Location was excellent. Beautiful skylight. Restaurant is world class.
The ceiling in the room first assigned to us was peeling. We were reassigned to another room. The bathtub was old and fixtures were stained with rust. But room was fine.
We decided to move over from another hotel chain and give the DoubleTree a shot. Great property, nice, quiet, clean, and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Good location in town and really great people across the property. Front desk staff was awesome and helpful...huge shout out to Dee Wilson, who is the king of being kind and getting to know folks…super good guy so make sure you say hi to him at the front desk…he also likes a good plate of BBQ if you want to treat him. We had a few very minor things like a slow draining sink and AC not running super cold. We shared that feedback with the staff so they could address for next guests. Overall, we had a great stay and this will likely be our new choice when visiting Lubbock.
Was a good location
Beds are terrible to hard, pillows too soft. Did not get a fitted sheet and after we asked for one we did not receive.
Everyone is great. Especially in the bar and restaurant. Steakhouse is wonderful. Rooms are clean and tidy.
From the moment we arrived , the hospitality was phenomenal. The front desk team was very welcoming and efficient, especially Dee. Every staff member we encountered-from housekeeping to the Clarayboya Restaurant staff! If you’re ever in Lubbock this is the place to be hands down!
Their systems were down- we had to go to another hotel
A fair stay in Lubbock, not the worst option but definitely not the best. Customer service is lacking a bit both in hotel and restaurant. Employees we encountered were friendly just not really customer focused, they all just seem to be collecting paychecks. Hotel was super slow when we were there mid week and they still stuck us in a room overlooking the lobby bar, so noise was an issue and our window “view” was the AC condenser. Beds were comfortable, room was spacious and had great drawer storage. Bathroom and closet doors slam shut on you, careful of that. Bathroom was a bit dingy with rust in tub and old/dirty shower curtain. Location is convenient for campus, across the street both directions is a little concerning, but nothing terrible. I wouldn’t leave anything in your car in this parking lot. I’ll leave this hotel as a last resort when we’re in the area. Was hoping for a great LBK option, but it fell short.
Very nice hotel with a large room. Dinner was good but a bit on the expensive side. But yet another Hilton property with a Peloton that is not functional, happens way too often. Checked in at 4 and checked the gym and the Peloton is not activated so not usable. Asked the front desk about getting it activated and as usual they said they would let engineering know. Four hours later and it is still not activated and I have no expectation it will work tomorrow morning so I can use before I leave.
As stated numerous times with booking and with the facility. It was filthy and my feet stuck to the floor of the room like a movie theater and the front registration was not helpful

Nothing everything was above expectations stayed only one night, attending a family funeral and after a long day it was nice to come back to a really comfortable bed. We had a great sleep
Close to Texas Tech, when I had a problem with my room being clean mainly the bathroom Staff took care of it right away
My bathroom
Clean and comfortable room. Front desk clerk was cheerful and willing to help.
Considering the location, it might be helpful to have evening property security.
Very clean and staff were very professional

Beautiful furnishings
Restroom had an odor to it and floor was sticky. I wish the rate had included breakfast. We had to drive in heavy rain to find a nice breakfast spot.
I was in Lubbock for a wedding over the weekend of April 10-12. Having a DoubleTree in Lubbock was exciting to see when I booked. The previous hotel in this location was a Four Points Sheraton and was familiar on my arrival. Front desk staff were fantastic. Quick, seamless check in. On arrival to my room I realized that the power outlets in the room were not working. I use a medical device and I wasn’t going to be able to use the room. Front seat staff again, amazing. I had a new room in about 15 minutes. The hotel was clean, well kept, and the on site car and restaurant were excellent. My only “room for improvement” item is beds. The beds are miserably hard. I did not have quality rest during my stay. A softer bed would’ve been hallmark for my rest and my back. Otherwise. No complaints.
My stay here was EXCELLENT and made even better by Dee. He was kind, welcoming, helpful and even made the effort to remember the names of my team that stayed there. Would highly recommend!
