Location from the 401 was convenient. The room was a generous size and the beds were comfortable. The coffee in the morning at the office was delicious.

Unfortunately, the hotel is under major renovations, with one wing of the rooms closed off but sharing a stairwell with the rooms currently being rented out. It was a bit chaotic finding the reception desk, and then the sidewalks and entrance way was covered with tarps to keep the sidewalks from getting paint/cement on them. The stairway was really a mess with dust and debris everywhere..... We didn't realize the place was under such complete renovations, so it was a bit of a shock. It will be so lovely once it's done!

NEVER TOLD ABOUT RENOVATIONS THE AMOUNT THEY ARE DOING. THERE WAS PROPPED UP DOORS WHICH WAS CAUSE OF SECURITY AND CONSTRUCTION STUFF ALL OVER. The fire alarm with very loud sound started every day at night and created a panic situation… the hotel should stop taking bookings because of their renovations going on. Very bad experience

Property is under construction. Felt like I was entering a city that had been hit by a bomb. Exposed wiring, missing smoke alarm, no isolation from areas under construction, construction workers using equipment at 715 am in morning. This property should not be open while under construction

Under construction, not informed when booking was made. Upon check-in was told noise wouldn't be heard in room. Was woken up by workers hammering and jack hammer on 2 of 3 days stay. Breakfast which was included in price, not as described in ad. Received a bag with a juice, a banana and a granola bar. House phone not working. Had to get fresh towels from reception desk, even though I requested it from the housekeeping staff. Garbage left outside my door, wasn't picked up. Request to discuss with manager, was told he would be in the next morning. Morning came and was told manager wouldn't be in for another 2 days. Not impressed. Called head office to lodge a complaint, they opened a file and forwarded it to customer relations. As of now this is where it sits.

Very bad customer service .complete hassle. Dirty dusty rooms like haunted place on top of it employees .horrible experience.

Heavily under construction, no warning about that when booking, room had mold and dirt all over the walls. Couldn’t use air conditioner as it was blocked off. Only 2 small towels for 4 people to shower.

I was not aware that the entire building is under major renovations. It felt odd. but other than that, the location is very close to gas stations, restaurants and 401.

Because of renovations breakfast was provided in a paper bag.

Nothing its under renovations everything is tore apart. There was no outdoor swimming pool and no continental breakfast but I blame that on you booking.com because you don’t have that in your ad so shame on you.

It’s not them I don’t like it’s you guys for not putting it in your ad and stating that it’s under construction the outdoor pool is closed. There’s no continental breakfast there’s 50,000 construction workers all over the place so shame on you. It’ll be a long time before I book through booking.com again.

L'établissement était en rénovation majeure et nous en a pas informé. Problème de serrure n'a pu être résolu malgré les essais répétés du personnel. Pas de petit déjeuner sinon une collation par manque d'installation.

La chambre était correcte, propre. Les lieux publiques étaient très sales. Oui, il y avait des rénovations, mais les lieux accessibles aux clients n'étaient pas propre du tout. Il serait mieux de fermer l'établissement; faire toutes les rénovations rapidement et réouvrir. Oh, le déjeuner continental était très maigre - peu de fruit déjà trop mur; peu de choix de paix/bagels.

La chambre était bien propre. Bravo à l'équipe de ménage !

There was no warning by Booking.com about the state of the hotel due to active construction.

La proximité des lieux aux endroits que j'ai fréquenté. Le prix. Le personnel était accueillant et sympatique. Le déjeuner compris semblait acceptable, mais nous l'avons seulement observer comme nous avons déjeuner ailleurs.

Chambre malpropre. Douche avec moisissure, rideau de douche sale, planchers de la chambre collants, litterie tâchée, ambiamce des lieux non invitant.

It was just off the highway and close enough to walk to many restaurants.

Strange that all the TV remotes were missing from the rooms. The reaction from staff was not surprised. Staff came up to our room with 2 remotes either worked. When we asked our friends in a different room they also didn't have a remote. The swimming pool was not usable.

Nothing to like since the property was under renovation and not healthy enough to spend a vacation stay.

Under renovation and has not provided the correct and current update to stakeholders.

There was very little to like about this place.

The whole place gave a strong feeling of neglect. The main areas were dirty. I think renovation was under way. The pool was not in use, the breakfast area was not in use. The “breakfast included” at reservation was just a grab and go paper bag lunch bag with a yogurt, juice and low end granola bar and coffee.

The room was on the main floor easily accessible from parked car. The fridge and microwave was a bonus. First day the tea coffee were well stocked but next day we didn’t have cups for our tea . Free breakfast from 7am was a great addition. Lots of shops and shopping facility within walking distance - less than 10 minute walk. The front desk staff were very nice especially the girls

There was a musty smell in the room when we entered, coffee pot was not cleaned properly- I did it. The main entry door towards our room is manual- the disability entrance button does not work.

There was nothing that I enjoyed. I enjoyed that I was able to get a refund.

