Not the high standard claimed, terrible customer service from operator when trying to improve the state of the apartment.

Fantastic location in a lovely part of Falmouth, close to Gyllnevase beach with its lovely beach cafe/ bar. Also a short 15 min stroll in to the centre of Falmouth. Views from the property were fabulous. Very nice kitchen and bathrooms. Beds very comfortable too.

Soft furnishings have seen better days, especially sofa and arm chair. Couldn’t use the frying pan either as the coating was scratched and all falling apart.

Great location for a family holiday. Beach just opposite. Good size accommodation with everything you need. You could stay here and not have to go far all you need close by. Wasn't sure what to expect because of price i paid in school holidays but was very pleasantly surprised. Will def use again

Cost of taking a dog to stay at the property seems excessive, especially as property garden is not enclosed. Only two outside garden chairs (one of which was broken), no clothes dryer, the bifold doors lock was broken so couldn’t fully open bifolds. No cheese grater in kitchen. Should be clearer on property photos of each apartment or add floor plan.

Disgusting settee in the lounge very dirty and stained. Useless wi fi two people could not be on at same time. Worse than snail pace this problem was supposed to have been resolved two years back when my daughter complained to management

Perfect location close next to two lovely beaches and close to town. Amazing views. Great kitchen with everything we needed and very clean. We have already booked to come again next year.

Disappointing that there was no welcome pack/ dishwasher tablets etc, considering the price for a weekend. We had a problem with one of the toilets, lots of phone calls before someone finally bothered to get back to us

On a positive note the location is great - 10 minute walk to Events Square in town and 10 mins down the promenade to Gylly Beach so from that point of view they cannot be criticised, the bed we had was comfortable and the apartment was spotlessly clean.

I don’t like writing poor reviews but for the sake of other people’s holidays I feel that on this occasion I should. We stayed at these “lodges” (they are not lodges, they are apartments) for 4 nights in June this year and we had myriad problems - some of which were temporarily fixed during our stay, some weren’t and due to the terrible terrible internet provision some couldn’t be reported until we returned home. I won’t go into detail as I don't want to bore people but suffice to say that they are in need of renovation and better management. Simple items like surface spray, tea towels, washing up sponges, dust pan, sufficient glassware were just not provided - we had washing up liquid and kitchen roll but that was it. There were a few items that were broken in the apartment too such as the window locks, toilet seats and kitchen sink. The outdoor furniture wasn’t in a great state either and there were only 2 chairs even though the apartment slept 6 - it’s little things like this that make for a very average holiday accommodation or a great one. I have waited a week to post my reviews of these apartments as I wanted to give the owners a chance to respond to my complaint, however 7 days on from sending an email to them I am yet to hear from them - maybe they’ll respond to me when they see my review. ***EDIT*** it is now 3 weeks since I contacted Richardson Hotel Group about the condition of the apartments and I also completed a survey that they asked me to complete which, they said, would be reviewed by management. Suffice to say I have not heard back from anyone - it's shame as the apartments could be great. Please heed my warning that if something goes wrong you are unlikely to get any help from Richardson Hotel Group.

Good Position, own parking and size good..Good beds and bedding.. Good towels.

Minimal kitchen equipment, e.g. missing cork screw and odd numbers of items. Pans cheap and wobbled badly on gas rings.

Pas d'internet. La borne WiFi n'est pas connecté à Internet. J'ai appelé une première fois le support 24/24 qui devait me rappeler mais ne l'a pas fait. J'ai appelé une deuxième fois et je suis tombé sur le SPA de l'hôtel de Torquay qui ne pouvait pas régler mon problème. Bref pas d'internet via le WiFi pendant tout le séjour.

Fabulous views Very impressed with the size of the accommodation, plenty of storage for clothes. Kitchen had everything you needed.

Lack of communication when there was an issue. No Internet!!

Location is fabulous right on the beach and a short stroll into the town centre. Rooms met the brief and was tidy.

I came to Falmouth for a conference , The room had no mobile coverage inside the unit, and the internet was not working (nor did they give details of the WiFi SSID to connect to. I made contact on the 2nd day to enquire on getting the internet working and response was they would send someone around, contacted them day 3 (had work to do) when someone acknowledged that it was unavailable at the time and they'd see what compensation could be offered - no response. It met 1 of my criteria (close to town) but made it impossible to travel for work - and could have been highlighted prior to my stay. Disappointing

Location was lovely though view spoilt by formats of rear of properties which could be made more of.

Expected phone signals to be patchy and welcome pack did say WiFi was also. What they actually should have said is WiFi is non existent to the point won’t even accept users. Meaning no phone, internet or smart tv.

Location was excellent and had everything we needed in the lodge. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean.

The WiFi was terrible/ non existent and 4G signal did not work inside the property so WiFi would have come in handy.

The TV stand and coffee table were very shabby with veneer broken from them and there were water marks around the lounge window. More importantly the blind chain in the lounge were not attached to the safety bracket and therefore a major health and safety concern. The fan in the main bathroom squealed when on. Most of all though was the absence of any Internet was a major problem All 3 TVs relied on the Internet to receive any programming. Therefore there was no TV working. Fortunately we had fab weather but any children or teenagers would find this very distressing. Emily ( a receptionist) was brilliant and asked for maintenance to help. After this we could only access sky news intermittently.

Advert was deceiving, this is an apartment not a house/lodge. Sofas were shabby, uncomfortable and too small. Lounge/kitchen too small. Windows poor and could feel drafts and was noisy. We had a significant leak, took ages to get someone to respond, no one repaired, no one apologised, no compensation.

