Very dirty, bugs in room, smelled, only one wall outlet worked. Would not stay here again.

This is a very rundown hotel. The elevator lobby in the basement, from parking lot was filthy as were elevators. Our room was not very nice, the bathroom door didnt close and the tub was not clean. Peeling paint on the walls carpet was dirty..

It was in rough shape, the place was run down, they say they are renovating, but by the looks of it about 5 years too late

Nothing, as the hotel took away the joy of experiencing the area. This was the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. The carpet in the room was filthy, no covers on the bathroom fan as well as some outlets in the room, possible blood on the bathroom door,furniture that looked like it came from a thrift store and the list goes on. Hopefully the sheets were clean but given the state of the room, who knows. The clincher for us leaving a day earlier and spoiling our time there was on the second night in we arrived late to the hotel after our evening out and there was absolutely no parking available. The night auditor told us to park in a tow away zone next to the hotel. No thank you, not taking that chance. There were two other patrons with the same struggle. Was just beyond disgraceful for the amount of money that was paid. We ended up parking kilometers away from the hotel. We decided to leave a day earlier than planned because of the disgusting state the hotel was in and thankfully they did refund our third night. Never will we stay there again. So beyond disappointed.

Everything, never been in a worse hotel and my spouse travels for work and stays in hotels weekly.

The location is great and it's nice to have underground parking. The breakfast was well stocked and the staff were friendly.

The parking lot was filthy. The third floor main area had no baseboards and peeling wallpaper. Other guests I ran into said the place felt like a "catfish" because the photos online did not match our experience. The AC unit in the room was barely attached using a piece of metal edging.

Breakfast was really good. Price with Breakfast included exceeded our stay in the hotel.

The shower curtain was not clean Phone in the room was not working at all. My husband had to keep going down in person to the front desk for everything. The duvet was stained n bad, was really dirty. Asked for a new one n got it. Not enough towels. No bath floor towel.mat which was very slippery to get out of the high bathtub.

The room was too warm...AC didn't work...windows were taped shut. Found a little debris on the bathroom floor. Carpet was quite dirty. Had to call to get a hair dryer. Don't feel the cost should have stayed the same for how poor the facilities are.. Were told breakfast was included but wasn't told anything. I may not stay here again.

The hotel room was grungy and we felt like we needed to shower after sitting on the couch. Our socks were filthy after taking our shoes off for 5 minutes. The room looked very different from the picture and it seemed clear that it hadn't been cleaned properly.

The staff was kind and welcoming.

It's pretty dirty and unpleasant, especially the beds making noise when you move.

I know that it was under renovation, however our PowerPoints didn’t work properly and when you have a partner that requires a CPAP machine then this is a problem. There were apologises for the renovations and I believe due to no air conditioning in the room die to this and no restaurant is he price was a bit steep.

The property is in shambles and looks like they’re trying to up grade things but they should start with a complete new build.

The property is under construction and it is not labelled anywhere until you enter the building and see what the floors and the rooms are maintained like. The front desk stuff was not cooperative in the ad. It shows there is a pool when you arrive. They tell you they are charging a five dollar package for the pool. That is an outdoor water pool that everybody in the public can use so they’re making money off of tile service And fake advertisement. Upon arrival, the manager was watching everything from the outside and came inside and continue to watch us like as if we were doing something wrong. They took a $200 deposit for me and it still hasn’t been returned. The number posted to contact the site is not a legitimate number. And the breakfast is cold and disgusting. Not worth your stay beautiful Building but the management that has taken over, has ran it to its ground. This building was one stayed in by me many years ago, as is why I returned back to it. I will not be going back unless I see change.

The place was in complete disarray with wet paint and construction everywhere. Microwave did not work, only 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth for 2 adults, hem coming off my sheet uncomfortable beds. No clock, no hair dryer. Only decaf coffee provided. One elevator out of service.

We had 4 rooms and all rooms had problems ranging from lack of cleanliness, no AC, missing all towels in a room, mold under sinks, broken shower stalls, garbage in hallways, empty bottles under a sink, spiders and smells. We could not move hotels due to transportation and we literally could not sleep during that night there. We failed to read the other reviews but relied on the photos and these are blatant false advertising. It’s listed as a 4 star hotel and I am not sure when or how that could be.

I liked the continental breakfast in the morning.

Our room had no AC but they had fans but it was not the same and the door that was conjoining to the next room was missing the door handle and if our neighbor open their door could see me sleeping so I blocked it with paper I had (it was still locked tho)

My room was somewhat ok

The hair dryer was broken, the dirty stains on the chair and carpet. The fridge was gross. The hallways on the other floors look disgusting I felt like I was in a skid row hotel

nice and quiet,lots of places to go and eat. the hotel is being renovated right now, kinda feels like walking into an episode of the Fear factor. You can begin to relax as soon as you close the door to your room!

There is a variety of places to go eat and relax. Walking around the beach and viewing the spectacular scenery.Jet ski rental is available for the adventurous type.

