Super Lage, sehr sauber und stilvoll.

Nachts ließ sich die Badtüre nicht mehr öffnen. Im Hotel gab es keinen Menschen mehr. Früh um 7 wurde es dann aufgeschraubt. Dann gab’s kein Frühstück, da der Koch nicht da war. Kann alles passieren, aber einen Nachlass hätte ich als minimale Entschädigung erwartet. Fehlanzeige. Das schwächt die Beurteilung erheblich.

Room 1 ( Muriel ), is a gorgeous room with good facilities, lovely decor & stunning views across the busy harbour.

TBF we were told it can be pretty raucous on an evening - It does quieten down but don’t plan on an early night. The occasional maintenance issue in my room. However, this is an older building & it may well be awaiting “End of Season” to be rectified.

Das Boutique-Hotel hat einen einzigartigen Charme und sehr sympathische - hauptsächlich jüngere - Mitarbeiter. Wir haben an beiden Abenden im Hoteleigenen Restaurant gegessen, weil die Qualität sehr gut war. Die Lage am Hafen - mitten im Zentrum - war großartig, ebenso die unmittelbar neben dem Hotel gelegenen Einkehr-Möglichkeiten. Sehr schönes großes Zimmer. Absolut empfehlenswert.

The shower head over the bath is way too low for someone over 6 feet tall.

We had a really enjoyable stay. The room was very comfortable , spacious and clean with an amazing view over the harbour. The staff were extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was also perfect. We particularly enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar and restaurant, which had a really welcoming and relaxed feel. We ate there at night and also in the morning, it was stunning. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

Bathroom sink was as good as out of order for three days. Restaurant food was variable but on the whole verging on poor. No parking on site can be an issue.

Position is very cool, right in the water! and spectacular view. Room spacious and comfortable.

Service was sloooow. We skipped breakfast on day 2 as we couldnt face the wait. Menu great, food ok. Steep stairs, awkward access, indifferent welcome.

Der Chainlocker liegt super zentral, mitten am Hafen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück ausgezeichnet!

The hotel had breathtaking views of the harbour and the sea beyond. The bed was comfortable and the room was beautifully decorated and had a hairdryer, toiletries, a coffee machine and tea making facilities. Dinner in the restaurant was tasty and service was efficient and friendly. Breakfast was nice too and the view from our table was great - the buffet part of breakfast was fairly spartan but the hot food from the menu more than compensated and plenty of delicious coffee.

No hot water so we had to have cold showers - not great as I had to wash my long hair too. Two cans of beer for free but no fridge to chill them so we couldn't make use of the offer. No air-conditioning - there was a fan which was quite noisy. The barman in the main downstairs bar was a bit sullen (all of the other staff were so friendly and helpful).

Great location and the room had so much character! We stayed for one night whilst walking on the South West Coast Path and only wish that we could have stayed longer. Great breakfast and friendly staff who made us feel at home throughout our stay.

I've been visiting for a few years and some decorating could do with a refresh now, but it didn't spoil anything.

Erg kleine kamer, dit itt wat de fotos op booking laten zien. Er was geen plek voor de koffer en badkamer was piepklein. Parkeerlokatie op afstand. Op zich ok. Ze noemen er twee, neem de eerste, de andere kan google niet vinden

Location was perfect, scenic and convenient. Plenty to see, do, drink and eat! Comfortable bed, slept like a log. Fantastic breakfast. We will come again.

A little hot though it was a heatwave at the time. Fan was perfect. Shower a little snug for a muscular man!

The location was great, it was a bit loud as part of a bar but we knew and absolutely had no problem with this as formed part of its great charm.

Die Lage ist unschlagbar und der Blick aus dem Restaurant ganz besonders schön. Die MitarbeiterInnen sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Restaurant gab es die ein oder andere Servicekraft, die ein weinig uninteressiert war, aber generell hat der Service gestimmt.

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Man kann den Koffer nicht öffnen außer auf dem Bett. Die Dusche war voller Schimmel.

Breakfast was generally ok with nice coffee an attentive service but the cook does not know what scrambled egg should look like or taste like.

Food in the pub was sub-standard, both in choice, quantity, and quality. My wife ordered scallops and 3 less than one inch diameter appeared on a plate with some unidentifiable sauce dibbled across them.

Localització inmillorable, la habitació nº6 te unes vistes fantàstiques del port i es molt amplia. Es una casa molt antiga restaurada amb cura i detall. Molt bon esmorzar.

Dinner reservation was a shambles, waited 20 minutes to be seated, another half hour for order to be taken, sub par food arrived, drinks didn't, wasn't even that busy, will go elsewhere next time.

Great location, historic quirky building, nice pub and outside area right in the centre of the harbour. Restaurant was warm, good ambiance and offered a wide selection of food choices plus a fantastic cooked-from-fresh breakfast. Staff were great and helpful.

Our double room was as v small and compact, but had everything in it for a good, short, one-night stay. Parking is difficult in Falmouth, so try not to drive down to the pub location on Quay St, as the harbour-master may issue you with a fine from harbour camera's. Park in The Dell Railway/Long-Stay which is about 5-7 mins walk away, not ideal if you have a lot of luggage or if it's raining !

Really lovely stay at The Chainlocker, very clean, and the location was brilliant. All the staff were friendly and helpful, would recommend as a place to stay and would be happy to come back again.

This is probably more personal preference, but I would have liked a second pillow on the bed. One pillow wasn't enough, and it was a little flat.

Breakfast if you wish a hot option was brill...but very sparse otherwise.

The room overlooked the harbour and was great. Unfortunately during summer you need window open and all you could smell was the kitchen food prep and noise of the extract fan....and constant bottle recycling !

We really enjoyed our breakfast. The view from the restaurant was wonderful. The staff were very friendly. :)

The location, staff and rooms were lovely, bathroom was excellent with a rainfall shower and the breakfast was excellent!

At 5am, there were very loud sounds in the street outside as the bottle bins were emptied - not the fault of the venue though.

I’ve stayed before. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, the room “small but perfect” and set in the centre of town on the edge of the water, ideal for visiting my son who’s at uni in Falmouth. Nice details such as the lighting, and the automated nightlights in the bathroom 👍 Great breakfast included, as was the lovely waterfront view of the boaty harbour.

I’d freshen up the bathroom silicone in the shower, and the limescale on one corner of the outside. A nit but you did ask.
