sign at front desk said it costs an extra $15 to park on site? — if they charged me for that on top of the nightly rate it would feel a bit sneaky, parking is always (in my experience) included in a small town motel.

I love the location right on the lake and it was very close to the spa, restaurants and other amenities, very cozy and loved being so close to.the water. We loved.that we could bring.our dogs with us to.the hotel, and that the town is dog friendly and could take our pets with us to the restaurants. We have 2 small dogs, so it was much appreciated.

The lack of reserved parking for guests. We had to move the vehicle around. It was easier because it is off season. I'm sure during peak season it.would be frustrating. And the inside door handle kept coming off when we went to open the door.

The staff were attentive and friendly. The location is convenient, the view from outside the room really nice. Courtyard parking availability is great, but for $17.00 a bit steep in price. The beds are comfortable, the towels clean.

Old buildings, patched up door that had been broken open at some point, cracked tiles and soft floor in the bathroom, run-down furniture, old, bulging carpets, peeling paint on window. Sound travels, snoring of other guests included. Considering this, $211.00 for the night plus parking seemed a bit much. The word "Spa" is suggesting something the place can no longer offer due to its age.

Das Motel kann nur als schäbig beschrieben werden. Das Zimmer roch schimmlig und feucht. Es fühlte sich so an als würde man bei Benutzung der Dusche mitsamt Wanne direkt in den Burgerladen darunter durchbrechen. ( Fenster öffnen war aufgrund des fettgeruchs keine Option) Die Tür zum Zimmer war offensichtlich schon mehrmals aufgebrochen worden und nur notdürftig repariert. Vorhänge fehlten komplett. Das Bettzeug war aber sauber.

Lights kept dimming and flickering, not just our room, but others as well. Quite disconcerting. The air-conditioning was very temperamental, once we got it working and very noisy. No bathmat for the tub. Felt nervous as it was quite slippery. Never did get on the internet, despite repeated tries. The check in and check out times were very different than what was in the confirmation email. Blinds only for the window, no additional curtains for privacy and to keep the room dark.

Not jut dated. The whole property is very old with dry rot and poor overall maintenance. Bathroom floors were squishy with poorly done ‘repairs’.

Given that it's obviously a budget motel and expecting nothig luxorious we were really happy with this place! Free parking right infront of the room, location next to the beach, super friendly staff, fridge, A/C (a bit noisy though), clean sheets and a shower - what more do you need? Also a little discount (10%) of breakfast in the cafe right next to the motel.

The view was worth the money. The room was clean. The one fella was very nice.

We first got there as a customer was complaining about a room ( surprise it was our room after they left) I didn't sleep well the 1st nite as the door wasn't good & one good push from outside & it was open locked & all. When we asked to see room 1st the lady gave us attitude telling us " she just works there" . Very over priced @ $305.00 a night for what you actually get. LOVED Harrison & will be back but to different hotel.

The kitchenette was tiny which made it very hard to actually be functional. The bathroom was outdated and worn but as clean as it could be.

The location of this motel is beautiful and convenient. Cross the street and you are at the beach; go downstairs and you’re at the Base Camp patio restaurant.

Location is right across from the beach. Room is ok but access to it is problematic. I was on the lower level where there are 2 long concrete steps and no railing. Suggest putting one at either end for support. Advise customers in advance about parking. Burger place in front puts their advertizing signs out and blocks part of the front driveway entrance. Better to advise customers to enter at the rear. I ate at the burger place - dinner and breakfast. It was good, convenient and nice staff . I would have rated it higher if there had been no access issue, this is not a problem with people who don't have walking problems

Clean room and bathroom. AC worked well. Small microwave and fridge included. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Furniture is dated but in good repair. Great location. We stayed one night in a lakeview room and the view is wonderful. Downside is the light coming from the windows at night. Even with blinds, the room was flooded with light. Absolutely needs blackout curtains. Other downside is the noise coming from the next room. They partied until 2 am and we could hear through the wall. In the morning I was in the bathroom and they dropped something in the sink and it was so loud it startled me. Price was good, except they don't tell you it is 15 dollars extra to park. That isn't a lot,but it should have been on their website. Insulating walls would be costly, but blackout curtains are not and should be installed. Then it would have been 4 stars.

Bedside lamp but no way to plug it in $15 parking charge for a motel. Room was small, but fine for a 1 night stay. No place to hang clothes which wasn't an issue as we only stayed 1 night, but be aware if you plan on staying longer and want to hang stuff up. Not as clean as I would like. Our room could have used some maintenance. But it is what I consider a budget motel. So good idea to not have high expectations. Check in staff were not very friendly.

The location is great and the hotel itself is well priced for the area. My room was clean and well organized, if not a little dated. The amazing part of this hotel was the check-in staff, specifically RHL. He was great at the check in process and when checking out. He sure seemed to be working hard all day at the hotel but always managed to be friendly and welcoming to everyone on the property. Everyone there seemed friendly and kind. I had to change my plans last minute and wasn't able to stay as long as I wanted. RHL accommodated my early departure without being asked. I mean, when do you get that kind of service nowadays. Anyway, the stay was great and I saved a lot of money in the process. Did I mention that the parking was free? It was. Thanks RHL and the rest of the staff at the hotel.

