Staff were welcoming and pleasant. Space for breakfast was good as we had a dog with us. Our room was comfortable, clean and facilities were good
The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was better than a basic hotel but not luxurious. There was no background noise in the room We were able to use Netflix on the big screen TV, which was a bonus. We really liked the Forest of Bowland that we came to visit and on one wet day we greatly enjoyed the Harris in the otherwise unremarkable Preston town centre
The breakfast had a wide range of food on offer, though one or two things were unavailable on the last day of our stay. Some hot food did not benefit from sitting in warming trays
Pillows awful noisey throughout the night
Slept like a baby
Did not have breakfast
Very expensive
Grounds and Heritage very impressive. Breakfast and facilities good
Rooms not overly soundproof. Noisy mattress springs
No complaints, clean, peaceful and couldn’t do enough for us.
No complaints
Convenient location in Preston for what I needed when I was moving house. Good food, comfortable bed and large tv.
My room on the ground floor was rather dark, I think the rooms on the other side of the corridor had more light. Lumpy, hard pillows.
Quiet with good spa
The breakfast and location were great.
The bed! Mattress from 2008 and the springs had gone. Very uncomfortable nights sleep
Lovely setting & great location as we were visiting relatives nearby
Would have liked a fridge in the room … think there was one but locked
Very friendly and helpful staff who were very welcoming.
Bed slightly lumpy
Great breakfast, loads of choices.
Room had not been cleaned too well, some old contact lenses on the bedside table!!.
The bath and toilet rim needed cleaning I used the lobby toilets, only one towel, and 3 small pillows on the bed which felt old and lumpy overall a bad night sleep, breakfast as always was lovely though
The dirty bathroom
Good selection of food, good value for money, staff are very attentive

Very clean good breakfast
Only 3 pillow not very good ones should of been 4 for 2 people only one towel not enough for 2 people
There were no English sockets anywhere near the bed. My partner has sever sleep apnea and requires a Cpac machine and there was no where to plug it in by the bed. We were given two extension leads to plug together but this wasn’t ideal!
Breakfast was lovely. Staff were also lovely.
We would have loved a golf course and perhaps all inclusive breakfast with the price of the hotel
Location and actually room was nice
Room not ready at check time and leisure club staff not the friendliest
Staff are very welcoming and helpful.
All satisfactory
Our stay at the property was thoroughly delightful, characterized by an atmosphere of refined comfort and exceptional hospitality. While the accommodations themselves were pristine and inviting, the true standout of our experience was the remarkable evening front desk team. Upon our late arrival, the two gentlemen on duty at the reception orchestrated a seamless, effortless check-in process that instantly set a welcoming tone. They went remarkably above and beyond our expectations, graciously assisting us with a room upgrade that elevated our entire experience. Their impeccable professionalism, warm disposition, and unwavering dedication to guest satisfaction are a true credit to the establishment. We left thoroughly impressed and eagerly anticipate our next visit.
All good.
Lovely hotel . Staff were very friendly and the room was ready before check in time . We had use of the gym and pool
The room was quite small and the windows did not open . Although there was aircon it would have been nice for fresh air. We have been more comfortable in a Travelodge/premier inn .
Could do with more disabled parking I was unable to park nearer to hotel entrance as positions already occupied.
Fruit yogurts honey and porridge for breakfast please.
Room very nice little dated but still had everything
Did the gym pool sauna steam room . Lovely evening meal and staff very nice especially the reception and and the lady taking the room numbers at Breckfast.

Beautiful location
Mattress was a little soft
The breakfast area was well stocked with a variety of food. Clean and ample room between tables.
We go to Bristol Marriott sometimes and the staff and facilities are excellent
I thought the staff were a little bit of there was no friendless or smiles
Location and staff very helpful, breakfast buffet very good
Rooms a little cramped
Beautiful
Nothing
Everything beyond expectations Excellent Breakfast Staff Friendly & Helpful
No problem
Friendly welcome, clean room.
We had a view onto the carpark behind the hotel.
Had a great stay and will definitely stay again
The staff were really friendly
Nothing
The room is a good size, pool and gym are very good Great EV charging points!
I had no WiFi in the room and no TV as there was a fault. I asked to be moved but was told this was a temporary problem and would get fixed. It didnt! I had to work in the bar as the only place I could get a signal, very hard to have meetings with clients on line with so much background noise. I got several looks when having to make calls. When I asked again about the TV I was told by a receptionist to play with the buttons on the controller. That didn’t work. I could get some sounded, but no picture. When I complained in the morning, I was told I wouldn’t get TV signal as all connected to the WiFi system. I was told it’s one of those things that happens. I felt very undervalued and disappointed. Having previously stayed I. The same hotel, I won’t be staying again
Everything was exceptional.
