Bar downstairs had happy hour, rooms were fantastic especially for this price range

Stayed one night on route to another destination and it didn’t disappoint. We arrived quite late and the reception staff were lovely and welcoming, they didn’t have the room we had booked but compensated us with free parking and breakfast. The room we were given was large spacious and clean . It did not disappoint. Check out was 12 noon , this was particularly helpful to us as we were able to go to the local parkrun , come back for breakfast and still not have to rush checking out .

Never had to pay for parking at our own hotel before. $25 per night to park at a place we already paid to stay at? Seemed this place wanted to pinch every last dollar they could out of you.

At the reception, they gave guests lavender sachets to help with sleep—that really impressed me. The receptionist was a very pleasant gentleman. They had an excellent gym, and everything was close by, including parking. The interior looked nice and smelled great, and there was even an option to play ping-pong. Simply put, it was my best experience with a hotel in this category.

I was watching the World Cup match at the bar. The bar man had to close the bar at 10:00pm and he shut down the TV while the match was going on. He refused to keep the TV on for us to finish watching the game. That is bad customer service

I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Sunnyvale over Memorial Day weekend and am happy to give it a 4-star rating. This hotel is well-maintained and provides everything you need for a comfortable visit. What Stood Out: Outstanding Service: The front desk team is incredibly dedicated, making both check-in and check-out completely seamless. A special shout-out goes to Rainier, the night auditor. His excellent customer service, sharp communication skills, and clear dedication to excellence really stood out during my stay. The Room & Amenities: My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with great toiletries, a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, and an ice bucket. Location & Atmosphere: The hotel is in a fantastic, convenient location that works perfectly for both business and leisure travelers alike. Since it was a holiday weekend, the property was a bit slow and quiet. While I didn't get to see it at maximum capacity, you can tell there is a really good vibe here that would be even better when the lounge and outlets are buzzing with more people. Room for Improvement: Glassware: The only real improvement I would suggest is providing proper glassware for wine or cocktails in the rooms instead of disposable paper cups. It would be a nice touch to elevate the experience. The Verdict: The management clearly has a dedicated staff in place who care about keeping guests happy. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

There was a constant low noise in the room plus once in a while ice making noise from the frig. I was surprised by parking fee. $25/night AND a $2 processing fee for paying the parking fee! It is not in the center of a city. Why is parking fee required? Breakfast was over priced with just ok food.

AVOID THIS HOTEL. They lure you in with what appears to be a decent price then after you’re committed with a nonrefundable reservation they hit you with $27.50 PER NIGHT for parking (in Sunnyvale, where parking at other hotels and even downtown parking is FREE), pay for breakfast, pay for water…I’m surprised you don’t have to pay for clean sheets! For shame, Hilton, fleecing your customers like that. Are you becoming the Ryan Air of hotels? AVOID THIS HOTEL

The staff at check in was amazing, the room was so clean and updated, and everything at the property was incredible. The price could not be beat! We even got a late check out, which was much appreciated considering we were traveling for my son’s soccer game. Allowing us to stay in the room an extra hour and a half was extremely helpful.

My stay at Hilton Garden Inn Sunnyvale turned into one of the most shocking and stressful hotel experiences I've ever had. It started with a minor and completely unnecessary confrontation with the front desk. I was told not to touch the fridge when staff wasn't present, which already felt overly controlling. The situation escalated quickly, and I was asked to leave the property. I complied without argument, went for a short walk around the block, and came back simply to return to my room. To my absolute disbelief, the police were waiting for me when I returned and I was arrested for trespassing. Yes, arrested. Over a situation that should have never escalated anywhere near that level. While things were eventually resolved, the entire incident left me shaken. It genuinely felt like the hotel was trying to set me up or escalate the situation intentionally rather than handle it professionally or reasonably. This was beyond poor service it was a disturbing and unacceptable experience. I would strongly warn others to think twice before staying here.

New, clean and quiet room. Excellent location in the heart of Silicon Valley. Parking lot is well lit.

The lady at the reception desk seemed to have a bad day when I checked in. Not much smile and looked a bit annoyed.

Very clean and modern hotel. Rooms were impeccable. The bed was super comfortable and everything about the room was well thought out. There is a pool with a lounge area but we didn’t get to use it. The staff at check in was friendly and helpful and he gave us two free bottles of water.

You have to pay for self parking $25/day.

Everything was good the room was nice and big.

While our stay here someone hit our car and there were no cameras to see this. Thankfully after a few hrs someone notified us that the person who hit us reported it. However, we asked for the report from the hotel staff and they couldn’t provide it to us directly. Which is unfortunate because we were the ones that were hit.

The beds and pillows were clean. The pillows are very cozy. The temperature of the room was set perfectly and kept the room very comfortable.

Refrigerator never seemed to get very cold.

Never got coffee replaced in my room. I had to go to front desk and ask for it twice.

We loved the spaciousness and cleanliness of our room. My daughter and I stayed for the night and had a great nights sleep. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was very quiet and the curtains blocked out the right amount of light. We also used the room off of the lobby and found it to be quite useful for games and dinner. It was well designed and lovely to hang out in. We loved the hotel and look forward to coming back

Netflix on TV is excellent, room layout was good. The interior was newly furnished.

The laundry was terrible, charging by a very stupid system called shinepay which is hard or impossible to be accessed. Tried hours effort and have to give up. The traditional bank card or paid by Apple Pay should be fine. Instead of doing laundry here, I went outside which is miles away. I stay a long time in this hotel. It is very inconvenient if I can’ do laundry here. Hope it can be solved.

Every thing was Very clean and neat. Room was clean, comfortable well organized and quiet. The staff was kind, cheerful, helpful and gracious. The rooms had all the amenities with plenty of soap. Shampoo. Conditioner, water bottles and towels. I had a very comfortable stay.

Location and cleanliness

My neighbor in room 112 was having a party until the wee hours of 2am and I could not sleep and was shaken awake by all the activity and loud talking among many people. Extremely disturbing

Spacious warm food laundromat was available nearby inside the hotel

Room was not 100% clean there was trash left behind under one of the beds plastic cup from McDonald’s to be specific and the customer service was not great. It was just good.

Didn’t like that there was no direction when we had a false fire alarm at 3:30 am no one to tell us it was false or where to go or anything! That needs some work especially if it had been a real one!

I really appreciate Lisette in the catering department. Whenever I come she remembers my breakfast. I enjoy talking with her. Very professional she is always one of the staff faces I look forward to seeing.

I do not like your breakfast options. Can you please think about adding instead of that sausage add in beacon, turkey beacon. Pancakes or waffles? and egg omelets? Just a more verity for your customers like myself who are on a strict diet plan . Please at least the beacon would be good.

The Restaurant and bar were excellent. Nice gym and place do laundry.

Shower area not cleaned very well. There was mold on soap holder shelf in shower. The noise was very loud from people walking above my room due to each room having tile installed from the entry door to the bed area. In the future, I would recommend vinyl plank flooring or carpet to reduce foot traffic noise in rooms below. Soap and lotion dispensers were not replenished as stated from cleaning service.
