Very clean.

They have a ton of things for handi cap accessible but didn’t find out until the day before we checked out.

I liked the pools, tiki bar, and the fact that it’s beach front.

I had a problem with the plumbing. I originally booked to have all of my family with me. Thank goodness I went solo I couldn’t imaging washing three girls hair in the bathroom. The tub was stopped up the toilets barely flushed.

Our experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Fort Walton Beach was exceptional, and it all started the moment we walked through the front doors. After having a very disappointing experience at another hotel, we arrived feeling stressed, frustrated, and honestly wondering if our birthday getaway was going to be a disappointment. Thankfully, Oniel completely changed the direction of our trip. From the moment he greeted us, he made us feel genuinely welcome. He didn’t just check us in—he took care of us. He made us feel like valued guests, not just another reservation. His kindness, professionalism, and sincere desire to help immediately put us at ease. Within just a few minutes, he had completely turned our mood around and helped us relax and start enjoying our vacation. Oniel has a rare gift for hospitality. He made us feel known, appreciated, and important. You can tell he truly cares about the guest experience, and because of him, what started as a stressful day became one of the best vacations we’ve had in years. I’d also like to recognize everyone working the front desk on Thursday evening. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. The positive attitude of the entire staff created a wonderful first impression that continued throughout our stay. As for the hotel itself, we couldn’t have been happier. The property is beautiful, clean, and perfectly maintained. The beach access is fantastic, the pool and outdoor spaces are places you actually want to spend time, and the lobby is comfortable and inviting. Unlike many beach hotels where you simply sleep and leave, this is a property where you genuinely enjoy spending the day. In fact, my wife and I have already said that we plan to bring our three sons, their wives, and someday our future grandchildren back here. It has exactly the kind of atmosphere we’re looking for—large enough to have everything you need, yet intimate enough to feel peaceful, relaxing, and welcoming. Maggie and O’niel was excellent. We received the best customer service ever. I was in the Army and gave great customer service, so I know the importance of it. And they went above and beyond for us and we truly appreciate them.

We had an amazing stay and honestly did not want to leave! The convenience of being so close to the pool, hot tub, and ocean made everything easy and relaxing. The rooms were very clean, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. ONeil was especially great and helped make our stay even better. We also truly appreciated how well Diamond members were treated. The daily $20 credit for both my wife and me was a wonderful benefit and added even more value to our stay. This was a fantastic trip for the two of us, and we would love to come back and bring our kids next time. Highly recommend!

Our stay started out with a little miscommunication with our room, but was quickly rectified. We cant say enough great things about our stay and the amazing staff! Pebble and Maggie are two of the kindest, sweetest, thoughtful humans and the world could stand to have many more of them in it! They were both so patient and giving to my very curious, talkative, and outgoing 8 year old. From gifts and conversations, to cookies and milk, and chocolate covered strawberries, both of my daughters couldn't have felt more special. Pebble and Maggie deserve the biggest raise, promotion, and some kind of employee appreciation. I know the hotel industry workers get crapped on a lot. But these two never wavered from being the best. I hope they know how much they are appreciated and deserve all of the greatest things. Thank you for making the trip for our girls nothing less than memorable. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Everything was very nice, loved the activities for the small children and easy access to the beach. The lady that cleaned the rooms on the second floor was exceptional. She was very nice, smiled and a great asset to the hotel. I really like the armbands that we purchased that would also open our room, made things so easy not having to keep up with a room key.

Construction, I know that it is necessary but it was a huge inconvenience getting out of the hotel to the main road. Parking - due to construction equipment and vehicles it was challenging at times finding parking for a large suv.

I had an incredible stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Fort Walton Beach. The hotel itself is beautiful, the beach is absolutely stunning, and the amenities made everything easy and relaxing. But the true highlight was Lamonte. He was welcoming, fun, and genuinely made our stay feel special. His energy and kindness are unmatched, he’s a real gem and the heart of this hotel. The location was awesome and the ck in person was very courteous.

On the beach I found carpet was not clean. The toilet was for a toddler. Too low for adults. For the price we paid it could of had a sofa.

