Unlike many "waterfront" hotels this one was actually on the waterfront, not the other side of the road. Good food reasonably priced, friendly staff and a good breakfast

Great location next to lake and park. Plenty of car parking although payable. Good Aircon, comfy bed, good sized room. Basic but pleasant hot and cold buffet breakfast.

Parking quite expensive even when registered at hotel.

The location is difficult to beat. Very central, close to the lake and lovely restaurants nearby.

The breakfast isn’t great but it is nice to have breakfast included.

Very old hotel that seems to be badly maintained. Bed sheets and covers are spoty and smelly, carpet is stained all over, towels have harsh touch, even desk chair is srcatched badly.

La localisation pour un arrêt sur notre route. Situé face au lac Ontario avec une belle longue promenade pavé longeant le lac sur un grand parc. Au centre-ville avec ses nombreux restaurants et terrasses. L’hôtel est très bien, le personnel accueillant. Notre chambre avec lit king était parfaite et avec toutes les commodités. Le déjeuner compris était complet avec une bonne variété. Stationnement 22$ pour 24h Restaurant terrasse sur place

The location was very good. Lots of walking areas by the water.

The lighting in the room could have been better. Also, there was no clock in the room.

Excellent location, clean, the most comfortable bed. Its had everything we needed. Breakfast was simple, but good, with eggs sausages and many goodies.

The pillows were bulky and on the hard side. The excercise mat in the gym was dirty. They should have a couple of them hung on the wall so it's not stepped on.

Great location and surroundings. Room was fine, Aircon was quite loud.

Breakfast was included but was pretty basic, and when weather was poor and couldn’t sit outside there was very limited indoor seating.

The staff were excellent. They accommodated every need, including accessibility concerns. There was also a lake view which was stated in the description.

Our primary difficulty was the volume. There was noise from outside (motors revving) and inside (voices and doors closing loudly) until approximately midnight. The lower ballroom has no elevator access, leaving it unavailable to persons with mobility devices and difficult and possibly unsafe for persons with limited mobility. Details mentioned in the promotional materials were not provided (bathrobes, gift shop and breakfast items specified).

Great room, great location. The breakfast was good, but it needs more variety in terms of food options.

Daily parking rate is still high.

The beds were comfy and the location was great

The air con was really loud. And the breakfast was terrible. There was a hair in the sausage patties.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful in dealing with the issue of a very unsuitable room

Room 123 is not suitable as a room. The outdoor restaurant is right outside the window. There were people right outside the window. It was very noisy. Thankfully, a kind staff person was able to trade a room for me, otherwise I would have left.

The location is convenient to access downtown Burlington.

Our air conditioner didn’t work in the room and they weren’t able to fix it. The hotel was not able to offer us another room and did not do much to compensate us for the inconvenience.

They made double debit for the room from the booking.com and at the check out,

The room could use some updates as some of the carpet was coming off the wall around the boarder of the room and the carpet seemed dirty and worn.

1- À mon arrivée aucune personnalisation Aucun contact visuel 2- personne pour nous indiquer où se trouve les ascenseurs 3- chambre 602 juste en face de la machine à glaçons 4- quand la porte de la chambre est fermée le soir toute la lumière du couloir rentre ( mauvaise isolation ) 5- le matin la femme de ménage est rentré dans notre chambre puis la responsable du ménage ! 6- le petit déjeuner: couvert en bois assiette en plastique, c est une honte! Il faut rentrer dans une petite salle pour se servir…. Puis tenter de trouver une place dehors ! C est inadmissible

Bathroom facilities could be better. Tub had some rust in the drain and needed a good deep clean. Staff in bar pretty rude and unprofessional, complaining about customers in front of other customers. Lighting a bit low in room and no blackout curtains. Air conditioner up to the max so not sustainable and why would anyone want to sit in such a cold room?! 21 is too cold! Breakfast a bit disappointing with plastic plates and disposable cutlery. Very wasteful.

Carpet in the room were stained and the last day we saw a small mouse in the 6th floor. A lady notified the front desk.

The room was wonderful, with a lovely personal touch, including a warm welcome and a handwritten note from the housekeeping team.

At several hotels in Canada, including this one, I noticed that disposable plates and plastic cutlery were used at breakfast. I found this quite surprising and a little disappointing, both from an environmental perspective and because, in my opinion, it takes away from the feeling of luxury you expect from a hotel.

