The girl at the reception Kamili was very friendly and helpful, ensuring my check in was smooth and worry free.

The rooms are not sound proof and I could hear the people on the corridor walking past while shouting and laughing in the middle of the night.

Property was clean and very good value. Staff were great especially Khadija at reception who was wonderful!

Hotel itself was good

The noise above our room was awful stomping around till gone midnight then started at 4.30 in the morning till gone 9 so we got hardly any sleep

Easy access to where we wanted to go

We were particularly impressed with the restaurant. The food was delicious, given that this is a travel hotel. Bed was very comfy too.

Room was a reasonable size, good sized TV. Powerful shower, beds very comfortable - ideal for a short stay. Spacious bar with a good selection of drinks. Although didn't book or want breakfast, was offered a complementary coffee from breakfast area which was nice.

Very busy check-in area when we arrived - a coach had just arrived. Extra bed was not setup on arrival but was promptly resolved. Long walk to the room, some public areas a little tatty.

Very large comfy bed. Apart from a very small bathroom accommodation was spacious and comfortable with an excellent tv.

When we got there in our small motorhome, having already made a reservation, we couldn't enter the car park as we couldn't fit under the height barrier. Eventually a staff member turned up but insisted we weren't allowed in because the policy was to disallow caravans. More delay ensued as they established we had a booking and grudgingly lifted the barrier. After a long journey back from Spain via Portsmouth this was infuriating and most unwelcoming. Fortunately they decided not to charge the £7.50 parking fee which we appreciated but the episode was very upsetting.

Nice hotel on the edge of town and easy to get to as the name suggests! Very clean rooms and friendly staff. The restaurant was good as well, we turned up quite late in the evening but the staff were still very friendly and helpful. Very good value overall.

Really well connected, calm building, very helpful staff.

Comfortable and spacious room. Paid extra for breakfast, plenty of choice and all you could eat. The staff were friendly especially the chap on the desk at breakfast.

The waiters was too quick to clear the table, didn't wait for everyone to finish and asked if we were finished with plates before we had finished eating.

The staff is exceptionally friendly, kind, and always ready to help or share local recommendations🩷 The breakfast is awesome, the rooms are spotless and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi is reliable and fast. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Reading.

The location was great. The friddge in the room was great. The room was standard nothing special.

The staff were miserable.Nobody was smiling -even receptionist! We paid extra for breakfast which was too busy, we didnt even get knoves and forks- we had to help ourselves after getting food and told our table would br set up whilst we ere gone!! it was chaos and badly managed. none of the staff were communicating with each other about clearing tables etc . everyone was just doing their own thing. The food couldnt be replensished in a timely manner so you were waiting for ages. I wish I had not bothered.

Ample parking.

The hotel doesn't have any lifts, so had to change room to ground floor. It was like a maze, had to walk a lot to get to room. Breakfast was not good not much options. I have disabled badge, however parking became free only after giving a good review on Google, which i found a bit strange.

it looked as if they were rationing the milk, tea, coffee and sugar so that if I needed an extra cup, I had to go and ask also wanted a room with a view which I thought will be on the 1st floor or higher but got a ground floor room with limited view also needed to get something that slipped under the bed, didn’t feel it had been cleaned.

Old carpets, absence of safe to lock important things in - in standard rooms. They failed to get me even a rented one . I had to leave my laptop at the reception. I had to move around with money. I Africa holiday inn offers better. Extractor fan system did not work the normal way so the mirror would steam up when taking a bath. Also smells would take long before leaving the toilet. Failure to provide refrigerators in standard rooms. Holiday inn SA has these things Failure to provide bottled water and requesting we get from restaurant was disturbing

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Servicekräfte. Grosses und gut klimatisiertes Zimmer. Alles war sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Das Frühstücksbuffet bat eine große Auswahl an Speisen und wurde schnell aufgefüllt. Abends konnte man gemütlich in Lobby sitzen und auch etwas zum Essen bestellen.

Teppiche in den Fluren sollten dringend getauscht oder gereinigt werden. Eine freundlichere Gestaltung der Flure insgesamt würde den Eindruck vom Hotel aufwerten. Das Bad ist schon sehr klein, eine Dusche wäre platzsparender.

Convenient location for our trip to Legoland the next day. Breakfast was very good.

Air con was poor so spent most of the night sweating and not sleeping. Very noisy, could hear every noise and movement from other guests whether it was next door, in the corridor or above.