There are no comments as everything I'd rate was a 9.
Excellent facilities Bedrooms lovely Lovely area - check out the Indian restaurant on the road (opposite coop) phenomenal ! Lots of parking
A little expensive for the dog… £30 per stay
The facilities and the room was nice.
The food and the way the staff handled our complaint. I also didn't like that the hotel charged my card and took a pre-authorised payment, which took a week to be paid even though a payment had been made. If these issues wouldn't have occurred I would have given it a ten. The hotel needs to work on how they handle their complaints as communication was poor.
Lived our stay, staff are very welcoming.
The bedding provided was unsatisfactory, leading to two nights of disturbed sleep. Additionally, the constant noise from doors throughout the night was disruptive. This issue was brought to the attention of the staff, but no resolution was provided for the inconvenience experienced.
The noise in the rooms
The food was lovely and staff friendly.
The double bed was small and uncomfortable
Great gardens , good location
Bat closed very early on Saturday night. Our party came at 11 after a family celebration and wanted to chat but no bar open. Staff were kind but it was an evening curtailed.
The property is ideally located off M6 but in a quiet setting. On arrival the staff were helpful and friendly. We did have a complaint in the dining room but that was dealt with perfectly. Again the staff were helpful and friendly.
A porter to help with luggage would have been helpful. Clearer directions to exit the car park were needed.
Was meant to stay there yesterday, the hotel had been booked for Months. Phoned a week before as I needed an early check in, no notes were put on the system. Staff were very rude and not willing to even try an accommodate the early check in. Had to go and find another hotel to get an early check in. I won’t be staying at a Marriott again. Staff need customer service training
Love the swimming pool, gym and grounds. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was very expensive.
Wonderful staff, great parking and great location just off M6
Accommodation and food were both very good and would certainly recommend to friends and family.
No negatives
It was convenient from the motorway. It has on sidte parking.
No air con in the room, no plug by the side of the bed, bar closing at 22:30 instead of 23:00 even though people in bar wanting a drink
The staff were just incredible. They took such good care of us to make sure we had an amazing time.
Nothing at all.
Ample parking, wonderful breakfast. Lots of lockers in the changing rooms for the leisure facilities.
Small double beds, small room. Issues with lamps not working, no main light. Air conditioning was a large unit on the floor which was very noisy. Small bathroom. Only a very small amount of lotions in the bathroom so we ran out and only a very small amount of (cheap quality) toilet roll so not enough for 4 people. Hardly any plug sockets. Only one cabinet between 2 ‘double’ beds so no storage for the outer side of the bed. The temperature of the jacuzzi was the same as the pool so not heated. The pool is quite small. Only 2 teabags in room and hardly any sugar so had to ask for more. Booked a deluxe room but was told it was a standard family room.
The gym was excellent really well equipped Tables well spread out for breakfast Friendly helpful staff
Room too warm could not open window very wide and no control for air con
Food, friendly houskeeping staff
Attitude of reception staff. Raising a cocern and still 2 hours later nothing done about it.
Friendly staff and breakfast. There was a swimming pool and it was good to meet friends in the bar. The popcorn machine in the entrance foyer was a lovely novelty.
It was difficult to find. We missed the turning off the roundabout. The room was average compared to places we have stayed before and no real view.
N/A
Facilities in rooms need updating. Particularly bathroom sealant and cleanliness of the whole room. No water pressure in the shower and radiators could not be turned on. No provision of a fridge in a deluxe room. Entrance into room is not suitable for wheelchair users, it is far too narrow. Disabled parking is very limited and the 2 spaces at the overflow carpark are met with steps into the hotel via the gym/spa entrance, which was closed early on Saturday; meaning an uneven walk around the building in poorly lit conditions on uneven ground. Overall a disappointing stay.
I liked everything about our stay at the hotel in Preston.
Nothing to report.
The service was what other hotels should aspire to be.
Great location, rooms were spacious and comfortable. Staff were attentive and felt welcome.
More variety at breakfast would have been better
Good food
Air conditioning in room had a loud alarm that went off periodically right through the night. Very aggravatign and ruined what would have been a good stay.
Room, staff, facilities
Lack of gluten free options in the restaurant
Very good breakfast and facilities, however could have improve on the bathroom facility and the shower room
The gardens and spa
プールがよかった。 夕飯がおいしかった。 いくつか水と炭酸水、氷の給水所があった。
ベッドが柔らかくで合わなかった
Beautiful building and grounds. Well furnished and decorated. Excellent breakfast. Great size bed and room ( king room). Nice toiletries in bathroom. Friendly staff.
No plug sockets by the bed for charging phone. Not enough tea, sugar and milk provided for stay.
Clean room, good tea and coffee, gym was very comprehensive.
Fridge space door was screwed shut with a screw. No fridge, had to give away my stilton.
