Prima locatie als je met de trein naar Leiden reist. Alles was netjes en in orde.

Due to a misunderstanding on our side about single and double beds in Netherlands we asked to change rooms, we were put in a room where there was a terrible smell and asked to be put back. They did put us back but there a lot of confusion on your side as to why?

Die Suite ist komfortabel eingerichtet, man fühlte sich gleich wohl. Das Frühstücksbuffet entsprach internationalem Standard und schmeckte uns gut. Die Lage ist zentral, wodurch alle Verkehrsmittel leicht erreichbar sind.

Durch die zentrale Lage an einer vielbefahrenen Straße kann es besonders nachts etwas laut sein.

très bon emplacement près de la gare, calme malgré tout.

Airco maakte een fluitend geluid waardoor we deze niet konden gebruiken. Hygiëne: ramen.waren heel vuil, glazen deur naar badkamer was in tojden niet meer gepoetst.

Fijn hotel met leuke kamers en parkeerplek. Je loopt zo het centrum in.

Jammer dat de lobby niet vernieuwd is. (Eerste indruk) kamers waren top.

The hotel is conveniently located near the station and an easy walk from the cultural centre of the city. The staff were efficient and welcoming.

There was no privacy - you can see into the shower from the sleeping area. Pillows and beds were worn and not especially comfortable. Our room was at the front of the hotel so we were disturbed by the noise of traffic.

Zentral gelegen, Aircondition, bequemes Bett, sehr gutes Frühstück. Abgeschlossenes Parkhaus gegen Aufpreis, in dem man das Auto am Abreisetag noch bis Abends stehen lassen konnte.

Het was een fijne en ruime kamer dicht bij het centrum van Leiden en het station. De badkamer en het bed waren goed schoon.

De vensterbank was helemaal smerig. Het leek alsof er make-up op zat. Verder lag er op verschillende plekken nog wat stof.

Het dekbed was erg warm voor in de zomer. Hebben we meteen eraf gehaald.

Die Lage ist super, nicht mitten in der Stadt, aber nur 10 Fußminuten entfernt. Das Hotel hat ein überdachtes Parkhaus (gegen Gebühr). Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit.

Auf den Bildern sahen die Zimmer anders aus als in Wirklichkeit – zumindest unseres. Außerdem hatte unser Zimmer nur ein kleines Fenster um die Ecke, wodurch es ziemlich dunkel war. Positiv war, dass das Zimmer groß war. Allerdings hat es aufgrund der spärlichen Einrichtung und fehlenden Dekoration stark gehallt. Insgesamt hat es etwas an einer liebevollen Einrichtung gefehlt.

The more recently modernised rooms are far better than the older ones. Good breakfast and evening meal available in restaurant.

I would not be happy staying in the older rooms. Fortunately, the hotel was not too busy and I was able to change room.

Onze kamer was niet meer in beste staat, er kwam geen koud water uit de kraan (alleen beetje lauw) en op de gang rook het wat viezig. Personeel bij incheck was niet echt gemotiveerd om te helpen; moest zelf constateren dat de boeking niet helemaal goed was verlopen. Ontbijt was wel erg goed.

Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett bequem.

Uns wurde kurz vor Ankunft mitgeteilt, dass die gebuchte Suite nicht verfügbar ist. Wir bekamen ein wesentlich kleineres Zimmer mit einer kargen Ausstattung und Blick auf den Parkplatz. Den Preis mussten wir trotzdem bezahlen, also für die Suite. Dafür wurde uns das Frühstück und der Parkplatz erlassen. In der Minibar war nichts! 0,5 L stilles Wasser gab es für 2,60 Euro an der Rezeption. Personal wirkte fachfremd. An der Rezeption war die junge Dame nicht in der Lage ein Taxi zu rufen, anstatt dessen schickte sie uns zum Busbahnhof… Das Frühstück war nichts besonderes und eine Lautstärke im Frühstücksraum, die sehr unschön war.

Der Fußweg zur Alltstadt

Vorweg, es ist kein schlechtes Hotel. Bei einem 4Sterne Hotel für über 200€/ DZ erwarte ich mehr. Das Hotel hat den Charme eines 80-er Jahre Betonklotzes. Nichts Eigenes, nichts Charmantes, nichts Besonderes, nicht mal eine Flasche Wasser auf dem Zimmer. Rezeption mäßig freundlich, Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer verschmutzt, Bad mit Fenstern zum Zimmer ist zumindest bei Toilettengängen befremdlich.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel in Leiden. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and welcoming, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. What impressed us most was their outstanding customer service. After we returned home to the United States, the staff contacted us saying they found a pair of prescription sunglasses in our room. My husband had not realized he left them! The staff went out of their way to mail them back to us, which we truly appreciated. The location is excellent—directly across the street from the train station, making our day trip to Amsterdam incredibly easy. It's also an easy and enjoyable walk to downtown Leiden, with its charming shops, restaurants, and canals. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

July 21, 2026, around 6 PM: Please absolutely avoid this hotel!!! The receptionist treated us like dirt, simply because we had mistakenly booked a room for two people instead of two people with a small child! After our long journey, we are incredibly disappointed to have been treated so rudely and insolently, especially with a child! It was nothing short of an absolute disgrace!

