well all i stayed with mu family for One week and the stay was excellent and the Break fas was too good 10/10

The property next to it is getting constructed and early morning there is sound and distrubing.

Room is clean and big. Big fridge and there's washing machine too. Water pressure for shower very good. Location is good. Near to big malls.

Tv in the room has almost no working channels. Tv in the room doesn't work at all. Breakfast, although the spread is ok, only 2 or 3 dishes that changed. We were there for 4 nights, the last day we skipped the breakfast altogether.

Nothing much. The pictures shown are that of the hotel side but Dorsett Residences is a total deviation from the pictures. Please be careful when booking.

It’s a service apartment and the occupants above kept dragging furnitures around till 1 am plus throughout our stay there. We informed the concierge almost every night to fix the legs on the chairs with some felt base stickers to reduce the sound but nothing was done!!!

فندق رائع بكل ما تحمل الكلمة من معني ، سرعه في إجراءات تسجيل الدخول والخروج وخدمه نقل الحقائب وبشاشه وابتسامه كل الموظفين في الفندق وبالاخص الشاب اللطيف المبتسم دائما( اميت ) في خدمات الغرف ، ومن المزايا قربه من شارع العرب والاسواق ويمتاز أيضا بالهدوء.. كانت موفق جدا في اختيار هذا الفندق وراضي تماما عن كل شي، اتمني ان يستمروا في المستوي من الجوده . سوف يكون اختياري القادم بكل تأكيد.

1. The decor is dated. I have been coming staying there since 2010.and it's time really to refresh the room decor. 2. Some of the breakfast food needs more tastes and do introduce new breakfast menu like ayam masak kicap, cekodok pisang. 3. There is a bad stinky kind of smell at the toilet area on the check-in lobby floor.

The overall experience was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. All the staff who attended to us were very helpful and approachable.

The restroom/toilet in the lobby is very inconvenient for the elderly, especially those with wheelchairs, as they have to take the stairs. The entrance lobby is not very convenient for the elderly since there's no handrail. The breakfast quality has dropped since my last visit in 2025. The food is hot at the counter, but when we put it at our table to eat, it turns cool. Especially those on the steam rack should always be covered; otherwise, they will turn hard. The steamed corn was tasteless, according to my father-in-law. Overall, I am a bit disappointed with the breakfast buffet.

So spacious, clean and comfortable. We had really good time here.

We infromed hotel that will shorten stay,in two days ago of checking out. We sent message to booking. com. and went to front desk for infroming as well. However, up to now, both booking.com and hotel, they just play ping pong game none would like to be the window. it will jeopardize both booking. com and hotel reputation.

The location in Bukit Bintang is great for shopping (walking distance to Pavilion and TRX), and the swimming pool was reasonably decent.

This property claims to be a 5-star hotel, but fails to deliver basic 3-star standards. We booked 2 rooms for 4 nights expecting comfort for my pregnant wife and elderly mother, but faced constant frustration: 1. ​Inhospitable Check-in: Arrived 3–4 hours early after an exhausting flight; reception refused any accommodation and demanded we pay for the entire previous night. Made my family wait in the lobby until 2 PM sharp with zero hospitality, refreshments, or access to facilities. 2. ​Refusal of Luggage Storage: After a 4-night stay, we requested storage for 3 bags for 3 days while taking a short side trip to Langkawi. The hotel flatly denied holding luggage for departing guests unless we made another paid booking. 3. ​Poor Housekeeping: Left the "Make Up Room" sign on all morning on day 3, returned in the evening to find the room untouched. Reception dismissed us saying housekeeping closes at 6 PM. Only after serious complaints were sheets/towels changed. Carpets were neglected and small trash was never properly vacuumed throughout our stay. 4. ​Substandard Room Quality: Loose, unsafe electrical wall sockets, keycards failed twice, outdated TVs, tiny bathrooms with no bathrobes, no liquid hand soap, and literally no towel racks/hooks. Wi-Fi disconnects and forces a manual portal login every time you leave and return. 5. ​Bizarre Billing: No standard room charging; upfront payment is demanded for meals. Breakfast is arbitrarily priced at MYR 35 if billed at the restaurant vs MYR 28 if paid at reception.

Voor het zwembad moet je je eigen handdoek van de kamer meenemen. Aangezien er maar 1 handdoek per persoon is, is dat niet handig. Bij een 5 sterren hotel mag je wel meer verwachten.

