Location. History.

Staff need to realize that the history will only carry you so far. China is changing they need to embrace tourism and be more considerate to outsiders.

Famous, historical hotel, right in front of People’s Park (several subway lines and the start of E Nanjing road) with very polite staff.

Room and especially bathroom could be bigger. Still needing a little more refurbishing (one can hear the water running from next door). Breakfast with good food but not enough tables (one had to share table with strangers).

The style of the hotel is very unique and atmospheric. I had a top-floor room, and I like the interior design and it is thought through each detail.

The reception staff is not very kind, nothing outstanding,.

Located next to 'People's Square', the hotel is in a great area with a couple of museums within 5minute walk and right in front of a subway stuff which can take someone directly to and from the airport. The staff was super nice and helpful, they let me leave my bags while the room was prepared which allowed some exploring pre check in. The breakfast has loads of choice and its completely worth it.

Lovely old hotel on Najing Road. Hotel was a little tired but great value for money and perfect location!

Clean with comfortable beds, and copious bottles of free water. Fabulous location.

It smelt very strongly of moth balls in reception (disgusting), and the whole hotel was very old-fashioned and needs a major update. The drain in the bathroom also smelled bad, which we complained about a few times. Staff were disinterested and not helpful.

A 2-es metróval a repülőtérről könnyen megközelíthető. Felemelő érzés volt magyarként egy ilyen ikonikus épületben megszállni, amit egy magyar építész tervezett. A Néppark közvetlen közelében helyezkedik el.

The hotel is perfectly located between the main tourist attractions. The French Quarter is about a 30-minute walk away, and it takes roughly the same time to walk to the other main sights. There is also a metro station nearby, which is very convenient. The room was wonderful. I honestly expected something worse, so it exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was absolutely delightful — I haven’t seen such an impressive variety at a hotel breakfast in years! Overall, the hotel is absolutely worth the money and offers excellent value for the price.

Location, cleanliness, friendly service.

There’s no ramp at the main entrance of the lobby, only staircases. This is a bit inconvenient for those with weak legs especially when carrying big luggages.

Это около 17 юаней с человека за поездку Еда достаточно хорошая на завтрак Чай есть, но там 1 пакетик как с утра заваривают, а потом только доливают кипяток 🤣 так что если хотите завтракать со свежим чаем, нужно идти к началу завтрака))) Отель очень большой! И построен лет так 100 назад) Конечно ковровые покрытия нуждаются в замене, и сейчас где то в отеле ведутся ремонтные работы Уборка каждый день, смена полотенец, ставят воду. Номера внутри тихие

The carpets were old, the rooms could use some minor repairs, and there was a smell of cigarette smoke on the third floor. The hotel bar could stay open longer.

Historical and classical style of the lobby and the room. The sheets and towels were very clean and well organised.

There were small insects in the bath room. I guess this was due to the old facilities. The toilet on the second floor was not clean.

Everything was amazing.

The shower drain was clogged and the water drained very slowly. I reported the issue several times during my stay. Each time, the staff told me they had sent a plumber while we were out and assured me that the problem had been fixed. However, when I returned and checked, nothing had changed—the drain was still clogged. After repeatedly reporting the same issue without any improvement, I eventually gave up because it was clear that nothing was being done to resolve it.

Het is een schitterend hotel met een rijke historie. Het is wel toe aan wat modernisering en daar zijn ze volgens mij net mee gestart. De locatie is perfect, tegenover een metrostation met 3 lijnen en dicht bij winkels en restaurants. De kamers zijn ruim genoeg en de bedden comfortabel.

Via het ventilatiesysteem komen soms etensluchten de hotelkamer in. De douche is aan de krappe kant en de wc met automatische klep gaan bij het minste of geringste open.

Saya request kamar di lantai agak tinggi dan berdekatan dgn kamar anak sy = di kasih kamar di lt3 dgn posisi paling ujung jauh dr akses lift dan jauh juga dr posisi kamar anak sy, padahal jika di lihat dr total kamar dgn tamu yg ada sangat jauh dr kata full 2. Ruangan kamar sangat bauuuuu dan bikin mual, bau khas badan orang china (maaf bukan rasis tp ini kenyataan) sampe sy beli pewangi ruangan krn saya sdh terlanjur boiking untuk 4malam mau minta pindah ganti kamar pun sdh tidak ada energi krn kami habis menempuh penerbangan jauh dan tiba masih subuh tdk bisa earky check in sehingga otak & mata sdh tdk 100% 3. selantai karpetnya bau khususnya area karpet di lorong kamar saya sangat2 bau susu basi 4. Staf front office / Resepsionis tidak bisa berbasa inggris ini hotel *4 loh bukan hotel murahan, masa mempekerjakan orang staf yg tdk bisa berbahasa Inggris di pelayanan terdepan, sedangkan di luar hotel banyak orang2 menjajahkan jualan kw dengan sangat pasih berbahasa Inggris, masa staf hotel *4 kalah dgn pedagang non resmi yg berkeliaran di trotoar jalan?

