The fact that the young man upgraded our room after the one we were put in stunk sooooo bad.

Smelly rooms, uncomfortable bed. I was unaware of how close it was to traffic. Horrible to get in and out of the parking lot to the street.

I stayed in 528. The room was clean and spacious.

There were light bulbs that were out. I didn't mind as i just used a different lamp, but others might complain. The shower track was messed up and made it difficult to move.

The location, the beds were comfortable.

The furniture had stains on it, there was trash left in the trash can from the previous renters. We were moved to another room and stains were on the furniture as before. The furniture is outdated, the tub had rust around the drain.

We stayed 3 nights. Complimentary 2 water bottles for each room. Breakfast was good. The host had a good crew to look after the breakfast area. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Good-sized fitness room.

For parking, we had to pay $11/day. On the second day, Wi-Fi was down and was unable to be fixed before we left the hotel. We traveled with an international group and relied on the hotel wifi.

One of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. When you walk in the lobby it smells like a spa. You feel relaxed before you get to your room. Check-in on the Hilton Honors app was seamless and I never had to stop by the front door desk. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to visit family.

Just got back after spending a week. This hotel is fantastic. Nice rooms, quiet, good breakfast, very affordable. IAN at the front desk was such an amazing person who answered all our many questions. Ian was friendly professional, fun and very helpful. He is such an asset to this hotel along with all the other staff members who were great too. Your stay here will be wonderful.

The bed was comfortable and everything was clean, we also appreciated the staff being so attentive and kind! Bringing fresh towels to our room every day, refreshing the room…it was very nice and intentional.

The hotel entrance is very difficult to navigate. Great location in terms of the proximity to the metro, stores, gas, interstate, etc. But the traffic near the hotel is inconvenient.

Paid parking was not a nice surprise (hidden about 3 layers in on Booking.com. Made my decision based on listed price. Really dislike being tricked. Then we get up stairs and there are way too many stains on the floor. My daughter got grossed out and none of felt comfortable. Hampton inn is now on my not worth it list.

We love this hotel. Front desk staff friendly and helpful all shifts. Rooms are clean, bathrooms clean. The mattresses are dated and need replacing, but enough pillows, and linens. Location is perfect - bus, shuttle and metro are close by. Parking for a fee. Breakfast very good, hot and cold items, and fresh fruit. Walking distance to many shops, coffeehouses, bars and restaurants.

I liked the location. Really good breakfast with a nice clean dining area. Kitchen staff was very friendly and kept food filled at all times. Sitting area was comfy & clean. Front desk staff was very courteous and smiling. Our room was very roomy, clean and our beds were comfortable. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Just a recommendation for waffle maker area. People stands right over your shoulder in your personal space while you are waiting for waffle to finish. Recommending a wait line for them to stand on until waffle maker is available.

My room was comfortable, nicely furnished, and clean. The Breakfast buffet was wonderful. There were so many choices, and all the food was plentiful and delicious.

It would have been nice to have a dinner restaurant on site. However, I do realize that there are numerous restaurants in close proximity to the hotel.

I loved the room, service and location.

The only thing I didn't like was the parking. I don't know why you have to pay to park at a hotel where you have already paid to stay. I also didn't like the payment for parking. There should be a cash or credit card option.

front desk staff was so friendly I cant remember her name though. the place was clean and quiet. there were a lot of choices for breakfast and they offered water and lemonade and cookies in the lobby.

the potatoes had an interesting seasoning on them. This is just my personal opinion but I wasn't a fan. also, the eggs were kinda powdery, but you expect that at a hotel. I wish they had just had salt and pepper on the potatoes.

The property location was a bit tricky to get to the first time, especially during rush hour traffic. I didn’t read any directions to get there (my bad) but a small map diagram would have helped a lot.

The cleaning ladies didn’t know any English. I couldn’t get an extra towel if you can’t understand what I’m saying.

I would have liked to have known that parking was not included. Additionally, there was a lot of noise throughout the nights including the air conditioner vibrating and waking us up and banging every time we used the elevator. The room was not serviced daily and, although I don’t need daily service, for the price we paid for the room, I would have liked to have had the choice to not have service. When asked about daily service, I was told that this hotel does not provide service daily. However, it is noted that in the room they offer an easy way to tip for service. Lastly, the lines for breakfast were so long and they were frequently out of bananas and only offered one kind of yogurt and one flavor.

Very friendly staff and very clean room was ready when we got there.

Things that I did not like was the fact that the washcloths were well over my head to the place that I could not reach them. The tub had a handicap bar inside the tub it would had been better on the side to assist in getting out. We were told there was a couch but there was not one. We made it work. Teenage wasn't happy sleeping with a parent.

We stayed here during my son’s 8th grade trip to Washington DC. It is a little bit of a drive into the city but not bad and likely a much better price point than staying closer. The breakfast employees did a great job keeping everything filled; especially the kids never ending waffle obsession. We had a conference room for everyone to meet in which worked well.

Entrance and exit from property is quite tricky, first of all there should be a sign from Richmond Hgwy for the hotel entrance, if you miss this you will need to go into Alexandria and make a u-turn or take a 3 mile turn around at National Harbor.!

I didn't like the location there's nothing around

Prior to our stay we sent a message with a question, asking for a response before our arrival day. We never received any communication regarding our request/question, which was very disappointing. .

I did not like that they ruined my Mother's Day. My whole family that lived in the area gathered for a church service, and had my 98-year-old grandmother. The hotel called me and said that I had not checked out. I told them that I was scheduled to check out on Monday, the next day, and they said no on Sunday and that I had to come back and check out. I had to leave my family celebration and missed my grandmother being honored. On my phone, it said I was confirmed until the next day. I had to show them that I was heartbroken and that I missed something that I cherished, and I am going to get in touch with the corporate office of Hilton Hotels. This was not good, and they also had people enter my room when I told them no one was to enter. This was such a disappointment. The only thing they could say was I am sorry for that unacceptable. Plus, I am a silver member of Hilton. Plus, the breakfast was horrible and having the staff stand over you and see how much food you take was not good. I had two rooms, so I took food back to my elderly family who could not walk. I would have had a good experience if it were not for these mishaps,

no places to eat within walking distance. There was a lot of traffic and we did not want to travel by car to find a place to eat. Also when booking this reservation there was no mention of $10 parking fee. Very disappointed, as this would have made a difference in booking.
