Clean rooms, good location easy to find, Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet- good for sleeping.

The breakfast was not as good as other Holiday Inns. Poor selection of food items. Breads were dry, I would have preferred condiments in individual packets.Squirt bottles were messy and inconvenient,

Staff was wonderful. Room clean. Other guests noises did not affect us.

Elevator was a little scary the way it shook and made noises. The bed was very uncomfortable, which was surprising.

Zimmerkarte funktionierte immer wieder nicht, in 2 Tagen 4x an der Rezeption gewesen. Konnten keine Rechnung ausgedrucken und meine Mailadresse wollte die Dame nicht aufschreiben, sollte mich an Booking.com wenden. Das geht gar nicht, schlechter Service.

Holiday Inn and Suites Brockville is a lovely place to stay. The staff is helpful and friendly and our room was spacious and tidy. We recommend this to fellow travelers.

Elevator filthy, and rooms could use a closer going over. Ledges and baseboards were not clean. Soap scum in tub and toilet bowl wasn’t under rim. Rate on booking.com was significantly higher than hotel rate

Two things we look for when travelling- ease highway access buf quiet location as well. Location is also great as there are a number of restaurants (steakhouse and a Mexican) as well as several fast food (pita, pizza, KFC) within walking distance. We were upgraded to a room with s tub on the 4th floor. Usual HIE breakfast but cinnamon buns appeared to be much smaller than usual. We had been staying at several HIE hotels in USA and we're pleased to discover that Canadian hotels still have Keurig coffee makers in room without having to request one.

Everything was great

Great breakfast (eggs, sausage, potatoes, baked goods, bread and bagels, cereal, yogurt, pancakes, cinnamon buns, juice, tea, coffee, and more), friendly staff, very clean. Didn't use it but loved that there was a pool and fitness centre.

The room keys were very glitchy and my friend woke us up at 1:30 AM because he couldn't get in. 3 times during our 1 night stay we had to replace our key because it wouldn't work, twice at 1:30 AM. Also, the front doors closed at 11 PM-6 AM and no one told us this at check-in. There was an piece of printer paper posted beside the door informing guests to use the side doors, but we had left before 11 PM so we had no idea.

Breakfast was better than expected. The room was large with a lots of storage and very comfortable beds.

It was in a quiet place but still close to a shopping area and the hwy making access super easy . The staff was super friendly and as I’m on a bicycle tour they allowed me to keep the bicycle in the room.

The breakfast was too basic and many things quickly ran out. The floors were a bit dirty in the breakfast area towards the lobby and elevators.

There was no hot water in my hotel room, could not shower. Breakfast wasnt stocked, no coffee, food options were limited.

Nothing. When I showed up I was told you (booking.com) had cancelled my stay and there was no room for me. I drove from north Sidney nova Scotia to there and was exhausted. I asked what I was supposed to do and the front counter person just shrugged his shoulders. So after my 16 hour drive I had to get back in my truck and drive 5 more hours home. Safety first I guess. I told them I didn’t get a cancelation notice from you and they insisted booking.com had canceled my stay. I would like my money returned to my visa. ASAP!!!!!! I’m not paying interest on incompetence on other peoples questionable stories.

Read the other report. I would like an answer to my problem.also I want Notification when I will have my money back. This was completely unacceptable. If it was the front desk problem, then they should be reprimanded for their lack of common sense.

Exceptional staff, the hotel is very close to Highway 401, very convenient for travellers. Very good breakfast.

The property was very clean, I liked that the bathroom actually had room to move, the water pressure was great and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast, which was included, had an assortment of options both hot and cold, which was a pleasant change from other hotels. I would definitely return.

The only issue was that our room was adjacent to the highway, so quite noisy. If you’re a light sleeper, it would be wise to ask for a room on the opposite side.

Place was clean and staff were friendly.