Assistance General Manager Dee Wilson and his staff delivered memorable customer service from start to finish! The entire process was seamless. The staff was incredibly welcoming, fast, and efficient. It is so rare to find a team that genuinely cares about their customers. Highly recommend!
From the moment we checked in through the end of our trip, there was always someone there to assist and accommodate our every need!!
The staff was very friendly.
We didn’t like the location.
Dee and his team were exceptional ! From check-in to housekeeping everyone was so attentive and kind ! Thank you Doubltree Lubbock !
The manager and his team were so friendly and accommodating from the time we arrived in the front, even offering to dispose of some trash that I had in my hands. Highly recommend!!
I arrived early and checked my bags so I didn’t have to carry them around. Ended up sitting at the bar to have lunch and Dee came to find me 40 minutes before early check in to let me know our rooms were ready and he had our keys and had us fully checked in. He checked in with us every time we went through the lobby to make sure everything was perfect. The check in staff, restaurant and bar staff was all on point. Rooms are nice and clean and the food is much better than you’d expect from a hotel. Our go to from here on out when in Lubbock
Only Hotel I’ll stay at when traveling to Lubbock for work. D and team members go above and beyond to make sure my stay is perfect every time.
This property and staff are amazing. They pay attention to detail and make things easy for their guests. Dee is always smiling and being helpful and knows regular guests by name . The restaurant is excellent. I chose this hotel for every visit to Lubbock now.
The leadership and staff here is the very best in town!! I always look forward to my stays at this property.
The best staff in West Texas! Dee is the man!! Greets people by name, and cares about all of his guests. Super clean rooms, great food in the hotel lobby, and a stellar bar. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lubbock.
Very clean
Everytime we’ve stayed, it’s very noisy.
I am in town a few times a month and early on I tried different hotels. I landed on the Hilton because the manager Dee is amazing and very helpful and is always looking to make my stay memorable. although it is weeks between stays he always remembers me and welcomes me like a friend. 5 stars thank you Dee
We stayed at the Double Tree Hotel Lubbock on February 13-14. We booked a King room with pullout bed for 3 guests. Upon check-in we were put in a room with a king but no other bed. We notified the front desk and were then moved to a room with two queens. Still not what we book but we were flexible. The next day house keeping cleaned the room while we were out and we discovered my son’s Beats Headphones were missing. We called the front desk and the gentlemen was very rude, and said all the other staff had gone home because they were tired and he couldn’t help us. I asked for a manager and did receive a call back about 10:30pm. The lady assured me she’d look into it and call me back. I never heard from her. The next morning (Saturday ) I went down to the front desk and spoke to the Assistant General Manager. He was very nice and assured me it would get taken care of. He took down my information and said he needs to talk to the GM on Monday. We went home to Dallas and the assistant GM calls me Tuesday to say he was still waiting to talk to the GM. It’s now March 8th and no response. I’ve reached out multiple times since that call on Tuesday February 17th with no response. Still hoping for resolution to my sons Christmas gift being stolen from our locked room.
I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions for business, including a recent visit for a conference, and Anthony has consistently exceeded expectations. His dedication to delivering exceptional service is evident in every interaction. The restaurant is excellent also!!!!
The Doubletree Hotel in Lubbock is our home away from home. During football season and date nights we make a point to stay at the Doubletree. Dee and his staff strive to make your stay memorable, and they accomplish it by friendly service, great food and clean surroundings. My profession requires me to stay a lot of nights in hotels, and none can compare to the Doubletree in Lubbock, TX. It truly is your home away from home.
Dee Wilson at the front desk is fantastic. He handled an issue I had before I had to bring it up, he was personable and knew who I was, and was very kind. I was extremely impressed with him.
We love staying at the Doubletree in Lubbock! The location is close enough to Texas Tech to walk to games, but far enough for peace & quiet. The staff is always amazing & goes out of their way to help with any needs we may have. The on site restaurant & bar (Claraboya) is phenomenal and has something for every pallet. We’ve been staying here for over 5 years; it’s our “go to” whether it’s for game day, birthdays, sorority events, graduation, or family fun! The Doubletree Lubbock is our home away from home!
