Breakfast was nice but not worth the money charged. I was aware I had to share a bathroom, but the booking is misleading because it seemed I would be sharing with only one other room, it appeared to be with the whole floor.

Lovely dog friendly property. Basic but comfortable and all the necessary amenities for a 2 night stay. Friendly staff & made our pup feel very welcome, the poop bags and dog biscuits were a great touch 🥰

We had a lovely 2 nights in Cromer, despite a thunderstorm! Very friendly welcome. The location is very good, on the cliff, 5 minutes walk from the pier, the old town, bars, restaurants etc. Our room (No.6) had a compact bathroom which was easily one of my favourite hotel bathrooms ever! Thank you. Highly recommended.

The location on the sea front was first rate. Breakfast was the best we have experienced for a long while, and we particularly liked ordering at the table and having an allocated table so that we sat at the same place each day.

Being on the top floor was okay, but it was a bit of a struggle managing more than 30 stairs with our luggage. This, however, is a relatively minor criticism

The bed was comfortable and the room itself was clean. Great location.

The shower water pressure was quite low and we found the shower a little difficult to operate. The bathroom doors are wooden shutter-style doors, so there’s very little sound privacy. You can unfortunately hear pretty much everything from the other side! I was also slightly concerned about security, as the same key used to open the main front door also opened our room door which made me wonder whether the room keys are the same across the property.

The family room was spotless and, while small, suited us nicely. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot, and everything was exactly as described. The location is superb - facing the cliffs and a very short walk from the train station, shops, town centre, the pier and the beach.

Everything was absolutely fine and very good value for the cost. If I had to be annoyingly picky, I'd say that the small window, which opens just a crack, did not help cool down the upstairs room very much when the weather was hot - though a fan was provided to help with this.

Friendly staff , wonderful room and was perfect for our dog too. We had a room on the ground floor by the door which was ideas for taking him out . Was a welcome treat dog for him on the bed and a little card showing where we could go on the beach and vets numbers etc . It’s hard travelling with pets but the little extras meant the world . Great location, it's a short walk along the main road into Cromer town centre. I was able to park on the street next to the B&B because the car park was full. The reception manager was friendly, the room was very clean with lovely cotton sheets on the bed. No issues, would stay here again.

10:30am is a bit earlier than usual for checkout.

The Hotel is near the beach.

The hotel should provides the fan, especially, we were in the second floor, the room is the hottest part of the building. We had to sleep with the window opened and the door ajared. Fortunately, it was booked for two nights or less we have to move out to another hotel'

Great room view and facilities, very comfortable! Towels, TV, kettle, hairdryer and water refills were included and wasn't expecting such a lovely window view. Was worried about the queues for shared bathroom but there are a couple of them on each floor and was allowed to use any.

Only things that would have improved our experience was if tissue boxes and toothpaste tubes were included in the room, and a shower hose slightly leaking which made the bathroom floor wet.

Location was great, with ease of parking being a bonus. Breakfast was delicious and served by very friendly and helpful staff.

Our room overlooked the sea and we could also see the pier. Breakfast was very good with a extensive menu, and was delicious. Location was good, being a short walk into the town, and, of course, the sea views. They displayed a 'Top Ten' of restaurants and eateries in Cromer which we used to our delight.

The limited parking on site was not ideal, although there was a car park about 100m away which was £2 per night.

Nice & clean, lovely breakfast & friendly, helpful staff. I would definitely staff there again.

The rooms were very clean, beds comfy and fluffy towels. Breakfast was 4 courses you get plenty of choice. Martin was a font of knowledge explaining what was on in Cromer and surrounding areas, nothing was too much trouble for Martin. Met the cleaner, lovely lady who made up our room, can well recommend a stay here

Great location, very clean, staff friendly and efficient. Had second floor room so lots of stairs up and down, slanted ceiling so a few head bumps too. Good breakfast. Breakfast room lacking warmth due to dark wall paint. Enjoyed my stay regardless.

If I had to describe in 3 words I would say our stay was clean, quiet and comfortable. The room was spotless, it was in a fantastic location just a short few minutes walk in the centre of everything and we could even bring our dog! We were able to check in a little early and parking was easy.

We didn’t realise but we had booked one of the 2 rooms on the first floor that had shared facilities. When arriving I was a little concerned about this but they were kept very clean and as there was only 2 rooms sharing, we never had an issue getting into the toilet / shower room. However I feel this could have been made more clear on the booking beforehand.

Its clean & tidy not to far from the centre 5 to 10 min walk. The price is fair.

Shame the rooms aren't en suit but the facilities aren't far away.

Staff: All very friendly, helpful and cheerful. Location: Path (not steps) down to the sea front. Breakfast: Good, hot, real porridge, made as I requested with oat milk. Plenty of natural plain yoghurt.

I found the Sandcliff on Booking.com, and booked through them. They offered only a room without a lavatory, presumably because I said I needed a single bedroom. I don't know whether an en suite room would have been available in a bigger room, but next time I will book directly with the hotel and hopefully find a room which is en suite. But in any case there will, I hope, be a next time. Cromer, and the Sandcliff, suit me.

We were pleased with our large room with good facilities including a large bay window which had a view of the ocean on one side. We would definitely use this guest house again.

It was such a lovely clean and tidy hotel in a wonderful position right on the sea front. The staff were friendly and for the price, it had all we needed for a three night stay

The hotel was in a very convenient location, almost opposite the entrance to the beach, which was perfect for us. Check-in was easy and the room was spacious. There was a kettle in the room, so we could make a cup of tea, which was useful. We did not have breakfast, so cannot comment on that. Parking was limited. We managed to get the last space, but there only seemed to be about five spaces altogether, so I would not rely on it. Even though it was a hot day and the hotel did not have air conditioning, the room stayed cool, which was greatly appreciated. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. We only stayed one night and would have happily stayed longer, but unfortunately they did not have availability

I put a sign outside my room one day, please make up my room and it did not happen. My breakfast table and surrounds were not cleaned properly from day to day.

This is a fairly basic hotel but it was clean and the staff were most welcoming and efficient. The location is perfect being only a short walk to the town centre. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks to all the staff for a most pleasant stay :-)

Lovely location. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We were very grateful that we could leave our bags there before and after check-in - it allowed us to make full use of our time. Just an 8-m8nute walk to the train station.

5 minutes away from the bus station

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was super clean and comfortable. The mattress was of excellent quality, we slept so well. The choice of breakfast was great, beautifully presented and great tasting. The best of all it's very affordable. It will be our place of choice each time we visit.

My only dislike was the room allocated was at the top of the building up two flights of stairs. That was my error, I should have asked for a ground or first floor room. There is no lift and so people like me who have mobility issues need to note this when booking. Excellent otherwise. It deserves its three stars.

Friendly helpful staff

We had a beautifully clean sea-view room with en suite facilities on the 3rd floor. Great views of the sea and promenade west of the pier. A short 10-15 minute walk into the centre of town, with the beach closer though a walk down the cliff steps or path. Fabulous varied breakfast worthy of a 5* hotel. We are already thinking of booking for a later date in the year.

No lift and limited accessibility for the less able, some rooms share bathrooms, but it is a guesthouse with proportionate rates dependant on room facilities. We booked a double sea-view room with en suite at a very reasonable price. it was excellent, clean, comfortable and quiet. No bar or restaurant facilities other than a beautiful breakfast room, however there is an hotel with those next door open to non-residents and restaurants and pubs are within a 10 to 15 minute walk. Limited hotel parking onsite but on road parking right outside or 24 hour public car park within 5 minutes.