Location can’t be faulted lovely view, even better now the parking in front of the units has been stopped. Parking behind the units is handy.

Desperately needs a refresh furniture is old worn and damaged, barely enough utensils etc to be used for cooking. The patios really need to be enclosed to be truly pet and children friendly. WiFi is awful, don’t rely on it if you need to work.

The boiler was so noisy it sounded like a ships foghorn right outside the door. We thought it might explode! I told management in a review and requested a reply. They have not bothered to reply even for this serious issue. The service sticker on the boiler suggested it may not have been serviced for many years. When I came home I spoke to a heating engineer who even before I finished speaking knew which boiler is was. He said it’s a class fault on these Ideal (the make) boilers when they are not serviced often enough. So this confirmed our fears. It’s possible they are braking the law when letting out rented accommodation without up to date services on gas appliances.....

Wifi was absolutely shocking and no TV stations plus the heating went off and I reported it over the phone and by email they got back to me when we was travelling back home.

A great find! Perfect location, great value for money! We had a 2 bedroom, it was spotless! We’d stay here again that’s for certain! Was right across the street from a beautiful pebble beach. Easy access to Falmouth town.

We booked accommodation thinking it was a house due to how the listing is presented. We ended up in ground floor apartment. It was functional and reasonable decorated. We had a problem with a grinding noise from boiler and engineer was sent the next day and able to resolve which was good. Location quiet about 10 minutes walk into main area but great with the dog to go for a walk on beach less than a minute. Views were lovely.. All the booking information said parking was not allocated but we were asked to move our car by another residence, not sure who was right. The one sofa in lounge was quite dirty and the lower bunk bed matrrss needs replacing as the springs were very promernant. The rest of the apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for a 5 day stay, we eat out a lot so didn't cook much in the apartment. We booked dog friendly accommodation but every email after said it wasn't guaranteed which was stressful as we booked last minute over a holiday. Think the listing should be split out so that it's clearer what you are booking, each unit listed sepwrately and wether your dog friendly accommodation is availabl

Closeness to the beach and bay easy walk into town

The location was perfect!!! It was clean, cosy, and the view was spectacular. I liked that it was spacious and very private considering it was on the front. There were plenty of towels, and blankets. Nice comfy sofas with a private outdoor eating area too. The big window to look over the seafront was spectacular! I felt we got so much for our money and am absolutely booking these cottages again ☺️

The kitchen was not that equipped. I guess being at the end of the season things that either got broken or misplaced were not replaced. Not enough cups, pans were tiny for cooking for a family and only about 3 glasses.

The apartment was flea infested. My husband and son got really badly bitten.We couldn’t stay there and left after 15 minutes with no place to go as arrived on a busy Friday night. Very stressful we had to turn round and go home which is over a 4 hour drive. We were all real upset and it was hugely stressful as we had saved up to have a family break.

I would have liked the terrace area to have had a fence to let little ones run in and out safely. Also a bed guard for the low bunk would have been helpful.

Simple efficient booking process good communications, easy trouble free check in - all in clean good order, fully equipped kitchen with detergent, cloths, etc. great TV sets with streaming channels available to sign into. Great balcony with uninterrupted sea view over entire bay (1st & 2nd floor). allocated large parking space easily fit big SUV in. Room well insulated from noise from other rooms. Clean bathrooms & good showers - soap in pump bottle supplied - but no shampoo or conditioner - only 2 towels per bed (1 bath & 1 hand) so at full occupancy you would need to wash & dry them during stay - no housekeeping provided - overall excellent & recommended

Die Lage war super, die Stadt, das Schloss und auch die Strände waren zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch andere Sehenswürdigkeiten in Cornwall waren mit dem Auto innerhalb von 45-60 Minuten zu erreichen. Der Bahnhof war auch zu Fuß zu erreichen, falls man auf den Linksverkehr etwas verzichten wollte.

Die Internetverbindung war oft nicht gut und es gab keine deutschen Fernsehprogramme, das sollte man wissen, wenn man nach England fährt. Ein grösserer Topf hat gefehlt.

Clean and welcoming. Quality bedding and large towels. Had everything we needed. Great. Staff very helpful and polite with a minor issue- resolved quickly.

Love the location of these Lodges - close to Falmouth town, nearby beaches and Pendennis Castle. The apartments are very comfortable with fabulous views. Great to get somewhere with a parking space in Falmouth.

The WiFi is terrible - as is the 4G signal. We couldn't even use iplayer on the TV. There were a few things in short supply - such as hangers and mugs, but we managed. We didn't call the number given - so maybe this could have been resolved, but we were busy with graduation initially. Oh yes - the intercom didn't work either.

A well equipped comfortable 2 bedroom lodge. Tricky coded key box, but persistence worked. Lovely 20 min walk to town centre.

It was a very hot wkend, so it was very warm at night. Only noticed a fan in the cupboard when we were leaving. Also it would have been nice to have beach towels supplied. Especially as it’s such a swimming beach area.

Apartments are very nice and modern and are fully equipped with everything you need . The location is perfect 5 mins to the beach and a short walk to the town. A nice patio area outside on th e ground floor to enjoy on a sunny day.

We have stayed here before and they have now moved the car parking out the back of the building and not out the front in the gravel area where it previously was which was easier. 10 am check out is too early it needs to be later and to have the cleaner waiting outside the door at 09:50 when you are trying to load up the car makes you feel that you are being pushed out! The roller blinds in the bedroom let the light in at 5am and woke us all up blackout blinds please!