We had a great time! Lamont hands down was the best front desk clerk I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. He was friendly very helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel was very clean and relaxing. Our breakfast experience could’ve been better we experienced a very long wait for two people. Overall, the property is super close to the beach and the pool is very serene. Gave me the wrong room I booked a room with balcony oceanfront when I got there they gave me a room without a balcony. They did move us to a room with balcony city view it a big disappointment as we like to sit on the balcony and look at the ocean I will not ever book a stay there again or go through booking.com.

Hotel was nice and clean. We got there early and were able to pre check in and use the pool. Finishing check in was super quick. Once in the room, we realized we didn’t have a balcony as the pictures on trip advisor suggested. Kyla and Pebble were very nice and accommodating for the mix up. This seems to be a trip advisor problem and not the hotel so won’t remove a star.

I love that it’s right in the beach, great location from the airport and close enough to all the great food in Destin without being in the middle of Destin

Due to road construction it’s a pain to make a left a left out of the property but that is not their fault. Otherwise nothing that I don’t like about the property!

Location is great. This is a hidden gem it’s like a Caribbean resort. Tiki bar is great food was great loved the salmon and all the breakfast is great. Then at night with the fire pits amazing even the pool at night. Dwayne was so helpful and amazing. He was my guide for everything and everything I wanted to do. Very accommodating to me and my family needs. Only thing I would say is the main switch light in the room is bright especially when you like to sleep in the dark

Great location on the beach, and the beach was very clean. On the first day, the concierge, Pebble, was very nice to and had great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The other concierge, ONiel, compensated us very nicely for an issue we had with the room.

We greatly enjoyed our stay! Maggie was extremely helpful, choosing the best possible room for us and accommodating other requests!

I don't like booking.com. I didn't realize they aren't transparent with information. I needed to change this reservation and I understand that it was not refundable, but Booking sent me to the hotel, they explained to me that they are not able to change ANYTHING about reservations made through booking.com. It bothers me that booking.com wasn't transparent with the information.

O hotel é lindo, muito bem localizado, praia maravilhosa, funcionários atenciosos. Você tem tudo perto. A praia tem acesso fácil pelo hotel, praticamente privativa. A piscina é bem disputada, mas pegamos temporada de férias escolares. Agradeço a atenção especial que recebemos do supervisor Oniel.

Eu havia entendido que o serviço de piscina como cadeiras e guarda sol estavam inclusos no preço, mas custam 60 dólares por dia. Se você pretende ir a outras praias vai gastar o mesmo, mas se a ideia é permanecer no Resort, o serviço NÃO é gratuito. O café da manhã não estava incluso,mas há várias opções de locais próximos como IHOP Estacionamento tem um preço razoável.

So far from the minute we checked in everything has gone so smoothly. Mrs Pebbles at the front was so nice and friendly. Check in was fast & the easiest thing we've done on vacation thus far. This hotel is also pet friendly, we don't travel without our fur baby and he has been more comfortable here so far than anywhere before.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was kind and professional. Pebbles checked us in as if she was welcoming us home.

The pool was great for the kids and location to the beach.

The beds were uncomfortable, bathroom was very small, shower was horrible, mini fridge was the smallest they could find.

I was very impressed by this establishment. The staff were super friendly and professional. The lady, Ms. Pebbles was very nice and accommodating. Rooms and common areas were very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommended it.

The location is perfect, right on the beach. Lamonte was working the front desk during check in time and he was absolutely amazing! We had previously booked an AirBNB that ended up being infested. Lamonte was able to get us a room and helped create a welcoming environment. The pool is great with activites for kids, and has a D.J and tiki bar. Most importantly the rooms were clean and the staff was amazing

We arrived on Wednesday late afternoon and were greeted with the desk attendant, Oniel. He was super friendly and very helpful. The hotel was modern and clean. We got to our room and had a beautiful view of the gulf and pool area. The only downside was the shower which allowed water to go all over the floor. We had to use all our towels to soak it up so we didn’t slip. Other than this, the lazy River was fun and pool was nice! The fire pit afterward was also very relaxing! I highly recommend this hotel for its amenities and if you happen to meet Oniel, he will be a great assistant for you!!