Rooms were clean, however the smell of something damp and moldy followed us throughout the stay. We booked 2 rooms and the same smell was present in both rooms.

The pool was closed, even though there was no update on the website and no attempt by the hotel staff to provide advance notice. Everyone arriving with small children experienced the same level of disappointment. I wonder when was the last time anyone actually saw the pool open at this hotel.

The staff were very impatient when speaking to them. Front desk man misinformed us with breakfast times as we only had 4 min to just grab something before the lady in the breakfast area slammed the door.

Überall an den Ecken der Decke befanden sich Spinnweben, das Bad war dreckig und es flogen viele Fruchtfliegen im Zimmer herum. Außerdem war die Klima sehr laut.

Disappointed with the parking situation - the lot is also a pay to use for the public and when we arrived an event was going on close by, leading to there being no parking available for hotel patrons. We had to pay to park at a public lot over a block away

VERY noisy if you are going to stay here don't stay near the on site bar and restaurant. Top floors were perhaps quieter. Rooms are clean but aged. Pillows were terrible and new mattresses are needed. Parking on site is an absolute nightmare and it is 22/day if you can even get a spot. Would I stay here again. Probably not.

The location is perfect. Right on the water and easy access from the 403. The rooms were standard but updated recently from what I could tell and cleaned well. Beds were excellent and linens/towels higher quality than expected.

My only complaint would be the air conditioning in the room was quite noisy but a minor issue so positives definitely outweighed that.

Only complaint was the pool was out of service which is one of the main reasons I book this location for the kids.

Location was excellent! Beautiful view of the lake and walking distance to lots of good eats! Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy.

Since we booked this stay for Canada Day, the location was very convenient for us.

Unfortunately, the pool was closed without any prior notice, and the hotel refused to provide even a partial refund or compensation. It was a very hot day, and the kids were looking forward to swimming. As a paying customer, you expect to be able to enjoy the amenities you paid for, so this was very disappointing.

Breakfast was simple but good. Nice that you could sit outside and look at the lake.

Maybe change from sausages every day to bacon or ham. Nice to change it up. Plus scrambled eggs would be a nice addition.

The hotel room, breakfast, pool and location met our needs. The hotel staff were very helpful.

Beds are old and extremely uncomfortable. The beds sizes queen are actually double size, too small for two people. I have back/ neck/ shoulder issues and was in pain the entire time there and for days when got home. Our toilet needed to be plunged everyday because it wouldn't flush. The breakfast was low quality and poor selection. The pool was shut down on the most important day. We had to go down our selves for extra pillows or toilet paper etc. Noone brought anything to us. The fridge ended up freezing everything inside of it. The cable is very basic, not entertaining at all. The doors to each room are very very loud when opening and closing (mechanisms for handle/ lock). We expected alot better for a hotel on the water.

Perfect location on waterfront & Brant St Pier, we were treated to Canada Day race activities just outside our window & front door of hotel! Many nearby restaurants for easy dining access. Hot Breakfast provided was yummy; one day scrambled eggs & 2nd day omelettes, hash browns, sausage, yogurt, choice of toasted items & juices were quite sufficient for a great start to our days. Room was spacious & comfortable. Parking is charged by the hotel, don't pay outside at meter kiosks!

Really no complaints, but we were looking forward to swimming in pool. 1st attempt, pool was already pretty full w families swimming. 2nd attempt, pool closed for maintenance problem. But all staff were very pleasant & helpful, kudos!

This hotel provided the bare minimum. There’s no water in the rooms. Too much plastic is used. I’m surprised that there isn’t more of a green footprint. The breakfast was average at best again too much paper and plastic being used

There was no place to park Way park about two blocks away. I think you could use less paper less plastic and be more environmentally conscious You should provide water in the rooms

The air-conditioning didn't work. No one was sent to fix it, nor were we given an alternative room. The staff didn't seem to think it was a priority. The fridge had an awful smell coming from it. Paid extra for a view of the waterfront. Trees completely blocked any sort of view from the 2nd floor.

Absolutely beautiful! We will be back, this neighborhood is a hidden gem and I'm so happy I found it and will bring my family back to enjoy!
