Comfortable bed, well equipped room, nicely decorated, ability to use shared kitchen facilities & nice touch with the San Pellegrino water for the rooms, albeit all the snacks had been nabbed already by the time we arrived.

On street parking was on a busy, steep hill, so we ended up a long way down the hill making us question whether we wanted to go out for dinner & risk losing our precious spot. Room deceptively smaller than pictures & description suggests, just down the road from the fire station so rigs going out throughout the night & then woke to vomit all over the doorstep. Whilst these are not all the responsibility of the property owners they impacted on the quality of our stay.

The Art House is fantastic - a beautiful place with fantastic rooms and facilities. It is so peaceful and quiet at night - we had a great sleep. The bed was so comfy.

Absolument parfait. Un accueil des plus agréables et chaleureux. La maison est elle-aussi chaleureuse, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, et propose de gentilles attentions aux voyageurs. La chambre est bien confortable et très propre. Le petit-déjeuner (pris à quelques pas) est parfait. Pas de parking privé, mais des facilités pour se garer gratuitement dans la rue.

Peut-être un peu éloigné (mais vraiment très peu) de l'hyper-centre. Négatif pour certains mais pas vraiment pour nous. La chambre est un peu petite pour plusieurs jours si vous avez plusieurs valises.

Great value for money.

Beautifully decorated accommodation in walking distance from Derry's main attractions. Our room had a lovely view of the hills. Free on street parking and really helpful staff - thank you Emmet and David!

The whole experience was 5*. From check in to check out. Connor was so amazing at check in. Attention to detail in the property was.on point. This is one property I will definitely be going back to again and again.

There was nothing to dislike

Camera e bagno puliti. Tutto arredato in maniera molto bella e curata. Molta attenzione alla clientela, c'erano a disposizione caffè, latte, dolcetti e bibite. Avevano anche predisposto un ventilatore in stanza in casi avessimo caldo. Lo staff è stato molto gentile e ci ha spiegato in maniera chiara tutto quanto. Parcheggio gratuito in loco che non è una cosa da poco.

This place is a class act. A converted town house, imaginatively decorated with a mixture of vintage and modern furniture and fittings and themed graphic design. Rooms are not big (it's an old house after all) but are very comfortable. The public areas include an immaculate well appointed kitchen, a dining room with a coffee machine and a luxurious sitting room. Breakfast, which is taken in an equally handsome town house (The Lawrence) a few doors away, is ordered in advance. The options, including for vegetarians and vegans are many and delicious. We enjoyed the many little extras such as snacks, water, soft drinks and also the optional (and good value for money) walking tour of Derry's walls and the Bogside area provided by one of the staff. Cafes, restaurants, shops and buses are a short walk away and it's not far on foot to the any of the main visitor attractions. Staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. A really great welcome to the city.

Le confort de la chambre. La présence d'une cuisine même si nous ne l'avons finalement pas utilisée.

Je connaissais déjà cet hôtel et j'étais très contente d'y retourner exprès 2 ans après. C'était une pépite magnifique et chaleureuse avec beaucoup de soins apportés aux détails. J'ai été déçue car il n'est plus aussi bien que la dernière fois où j'y étais. Sans doute qu'il est victime de son succès. Le petit déjeuner est bon mais avant il était particulièrement excellent, la carte a changé, sûrement pour s'adapter à la clientèle. Juste pour information, la chambre pour 3 avec salle de bain privée est au dernier étage sans ascenseur. Pas de possibilité d'avoir plusieurs clés, ce qui n'est pas pratique. Soit il faut adapter les plannings de chacun, soit il faut déranger la personne de l'accueil qui est dans l'autre maison. La communication a été chaotique, ce n'était jamais la même personne avec qui j'étais en contact donc mes interlocuteurs n'étaient pas au courant des échanges précédents.

Quando siamo entrati nella struttura siamo rimasti a bocca aperta! Si tratta di edifici d'epoca ben conservati e tenuti alla perfezione dallo staff. La posizione è comoda per raggiungere a piedi il centro della città ed è comodissimo il parcheggio gratuito davanti all'appartamento. La struttura offre molti servizi, dalla cucina super attrezzata, alla stanza per il tè o il caffè, dalla possibilità di fare una colazione ottima (porridge da provare) al tour guidato della città. Assolutamente consigliato!

Eravamo in 20 amici quindi abbiamo occupato tutta la casa. Devo dire che la casa era molto bella, con tante camere doppie con servizi autonomi. Ci siamo trovati bene e lo staff di accoglienza è stato molto gentile

Zeer propere en mooi ingerichte accommodatie. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Rustige kamer en omgeving. Hartelijke ontvangst met persoonlijke rondleiding en welkomstdrankje.

Fantastische accomodatie. Zelden zo goed en bijzonder meegemaakt. Geheel in stijl, authentiek ingericht. Veel kunst aan en op de muren, Toulouse Lautrec, Klimt. Prachtuge meubels, trappenhuis, muurschilderi gen en bijzonder behang. Heel veel ruimte met verschillende algemene vertrekken.

Niets viel tegen, telkens werden we positief verrast.

The location up the hill wasn’t ideal

Absolutely everything, the stunning 1920s/period decor, the complementary snacks and friendliness of the staff, the kitchen and indoor courtyard, the beautiful lounge and fantastic breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed just sitting at the bay window with a good book in our spare time. We found ourselves rushing through our appointments to allow more time to unwind in the Art House. A truly relaxing experience. We will be back :)

Die außer dem Zimmer nutzbaren Räumlichkeiten sind großzügig, hübsch und praktisch. Es gibt kleine Süßigkeiten und Softdrinks, die zur kostenfreien Nutzung angeboten werden. Man ist in kurzer Zeit zu Fuß im Zentrum, das Auto kann kostenfrei in der Straße parken. Das Personal ist super freundlich.

