Dinner was ok but some things were not right. We waited to be served too long and the wine was opened before it came to the sticky table. the foil on the wine was not removed and was just left jagged on the top of the bottle. Steaks arrived to the wrong person and that was crazy. The bar man was clueless and did not do our coffee correctly and did not know what Port was and Rioja was or even Raspberry Gin so I was frustrated and it finished our stay off with a bad feeling. the next day breakfast was very good no complaints !!!

Convenient for M6 motorway. Good clean hotel with nice garden area and good food.Sunday beef roast was excellent. Barrier controlled parking an improvement.

The fact ypu have you pay £10 extra for a swim. I know this includes access to the Spa but not so good if just looking for a quick swin unwind after a long trip. Biased towards members perhaps!

The room was not perfectly clean

The hotel had a friendly vibe and it was very clean and presentable. The pool was nice and there was no noise at night time. The food was very nice also.

The room we stayed in had a table and chairs outside, and there was no privacy. There was a small wall dividing the rooms , which I think could be a bit higher to allow that privacy. I also paid for rose petals on arrival but they were not on the bed as requested. As they were only £5 I didn't want to make a fuss, but it's worth mentioning. However in the grand scheme of things, there's nothing to complain about really - lovely hotel.

Location was convenient for us travelling through. Staff are very professional. Receptionist changed our room to a ground floor as the lift was out and my wife has problems with stairs. Good breakfast.

Wasserhahn war kaputt am Waschbecken. Am Waschbecken gibt es zwei getrennte Wasserhähne einen für heißes und einen für kaltes Wasser. Somit nicht nutzbar für Händewaschen usw. Keine Ablagefläche zum Zähneputzen usw. Geschweige zum Schminken. Keine Klobürste, Fenster klemmt beim öffnen und schließen. Fenstergriff so motiviert das man beim öffnen und schließen die Hand, Finger verletzt.Tischlampe funktioniert nicht,da fest verbaut nicht entfernt bar und Reparatur nur möglich wenn man alle Schränke leert und Schränke verrückt.

I paid £117 for a double room for myself and spent £30 in the bar and £60 for a very nice meal , they tried to charge me £10 for using the spa facilities !! WHY ??? Rip off !!

It was in a great location for where we needed to be.

Having to pay extra to use the swimming pool, that is connected to the hotel. This is not a separate health club. Friendly staff members. Good breakfast choices. Average hotel.

Location was great for what we wanted

I booked a suite and paid suite prices I was told on booking there would be a bath and there wasn’t, secondly I have hypoglycaemia and it was 11oclock at night and I asked reception if there was anywhere I could get a snack or chocolates to be told a straight NO, thirdly room wasn’t ready at check in and had to wait, fourthly on the Saturday night the barrier wouldn’t lift for my car so had to ring in then when finally got to my room the room card wouldn’t work, they also didn’t top up the coffee tray in the room so was only enough for one morning brew and the tiles in the bathroom seriously needed a good clean. Just didn’t feel personal at all more like the guests are a hindrance.

We were lucky to have been moved into the new party of the hotel, wow! It was gorgeous, those is am upmarket hotel. I wasn't expecting this at all. Needless to say, we were very happy. The food was amazing at dinner and then breakfast proved once again that this hotel is tops. Will most definitely be back!

The pool was closed, was hoping to use spa facilities, despite incurring an additional cost. Told at check in the pool was closed. Furthermore we stayed on the second floor and by the end of the night, the lift was broken. Fortunately I am able bodied but at morning time I witnessed a wheelchair user being carried down the stairs! I felt embarrassed for the lady and wondered how she may have coped if there was a need to evacuate in an emergency!

Nice modern comfortable hotel. Staff very pleasant. Hotel very clean. Lovely little bar area, nice and bright. Did not eat in hotel so cannot comment on food. Room was modern, nice comfortable sleep, heavy curtains making the room nice and dark. Functional bathroom although shower over bath so may not be appropriate for someone with mobility issues. Ice machine and milk fridge on each floor was an added bonus.

Was not impressed with the fact that you have to pay to use the swimming pool!! Was told it was because it can get busy so the allocate time slots which is a great idea. Still not sure why they charge £10pp enemy you have already paid for a room!!