The rooms are spacious and location is very convenient.

Unfortunately, the service at reception was neither helpful nor particularly welcoming. Staff often responded defensively, and whenever we asked for assistance, we were largely left to resolve the matter ourselves. For example, our bedsheet was stained. Although we were given a clean replacement, we were expected to change it ourselves. When we asked for help arranging a taxi for our large group, reception simply handed us a telephone number and told us to call the company ourselves. We then had to spend a considerable amount of time on hold while also trying to organise the rest of the group and our luggage. Of course, we are capable of making a phone call or changing a bedsheet. The issue is not that these tasks are difficult, but that a hotel should provide a reasonable level of assistance, particularly when there is a problem with the room or when guests need help arranging transport for a larger group. Having to manage everything ourselves made the stay more stressful and inconvenient than it needed to be. Taken together, the experience felt more like staying in a youth hostel than in a professionally managed hotel. It was not the level of hospitality we expected and made our stay unnecessarily unpleasant.

Ein großes, schönes Zimmer mit Klimaanlage, super bei der Hitze, schönes Bad, Kaffee, Tee. Alles sauber und geschmackvoll. Frühstück hatten wir nicht genommen, passte uns an dem Morgen nicht. Freundliches,junges Personal. Alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit.

Prijs / kwaliteit. 1 bed kraakte enorm waardoor de nachtrust wel verstoord werd.

Excellent location, very close to train station and restaurants. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Room was of a good size with comfortable bed and excellent shower. There was also secure parking for our bikes with points to recharge bike batteries. Would use this hotel again.

I like that I could sleep with an open window. The air conditioning was loud and kept me awake, so open window was a great alternative when I turned off the AC. Great body lotion in bathroom.

De locatie is perfect voor als je het centrum van Leiden wil bezoeken; sfeervol, levendig en mega groot. Keuze zat met betrekking tot eten en een drankje doen in het centrum. Het hotel ligt buiten de drukte wat erg prettig is. Ruime kamer en badkamer. Koelkast in de kamer was ideaal. Parkeergarage direct tegenover het hotel.

De hotelkamer lijkt vluchtig schoongemaakt te zijn, want we vonden persoonlijke spullen van de gasten voor ons in de kamer. Buitenlicht dat via het raam in de badkamer naar binnen schijnt, verlicht al heel vroeg in de ochtend in de slaapkamer vanwege een glazen badkamerdeur. In de zomerperiode is dit niet fijn.

Uitstekende kamer voorzien van alles dat nodig is. Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel. Uitstekende ligging aan het station op +/- 10 min wandelen van het centrum.

Kan je niet veel aan doen, maar de ontbijtruimte is groot waardoor er ook veel rumoer is. Voor mij persoonlijk was dat minder aangenaam. Het is op de site niet duidelijk hoe de parking werkt. Kort vermelden dat je bij het inchecken een code krijgt enz. zou handig zijn.

De ligging

De kamer had geen daglicht en een onprettige indeling. Ook hing er een vreemde geur.

La situation géographique, le petite déjeuner qui était très varié, la literie plutôt confortable.

Le prix de la chambre . J’ai l’habitude de voyager et des hôtels, et je le trouve cher compte tenu des prestations. L’accueil à notre arrivée a été froid, la personne très peu accueillante. L’état des communs est un peu juste. Le prix du petit déjeuner cher.

Vriendelijk ontvangst en een mooie kamer, rustig gelegen aan de achterzijde van het hotel, dit was onze 4e verblijf en ik kom zeker terug, dik tevreden.

Ik heb geen op of aanmerkingen, het was prima zo.

Die Lage ist absolut perfekt um Leiden zu erkunden und/oder den 5Min entfernten Bahnhof zu erreichen um von dort Holland zu erkunden.

Ein wenig beklemmend fand ich das es nicht möglich war das Fenster ganz zu öffnen, sondern nur zu Kippen. Was bei einem zu öffnenden Fenster nicht unbedingt für frische Luft sorgt.

Die Zentrale Lage.

Unser Aufenthalt war insgesamt in Ordnung. Das Hotel hat seinen Zweck erfüllt und wir konnten die Zeit dort gut verbringen. Es gab jedoch einige Punkte, die uns persönlich nicht überzeugt haben. Da Bewertungen möglichst objektiv sein sollten und manche Eindrücke auch von individuellen Erwartungen abhängen, möchte ich diese hier nicht im Detail aufführen. Für uns war der Aufenthalt okay, allerdings würden wir das Hotel bei einem erneuten Besuch in Leiden wahrscheinlich nicht noch einmal buchen.

Schlechte Parkstuation und dafür mit 25 Euro pro Tag viel zu teuer, der Service inder Bar zu langsam und das Personal an der Rezeption nicht entgegenkommend.

Location was really great. Very quiet and comfortable rooms.

There is no air conditioning in rooms on the fourth floor and the side near the street is too noisy to have the window open. There is a high pitched noise coming from the street for hours late at night. I suffered without sleep for two nights because it was far too hot in my room. They did not have any fans, nor did they take my complaints seriously. I never want to stay here again…