When checking out Sulyman was very attentive to us and my son, surprising him with a colouring picture, then crayons, then a bag of sweets, my son was amazed. The engagement with my son was wonderful and very welcoming, he made my sons morning, with his youthful memes and phrases and he was very kind to us during breakfast. He defiantly went above and beyond with his service, it was definitely the most pleasurable part of the stay, thankyou Sulyman! Staff upon checking in and out were lovely and very helpful with parking. Beds were comfortable.

How quiet it was in our room

We stayed 4 nights and went out every day in our car, I was always finding nails/screws on the ground, I can only assume theye were from the trades vans as there were a lot of them, I hope that visitors were not getting punctures from this.

Stayed here on a business trip, as i have done many times. The first night, there was an issue with the air conditioning in the room, however, the staff sorted it out straight away for me, they were very helpful. Suleyman was a star as always!

Der Check-In verlief schnell und problemlos, das Personal an der Rezeption war jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch bei den vielen Fragen, die ich hatte. Das Zimmer war recht groß und hatte genug Stauraum für drei Personen. Auch die Größe des Bades war ausreichend. Der Zimmerservice hat jeden Tag zuverlässig die Betten gemacht. Wir hatten Halbpension bestellt, das Frühstücksangebot war wirklich gut und lecker, die Auswahl war mehr als genug. Der Mitarbeiter, der morgens die Tische beim Frühstück eingeteilt hat, hat unserem Kind jeden Tag ein Lächeln aufs Gesicht gezaubert. Ebenso gut war das dreigängige Abendessen. Man konnte sich etwas von der Karte aussuchen, nur vereinzelte Gerichte sowie Getränke mussten zusätzlich bezahlt werden. Die Busanbindung ist gut, sowohl in die Innenstadt als auch eine weitere Zugfahrt nach London, Oxford, etc. Die Autobahnauffahrt ist schnell erreichbar. Direkt gegenüber des Hotels ist ein Lidl, den man fußläufig erreichen und zum Einkaufen nutzen kann, auch ein Burger King ist in der Nähe. Auch der Check-Out funktionierte problemlos. Wir würden noch einmal wiederkommen, falls wir in der Nähe sind.

Es war leider wirklich sehr hellhörig. Über uns im Zimmer waren vermutlich Kinder, die lange am Abend und auch morgens früh durchs Zimmer liefen. Es hat uns nicht unbedingt gestört, aber man hat es definitiv wahrgenommen. Zudem hoffe ich, dass mit dem Parken alles geklappt hat. Die Schilder waren nicht wirklich eindeutig.

Price was right. Location perfect. Had a gym.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly . Hotel in good position, close to M4. Use it the night before a visit to Legoland only 35mins away and a lot cheaper than staying near legoland.

Clean comfortable rooms, great breakfast and made even better with suleyman who was great with the kids, making them laugh during breakfast, fun entertainment thank you for making their stay even better!

Here at the holiday Inn for a few days. I’ve met Suleyman, Buddha and Calista. Such lovely people who have made my stay so far quite warm and exciting. Thank you.

Breakfasts great. Rooms clean and tidy and the WIFI is OK one you go through the Captive portal process.

The reception staff are extremely incompetent. Name is Sami. Asked for an invoice to my business account, which I reserved and booked the room through. They cant provide a simple invoice to my business and the address. Appalling service. Asked to speak with a Manager, but a Manager isnt available yet!!

Brilliant front of house great food

It was a lovely experience, room was very nice with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely consider come back.

Fantastic service, the man (solemn) that helped us during breakfast was amazing with our kids, the lady at the front desk was patient and helpful.

Excellent stay! We stayed here to drive to Wembley stadium the next day for a concert. The drive to the concert was around 55 minutes. Absolutely perfect location for us. Great room, great parking and also Lidl, Burger King, Nando’s and fuel station really close by. Anytime we book for a concert in Wembley we will be staying here. Staff also friendly and accommodating. We also had the breakfast which was very good. 10/10 score

Staff was marvelous, very polite, attentive and kind, especially with the kids. The breakfast was very good and had quite a bit of variety. The location was convenient for us, with parking and everything. The room was spacious. Good value for money.

Blown Away by the service from this hotel in Reading. Can’t do enough to make you happy. I had a small issue with my room and they moved me happily. It feels like home away from home and I’m always made to feel welcome.

The room was comfortable, clean and the bed was huge. The shower was modern with lovely body wash and shampoo provided. The check on arrival was speedy and helpful, especially Alistair took the time to check us in and explain everything details of the restaurant etc The staff in the restaurant were very attentive and quick to sort out the problems we had. The hotel was open, spacious and well positioned in relation to the M4 and Reading itself.

Food in the restaurant. Obviously only sampled two main courses but felt the standard was quite poor. We were however asked by the waiting staff about this and they attempted to put the problem right immediately.