The place had bed bugs, swarms of small flies flew out of the drain in the lobby bathroom when water went in drain. not to mention the condition of the flooring in the hallways. We couldn't put up with these things and went to another hotel. We have contacted you to try to get the cancellation policy of having to pay a fee for cancellation waived.

Second stay in dix years and although it has changed it in a good position in town. Also they provide free entry to the public pool , breakfast included and free parking. The rooms have clean sheets and towels. But...

The reviews tell the whole story and to be truthful i believe a vacuum cleaner is very rarely used. Once you book in for a few days they don't want to know you until you check out. It is also a dog friendly hotel and our room plus a friends room showed many signs of dogs toilet habits, plus the hall way

Our stay was very disappointing and unfortunately nothing like what we expected. The bathroom was extremely dirty, and the toilet was not flushing properly, which made it very uncomfortable and difficult to use. The room itself was also very dirty. The furniture was extremely old and poorly maintained, and the refrigerator was so old and malfunctioning that it was practically unusable, even for storage. The floors and furniture were dirty, and the bedside drawers were also very unclean. We could not even comfortably put our personal belongings inside them. The pillows were extremely small and not even a normal size. The lighting in the room was also very poor. Overall, the condition of the room and furniture was far below what we expected. This was a very unpleasant stay, and unfortunately, we would never stay at this hotel again.

Carpet is so dirty. When we use microwave electricity trip and we have to wait to back the electricity.

Aircon too small portable aircon in the room. Window is even open they dont put anything to cover when they set up the portable aircon. Curtain is not enough to cover the window too.

Staff were friendly. The starlings flying around the waterside terrace was pretty. Thankfully the bedding & towels were clean. The sound-proofing between rooms was good. They allow pets for a fee. The rooms didn’t smell funky, or like animals or smoke. We chose this hotel because it was close to the beach.

It was very run down. The fridge didn’t work in our room, the wallpaper was peeling, carpets were really stained. Thankfully there was an a/c unit in the room but not attached very well to the window. Hopefully the hotel is in the midst of renovating but probably not going to stay there again until conditions get better.

The hotel staff were nice and helpful, the bed was comfortable.

Under renovation, so the lobby area was quite unappealing and dusty. Parkade had garbage everywhere scattered on the ground, along with a pile of old furniture. Carpets dirty In the hallways, covered in hair and stains. AC worked on and off but not consistently. Lamp shade beside the bed did not work. Sink faucet had pressure issues.

The wifi was very good quality. When I asked for towels, they came to my room pretty quick.

The room was EXTREMELY EXTREMELY hot. There was a portable AC unit. I had to ask for an extra fan. Which made it very noisy in the room The hallway carpets were stained and did not look good. There were ants in the bathroom. The tub was cracked. The toilet made a loud whilstling noise after every flush. The reception desk people weren't very welcoming. The beds were very hard and not comfy.

This hotel is severely dilapidated. The pictures do not match. There is severe water damage in the hallways mould in the bathrooms, countertops falling off you get what you pay for it is disgusting.

Мебель вся очень старая, некоторые окна были настолько грязные, что даже не просматривались. В двух окнах отсутствует стекло и они были закрыты просто куском картона. По нашей просьбе, сотрудник отеля, нам поменял его на другой, немного дешевле. Этот номер был не намного лучше. Но мы решили уже остаться там. Сами вытерли везде пыль, и застелили диван своим покрывалом, чтоб на нем можно было сидеть. Это самый худший отель в котором мы были. 😭

It was a nice 2 minute walk to the lake and small little market with lots of options to dine in or take out

Days prior to my arrival I’ve confirmed with the location if the room will have a stove or kitchen to cook meals. Which a lady had confirmed this so when we got to the room there was nothing but a coffee maker & microwave and I had a cooler full of food which I had to throw away due to being past 2 days now.

Poor cleanliness, waited over 5 hours for a sheet set on a bed missing all bedding. Room was falling apart. Front desk was not organized at all. Requested things many times for them to never happen. Didn't get the room I booked and confirmed 4 times to make sure it was right and it wasn't. Front desk didn't doo anything and said well we are full and that's all. Not polite at all. Would never stay here again. It's filthy and horrible service

This hotel is deeply concerning and should not be allowed to operate given the alarming sanitary and health conditions. During our stay, the bathroom was in a terrible state: the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the shower tiles were really dirty, and the shower sill was completely covered in mold. We also found spiders on the windows, which showed a clear lack of basic cleanliness. Beyond the rooms, the building itself felt unsafe—the elevator cable made a loud, unsettling noise every time it started to move, and the garage was completely overflowing with garbage. Management needs to address these serious maintenance and hygiene issues immediately. I strongly advise looking elsewhere until proper health and safety standards are met.

