MCM Elegante Hotel & Suites Lubbock

The breakfast was fantastic. The staff were very friendly. The area is safe to run, it is only 1 mile from the TTU campus to run without having to worry about traffic.

The huge stone Ten Commandments was a little off-putting and I feel that almost every guest smoked cigarettes. As soon as you walked out of the hotel entrance people were always smoking.

Clean room with a comfortable bed, friendly staff, and an omelet bar for breakfast.

The facility is clean , but very outdated . It needs to be renovated. The rooms were clean and spacious though, and the staff was nice. They also serve free breakfast and you can order fresh omelets prepared from a chef.

I expected „ elegance“ but the facility has a „ 1980“ look.

My room could never cool down. The whole hotel was hot . The AC in my room was working just couldn’t cool the room so I couldn’t sleep well bcuz it was too hot. I would literally had to walk to AC to cool off

Our air conditioner was not working very well. Staff offered us to move but it was late and we were very tired so just stayed.

The staff was very welcoming. The suite we booked was spacious and quiet. The bartender was friendly, and we loved that we received a drink coupon each for booking a suite. Parking was close, as were several restaurants. Everything was very clean. Although most of the ice machines were out of order, the bartender cheerfully provided ice.

There was a banging noise coming from the bathroom pipes in our suite, so we kept the bathroom door closed. It stopped by morning. The living room and vanity area were a little dark, and the carpet had a 6-inch place where it was unraveled. The property is a little dated, but still a great value!

We were to have a suite. The king bed had very visible valleys in the bed, the bedroom was hot, and there was a barking dog next door. Also, they were many baseball teams staying there that had been throwing baseballs in the atrium and ALL 6 floors are open to the atrium. The hotel is visibly run down.

Check in was great. Welcoming and efficient. The room was good size and had everything I needed . Bathroom was good too. Bed was comfortable. Overall a nice hotel

I decided to eat at Rustlers-the hotels own restaurant. That part was closed -maybe because it was a Sunday and less customers so the tables in the bar were used. There was just one person covering the bar,taking the orders and going to the kitchen to get the food to serve the customers. Again it may be that on a Sunday they feel that one member of staff is adequate but the service was a bit slow. The staff member was very much a one paced person and so there was a wait for the food-which was good but it all felt a bit laboured.I was slightly disappointed as I had been looking forward to eating in the hotel

I love thw restaurant, bar staff and location

Only issue we had was thw bathroom/shower/toilet... we noticed it but really disnt want to have to move rooms so we dealt with it the toilet leaked and the shower sprayed water everywhere

Breakfast was cold and not enough choices. No danishes or muffins and no fruit.

Bathroom tub was unsanitary was afraid to cut myself around the drain.

I request king bed suite, they booked us 2 queen beds, I refused and changed to king bed, the room wasn’t as cleaned.

When we had problems maintenance was quick to respond. Excellent service from bartender in the lounge. Provided us with menus took food orders and delivered food to us while we were having drinks. Towels were very nice.

Toilet did not flush when we arrived. That was fixed. Next day had to have maintenance unstop it. Very slow flushing. Parking was difficult Phone in our room was not working. First time we had a problem we went downstairs to talk to desk. Second time I called the hotel number and talked to desk.

The toilet was having issues other that everything was great.

I loved that the staff were very professional and kind. Breakfast was wonderful.

When we were on our last day of stay, the power went out on our floor. We went swimming before our check out time.We had to take showers in the dark before we left. I could tell that the hotel is a bit old. Bathrooms are good but definitely are so for upgrades.

I was very pleased with the location and the overall facilities. The hotel is quiet, comfortable, and offers a simple but enjoyable breakfast. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout my stay.

I honestly have nothing negative to say about my experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The beds really were SO comfortable. All of the staff that we encountered were pleasant. The options at the breakfast were plenty. Lots to choose from. Although cold- but normally we wake up early and get breakfast and hit the road, we just couldn’t resist sleeping in- it was SO comfortable.

The room was SO far away. We didn’t have enough towels for the 4 of us- and we didn’t have any sheets for the sofa bed for my kids and when my husband went down to get more, they gave him a blanket and said sorry thats all we have. Um no- my some crazy miracle- when I called, they managed to find some. Now- why make me call and pitch a fit. The room was for 4 people- have enough amenities for 4 people! Anyway- the toilet seemed clogged and flushed really slow- and the toilet seat wouldn’t stay up so my husband said he had to hold it when he used the bathroom. Not enough plugs for all of our electronics.

The staff was amazing. The Location was great. The little bar was nice. The breakfast was beyond my expectations.

All the walls need a good coat of paint. The rugs in the rooms could use an upgrade

The staff is very friendly. The beds were comfortable. It was an older hotel but kept up very well. Very nice breakfast.

Don’t wash your clothes there. It took forever to do one load and there’s no place to sit and wait. We had to stand the entire time and still ended up with damp clothes that we had to rewash at home.