Das Doppelzimmer wäre besser ein Einzelzimmer, denn das Bett war für zwei Personen, die nicht frisch verliebt sind, eine Zumutung. Nur 1,40m breit und mit extrem weicher Matratze, ungeeignet für ältere Menschen oder solche mit Rückenproblemen.

I would highly recommend staying here. The property was so comfortable and clean. They really kept to the period of the property with its interior and class. The breakfast was very enjoyable a must have when you’re staying here. David on the main desk was absolutely wonderful and a real asset to the team.

The property itself is situated on a hill. The reception area is based in another building so you do have to mindful of walking up and down a hill when going to and from the property. I couldn’t fault my stay.

Es war das schönste Guesthouse ever! es war sehr gemütlich, liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert, die Gemeinschaftsräume sind einladend sowie die Küche, wo man wirklich kochen kann. Die Lage nah am Zentrum. Alles sieht genau wie auf den Fotos aus. Vielen Dank für so viel Aufmerksamkeit und Liebe zum Detail!

The property was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Had a well equipped kitchen with a dining area if required. Free tea, coffee and milk. Complimentary chocolates and drinks.

Only thing was the shower in Room 1 we had a bit of difficulty getting it the right temperature.

It was like a home from home, the little touches and amenities on offer were great. I would highly recommend staying here. Great for tourists or those wanting to escape and have a wee staycation. 10/10 .... I would come back again!!

Great property, spotless with additional facilities to use, we had a private bathroom and wonderful staff, who looked after us at breakfast.

It is on a hill on the outskirts of the centre, which may be difficult for some. Just mentioning this as may be a problem for some people. Taxi’s reasonable for trip back!

We liked that the property was clean.

I was really disappointed with our stay this year. We stayed here last year and had such a great experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming, we were even given a complimentary room upgrade, and it made us excited to come back. Unfortunately, this year’s stay was completely different. On arrival, we didn’t receive the same warm welcome and the overall customer service felt much less friendly. The room we were given was very small and, to our surprise, didn’t even have a bathroom inside the room, which was extremely inconvenient and not something we expected. The room was also unbearably hot, and unlike last year, there wasn’t even a fan provided. This made it very uncomfortable, especially at night, and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. We also asked if it would be possible to upgrade our room, but we were told there were no rooms available. However, when we checked the hotel’s website shortly afterwards, there appeared to be upgraded rooms available for the exact same dates and length of stay we had booked. This was frustrating and left us feeling like our request wasn’t properly considered. It’s such a shame because we had such a positive experience before and were really looking forward to returning. Sadly, this visit didn’t live up to our previous stay, and for the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard of comfort and customer service. Based on this experience, I’m not sure we would choose to stay here again unless there are significant improvements.

Musty old wardrobe and chest of drawers, not my taste and too large for the size of room. Maybe an upcycle on them might make it look better. One area that would need addressing, closing the curtains there was a large fabric pin sticking out which nearly caught my hand, could provide a nasty cut. Weak coffee and little choice for herbal tea. Too many e mails from property before arrival. Let people know where to check in on first email issued.

We knew we had an external bathroom but we did not realise that it was down a short corridor and short flight of stairs past other rooms. We had a lock and key so no one else could use it which was good.

Lovely atmosphere, very quiet and comfortable, easy walk to town center. Kitchen facilities were a bonus.

It was nice but my room was a bit dusty and the window directly above my room has some moulds. Apart from that, it was a nice experience.

The theme of the House in every room including bathroom

We both had suitcases and the room was too tight to open them

Beautifully decorated, great to have access to a kitchen and eating area, to self cater. We also took advantage of going for the cooked breakfast one morning, and hot rolls and juice delivered to our room another morning.

It wasn't a deal breaker, but we were up in the attic room, and the tea making facilities were several flights of stairs down in the kitchen which was a bit of a pain (get in, head up to the room to go to the loo, then think about going down and back up again to make tea). Like I said, it wasn't a deal breaker, but since you asked, that's what I didn't like.

Our stay was brilliant from start to finish. The responsive and helpful messages from Emmett prior to our stay, offering extra activities and advise were .such appreciated. During our stay the facilities, the decor, the staff and everything in-between was excellent. We added on the cocktail making to our stay and Dave was fantastic. He entertained and educated us with all things cocktail related. I would recommend a stay to anyone!

Great location, amazing house, rooms.

The esthetics of this Victorian house, updated with every amenity that one could want is the entire package. The staff are wonderful, Emmet and David and the cleaning lady went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable and memorable.

I was on holiday and arrived with a tummy bug contacted in another country Germany so was in the recovering stage Not being 100% was nothing to do with the hotel but my problem and something I did not like.

Very good location with a beautiful view, the street is old and you can enjoy a walk directly towards the river. The stuff are really friendly, and the place is very nice: it’s almost new, very clean, comfortable bed and fresh towels. If you want to cook by your own there is a common kitchen equipped with everything.

Room is a little small. Was fine for me on my own for 2 nights, but would be cramped for more than one person or longer stay. However, price was very competitive compared to locations closer to centre, and I would stay here again

I didn’t like the bathroom being away from the room , but I chose that , i knew the layout on booking . But if I had to comment I think en suites are always preferable

Wonderful stay at the art house! The staff were incredibly friendly, the interior was beautiful, and the location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to the city centre, food market, restaurants, and supermarkets. Highly recommended.