Don't let the photos on the websites fool you. This hotel is more like a hostel. Upon entering the hotel you can start to tell it's a little run down but maybe the rooms would be fine. Wrong. Hallways, lighting and rooms were horrible. We checked in 2 hours after our check in time and there were no towels in any of the 4 rooms we booked. When we called and asked for more towels, they brought 1 per room whenever we ask for 4 per room since there were 4 ppl staying in each room. Old lollipop stuck on the bed. Old sock in the corner. Stains on the blankets. Tub was gross and water didn't drain. Toothpaste on the faucet and dust and cobwebs everywhere. There isn't enough plugs for the TV, TV box, fridge and microwave. Microwaves only work half the time. Breakfast is a joke for $15. You get toast, boiled eggs and a muffin or yogurt. No coffee or tea. No, spa, pool or any amenities at all. This please should be shutdown. Only thing good. Is the location. Close to the beach. They said it was under renovations but its doesn't seem like there's anything going on. Just a really old, unsanitary run down hotel.

Requested earlier check in, did not get checked in until half an hour later than official check in. Was then sent to a room that was not made up. No apology, no small offer to make amends. Didn’t end up checking in until close to 5pm. Rolled up carpets and debris laying around. Signage to rooms inadequate.

The breakfast was good. It was simple. The should be ready by serving time but not everything was ready

Cleanliness and better info on the pool

The bed linen was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Where to start? The hotel hallways have a stale, foul odor. The floors are filthy, I saw numerous stains on the hallway carpets and a couple were 'yellow and fresh'. Big stain on the carpet in my room. I kept my sandals on at all times. Bird poop on MANY of the room windows. This hotel has a huge problem with swallows. The shower/bath handle was falling off; I actually had to put it back together as best I could to turn the shower on. There was a gapping hole in the ceiling where the fan is, no cover, just a hole. The blow dryer didnt work. The entrance area into the hotel, from the underground parking, was absolutely filthy and there was an overflowing garbage can right at the entry hall where guests must go to take the elevator. I have photos of most of what I've described. In my opinion, this hotel needs a thorough health and safety check. I will NOT be staying there ever again!!

Completely awful. Horrible, unprofessional and slow service. The hallways smell, wallpaper peeling off the walls, dirty rooms. Stained blankets, hair and dirt in shower, clogged bathtub. Items left from previous guests. Found a lollipop stick on our bed, leftovers in the fridge. You have to beg for extra towels. Check in is at 4, we arrived at 530pm and they were still scrambling to get our rooms ready. Breakfast was a joke. Everything is under construction. The only redeeming quality is the location to the beach/park. Stay anywhere else for your comfort and sanity. Pictures on website are deceiving, the rooms do not look like the website.

Wow....I have never been a hotel so mangy before....wallpaper literally peeling off the walls on the third and second floors. Dirty floors and barely any amenities. They gave us one towel in the bathroom (thanks!). Very sad if you actually booked this for your holiday with your kids (we were just here for one night). Pros-our air conditioning worked, and the sheets seemed clean. Got a pass to the public mineral pool which was very nice. Free parking underground, though there were A LOT of birds making nests there and flying around constantly. I did sleep ok at night, it was pretty quiet. Cons- Breakfast- not great if you're expecting more than a piece of toast and cereal or 1 tablespoon of fruit. Hotel is just rundown and dirty. What a shameful hotel. How can they operate like this. So gross.

L'endroit est proche de tout, mais l'hôtel a besoin d'un minimum de rénovation. Nous avions réservé une chambre avec 2 lits Kings et c'étaient des lits simples. La chambre est bien équipée mais petite et pas de balcon. Le bain est craqué et la tapisserie des murs tombent.

I did not like anything about my stay. The room was terrible. Towel racks falling off the wall, bathtub still dirty and base peeling. Toilet was not clean. Mold on the bathroom walls. The smoke alarm was falling from the ceiling. The window wasnt secured. Ceiling tiles were falling out. There was a dirty napkin in the ice bucket. The breakfast wasnt great at all. I didnt definitely didn't get what I paid for

There were stray hairs and visible stains on the bedsheet, dirty carpets, and noticeable mold inside the room. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit was completely out of order. ​When I went down to the front desk to report the broken AC, I was met by a staff member named Akeel. Instead of acting professionally, apologizing, or offering an immediate solution, he literally laughed in our faces. Someone was eventually sent up to inspect the unit, which took another 20 minutes, forcing me to go back down to the desk to follow up. In total, over an hour of our stay was completely wasted trying to get a basic amenity working. ​When I directly asked Akeel if they could transfer us to a functional room or if we should just check out, his behavior escalated. He became openly hostile, abusive, and verbally harassed us, using extremely disrespectful and abusive language. ​Even after 90 minutes from check-in, management never offered us a room change. Instead, they dismissively told us that if we didn't like it, we could just leave. Given the filth, the complete lack of hospitality, and the blatant verbal abuse, we had no choice but to leave the property. ​The hygienic conditions are unacceptable, and the behavior of the front desk staff was disgraceful. Management urgently needs to address their hiring standards, enforce basic hygiene protocols, and conduct serious training in professional conduct and conflict resolution. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere.