I got stranded in Lubbock because of the storm and stayed here at the Double Tree. Everyone I interacted with was friggin awesome!!! They treated me like family and took amazing care of me while I stayed here. Of note were Crystal, Shana, Dee, Camille, Meghan and Dennis. I can’t recommend this hotel higher, they knocked it out of the park.
Clean, friendly staff
So loud!
The evening front desk person was very friendly and helpful. The location was good for the event we were attending. The restaurant looked nice, but we didn't get a chance to try it out.
The tv channels were all out of wack; the NBC station was EI in the morning and then later in the day it was the MLB network. Other stations were also wrong. The bed did not have a fitted sheet on it, just a top sheet, which was constantly sliding around. The weight room had a leaking ceiling; when I informed the front desk they didn't seem concerned and no one came to check it out while I was on the treadmill.
I like there was a bar / restaurant inside the facility and it was very comfortable.
The cheapest meal on the dinner menu at the bar / restaurant was $25.00 for a bacon cheeseburger. The burger was very good, but not inexpensive.
Restaurant and bar were amazing.
Can’t say that I had any dislike with the property.
This is my 4th time staying here at the Doubletree in Lubbock and I’m already planning my next stay. My last review still rings true. The customer service level is top notch and led by Dee. I saw him come in on his day(s) off to make sure everything was going well when they ended up short staffed. And I’m not talking about just managing, he was pitching in to clean rooms, mount a new tv in the dining area, all while keeping his ears open to anything else going on. I also noticed this time the rest of his staff and how they pitch in and work harder because he is there with them to make it happen. What a fantastic team he has created. Stay here. If something is wrong with your room or stay, mention it and Dee and his team will work tirelessly to fix it.
habia un olor feo en el pasillo y el ultimo día no nos hicieron el cuarto.
Very clean
Was able to hear lobby music in room.
Clean and comfortable
Breakfast not great, coffee terrible
The breakfast coffee was cold. Hard to get service. Expense for the small amount of food serviced. Nothing was done with the room. Bed was not touched. No clean towels were left in the room.
Came to Lubbock for friend’s son’s wedding New Year’s Eve. Bar was closed. The amazing night desk guy Brandon was absolutely amazing. Let us have our own little party in the lobby with mimosas and snacks and took our pictures. Also put the TV on so we could do the countdown and he did it with us.
Clean and pleasant appearance
Receptionist not attentive
It was clean
Our room was on the 2nd floor, above the bar which was open to 11 pm. It was extremely noisy. The restaurant food was mediocre. The “paid breakfast” was only a portion of the breakfast menu fees.
Love it very clean
Love it
On December 26, 2025, I dealt with a dishonest and misleading front desk employee working the 3–11 shift. Over the span of more than six hours, I was repeatedly misled regarding the availability of accommodations for my infant. What started as confirmation that rollaway cribs were available changed to them “not existing,” then changed again to pack-and-plays being available. Instead of being truthful from the beginning, I was strung along for hours. I arrived at the hotel close to 11:00 PM and was explicitly told that a pack-and-play would be placed in my room prior to arrival. When I entered the room, there was nothing there. I then went to the front desk, where the night shift employee told me that the prior employee claimed I was supposed to pick it up myself. That employee then went to search for the pack-and-play only to come back to tell me she did not know where they were. This was completely false and contradicted both what I was told earlier and what was documented in the chat. The 3–11 employee’s dishonesty directly caused confusion, delayed resolution (there was no resolution), and unfairly shifted the problem to the night shift front desk employee, turning this into an unnecessary late-night issue. As if that were not enough, the room above us was excessively loud, with nonstop stomping that made rest impossible. I called the front desk to have the issue addressed, only for the noise to become worse after the night shift employee claimed she went to “fix the problem.” The disturbance was not resolved until approximately 2:00 AM, presumably when the guests upstairs finally went to bed. The level of service at this hotel is completely unacceptable. I have stayed at a Hilton in Downtown Shreveport and once arrived to find toenail clippings on my bed; yet even that property provided better customer service than this DoubleTree. Being misled for over six hours, dealing with dishonest communication between staff, and enduring unresolved noise issues is inexcusable for a Hilton-branded property. This experience explains exactly why my employer transferred our business to The Overton Hotel in Lubbock when I am in town for work. This stay confirmed that decision was justified. Lastly, I find it telling that the response offered was, “Feel free to come by the desk so we can work on a solution for you.” If staff had truly been paying attention to their guests, they would have realized that I had already checked out and I will not be returning. The opportunity to “work on a solution” passed when your staff chose dishonesty, poor communication, and inaction throughout my stay.
