We had sand everywhere on the floors and bathroom, nobody ever came to vacuum. It’s fine, no big deal. But I do wish someone could’ve came to vacuum

The breakfast was delicious and staff very friendly. The bartender Alec was very personable and new our names by the 2nd day. Actually all of them was awsome

It was ok but for what I paid 629.00 it was not worth it to me, I asked for a ocean front room a months time in advance an I did not get it

Clean facilities... nice staff Great food and drinks! Loved the refrigerator (nice size with freezer) did not need ice beverages stayed cold and cabinets to put up snacks.

The breakfast every morning was amazing and very convenient. We enjoyed the breakfast daily and the staff at breakfast made it amazing! They were so friendly and always smiling!

Sometimes you can’t find a parking place when you leave and return later. Also, the parking deck was closed during our entire stay.

The property is on the beach! The staff were more than helpful. Luis is a very dependable employee and has a very pleasant attitude . As for the outside bar, Phillips ( his last name…I don’t remember his first name) also has Avery pleasant attitude and was very helpful.

The facilities are disgusting, not well kept at all. For $550 a night in my city I would be in a luxury hotel with a bell hop to carry my luggage and a fine dining meal experience. Only one elevator worked the entire time, no ice in ice machines, building is falling apart. I was there for 3 nights and only got a knock on the door once from housekeeping for more towels, the balcony door was so hard to open I threw my back out. Definitely overpriced, this hotel would be $100 a night in okc and would be in the bad parts of the city. Do better sheraton

Being on the first floor. Location of the room balcony view is block and not the best for short children. Also looking at the roof was not a good view based on what I thought I was paying for.

Every employee I interacted with went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I wanted. The chef came to our table and asked if everything was good. The breakfast is amazing and always fresh. The food at the Upper Deck was wonderful. We ate on property because it was so good and the employees are so wonderful. The beach is clean and not crowded. Highly recommend for location, facilities and the attention to detail from the staff.

Very middle class resort feel, loved all the food and onsite things to do, the 2 pools and hot tub. The outdoor space is done beautifully. Quick access to the beach with 3 showers to wash off after.

Wasn't told about the $200 deposit up front. I was just coldly directed to enter my card- explanation was offered after the fact. Traffic due to ongoing major construction

I am not really sure why some people leave bad reviews for this hotel. The service has been very friendly, the rooms are clean and renovated, and you can beat the location! I would 100% recommend the hotel to friends and family. If people expect a 5 star hotel, go elsewhere but we were 100% happy with our stay.

It took forever for simple requests such as more towels or hand soap to be fulfilled. There was watered down soap, no hair dryer and housekeeping never cleaned the room once. The place is also not up to expectations for what was paid and for being a Marriott. It was a major disappointment.

As an international traveler that use to work for Marriott I must sadly say this hotel is not living up to the basic standards and has instead decided to engage in predatory billing practices. We had come to this location for the national dance competition as a family trip. While i totally understand having that many kids in one location can be stressful on any venue there are things that happened that should not have ever happen. Corporate should look into the management as their actions and oversight will directly hurt this location. While we appreciate the smoke free environment and the measures that they take to ensure that for guest they are not maintaining the system correctly. We personally witness not only ourselves but every family being charged a smoking fee of $400 in there rooms. While these meters are new to the industry and require monthly calibration and constant oversight. This is not being done. Fair warning to any future travelers. These new meters can be triggered by something as simple as hair dryers and shower steam over 30 day period and make them trigger for every guest if not cleaned and maintain correctly. When presented with the charge we offers to go to the room with the manager to evaluate the meter and confirm their was no smoking. Instead of handling this manner in a professional manner which was all we asked he instead proceeded to inform me that is was my 12 year old daughter and she is probably lying to me. We could take it up with our credit card company. While a one off is totally understandable we personally witnessed the same exact interaction to almost every parent with the same responses from management. This predatory pattern witnessed makes me question integrity of this location. What steps are they taking to ensure housekeeping is not vaping in our rooms. Did they clean the meters after our stay or leave it go off again for the next guest. Are they just targeting groups for easy fees. Did they actually clean the rooms after the made up charges or just throw another unknowing family in there and hit them with the charges as well. Also we attempted to eat at this location and were basically ignored for 45 minutes trying to get a simple Non alcoholic drinks. Of the families from the event that did manage to get food everyone ended up sick. Please be cautious of traveling to this location and the please keep an your credit cards. Marriott please look into this location as things happening that are not right.

Breakfast was awesome, and just next door is the aquarium. Again Awesome, just to get up and walk to beach. My wife was in heaven :)

Well they could fix the entrance where it is easier to see. Other than that all is well.