Not enough information when booking in at reception went to the spa and couldn’t get in because we hadn’t been given the code and a spa card Also had to pay £20 for access to the gym and swimming pool feel it should be included in the price Got to the restaurant food was fantastic and very tasty The service was a bit slow and when I tried to look at the set menu a member of staff took the food menu off me saying because I was room only I was not entitled to order off this menu which I felt was a bit strange I asked for a drinks menu and was given a wine list but I don’t drink alcohol so I ended up going up to the bar to see what drinks they had so I could order my non alcoholic drink We were not told about the free milk or ice machine we actually found it ourselves on the floor These were minor issues we felt the hotel room and service was otherwise very good and staff were friendly and helpful The whole hotel was very modern and cleanliness was excellent we enjoyed the gym and swimming pool found it very relaxing and the location was brilliant for M6 definitely return for another visit

No toiletries for the freestanding bath which was in the bedroom as toiletries were fixed to the wall in shower room . Bar was very very expensive.

Bit small for a executive king room

Good location for Blackpool and area. Very helpful and welcoming reception. Room was clean and comfortable with good tea and coffee options. Bathroom had clean, fluffy towels and a good shower. The fresh milk and ice station in the corridor was a great touch especially as we were there in the heat-wave. Liked that parking had barriers down in evening and we had to be buzzed back in. We didn't get to try any of the facilities on this occasion but reception etc was and looked welcoming.

The room decor was from the 80s with heavy drapes and dark furniture. It was very stuffy and the fan didn't make a dent. I'll book again but choose a room with aircon next time.

My room was in the Hotel annexe and had a slight musty smell. My son's room was originally allocated in the same block, down stairs but had to be moved due to smell from drains.

De bedden waren prima, ontbijt was ook goed. Personeel van de receptie en bij het ontbijt waren vriendelijk.

Het hotel zou ook geschikt zijn voor kinderen dit was het niet. Kinderen mogen vanaf 15.00 uur zwemmen tot 19.00 uur maar mogen niet spelen in het zwembad dit is niet van te voren vermeld ook was er niet echt gelegenheid om savonds te eten met kinderen. Personeel wat het zwembad op afstand in de gaten hield was ook niet vriendelijk. De douche in de kamer hadden geen druk waardoor er weinig water uitkwam.

I had upgraded to a patio room. It was in the shade the majority of time so felt like it wasn't worth the upgrade as we sat in thr garden area instead

Recently renovated rooms were a welcome change to the historic properties we had been staying in. Bathroom was decorated beautifully and templespa complimentary shampoo / body wash was great. Strong shower.

The lights are weird. Of the 6 light switches on either side of the bed, only two worked. These were for the overheads. The chandelier light didn’t work, the bed reading lights didn’t work and the switches that we couldn’t figure out also didn’t switch anything on! Dinner in the restaurant was good although the dead and living flies on the window sill and around the tables was off putting. Breakfast - fried eggs were still significantly snotty. Overall - we were staying over on our way back from the lakes, we both slept well and the air conditioning was welcomed. Not overly fussed about anything else the hotel offers.

Great surprise. Was better than we expected for a stop off on a long journey. Hotel looks as if has been recently redecorated as carpets and rooms were spotless. Nice touch upgrading us. The reception is friendly and welcoming. The spa was lovely with the swimming pool very clean. Nice touch regarding the free parking and the reception were really welcoming.

There was no cups in my room and there was half a bottle of water still there left from the previous tenant. There was hardly any tissues and there needed to be more toilet rolls.

Everything. Smelly carpets from decades ago. They’ve clearly poorly tarted up an old hotel that needs a whole refit. Inexperienced and incompetent bar staff. No ice. No water glasses. Old lemons, no other fresh fruit for cocktails or mixers. Long wait at the bar. Dirty milk fridges. Highly perfumed foyer, rooms and spa. Triggered asthma and allergies. Charged hidden and additional fees for everything - not a real spa hotel. Raise a complaint and was told numerous times why I was wrong. You’re charged for a robe and to use the pool even when you boom an overnight stay and even when booking a spa treatment. These fees are hidden and not well publicised and they will just argue this point with you by showing you small print. You get an email the day before you check in with all the extra hidden fees, well after signing the original contract or the incentive to book with all the spa and facilities pictures and spiel - JOKE. Not only is this immoral it’s not contractually or legally sound. Told I could only use the restaurant if I booked but it was empty - disingenuous sales pitch. A hot box of a room overlooking a council estate with no AC or fan. Yellow stains on the bedding. Red stains on the towel.