Close to the event I was attending
Clean, Comfortable, front desk people super nice and helpful

Travel frequently for work, and this place always make sure I'm well taken care of while in Lubbock! Very grateful for Dee and the entire team!
The absolute BEST customer service! Brandon at the front desk goes above and beyond—truly outstanding. I’ve never experienced customer service this exceptional in my life! I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay in Lubbock! The room was spotless and pristine, and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. This will definitely be our go-to hotel whenever we travel to Lubbock! (Just another shout out to BRANDON, you are PHENOMENAL!!!)
Breezy went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! Dee was the most helpful front desk concierge I have ever had. Both need some kind of recognition for their hardwork and dedication.
My partner and I stayed here while visiting family in the area. The service has been excellent. Everyone we met was friendly. Breezy made the reservation process seamless and was so helpful in arranging accommodations and helping us to feel welcome. Dee helped us through our stay. I can’t remember the last time I made to feel so special by an organization. Really top tier service at this beautiful location.
The staff was friendly and accommodating and the restaurant is excellent!
You charge for Netflix and Prime T.V.
Had great customer service, Dee was very helpful and very chipper. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to any one. Very clean and amazing staff close to everything.
Location was great. The room was clean.

Thank you to Dee and the team for always ensuring that our trips to Lubbock for gameday are enjoyable. From the front desk to the restaurant, we always receive great customer service.
Extremely disappointing stay. When we checked in, the front desk couldn’t find our reservation for several minutes and even gave us a room that was already occupied by another family. The room we eventually got was dirty, with a vomit stain on the wall that wasn’t cleaned until the next day. Later that night, we discovered multiple live bedbugs on the couch and immediately checked out. This experience was completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone
We had the best weekend. All of the staff were amazing and hospitable! Not only was the staff kind and warming, but the hotel was very clean and comfortable!
Loved the hotel, staff was great!
The location was ok, although some of the surrounding businesses appear to be deteriorating. The food in the restaurant was passable, but on the expensive side for what it was.
The Room was missing basic amenities such as hand soap. When we reported this to the front desk they responded that we were not the only room with that issue and that they were "trying to get hold of someone". We never did get any soap from them. The coffee maker in the room didn't work. The bathroom was so small that when sitting on the toilet my shoulder was touching the shower door. Possibly worst of all, the welcome cookies were rock hard.
The staff was amazing with helping me getting a room when Priceline put me in a very unsafe dump hotel and did not care what happened to me on my trip. I cannot say how much I appreciate the staff at this Hilton for all they did.
Crystal at the front desk was awesome.
We loved the staff in the bar 2 weekends in a row. Only drawback to our room was the AC didn’t work great.
Everything was great.
This is a beautiful property, very clean, and extra friendly and warm staff! We love it here!
Everything
Picked this hotel because website stated room service and gave the hours. Upon arrival they did not offer room service. The staff was not educated on options, couldn’t answer any questions about restaurant hours or anything else. Very disappointed in service and staff knowledge.
As soon as I checked in I got a welcome call making sure the room was in good condition.
The toilet wasn’t flushing but they fixed it right away!