I was not informed of renovations. We had only HOT water so I was unable to shower before my event. They said they would send maintenance but no one came. Breakfast was a disappointment as they had nothing hot because of renovations. I've stayed at plenty Holiday Inn Express and chose this because of my past experiences but this one was very disappointing. To pay $180 for 1 night and not even able to shower when needed is crazy.

Breakfast terrible. Lobby was being renovated, but I wasn’t aware of this until after I had paid for the reservation. Breakfast in temporary facilities and really disappointing. One morning they didn’t bring washcloths to my room when they changed towels. I went that afternoon to ask for them. They said they would send them up and they didn’t so, I had to ask again the next day. Two mornings did not receive K cups for coffee maker. Second day went down to ask for them and they didn’t have any. Overall a disappointing stay. I had stayed at this hotel three years ago and it was much much better. I don’t think I’ll return.

Despite the fact it was under renovation, the rooms and everything was very clean and fresh.

Our room faced the highway, it was very noisy. However, we would definitely stay here again, but just request a room on the north side of the bulking.

I stayed for a single night while in the area on business. This property is easy to find and is close to the 401. There seems to be plenty of parking and there are restaurants, gas stations, etc. close by. Check in was quick and very friendly. The hotel is "typical HIE" which is fine. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Everything worked well and I only have two complaints. Bathroom lighting wasn't great and the bed seems worn out and saggy. I would definitely stay here again despite the two minor issues.

It is very close to the highway, the King size bed was super comfy. Large screen TV the room was clean and the Breakfast was delicious!

Was a bit loud being so close to the highway, once get used to it, it was fine.

I couldn’t stay there so I can’t say. The lady called a couple of other hotels to see if there were any opens which there weren’t.

I drove 3 hours to this hotel for a hockey tournament and even though I had booked my room 2 months earlier the hotel overbooked the rooms and was full when I arrived. I told her I had a confirmed reservation through booking.com, but she said that didn’t matter and everyone has that. I didn’t get a call, nothing. I don’t know what to say.

The room was too noisy, noise from the highway. The shower was blocked. After showering water stood in the tub and drained very gradually leaving the soap scum residue inside.

I booked a room directly with this hotel in September 2025, five months ahead of my planned stay in January 2026. We were travelling for an event with other families. About a week before the event, other families start getting calls saying the hotel is overbooked and they are being moved to the Hampton Inn nearby. We hear nothing until 4 days before we are supposed to arrive and then get an email saying that we have been moved to the Quality Inn, which it turns out is in Prescott. No information on what type of room they booked, what it costs or anything else pertinent to allow us to make a decision on what to do. Also no explanation as to why a reservation made 5 months earlier is bumped in favour of other bookings. Based on our experience and that of the other families, I can say that this hotel engages in completely unacceptable business practices. I would strongly suggest avoiding it altogether.

AC in the room was not working properly. Maintenance never showed up. TV in sitting area did not have cable. TV instructions were incorrect. Only one ice machine in the entire building. No one answered the phone at the front desk. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. No light in the fridge/coffee area of the room. We were told an incorrect time for breakfast. The floor of the tub was slimy and slippery. Excessive noise from the highway. At breakfast, the juice dispenser was difficult to work; the pancake machine was not operating properly. Many of these issues were brought up to the front desk attendant but nothing was resolved. All we were given was excuses.

Smart TV was a plus as I was able to steam my shows off my own account. However you should have a clear button on the tv so the guest can reset and disconnect their accounts. It took me a while to figure it out. Breakfast was great! Great coffee too! Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Pool was closed but I was happy that I was called and informed about it before my stay. Rooms are a bit too minimalist but they were very clean so that balanced it out a bit.

The breakfest was fresh and hot and the house keeping were attentive and friendly when asked for extra towels when we ran out.

The desk person durning check out was less than helpful! didn’t seem to wanna be bothered or engaging in small talk and pleasantries well exchanging key cards and money, also the bathroom tub was peeling and had water in the tub liner.