Staff were lovely, the room was very comfortable and spotless, and the AC was easy to use.

I arrived late so didn't want an evening meal, beyond a full meal there were no real options. No snacks, no treats, nothing in the mini bar, with no shops anywhere close by. The best they could offer was a packet of crisps. Disappointing.

The spa facilities were incredible, fantastic breakfast and great location just off the motorway. The spa facilities also offer beauty and wellbeing treatments. The massage was amazing 🤩 highly recommend, best I've ever had. Felt very comfortable and made my husband and I very welcome 🤗 (arrive 10 minutes early to complete paperwork before treatment) Pauline and Jess were brilliant ❤️

The TV screens are situated in a long corridor with huge windows that reflect on the TV making them impossible to view! Change the drapes to accommodate blocking the daylight.. this would be great 😃

Our original room had no air conditioning, for a 4 star rating i would expect all rooms to have it. after paying extra to get another room the door lock was temperamental and the coffee machine did not work.

Loved the ice machines situated on certain floors. Comfortable bed and nice shower..Would stay here again..

Having chosen this hotel specifically because it had a swimming pool to then learn that it costs an extra £10 per person to use was a little annoying. The reason given was that the hotel now had do many rooms that if everyone went it would be full?

We did ask to change the room we were allocated, as there was a noisy generator immediately outside the bedroom window (and on a hot night, you wouldn't want to try to sleep with the window closed or open). This was handled pleasantly and efficiently. We were at a function so did not have dinner, but we very much enjoyed the buffet-style breakfast: very good in all respects. We did not have the opportunity to use the spa. We did like the offer of locations from which a guest could obtain crushed ice and/or a small carton of semi-skimmed milk. This was much appreciated.

Although the room to which we were re-allocated was very good indeed, and very comfortable, there did seem to be external noise in various locations around the premises from aircon and other generators and we wondered how many rooms might have similar problems to the first-floor room we were originally offered. We know the hotel from years past and it has been extended and improved significantly, though the Walled Garden Restaurant and other areas look to be due for a little refreshing.

Kindly let us store our bikes in our room so they were safe

For some reason the hotel staff were unhappy about allowing me to charge my ebike. This is the first hotel that has adopted this decision. There has never been a fire involving the Bosch battery system yet the hotel, I believe were basing their decision on cheap Chinese variants.

Disha and Natasha were lovely at the reception and quite helpful. The restaurant staff were very attentive, the restaurant's layout was very thoughtful and comfortable, we enjoyed our meals. The cleaning staff were also amazing and we even had a supervisor doublecheck we had received room service, so that was very kind. Our room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and the AC was working brilliantly. The swimming pool was quiet and amazing.

Upon arrival we were received by Tanzi and had the worst checkin experience. She was not informative as we had to ask her questions to find out, when was Breakfast, where the restaurants and our rooms are located. She asked us if we'll be using the swimming pool, when we said yes, she proceeded to add a charge on our bill without telling us we had to pay to use the swimming pool. This prompted us to ask whether we had to pay extra for swimming pool and how much it was, and for how many days etc but this information should have been given to us, instead of us asking all the time. Overall, it felt like we were asking questions and had more follow up questions which made us feel like we were bothering her or were out of place. Breakfast didnt have as much variety as you'd find in similar 4stars hotel. We stayed over two days, The first day, Breakfast was not nice, sausage, bacon and hashbrown looked undercooked. Beans also tasted a bit watered down with not so much flavour. But on the second day, we had a much better Breakfast experience.

I booked a deluxe king but it wasn’t as expected and would say it was a double at best. Rear gardens need attention.

Beds were so comfortable, the extra touches of bottled water daily, fresh milk fridge and ice machines were appreciated. The spa staff were amazing 👏

Lack of staff, having to wait a long time to get served as staff had to leave the restaurant to serve the bar. The inconsistent house keeping was dissapointing.