I’ve stayed here more than six times, and the staff have always been friendly and welcoming. This has become my usual place to stay in KL.

i like the place. However, during my recent stay, I requested for all my rooms to be arranged on the same floor, and the staff assured me that this would be arranged at no cost. Unfortunately, I later had to pay extra for an upgrade, yet I still had to wait until 7pm for the room to be ready around four hours later than expected even on separate floors. I appreciate the staff’s friendliness, but this experience was disappointing and feeling cheated, especially as a returning guest who has stayed here many times.

The deco and furniture….simple and no hassle

1. We found baby cockroaches in bathroom in the master bedroom. 2. There is no parking at the property, hence it is a minus point. We almost got scammed by the parking attendant at the private parking opposite the property….He insisted that we pay by cash, the next day, he claimed that we did not pay until I showed him the dash-cam recording.

Booked this hotel because of the triple single bed and staff kept saying they couldn't confirm right till 2-3 days before check in, and we didn't get it in the end either. Facilities were old and some not very clean... in particular our hairdryer was so dusty and unusable. Toilet had a drain smell on day 2.

My siblings had constant diarrhea and vomiting after eating the food at the hotel breakfast (a few minutes later). It really paused our plans to explore the city due to the stomach flu.

The room was spacious, and the ACs were working perfectly. There was a fridge, a washing machine with a dryer, a stove, and some kitchen utensils. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel’s location was amazing and close to everything, just a few minutes walk from the city center. The housekeeping guy was also very good and did a great job. The view from the window was amazing.

The apartment looked old and was in need of renovation. It also had a terrible smell that persisted throughout our stay, even after opening the windows and using air fresheners. The pictures on the website did not match the reality. Also the bed was small, bed and pillows were very uncomfortable.

I booked a 2 bed residence. It had a strong smell of sewage. Room was poorly cleaned. No TVs, no towels for hand, 2 blue bath towels which was the strangest thing I ever saw in a supposedly 5 star hotel. My experience was very unpleasant.. I had kids with me, room had to be changed due to the foul smell.

Voor ons was dit 1 overnachting ivm doorreis maar we wilden vooral comfortabel slapen. Bed was heerlijk. Locatie midden in het centrum. Grote kamer.

Badkamer was erg smal. Douchegedeelte was naar mijn inziens niet 5 sterren waardig. Douchekop was kapot, zeeppompje was kapot. Ik vind het hotel obv deze kamer meer 4 sterren dan 5.

Emplacement très proche à pied du centre commercial. Bel appartement (residence)climatisé de 2chambres,2salles de bains,lave linge, La personne qui s'occupe du ménage est très serviable et efficace.

Ce n'est pas un 5 étoiles, plutôt 3 étoiles. Accueil à la réception pas très agréable. Bruit +++ continu de travaux (plusieurs immeubles en construction à proximité rapprochée),séjour non reposant.

Het is zeer zeker geen 5-sterren hotel. De foto’s zijn mooi gemaakt om mee te adverteren. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk maar het hotel en de kamers zijn nog geen 3-sterren waard. Hotel heeft een update nodig. Alles is oud. Er is wel een ontbijt buffet wat meer een avond buffet is. Positief is de locatie. Het is nog geen vijf minuten lopen naar de Pavillion mall. Spijtig dat een hotel pal tegenover de Ritz zo vervallen is.

The location was amazing!

The property was not clean. There were issues that were hidden such as a very leaky faucet, nonexistent/unsealed shower doors causing wet floors in both bathrooms, and mold. The owner denied the water problems until I brought up previous reviews from people complaining about the same issues. She ultimately provided a small refund upon my insistence.

I was in a two bedroom apartment in a high floor, the apartment was very clean and comfortable.. Also, it had everything you need for a family stay from the kitchen ware to the washing machine..

Mainly the gym wasn't to expectations at all.. The TV channels most if them were off due to subscription expiry..

The location is walkable to TRX and Pavilliom, Fahrenheit at Bujit Bintang. The security on the building is friendly and helpful. The accommodation is decent for the price. The Unit is quite large and spacious..

No carpet at hall. Suggest to place a carpet at tv area as the floor may get cold at night and early.morning or provide a in-house slippers.

The staff were so incredibly helpful, with no request being too hard or too much trouble. Location is brilliant and very easy for Grab, Coaches and cars to access whilst also being close to the MRT and monorail. Rooms exceptionally comfortable and ell equipped.

The room fridges are very small and have no freezer compartment, meaning that it is difficult to keep food.

The hotel is the best we stayed in Kuala Lumpur. For sure I strongly recommend it. The location is the best, the cleanless hotel, comfortable and close within walking distance to the main shopping center the Pavilion mall and the main busy street which bukit Bintang. The attraction places close if used grabs taxis. The recieption staff are all really very supportive, I really appreciated the managment team who works behind the seen for the guest comfort. Thank you very much.
