- wunderschöner Platz!!! - traumhafter Ausblick zu den Klippen - sehr nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal - tolle großzügige Anlage - viele sportliche Angebote und Wellness-Treatments - individueller Shuttle Service auf Anruf, zu allen Orten in der Anlage

- wir bekamen zwei Einzelbetten obwohl wir ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett gebucht haben. Es war kein Wechsel möglich, die zwei Betten wurden nur zueinander geschoben - von unserem „Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick“ war leider kaum das Meer zu sehen (weil die Pinien einfach zu hoch sind). Der Blick auf die Pinien ist auch sehr nett, aber wir hatten uns etwas anderes erwartet, hier kann man sich den Meeres-Aufpreis sparen ;-) - es sind fast ausschließlich Familien mit Kindern dort, daher ist es rund um alle Pools sehr laut und wer ein ruhiges Plätzchen sucht, wird hier schwer fündig (für Aufenthalt mit Kindern aber top) - die Preise im Resort sind ungerechtfertigt hoch!! (1 Aperol 18€, 1 Bier 8€, Hauptgerichte zwischen 30-50€) Vor allem das Restaurant Mare am Strand hat sehr hohe Preise für kleine Portionen Tipp: Gleich bei der Resort Einfahrt gibt es einige Lokale, hier kann man gut und zu fairen Preisen essen und trinken - Liegen am Strand sind sehr eng aufgestellt und immer voll - kriegt man nur, wenn man sehr früh morgens dran ist oder wieder ab ca 17 Uhr (als Alternative bekommt man aber einen Liegestuhl auf Wunsch)

Unser Zimmer, Maisonette Suite, war wirklich sehr schön gelegen und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal war überall sehr, sehr freundlich. Die Restaurants, egal ob Lunch oder Dinner, waren allesamt sehr gut. Reservierungen für Abends unkompliziert über den Concierge möglich. Die Pools waren sehr sauber. Der Zimmerservice war auch wirklich schnell und das Essen sehr gut und wenn ein Fehler passiert ist, wurde dieser sofort korrigiert. Parkplätze waren ausreichend vorhanden.

Ein wenig Schade war, dass trotz überall Schilder standen, dass „Liegenreservierer“ nicht geduldet werden, teilweise Liegen an den Pools über viele Stunden mit einem Buch oä reserviert wurden und dies geduldet wurde. Außerdem war der Weg vom Aufzug zum Strand noch sehr weit und man muss viele Stufen überwinden auf dem Weg dorthin. Gerade für Ältere und Menschen die nicht gut zu Fuß sind, kaum machbar.

The facilities and resort in general are very good if you want to be active.

The swimming pool areas were overcrowded with no one following rules and no one telling them about it. Noisy unruly children. The food quality of the various restaurants is poor for the price. It’s actually extremely overpriced in that area, much better to go out of the resort to eat. You eat better and cheaper. Pool service was not up to standard compared to other hotels in Vilamoura

It took us 2 hours to get a room. The first room presented to us only had 2 beds for 3 people so we had to upgrade and pay an additional €150 to get a room with a sofa bed. The whole process took 2 hours when all we wanted to do after travelling was to have showers and freshen up, then go for dinner..

Una estancia espectacular. El hotel nos encantó porque combina playa, golf, unas vistas increíbles y muchísimos restaurantes para elegir. El restaurante indio nos pareció de una calidad altísima, y en O Pescador el pescado estaba riquísimo. Zest es también una opción genial para comer algo informal, rápido y sano. El servicio del hotel fue buenísimo en general, pero el equipo de O Pescador merece una mención especial: un 10. Nos quedamos con ganas de seguir descubriendo más rincones del hotel. Una experiencia brutal para celebrar los 60 de nuestro padre. Repetiríamos sin duda.

Moc hezký rezort. Vždy příjemný a vstřícný personál. Snídaně. Okolní restaurace.

Velmi moc lidí, přeplněný rezort, nemáte klid, všude jsou hluční lidé. U bazénů hlava na hlavě. Problém najít volná lehátka. V tomto hotelu hosté brzy ráno dávají ručníky na lehátka a ta jsou pak celý den obsazená. Personál hotelu to nijak neřeší.