Great location right across from the beach. This is a budget motel. I was shocked to learn they charge $15 for parking. The room was very basic. Could do with some regular maintenance. Table lamps on each side if bed, but no where to plug the one lamp in. Bed was comfortable.

The Harrison Spa Motel is a budget motel in a premium location. The facilities are not fancy but clean and adequate and a good deal for the price.

We loved our stay. Staff was very friendly and available, location is perfect, lots of partnership options for discounts and good meals in restaurants close by. I would definitely come back.

They were closed when I arrived. I was able to book at Vedder River Inn (in person) in Chilliwack which was sooooo much nicer and a great price too!

My husband and I stopped here for the night on our way to Vancouver Island. It was a surprisingly romantic. I could have spent a whole weekend exploring the town and surrounding trails. Will definitely be back. The room was a very reasonable cost. Partner restaurants provided delicious meals at decent prices. Colour us impressed.

We were on our way to Vancouver Island and decided to stay the night somewhere pretty along the way. It was perfect. Walked along the lagoon at sunset. Absolutely romantic. Nice little motel, owners and staff are welcoming and so friendly. I stayed in room with kitchenette and 2 queen beds, it was roomy and clean. I had my 2 dogs with me it was a very dog friendly motel, being right across from lake was a bonus for walking them. For the price I was very happy.

No closet in room, tiny bathroom, basic accommodation. Basecamp restaurant tried to get away by not applying 15% discount. Good thing we questioned the bill before paying. They reluctantly applied the discount. I'm sure they hoped we missed that.

It is extremely noisy. The rooms besides you, the parking area in front, you hear everything. The air conditions in a night mare but you can't survive without it. The blinds don't darkening the room. It is far too expensive for what you get.

Great spot in the strip. Maybe remove the name “SPA”. No spa onsite. Rooms are clean. Could use an upgrade for the price you pay per night you could provide two ply toilet paper and better soap and shampoo

The location is amazing. Park your car & walk everywhere. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming & the staff are outstanding and friendly. The rooms are clean & comfortable. The value is affordable. During the day it can be quite noisy but it is a popular spot but at 9 pm it is very quiet and peaceful. The service is fantastic above & beyond what I could ask for. Amenities are great being so close to the lake. If you need anything reception will happily assist you. I visit often and am treated like family. The location was perfect.

The room was disgusting. The bed sheet was dusty and caused me to itch all night long. The room smelled like vomit and it was a horrible experience. The AC noticeably dirty and loud causing me to cough and sneeze. The rooms are really run down with broken tiles and sink. These people are to cheap to do basic repairs. It is better to spend an extra $100 to stay in a clean place. Will definitely not be back and try to avoid staying here b/c of the attractive price.

The rooms and hotel are a bit dated and old and they didn’t have coffee makers in the room. Just instant coffee. They did have a great discount on coffee at the restaurant though.

Congested, last time we were in herrision grad it was nice and comfortable. No water bottle provided, changed for parking. The kitchenette room is very congested.outdoor gallery carpet is so dirty.

Room was very tiny with nowhere to hang up coats or clothes. Although there are blinds on the windows, there are no curtains, so morning light shines in. Very meagre amenities - e.g. 1-ply toilet paper. No hair dryer. Breakfast at the BaseCamp cafe was very good and the discount was welcome.

​Hello, ​I am writing to formally report a dangerous and traumatizing incident involving my family at the Harrison Spa Motel (Reservation 6195019433). This was not merely a poor customer service experience; it was a life-threatening situation that forced us to flee for our safety. ​My family and I arrived at the property around 12:00 AM. I was traveling with my wife and our three children, including my 2.5-year-old daughter. After our calls, texts, and doorbells went ignored, the owner finally emerged from Room 00 at 12:40 AM. He was severely intoxicated and immediately became hostile. ​The situation escalated into a life-and-death scenario for me. He used abusive language, told us to leave, and then physically charged at us in an attempt to hit me and my family. As a heart patient who has undergone triple bypass surgery, the extreme stress and physical threat of this confrontation put my life at serious risk. ​I called the police at 12:44 AM. When officers arrived, they advised that the safest course of action was to leave the property immediately. Because it was the middle of the night and no other safe accommodations were available, we were forced to drive all the way back to Surrey in a state of shock, with my children terrified and my youngest daughter crying the entire way. ​It is reckless and negligent to have a property listed where the owner is a physical threat to guests. I am holding you responsible for the following: ​Immediate Full Refund: I expect a total reversal of all charges for this failed and dangerous reservation. ​Safety Investigation: This owner's violent behavior must be addressed to prevent another family from being put in danger. ​Account Credit/Compensation: For the gas, the grueling drive back to Surrey, and the severe emotional and physical distress caused to my family and my own fragile health. ​I have a police report on file and expect an immediate response regarding how you intend to rectify this

Location is excellent. Room had the bare minimum accessories (one electric heater only, no coffee machine). Cleanliness was just fine.

While booking through Booking.com, I requested for a lake view room. I was responded that, it will be only possible once I arrive, depending on availability. When I arrived at the Motel, I made the same request and learned the room is already booked. I felt like receiving differential behavior towards different customers.
