A wonderful hotel in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter! The location is perfect for exploring the city, with tour meeting points and major monuments easily accessible. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of lovely restaurants and cafés, and the main lake is just a short walk away. If you enjoy crêpes, make sure to visit **MCrepe** nearby — it is definitely worth trying! Our rooms were gorgeous, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully decorated, with great attention to detail and comfort. The hotel staff were brilliant, kind, and always supportive. The continental breakfast was also very nice. Overall, a lovely stay in a fantastic location. Highly recommended!

On the other hand, there were a couple of small drawbacks. The water in our VIP room was only lukewarm, which was a little disappointing. Also, the hotel only has a breakfast bar where guests can eat. The main restaurant is located in a separate building. This may be because we travelled during the low season, when fewer guests are staying and the hotel may close its in-house restaurant. Nevertheless, it would be helpful if this were made clear to guests in advance.

Overall, we had a good stay. The service was good, and the staff were professional and helpful. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was decent. The location was excellent and very convenient. The only downside was the noise coming from the upper floor, which disturbed us in the morning and prevented us from sleeping well. Hopefully, this can be addressed in the future. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay.

We were on the 8th floor and the restaurant was right above us on the 9th floor and unfortunately from 0630 onwards you can hear people dragging their chairs. So it was a bit hard to sleep in. It was actually really loud.

Breakfast was great! The staff were great! Everything was perfect! To top it off, the staff got takeaway boxes of food for us to eat when we left for the airport. That is such a lovely gesture that we cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Hanoi.

Honestly, one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had! The location is absolutely perfect – right in the heart of Hanoi, close to everything, but still very comfortable and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spotless, the beds are comfortable, and the food is amazing. Everything was just excellent from beginning to end. But the real reason I’m writing this review is the staff. They are what makes this place so special. Kim, in particular, is simply amazing. I genuinely can’t thank him enough for everything he did during my stay. He was incredibly kind, attentive and helpful, always checking that everything was perfect and always happy to help with anything I needed. You can tell immediately that he truly cares about the guests, and that made such a difference to my experience. Thank you Kim – you really made my stay in Hanoi unforgettable! And a huge thank you as well to Bella, Sarah, Rosa, Tom and Robert. Every single one of them was so warm, friendly and welcoming. It honestly felt like everyone went out of their way to make me feel at home. You can find a hotel with a great location, nice rooms and good food in many places, but finding a team of people like this is rare. That’s what makes La Passion special. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. If I come back to Hanoi, I already know where I’m staying. Thank you to the entire team for such an amazing experience. 10/10 ❤️

The only thing I would suggest improving is the in-room safe, as it is not secured to the wall or furniture, which unfortunately makes it less useful as a security feature.

這間飯店真的很不錯！早餐很好吃，整體住起來也很舒服。最喜歡的是這裡的工作人員，Bella、Rosa 和 Tom 都很親切，跟他們溝通起來很舒服。我們入住的時候剛好有一些事情需要處理，他們都沒有讓我們自己想辦法，而是很快就幫忙處理，真的很感謝！有機會再來的話會想再次入住。

The property was in a good location and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The property was a little below expectations, there were stains on the chair at the end of the bed, the shower grout was black, the shower blind had mould spots/ dirt on it, and the air conditioner didn’t work well so the room was too warm.

The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming! The amenities were great, and our favorite part was the breakfast service! A lot to choose from!

Everything was good, organised us a transfer, packed us a yunmy breakfast as we had to leave early, nice spacious room, great bathroom, lovely receptionist.

Bed could have been softer, promised us a coffee in the morning but didnt deliver.

Location was great, it is right at the heart of old city. The staff was very kind and helpful. Room was clean and bigger than my expectations.

Unfortunately the breakfast was below average. Only one type of cheese was provided. Choises were limited. Coffe was very dark brewed.

The hotel is in a nice location, very close to Hoan Kiem Lake and the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre. Everything is within walking distance, making it easy and safe to explore the surrounding area. I really appreciated that the hotel staff contacted me shortly after my booking and provided useful information, including suggestions for trips and activities. It was also convenient to have someone I could easily contact if I had any questions. The room was comfortable, and I had everything I needed for my short stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and polite. Thanks to Belle, Robert, Sarah, Tom, and all the staff for making my stay so smooth and pleasant.

The staff were exceptional! The service they provided made me want to extend my stay, but unfortunately, I couldn’t due to there being no availability. Robert and Tom made sure all of my requests were taken care of, and Sarah provided truly outstanding service. She went above and beyond, even in areas that weren’t necessarily her responsibility. Their attentiveness, kindness, and professionalism made my stay enjoyable, comfortable, and completely stress-free. My room was divine—comfortable, spacious, and beautifully appointed. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Thank you all for making my stay such a wonderful experience. I would definitely love to return!

The breakfast could have been much better. I would also recommend clearly labelling the different dishes, particularly to identify ingredients that may be relevant to guests with allergies or dietary requirements. Clearer labelling would also simply help guests know what each dish is and make it easier to choose what they would like.

有一點點美中不足的是，我們住三個晚上就換了三間房間，因為第一晚的房間洗完澡，浴室的水滲漏到房間裡面，緊急換了房間後，房間的浴室裡沒有吹風機可以使用，最後換到第三間房間才沒有問題。

Le camere sono un po meno belle di quello che si vede nelle foto, ma comunque perfette. La colazione era normale, apprezzabilissima, si potrebbe migliorare un pochino.

The hotel and my room was so good everything was perfect from my first day to the last day , it was so clean so quiet and so cozy and beautiful , I’ll definitely come back here next time . All the staff were so helpful and very friendly Sarah and tom they were so sweet for helping me to scale my luggage before I go out and they helped me to balance it . And Robert he borrowed me his helmet for the whole day he’s so nice for doing that .