Lovely property we were there for a wedding food was amazing but staying as a guest very exrorttionate prices.

The staff were not very friendly very incompetent at the reception desk they tried to charge me extra €300 for some taxes took over an hour to check in and only be ause I questioned the amount she. Asked someone else over and hey presto the charge was taken off. Absolutely disgusting for a 5* to have staff like that who don’t know what they’re doing.

Der Kleiderschrank stank etwas modrig Wir kamen sehr früh an (9:00 Uhr) und dennoch war den ganzen Tag bis 15:30 Uhr (30 Minuten sogar nach offiziellen Checkin), kein zimmer frei, obwohl wir mehr nachfragten. Wir waren zwei befreundete Pärchen, und dennoch wurde nie ein Zimmer frei? Wir denken, dass sie sehr unflexibel waren, in der Verteilung der Zimmer, auch innerhalb der Kategorie. Beim Checkout mussten wir natürlich pünktlich raus und durften nicht mal 10 Minuten länger im Zimmer bleiben.. die Zimmerkarten gingen sogar schon 1 Stunde vor offiziellem Checkout-Zeit nicht mehr. Das fand wir sehr schade, gerade weil wir auch gefragt hatten, was man tun kann, da dieser längere Checkout schon nicht möglich wäre und wir trotzdem auch offiziell zu spät erst reingelassen worden... aber darauf wurde einfach nicht von der Rezeption reagiert, weshalb wir nun hier das Problem nochmal festhalten möchten :) Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig

Nicht gefallen hat: Am Hotel gab es nur ein Restaurant. Die weiteren Restaurants konnten nur mit einem Shuttlebus erreicht werden. Alle 3 Restaurants waren recht teure: mindestens 100€/Person. Die Qualität des Essens im Piri Piri war ungenügend.

Gefallen hat uns: sehr schön gelegenes, ungewöhnliches Hotel mit schön eingerichteten und großen und gepflegten Zimmern.

Excelente hotel. Tudo impecável. Nível de detalhes de decoração e ambiente que faz a diferença. Tudo muito bem cuidado. Pessoal muito prestativo e educado. Café da manhã maravilhoso.

O hotel é grande e portanto pode ficar muito cheio. Ok, é um resort e assim deve ser.

Complete mismatch voor een wat ouder stel dat rust zoekt. Het ontbijt was gewoon chaotisch, massa's jonge joelende kinderen, overstresst personeel en altijd wachten op een tafel. Tijdens ons verblijf waren er 3 trouwfeesten, avondrust bleek een illusie. Het italiaans restaurant serveert waardeloze pizza met minimale dressing en is dan nog duur ook (13 EUR/glas huiswijn). Tot slot we betaalden hier 400 EUR/dag !

La infraestructura y elegancia del hotel. La atención es exquisita

La playa no tiene infraestructura, las tumbonas son miserables y los “quitasoles” innombrables. Mucha inversión en patios andaluces y piletas pero para los que buscamos playa, me pareció de categoría 2 estrellas.

We have just returned home after a 2 week stay 12-24th May. Our party consisted of myself and my husband, another couple, our grown son & family and our grown daughter & family, who came to stay at various times with us. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The grounds are amazing. We were blessed with the jazz festival which was a lovely surprise. The men enjoyed many rounds of golf ⛳️ whilst the ladies enjoyed the pools and the children/grandchildren in a safe, welcoming and wonderful setting!

O quarto é fantástico , extremamente limpo e espaçoso . A zona da piscina muito tranquila e devido ao espaço envolvente de relva, existe muita privacidade, com muitas sombras. O bar do champanhe é magnífico, bem como os restaurantes, comida fantástica de extrema qualidade e o staff muito atencioso e prestável . O acesso á praia por elevador, elevou francamente as minhas expectativas, apesar do restaurante de praia se encontrar encerrado. Staff na praia muito prestável e atencioso . O Spa … aiii o spa , fiz uma massagem relaxante para terminar em beleza , e valeu muito a pena . Em suma, adorei a estadia, este é realmente um hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ com um nível muito elevado !! Parabéns !!