That place place is a dilapitated sess pool of disease, it should not be in business. It is a rotting building building, with filth everywhere, how anyone could keep this place open is beyond comprehension, It should be condemned. Do not stay here.

Cet hôtel j'y allais depuis un certain nombre d'années, quand c'était un Days INN. Ce que j'aime c'est la proximité.

J'ai ouvert la TV, il y avait juste 3 chaines médiocres. Je voulais regarder la coupe du monde, mais pas de câble. C'est inadmissible qu'il n'y ait pas de chaines câblées ou satellite. Il y avait de la saleté par terre, comme si on n'avait pas passé la balayeuse ou l'aspirateur, ni la vadrouille. Il y avait des cheveux dans la salle de bain. La toile de la piscine est détruite, donc pas de piscine fonctionnelle.

Hallways were not clean. Definitely needs an update. Cracks in the ceiling in our room and on the bathroom tiles. We stayed over a long weekend. One morning there was barely anything for breakfast and nobody refilling things.

Price was good , location was good.

Floors were dirty, bathrooms need update, tub did not drain while showering, hallway carpet was gross as were some of the vinyl floors in the hallways. The place needs serious help on the exterior.

Was in need of renovations... very run down. Bad smell in the hall. Workers on the roof...could hear the hammering. Remote for TV didn't work, towel racks had been removed. I think they were getting ready to paint. They should have fixed everything before they rented.

Also, it was not possible to open the window in the room. The heater was a bit loud and the hallway of the hotel had an odd smell. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Our room was not the cleanest; Air conditioning was distractingly dirty; 2 hours in room I felt like I don’t have anything to breath, completely out of air and windows don’t open on the 2nd floor. To find out, the air exchange system was completely off and broken switch, had to get creative to get it working. I have asthma so it was a really big health issue for me. Also, we came back around 12am and there was mess and badly smell liquid at the halfway, we tried to go to breakfast at 7:30 and the mess was still there. No one could not clean it in 7 hours?????. Pay $50 extra and stay at the hotel across the street. Exactly what we will do on the next road trip.

I didn't get my deposit back it's been 5 days know.

Lots of bugs in the room and only 1 out of 4 lights worked in the room.

We booked on Expedia and they couldn’t find our reservation but they were able to put us in the room we booked no problem. Very friendly staff

This property transitioned from Days Inn to potentially Quality Inn on July 1, 2025. It is currently going through a significant retrofit of the entire complex. The portions that are finished are quite spectacular and bode well for the large amount of work that still needs to be completed. We were more than satisfied with our stay in the renovated room provided to us and also with the complimentary delicious and varied breakfast.

No longer the days inn , now the Regal Inn , Website pictures are deceiving & need to be updated ,pool closed , room did not get cleaned for our entire stay (3 nights ).One Positive , breakfast was good.

The Days Inn by Wyndham does not exist in Brockville. The hotel is now called Regent. And they did not have my reservation in their system.You should be embarrassed that you are promoting a hotel that doesn't exist. You are completely disconnected.How often do these screwups occur at Expedia. I play to book direct and avoid these situations in the future.

We booked for an overnight stay, but cancelled several hours before arriving after my wife read the reviews. Many noted bed bugs, fleas and generally unclean sheets etc. We are not going to stay at a hotel with bed bugs and then bring those nasties home, only to have an infestation at our home and a $5000 fee to mitigate those bed bugs. No thank you. We appealed for a refund but they didn't refund our non-refundable payment, which we knew about, but under the circumstances, who would stay in a place with bed bugs. Never again!!

Location is great, nice parking and hot breakfast. Rooms were ok and they were clean.

Pool was closed and waffles not that good. Weekend and cleaning staff unaware at all of what was going on with the pool.

I probably use 30 rooms a year. I know what I am saying. Our reservation for a queen size bed was given away. Check in , which usually takes 5 to 10 minutes took 22 minutes.?? Clerk had difficulty The exterior of the property is very tired......parking areas in poor condition The maid had left the remains of the last occupier use of coffee machine ... not clean. The wall paper near the air unit was peeling off. The buttons for the heat / AC were grimy...quite dirty. For $250..I would expect a lot more. My estimate is the room was worth $80.... $100 with tax

The pool was closed with no explanation, hallways were stinky and HOT, our door keys did not work so front desk had to let us in. The whole locking system was broken on our room. We couldn’t come and go.

Hotel and my room was very clean, breakfeast was great, as where the staff who delivred ice to my room when i called to mention there was no ice bucket.the hotel is a little dated but this keeps costs low and gets passed on to customers/I have stayed a dozen or so hotels in the last 2years an this was by far my best experience/Convenienlty loated on the hiway 401 its close to kingston gannanoque smith falls so its a great hub, at a good price compared to hotesl in kingston of less qualtiy

Convient off the 401 with lots of parking. I arrived 20 minutes early but no way was i allowed in. Whole facilities were clean but very dated. And expensive, maybe not for that area, but still.
