Embassy Suites Lubbock

Location was good. Breakfast offered a nice variety, good to order eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. Breafast staff kept tables cleaned off and buffet fresh.

A little noisy and busy. But there was plenty of room for everyone.

Checking in the system was down took a hour to get checked in the checking in staff did the best they could they handled it very well with a great attitude. Leaving Sunday morning cleaning lady was cleaning by side door and was rude as we were walking out to my son

The staff was nice the breakfast was good service clean. Love all the garden space and live music great atmosphere we will come back every year we come to Texas

Very nice atrium at this hotel, beautiful plants throughout. Hotel staff very friendly. Breakfast set up was great.

Not a fan of indoor pools, but that is just a personal preference. People were enjoying the indoor pool, it is nicely kept.

Typical embassy suites vibe. Older place but the staff was amazing and so friendly and accommodating. Busy vibe for the cocktail hour with great service. Breakfast was clean, plentiful and delicious. Bed was comfy!

Checked in room type reserved was given away, put in another room. Overall the room is disgusting. Blood on the blanket, dried vomit on the bathroom door frame, dirty tub.

We stay here a lot and it’s always quiet and clean. We love the bar and indoor pool and hot tub and its suite style. I actually do love how it still has its original embassy look just could use a little paint and small updates.

The beds are older and not comfortable anymore and it could use a little updating such as paint.

We love the suite with 2 televisions. One of us goes to bed early and the other stays up late. It works out great for us.

Lubbock hotel is looking run down. Wallpaper peeling, stains on door frames and walls. It needs a face-lift. Managers special is a bonus, but snacks are cheaped out on and dried up carrots, and watered down ranch dip is un appealing. When something runs out it is not replaced.

The furniture in the rooms ( couch/chair) are very uncomfortable.

Best part of our stay was Trey. I reserved a premium room and on our 2nd day they had not refilled the snacks. We had been at TT for 10 hrs and didn’t get lunch, so it was important to us. Trey not only found someone to take care of this, he also personally came to the room to make sure we were happy. Awesome young man with fantastic customer service! The dining staff at breakfast was also fantastic. The gal who worked the omelet window June 9 was also great. She was constantly looking out on how she could help a guest. Our stay was also met with bumps. We had driven 6 hrs and had hoped to check in early, but the room was not ready, but the front desk assured us it would be ready no later than 4. When we returned from TT at 4:30 to check in our room was not ready. In fact, it was noted that housekeeping and maintenance do not answer their radios when called, leaving the front desk frustrated. The beds are not pillow top, they lean more on the stiff side. They did have an assortment of pillows including feather, which was nice! The hotel is worn with tears in their carpet and air conditioning that struggles to keep up. Did find if you turn the fan to “on” instead of “auto” helped to keep the room cooler.

Old, dirty, and strange. Traveling with my family and the room was old- rusty and stained 1/2 bath. Carpets felt slick. Eww. I say half bath because only the toilet and tub are private. I could not even get up ahead of my family to get ready without doing so in the dark or turning on a bedroom light to see the mirror and access the sink. Choose somewhere else to stay!

THE BREAKFAST HAD GOOD OPTIONS..BREAKFAST BUFFET…YOU HAVE TO SPECIAL ORDER IF YOU WANT BACON

THE ROOM NEEDED UPDATED AND HAD A SMELL THAT WAS UNPLEASANT. THE OUTDOOR AREA NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP.

Hotel is oddly shaped and old. Breakfast was good, reception that embassy suites is known for was ok. Hotel seemed like an old design that has not been updated. Curtains over the doors, small bathroom that had sink in the bedroom. Did have microwave and refrigerator which was nice. Ample parking, walmart and target not far. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Had live music down in the bar area at night. Would look elsewhere as this was a disappointment.

This is probably the most in-need-of-updating Embassy Suites I've ever stayed at. But, starting with the fact that despite rooms showing as ava for mobile check-in, I couldn't check in until 4pm or later because the hotel has been "sold out" for the weekend due to a concert. I was told housekeeping couldn't turn the rooms over fast enough to allow early check-ins. (This tells me they didn't prepare for a high volume turn-over with proper staffing.) That's fine, we did some sightseeing and grabbed lunch. We arrived at 4pm and guess what? Room still isn't ready, so, we were moved to another room of same status. Room 326: Whomever was in this room before us, must have bathed in cologne. Gross. The smell is in the pillows, the mattress, everywhere. It's so bad, I need to wash my hair because I can smell it in my hair. I was awakened at 4am by the trash truck dropping the dumpster behind the hotel. So, caution, Monday may be trash day. At 6am, people were outside working on something that involves a drill and gravel. They forgot to dim/turn off lights in the atrium and at 4am, jazz music was still blaring which can be heard in the room. My poor daughter had to sleep with a mask and headphones on the pull out couch. Bathtub does not drain. No exhaust fan in the shower/toilet area. Shower Water is hot which I'm thankful for to get rid of the cologne smell. If you're traveling with others, the bathroom is located in the bedroom so, your guests or kids will need access to the room. LOCATION: the main reason I choose this hotel is because it's convenient to everything if you're here for Tech and let's face it, thats the only reason to come. They're doing some atrium renovations at the time, so, no bar, only tables for complimentary happy hour. We did not visit the pool or hot tub. It's definitely an older Embassy Suites. I was able to have doordash delivery straight to my room. The outdoor patio was nice in the evening for happy hour. But, next time, I'll stay at a different Hilton Property.

Stayed at this hotel on our trip to Arizona. Overall, the hotel is old and in need of a refurbish. Our room was initially in need of a service for the air con that would not respond. The room was old and again tired and in need of a refresh. The usually impressive Evening reception from Embassy was poor. Two, small beers (Bud Light or Shiner only) and a selection of chips, carrots and celery for the snacks. Breakfast was acceptable, but nothing special. We have come to expect more from Embassy suites.

Comfort

The glasses and silverware at the restaurant/bar were dirty and the soft drinks were flat. When we notified the waitress, she apologized but didn't care to change the carbonated water.

The bathroom was horrible was not clean so very small could not shower or dress with it being so small. All night you could hear the foot steps above and below the hallway we got no sleep.

Floor plan gets crazy... to find rooms, had to walk around looking, thinking this is the route. Don't walk with too many things in ur hands to look, get to ur room... Check out where ur room is first... It looked simple but it wound up being far around, etc ..

Agree with the many other reviews. The rooms, mainly furniture, are just disgusting. If I wasn't part of a group staying there, I would have found other accommodations...If you're not going replace the furniture at least change the oil soaked in them

I didn’t like how hot the rooms got. Even when adjusting the temperature it was still so hot in the room.
