Comfort Inn Chatham

Very nice room. Staff was very nice. Breakfast had everything you could imagine and was very good.

We didn’t care for the utensils that were wooden. Would have preferred plastic.

I have mobility issues (not disabled but not easy to climb stairs) and we requested 2 queen beds near the elevator or on main floor. We were given the wrong room with a king size bed and pull out couch. We were switched to a room with 2 queen sized beds but it was at the far end of the hotel on the main floor away from the front lobby and breakfast area so it required a long walk. The gentleman at the front desk was able to switch to this room but we had to show our emails to prove we had requested a room for my mobility. This was one of four hotels we stayed in on this driving vacation. It was not as nice and modern as some of the other hotels for the same price.

Being so far from the breakfast area. The parking area and entering/exiting the hotel parking was layed out a bit strange.

The breakfast was lackluster. During checkin we prepaid and when we arrived was asked for a credit card. Would have been nice to be explained that one needed to be held on file for deposit? Also I noticed there was a double charge on the account.

The breakfast and lack of elevator. We had a lot of luggage to tote up the steps. Also there wasn’t many outlets to charge devices in either.

Easy to access and a great Restaurant just across the street - Teena’s.

The Mobil gas station across the street tried to scam me out of $180.33 (USD) on a less than 20 liter fill up that should have been $33.49 (USD) Fortunately I caught it and after confronting him, the charge “magically” disappeared. Be aware !

Staff, comfortable

The breakfast. The hard-boiled egg was rubbery. The scrambled eggs were on the white side. Didn’t even look like a good quality egg substitute and the sausage wasn’t cooked enough. The rest of the breakfast was fine.

Great location and loved the comfy sleep we experienced. It was very quiet and I liked the excess to the parking lot on the lower level. Super convenient for my son and I.

The only issue with the room was the shower head. It wasn't working effectively on first attempt and when turned off, and on again, the water pressure was somewhat better. That would be the only issue during our stay.

Breakfast was just okay- no gluten free choices for one of our party. Property is in need of a refresh. Dog barking a lot of the night made for a restless sleep.

Stayed here before. On Courtside bottom . Those rooms appeared better.

We booked Courtside but we were given 2nd floor . It was changed . Great. There was a musty smell in room . And a few little bugs . Kinda bothered me.

This place is great. Great service, clean and basic.

I will never use booking.com again. I stayed at a different place and paid for two days and had to cancel one day. Booking.com has avoided my requests for reimbursement for almost a month. The app is configured in such a way to make it extremely difficult and time consuming to get any kind of help from them. They are simply...useless. Call the motel directly for superior service, AVOID USING BOOKING.COM....

Although there were no bed bugs when we checked between mattress and box springs, it was not clean

The hotel, was clean. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. I like the Kriug coffee machine in the room. The breakfast was good, i like that they have tea, coffee and water out all day.

The hotel is a bit outdate. They still have carpeting on the floors in the rooms, I’m not a fan of this.

The location easy to find

I found it concerning that nobody was in the hotel and the water had a smell when you would shower and the water in the front entrance didn't taste good

Pillows had no substance, too thin. Body gel dispenser was empty. Shampoo dispenser has black mould around the rim and had hairs on it.

Talk to your cleaning staff. They shouldn't be walking into rooms before check out time. Next time? It will be their problem. A big problem.

The staff was very friendly and the desk clerk helped carry my suitcase up to the second floor since I had a number of other things in my arms and they didn't have an elevator. The room was clean and very comfortable. The location was near the main road where I was traveling, so it was convenient for a one night stop.

I appreciated the Big comfy bed, patio door and the great water pressure in the shower. Complementary breakfast had plenty to choose from hot and cold. I would stay again.

Our room had no sheer curtain on patio door. Only heavy drapery. Minor issue but being on ground level I would prefer not to have my room fully visible by anyone walking by.
