommendations and chat in the mornings made our trip all the more special. Our room had a super view of the lake, the bed was big and comfortable and the room was cleaned quickly in the morning. I highly recommend this hotel and if I’m ever back in Hanoi, have no hesitation in staying here again.

Lovely Hotel, overlooking Lake. Staff all absolutely excellent. Special mention to Henry who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the attractions to see. Hotel booked two tours for us and both were fantastic. It is a beautiful Hotel and we would definitely stay again.

Everyone I met was just amazing - kind, hospitable, helpful, thoughtful - just amazing beautiful people! I even received a farewell present. I’m extremely grateful for the service. Location was perfect for all the things we needed to do, despite road closures for the weekend street markets. Zero noise issues! Amenities were great. The rooms were smaller, as expected, but still felt homely and clean and great value. My favourite part was the cold towels handed upon arrival (and every time I asked for it) - soooo good after a whole day of activities in the heat and humidity. Food was delish. I can’t think of anything else to say except thank you to the staff! Thank you!

Had a lovely stay here on our visit to Hanoi. Superb location with the lake on your doorstep and all the restaurants and shops you could need. Trang and Huy the hotel staff were very helpful during our stay. The room was lovely, big comfy bed, nice aircon the only little thing is the awkward shower in the bathtub. Just the way it is designed. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Hanoi

The location was perfectly placed in Hanoi, we never had to take a grab or feel like we had to walk for ages to go places. The atmosphere is pleasant as the hotel is well maintained, you’re always met by polite staff and the overall aesthetic is very nice. Our room was very nice and there was no sound leakage from the many other rooms of the hotel, and it came with a cute balcony and a neat bathroom. I’d definitely recommend for anyone staying in Hanoi.

Boutique hotel atmosphere that really goes above and beyond on friendly personalized service. Trang in particular was very helpful with navigation around the city, our first time there. Wonderful location in the old quarter, right near the lake, which means it’s part of the pedestrian’s only area on the weekend but also just a block away from cars if you need them. Breakfast buffet was exceptional and missed when we got back home. Everything was just really top notch. Would definitely recommend!

Sky bar gives a great view of the city lights at sunset. Highly recommend a stay here and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed one day at the Sinfonía hotel, and had an amazing experience. The location was perfect as we got to go for a lakeside walk around sunset. The way they greeted us with welcome drinks and snacks, the rooftop terrace, and the quality of the room all made this very memorable stay. We also highly recommend checking out the Hobbit Cafe (giao mua) 30 seconds walk from this hotel.

The staff was very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed and even gave us different tips for the city. The check-in and check-out went smoothly and we were greeted with welcoming drinks. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The location was perfect as we were near the center but it was still quiet in the evening. Also the skybar is amazing for sunsets.

Extremely conveniently located. We had almost no trouble walking from the hotel to the Old Quarters, alongside the nearby day tour pickup spots. Additionally, service exceeded all possible expectations. We were provided an entire Google Maps worth of Hanoi recommendations from our guest service manager. None of the recommendations ever disappointed - meaning that every dinner we had was absolutely on point. Atmosphere was warm, moody, with tinges of artistic flair with the paintings on the ceiling. Similarly, rooms were great, with no one having any trouble sleeping. Overall, this hotel is absolutely brilliant - and definitely worth staying in.

The best staff in the world!!! I will be telling everyone that the best place to stay in Hanoi is La Sinfonia del Rey. The location by the lake and on the cusp of the French and old quarter makes for a vibrant experience. The spa is incredibly affordable and the services on offer are perfect after a long day of sightseeing or flying. The hotel is clean, safe, the beds are comfortable, and most importantly the hotel is staffed by the kindest most hospitable people. The staff go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and taken care of. I have stayed in hotels all around the world but the La Sinfonia staff are exceptional and truly in a league of their own. Thank you for making our time in Hanoi so special

Top location in Hanoi, with the nice view of the lake and the most pleasant part, that the area next to hotel is closed for bikes, I guess the only place where y can enjoy a nice walk without crazy traffic! The service is top notch! One of the days I had a birthday and got a nice surprise, rose petals decoration on the bed. Definitely will stay here next time.

We thoroughly recommend La Sinfonia Del Ray. Helpful staff, comfortable room, great location beside the lake but 100 steps and in old quarter madness. Will stay again