It was amazing , the whole stay

It was close to the pier. The beach was not very busy at this location. It was a very clean hotel

Some of the bar tenders were slow and not very friendly. One day at the outdoor bar we stood in line for 20 minutes and the bar tenders never acknowledged us and it was not that busy. He was slow and acted like he did not want to be there. So we left that day and went to the pier to get a drink. There was no music at the pool. The pool did not have a “vacation vibe.” You could hear the music from the hotel pool next door and wished you had it at this hotel. The hot tub was nice size but only had 3 jets working.

I loved the beach front resort. Loved the breakfast. The king bed was comfortable.

I didn't like the fact that they did not have another water.

I liked the two swimming pools and the hottub and the breakfast along with the upper deck food...

The only thing is not having enough towels in the room and we saw the small hanging sign on the towel rack saying to hang your towels and reuse them each day...

I liked absolutely nothing. I paid extra for a beach front that I did not get when I arrived and the woman at the Front desk did not inform me they did not have any of the rooms available that I booked. She didn’t offer any accommodations or discount or to make it right that they false advertised the rooms they claimed to have available.

Everything ! Too long of a list to put down but … Bugs in room , mattress like a rock, bathroom the size of a crawl space couldn’t even shut the door to use it, air didn’t work. The view I PAID for and was deceived of was trash!!

Staff is wonderful. Clean facilities. Perfect location. Great food and atmosphere.

Did not like being by the workout room. It was noisy late at night with people dropping weights.

My husband travels a lot for work and consistently stays at Marriotts, so he had a lot of points which we used for this stay. This is a great property and we really enjoyed it. Highlights: - Two areas of rooms - garden view and ocean view. We had ocean view but the garden views looked nice too. Reminded me of what I envision Hawaii looking like. Very nicely maintained landscaping. - Two pool areas and a hot tub area. - Not a lot of garage parking under the ocean view rooms but plenty of parking on property and not a far walk. - They upgraded us to a suite (hubs is Platinum Elite). Had a wrap around covered balcony, couch with sitting area and tv in addition to the tv by the beds, good sized fridge with sink microwave and high top table and two chairs in the mini kitchen area. Average sized bathroom. - Breakfast area is really nice with tons of food options - make your own waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy, biscuits, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, pastries, muffins, bagels, bread, English muffins, juices, white and chocolate milk, hard boiled eggs. - Outdoor tiki style bar and food by the pool closest to ocean - Workout room with treadmills, weights, cycle thing. - Resort fee of $25 a day you can use for food and drink - we did Pina Coladas - Several other amenities for Marriott Bonvoy - Free WiFi - Maid service every other day - Very quiet with the exception of the doors being very heavy and especially the maids would go in and out constantly letting them slam Only negative is the traffic due to the bridge construction but we were only impacted by it when we left town.

Location was good on the beach and close to the ballpark which is why we were there. Room was fine, except I think the outside doors should take a key to get inside. It says they do, but it doesn't work.

Food was decent, but they ran out of food at the Upper Deck, that was disappointing since we didn't want to leave. And paid a lot of money for 2 margaritas that were terrible.....

It was similar to a resort. The staff were willing to help with any needs.

The weird $25 fee they charge then give back to you as a $25 credit for food from the hotel. It cannot be used on the day of checkout. I had no choice but to use mine at the super busy bar. The food was mediocre. I would’ve much preferred to use it the next morning before we checked out out at the breakfast restaurant.

My fiancé rented the room, and during our stay we were contacted by the hotel and accused of smoking/vaping in the room while we had actually been away from the property for several hours at the beach. Shortly after, our room key was deactivated, forcing us to go to the front desk before we could even access our room to shower and get ready. The hotel claimed the accusation came from an air quality monitoring system, yet staff refused to provide any report, documentation, or evidence supporting the allegation when we requested it. There was no real-time warning, no visible smoke, no odor concern communicated during our stay, and no transparency regarding how this conclusion was reached. What made the situation most frustrating was not just the accusation itself, but the lack of professionalism and transparency in how it was handled. Guests deserve clear communication and documentation before being threatened with significant charges. By the way read another review same experience.

Everything. Our destination package. The breakfast. The staff. The grounds. The amenities. Our room was on the first floor with a gulf view, right next to the stairs. The drinks were great, beach side bartender as well as evening bartender inside are excellent at mixed drinks! The pizza was so good. We got one almost every evening. It was such a quiet calm stay compared to our usual at The Island down the road. Our puppies were welcomed too.

That I had to leave too soon. I didn't get to swim in the larger deep pool up front. I didn't get more pictures. That it rained one day. That I got a sunburn, lol

1st time there. The totality of the stay was awesome. Breakfast buffet setup was on point. My favorite was the lunch setup on the deck. Chef and Bartender were great.

Wasn't much we didnt like. The uncontrollable..... Weather mainly as it was cold and wet the first couple days. Really warmed up at the end.