The evening meal and breakfast was excellent
Nothing all good
Convenient for what we wanted
Beds were comfortable
We were upgraded which was an added bonus
View from the room
It’s a beautiful hotel, with lovely staff and in a great location
I thought the inside the hotel was a bit dated
Everything
Nothing
Staff.
Food. Sent back twice.
Good hotel close to motorway with nice breakfast.
friendly efficient staff
the espresso coffee served in the bar was far too weak
The staff were all very helpful, including those on the reception to the fitness suite The gym was very well equipped.
I had a problem connecting my phone to the TV and the WiFi was a bit of a faff to connect to. The bed was comfy, however with the hot weather I think having the option of a separate sheet to the duvet (which was definitely not a summer weight one) would have been good.
Had all the things you needed and all the necessities great spa and pool.
Everything was great. Maybe pool was a bit busy at times.
Beautiful hotel. Food was delicious. Leisure centre was lovely with a good leisure activity time table
Nothing
Convenience in terms of accessibility
None
Nice beds and rooms
Noise from neighbouring room, had to move
We stayed here during the weekend, the hotel is clean and tidy, the staff are helpful and the rooms are nice. just a short car ride away from Blackpool sea front (25mins), great if you want to enjoy the busy sea front during the day and retreat to the quiet countryside in the evening.
Great location, easy parking and good sized room. Friendly welcoming staff
Food and drinks in restaurant expensive and not particularly good.
Lovely surroundings peaceful hotel
To many dog's even dog's at breakfast not good
Good location, not far off M6 motorway.
Very noisy with little sound proofing. Screaming children running and screaming from 7am. Very basic. Bathroom akin to Travelodge. Off brand coffee for nespresso machine- worst I have ever tasted in hotel.
Location was peaceful
The hotel was very convenient for the event we were attending at Lytham St Annes Golf Club. It was in a lovely setting and the old building was very pretty. Lots of secure parking. The breakfast was very nice
We were in the deluxe double room, which was still very small. The towels were quite thread bear and small. The wifi was very slow. The rooms just needed some loving care and attention. For the evening meal, there was only a bar menu, which was very limited unless you wanted burger and pizza.
Location was great. Rooms was comfortable and allowed dog to stay. Breakfast in room was good. Staff were lovely and helpful. EV charging available too. Large lawns at front of Hotel for a nice dog walk.
All was good.
Was a popular and busy hotel especially restaurant
No decaf tea or coffee in room or restaurant..
Restaurant on site was good, sauna was very good too. Very solid hotel.
Food prices were quite high.
Beautiful grounds. So quiet and peaceful despite being only 5 minutes from the M6. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food.
Good location by M6/M55 junction. Very handy EV chargepoints. Great breakfast buffet.
I felt hotel was value for money ,breakfast was excellent, but felt evening menu was a bit bland so we found a excellent Pub restaurant 10 minutes away excellent .overall brill stay ,
Evening menus, room extras ,biscuits and limited drinks a bit frugal .
It’s quiet location
The property was good. My bathroom was not properly cleaned as I expected.
Quiet, comfortable
Problems with the tv turning itself off
Had a lovely time away the people there were amazing especially Julia in the morning who sorted my gluten free breakfast out for me which was great thank you so much
Perfect,Absolutely bloody Awesome. Could not fault it.
Nothing to dislike.
£200 a night plus is taking the mick. Looked more like 3 star than 4
From checking in to checking out the staff at this hotel are about the best we have come across. This was a last minute booking and we did read some bad reviews but our experience was fabulous. From Ellie on check in , Jess from the bar and Austin on the breakfast they could not have been more welcoming and extremely helpful. Location is perfect , room was clean and well maintained, had mini fridge, iron and ironing board , good size T.V and luxurious toiletries. We upgraded and that came with bathrobes and slippers. We did dine in the bar as we have a dog . Food was good , service was excellent and prices were about right for a hotel bar. Breakfast was delicious and very well laid out . Fresh fruit, pastries, juice, cereal and if you fancied a cooked breakfast they had a great choice, try their sausages and fried bread yummy yummy. They have good size gardens if you have a dog . We are now looking to book again
It was clean and comfortable but more important the staff were friendly and efficient
N/A
Nicely located and compact near the city.
Air conditioning was bad for the July 2026 Heat The lobby and restaurant etc were cold and at low temperatures while our room was uncomfortably hot
Location and facilities
The room was tidy but not clean, lots of dust had gathered under the glass tops of the bed side cabinets.
Nice and quiet hotel.
Bit scruffy round the back
Nothing
Was promised air con would be turned on prior to to arrival. Which we requested because it was a red hot day. It was not turned on. The aircon that was provided and paid for, did not cool the room in any way and only made loud noises when in operation and made sleep unattainable.