Adorei tudo; staff , espaços, limpeza, comida (todos restaurantes) acesso à praia !! Tudo maravilhoso ❤️

Atendimento dos colaboradores

A sacada alagou (mais de 4 centímetros de água) a segunda noite da nossa estadia. Molhei meus tênis ao sair do quarto de manhã cedo. Adicionalmente, reservamos um quarto com vista ao resort, a pesar do imenso e bonito que é o complexo, deram um quarto com vista para o parking, e além com sacada que alaga. Muito triste. Além o frigobar ficou sem nenhum produto o tempo todo da nossa estadia. Por final a gente encontrou formigas na cama. Uma vergonha. Em soma um cinco estrelas que não honrou as nossas, entendo que razoáveis, expectativas.

I liked how spaced out each area was, never felt on top of anyone else when sitting in the sun. Was lovely to be able to walk around such a vast area and lovely to see all the facilities, padel courts etc.

The only thing was a few cats being around but that cannot be helped, they were not strays and didn’t come up to anyone.

The hotel grounds are exceptional, with beautifully maintained gardens and excellent facilities throughout. The location is stunning and in one of the nicest areas of Portugal. The overall atmosphere of the resort is relaxing, luxurious and very well kept

The hotel appears to be understaffed, which is evident in several areas of the guest experience. Check-in waiting times were excessively long, rooms were not turned around quickly enough by housekeeping, and the shuttle service to the buffet restaurant often involved waits of 30 to 45 minutes. Whilst the resort itself is beautiful, the rooms feel outdated and would benefit from refurbishment. Considering the standard and pricing of the resort, the overall service and accommodation fell below the level we expected.

April 2026:This was supposed to be a 5-star stay, but it fell far short of even basic expectations. The room quality was nowhere near 5-star standard, and one of the two rooms we booked had a strong, unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke. I reported this immediately, but the staff showed little interest in resolving the issue. There was no follow-up, and I had to return myself just to ask for an update. Eventually, a staff member attempted to help by offering an upgrade, but even that process was poorly handled. When we were shown the alternative rooms, the key cards didn’t work, leaving the rooms unlocked at all times — completely unacceptable from a safety standpoint. On top of that, despite booking two rooms, the amenities were inconsistent, with one room noticeably lacking items that the other had. Breakfast each morning was chaotic and overcrowded, with no sense of organisation. After asking for tea and being completely ignored, we ended up going to the service station and getting it ourselves. After enduring two disappointing nights, we decided to leave and move to another 5-star hotel. The difference was immediate — calm, professional, and attentive service from the moment we arrived. If you’re travelling with adults and have experienced true 5-star standards, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

The prices for food and drink were beyond extortionate - a spirit alone was €14-17, the same price as a cocktail, a beer was over €7. Two smoothies cost €22. To eat breakfast , lunch and dinner as a couple with a baby was bad enough but how families can afford to eat and drink here is beyond me. We ended up spending approximately €250-€300 euros per day (excluding breakfast as that was included in the main booking). On 4 of the days we didn’t even eat lunch and we weren’t drinking a lot. We exchanged some English pounds at the hotel and they gave us exactly the same value in euros. They wouldn’t let you in the indoor pool unless you bought one of their swim hats which cost €5 each and they didn’t heat one outdoor pool so all of the children were complaining how cold the pool was all the time - I do understand in summer but during spring, it would be nice for at least 1 outdoor pool to be heated. Quite a few of the restaurants were closed or had private functions and they decided to close and renovate the only pub/indoor facility to have a drink in that’s not a restaurant which will eventually be turned into another restaurant! Overall, we enjoyed the stay but just felt very financially abused and so when facilities were unavailable and there wasn’t a single pool outside our baby could go in, it did feel very frustrating.

The location is stunning, the landscaping and gardens are very beautiful. The staff is very nice and attentive.