Maggie at the front desk is beyond exceptional! She gave us some amazing food options upon arrival. She also was very enjoyable to talk to. It makes a huge difference having a person to have a talk with about whatever may be on both your minds after being in a car for hours for a trip.

Wife and I booked this trip for our first time to Destin. I’ll chalk it up to simply choosing the wrong place. Definitely can’t beat the water - it’s quite beautiful. Everything else about this property is pretty awful. The night we arrived, we decided to have dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. We watched our server leave after she gave us our food. Almost just went to the room. Everyone was confused in the restaurant at who ordered what and I saw several annoyed families. The rooms are dated, loud, and water from the rain comes in through the door to the balcony. If you enjoy sleeping on an extremely stiff mattress, you’ll enjoy it, but it was a brutal 2 nights. We ended up leaving early based on a combination of factors. The weather showed no signs of rain stopping for the remainder of our short trip, and once we walked around the dog urine in the main hallway, we pretty much had enough. Destin seems to have nice beaches, but it may be worth it to Air BNB something on the water instead of rely on this property to provide an enjoyable stay for you. Overall extremely disappointed and they should be too for carrying the Hilton name with that kind of service.

Booked a room with two queen beds got stuck in a room with one king. Hard to sleep with two kids and a wife in one bed. Have stayed here several times but won’t be back

The guest relations staff were wonderful. Friendly helpful. Only hang up was we ordered a room that was connecting and the hotel didn’t accommodate us. Otherwise no complaints. Restaurant was great. Would recommend this place. Free breakfast was wonderful.

The lazy river was great! We could also use the other pool across from the tiki bar. They had a lady doing a bubble show for the kids!

Breakfast was not continental. You had a meal voucher and had to choose one item from the menu.

Maggie was very kind and helpful at reception. The other reception staff during our stay were also very nice as were the staff in the restaurant and at the poolside bar. The room had a beautiful view of the white dunes, Gulf and the pool.

This was a great hotel. Very clean. Staff was very friendly. Ruby, the towel lady, was awesome. Loved seeing her in the morning. Reinia, the waitress, was so great in the morning for breakfast. Anticipated our order and was ready for us. The bartender, Summer, at Gilligan's bar on the premises was great fun. Love getting my drinks from her. The beach was great. White sand and warm Gulf water. Short walk from hotel. The hotel pool and lazy river was so relaxing. Would definitely go back.

I booked this hotel because of its location and convenient access to work for a business trip. The facilities and access to the beach were great and the room was clean and comfortable. The best part of the hotel was the staff however, Maggie chacked me and and gave me the full overview of the property and area ensuring that I made the most of the time I had outside my meetings. It wouldn't have been the same with her. Thanks to the team!

I just have to take a moment to recognize someone who truly made my stay special—Ruby, who manages the towels at the Hilton. It might seem like a small role, but Ruby brings such warmth and care to it that it becomes something memorable. Every time I saw her, she greeted me with a genuine smile that could brighten anyone’s day. She was always kind, attentive, and ready to help without hesitation. Whether it was making sure I had fresh towels right when I needed them or simply offering a friendly hello, Ruby made the experience feel personal and welcoming. It’s rare to come across someone who takes so much pride in their work and treats every guest with such consistent kindness. Ruby is a perfect example of how one person’s attitude can elevate an entire stay. Hilton is lucky to have her—and so are the guests who get to meet her.

Had an amazing stay here while visiting Ft Walton Beach. Maggie and Pebble at the front desk make you feel right at home the minute you walk in. The rooms are clean and spacious and the view is absolutely amazing. The beach is just a few short steps from the pool. What more could you ask for? I'd gladly stay a whole week here if I had the chance.

AMAZING hotel! I just wish I could go all the time! Ms.Ruby was great to my son. We were there for a week and each day couldn’t wait to go see her and talk. Everyone was friendly. Pool and beach access was amazing. Pool side bar was great!!!! Can’t wait to go back!
