The Connacht Hotel

Relaxing

Great breakfast especially for children

All excellent but room service way over priced

Le confort le petit déjeuner la déco

The property is so convenient to everything

Nothing

Great location near eyre square. The staff were friendly and very helpful.Couldn't find fault. The breakfast was excellent, great choice.

Breakfast was good. Nice lobby general decor was very attractive. Helpfull staff. Very clean rooms. Pleased to have a nice gym and pool.

Dont have any negatives.

Nice reception and restaurant

Its in need of some attention, it got a bit shabby since I last stayed

The staff were very friends and the accommodation was very good

We loved the gym and the amenities. The full on gym was super nice.

The staff was not helpful and didn't seem to want to bother checking us in. Given we had two small kids, you would think they would want to help us out and we were being super friendly.

Always friendly staff and everything up to standard. Good location

The room was too small for 4 people. No where to store luggage. Or hang clothes. Bathroom was small and not well maintained . Breakfast was poor and were only allowed two cups of coffee.

Pool

The location was good easy access to transport very helpful staff felt very comfortable

Location perfect.Bacon seems to be a bit too done for me everything else perfect.

I couldn’t say what I didn’t like

The staff were lovely and our room was very clean

I was satisfied with everything

No toilet brush in bathroom

Stuff lovely went over board my birthday and brought out small cake and door stuff brilliant especially Andy

Noting

Nothing

Family Room very nice, food and bar great, our kids loved the pool also.

Good location. Friendly helpful staff. Our waiter was lovely

Room very dated dinner was Ok.

Pillow was not comfortable. No drinking water.

Staff were great. Good folk on reception, very friendly and helpful.

Grotty rooms. Bathroom hadn’t been renovated in I’d say twenty years +. An old bath with a shower in it. Room hadn’t been refurbed in the same amount of time. Old TV with limited channels. Ancient furniture. No USB ports. This hotel is not worth the price you pay. Wouldn’t stay again. The whole place needs a major renovation.

Lobby area was great, but rooms really need a renovation. Was deceiving

Nice room. Suited our needs.

Breakfast was poor. Terrible value to be honest.

Location Ambience Breakfast

Nothing

Lovely hotel, staff, facilities

Room was amazing. Gym and pool was amazing

I liked everything

Goed bereikbaar, relaxte sfeer.

De badkamers zijn wat gedateerd maar wel goed onderhouden en schoon.

Great location, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere at the restaurant and bar!

Rooms are a little dated.

Centrally located in Galway, a good launching point for for our family sightseeing.

Lack of environmental control made sleeping a bit more challenging.

The room was quiet. Food good. Helpful staff. The gym is well equipped.

Nothing

Great staff and a warm friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel. We also enjoyed the use of the leisure facilities.

We stayed in a triple room in the A wing - decor & furniture a little jaded and would love some softer pillows!

Staff and facilities were excellent.

Family room for 4, with 3 beds, was cramped with very little space

A very nice stuff, good clean room, good breakfast

A shower tap was tricky to use: or too cold or too hot water. I have heard people next door when they are were inside their room, doesn't feel like private atmosphere. The location is not bad but a bit more far from the city centre then mentioned.

Breakfast and Bar areas

Alte Zimmerausstattung, Geschirr beim Frühstück nicht immer sauber

The room was great

Food in the restaurant was slightly under expectations

Pool. Breakfast. Beds comfortable.

Maid trying to clean room at 8.45 whilst we were still in it! Ordered breakfast tea and had to chase twice.

Staff very helpful and polite. Everything possible is provided or to hand. Great location and spotlessly clean

My son and I are both coeliac and the staff were excellent in making us feel safe about our food.

I would have liked it made clear that the offered price did not include VAT.

Camera con materassi comodi ampi spazi non manca nessun servizio parcheggio ampio

La pulizia della camera vien fatta nel primo pomeriggio forse causa rapporto camere/personale

Staff were excellent, polite and efficient. Made us feel welcome.

Great stay

Stort och bekvämt, inte för dyrt

Lite opersonligt kanske och avståndet in till Galway lite långt. Poolen har man tillgång till men man får irra genom lite korridorer och trappor för att komma dit så det känns inte riktigt som en del av hotellet.

Everything in the hotel was fantastic. Staff so helpful, leisure centre pool was beautiful. Can't wait to come back!

The location and the staff at the restaurant, very helpful though there were many people

The pillows, too tough and the bed not very comfortable

Staff very friendly, hotel very comfortable , Bar very atmospheric and food delicious. Would definitely return. Excellent value for money.

Nothing to complain about