Just a detail. If you book a room with a 'resort view', check with reception to make sure you won't be overlooking the car park, unless that doesn't matter to you.

No pool bars were open to get a drink to sit by the pool which I found annoying. And no staff to ask so I had to walk all the way around to speak to someone at the reception

Amazing location! Our room had the best Seaview, every morning felt like we were waking up in Paradise. The cliffs, the Pine trees, the little birds singing throughout the day, the sound of the running water in the pool gave the whole scenery a magical touch. I was celebrating my birthday, and on arrival there was a bottle of sparkling wine and a beautiful card in my room, thank you so much for the lovely gesture. But what made our stay exceptional, was the lovely staff, from the minute we have arrived until we left we were made to feel at home. Excellent breakfast and outstanding cleanliness throughout the resort.

Gute Lage aber man braucht ein Auto. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. ANLAGE WEITLÄUFIG und vielseitig.

Leider war der Strand gesperrt und nicht alle Bars offen. Der Frühstücksraum war oft überfüllt und dadurch zu laut. Das sollten sie ändern.

Sehr nettes Personal,gutes Frühstück,schöne Anlage wenn auch sehr groß,toller Strand, sehr schöne Gartenanlage,beste Matratze die ich je hatte,ausreichend Handtücher und Kissen vorhanden,tolle Bettdecke,schönes Geräumiges Bad,netter kleiner Golfplatz, Massagen qualitativ sehr gut aber zu teuer ( die Trinkgeldempfehlung empand ich als unverschämt zwischen 30 und 50 Euro), die 2 Flaschen Wasser gratis täglich

Sehr hellhöriges Zimmer,im Sommer ist unterhalb Restaurant(zu laut und riecht permanent nach Holzkohle),Hotel ist im März eine einzige Baustelle, keinerlei Information das vor und hinter dem Zimmer permanent Gerüst auf- und abgebaut wurde. Kann man vorab doch mitteilen. Balkonsitzmöbel so niedrig das man nur die weiße Mauer des Balkons sieht und nicht dss Meer, Getränke und Essen völlig überteuert( 0,33 stilles Wasser in der Plastkflasche 4,40€).Spezialitätenrestaurants alle zu....wäre nucht annähernd bereit 7000Euro im Sommer füt mein Zimmer zu bezahlen. Zu wenig Platz am Pool (Liegen wurden im März schon reserviert). Gärtner extrem laut, lieben ihren Laubbläser und ihre Carts mit Motor( sehr laut)und wenn nicht,wird Rasen gemäht. Ich hab das in anderen Hotels schon anders erlebt(E Carts,Rasenmähroboter,Kehren statt wegblasen)

Wonderful location, fantastic amenities on the most part. Many restaurants however all closed except 2 and sadly one closed after the 2nd evening we were there. Honestly the staff were the high point, absolutely wonderful, helpful and genuine. You could really feel it compared to other places we have been. My only grype if you are a parent with a buggy, be prepared to have to lift it. Much if the site has stairs and in some cases requires a detour in order to use a ramp. For some it won’t be an issue at all. Just something to consider

Tudo perfeito. Foi em época baixa e portanto bastante tranquilo. Os funcionários da recepção foram nota 10. A limpeza é absolutamente impecável. Não encontrei nada que não estivesse perfeito! O pequeno-almoço é bastante completo e de acordo com a categoria do hotel.

Nice landscapping and plenty of activities.

Restaurant was just ok. The interior pool was nice, but temperature could be a little bit higher. But my 6 years old was able to swimm during winter.

No proper heating, no normal yoghurt only vegetable based - an absolute no go.

Das Hotel ist stilvoll in landestypischen Flair, alles sehr schön gestaltet, der Garten überaus gepflegt, das Personal sehr freundlich.

Das Personal im Golfshop/ Platzbuchung, auch dieses Mal ließ die Freundlichkeit zu wünschen übrig.

Beautiful Luxurious Hotel. A very family oriented hotel. Breakfast was abundant, fruits, juices, diff smoothies everyday. Service is excellent.. Our grandchildren didn’t want to leave…