The location of the hotel couldn't be more perfect .. Metro Line 2 from the airport (either Pudong or Hongqiao) is a direct line to the People's Square metro station, and by using the exit 8 or 9, one simply crosses the road to reach the hotel ..the breakfast is excellent and offers a wide variety ..

the free WiFi in the room wasn't very good ...

Breakfast is excellent and meets my expectations well. The service lady who cleaned our room is very nice and responsible. We had a great service from her work.

The location is perfect. Cross the street and you directly reach the metro, walking short distance you already reach Nanjing Road. The hotel also surrounded with many great foods and restaurants (also the michelin authentic Cantonese cuisine restaurant). The concierge staff is so nice and so helpful, especially when I got troubles with taobao. The breakfast is good too.

The wifi in China can't reach gmail.

住宿地點超棒，地鐵2號線入口就在國際飯店門口正對面；人民公園、美食街黃河路就在咫尺之遙；張愛玲的卡爾登公寓也在旁邊。而國際飯店保持1930年代上海Grand Hotel的老派與大氣，坐在一樓的大堂彷彿穿越時空隧道，不像同年代的 和平飯店變得造作與小氣。

浴缸出了點問題，塞子無法堵水蓄水。服務人員好心要幫我們換房甚至升級，不過我們還是想要住在四樓可以看見公園的房間，所以留在原來的房間。這應該是住在百年歷史飯店可能付出的一點點小代價，但我覺得很值得~~

Uns gefällt das historische Ambiente und dieses Landmark Hotel in Shanghai. Überdies liegt es ideal für fußläufige Erkundungen und ist nicht weit vom Bund. Personal sehr aufmerksam und Frühstück gut.

Había olor a caño terrible. La habitación tenía humedad. Todo era muy viejo. La ducha el baño el sistema de aire acondicionado, las perillas de la pileta. Todo muy viejo y poco práctico. El olor a caño fue lo peor. Cada vez que prendía el aire inundaba un olor horrible tenía que dejar las ventanas abiertas durante el día. Estuve dos noches y no me hicieron nunca la cama. No recomiendo.

The reception staff and others were very friendly. I didn’t use their taxi service, but they supported me a lot in organizing it myself through Didi. While I was waiting for the taxi, they even came back to ask if I needed any help. Breakfast was excellent, with both Western and Eastern options—there were so many varieties, even things you wouldn’t expect. The location is perfect: the Hop-on Hop-off bus departs just nearby, and there is a metro station right across the street. Under the metro station, you can find shops with reasonable prices, and just 50 meters away there is a shopping mall where on the 9th floor you can enjoy delicious meals at fair prices. If you turn right out of the hotel entrance, there’s a coffee shop where everyone queues, and a little further there’s a restaurant serving Beef & Noodles. The hotel is close to everything. Taxis in Shanghai are very cheap, and downloading the Didi app (like Uber) is very useful.

위치가 정말 좋습니다. 와이탄, 신천지, 루이비통 배를 도보로 이동할 수 있었고, 신세계랑 제일백화점도 가까워 쇼핑하기 편했습니다. 맛집으로 유명한 헌지우이치엔, 차지, 헤이티 등을 쉽게 방문할 수 있었고, 주변 치안도 좋은 편이라 늦은 시간에도 비교적 안심하고 다닐 수 있었습니다. 특히 유명한 나비파이를 줄 서지 않고 룸서비스로 받아볼 수 있어 편리했습니다. 객실 청소 상태도 깔끔함

처음 배정받은 방은 도로변이었는데 방음이 거의 되지 않았습니다. 창문이 단창이라 밖에서 사람들이 대화하는 소리까지 들렸고. 다음 날 요청해서 방을 변경받았는데, 새 방은 이중창이라 외부 소음은 없었지만, 옆방에서 나는 소음이 크게 들려 숙면하기 어려웠다 . 직원들은 방 변경 요청에 응대해 주었지만, 전반적으로 객실 방음 상태는 아쉬웠습니다. 방음에 민감한 분들은 참고하시는 것이 좋겠습니다. 그리고 호텔내부가 금연이긴 하지만 그냥 내부에서 피는 듯 .. 방에 담배냄새가 가득 찹니다 ㅠㅠ

다음에 상하이 여행가면 여기 또 묵을거같아요! 일단 위치가 너무 좋아요 신천지 난징동루 사이에 있어서 걸어다니기도 편하고, 인민광장이 바로 앞에 있어요ㅋㅋㅋ 지하철역 나오면 바로 보여서 찾아가기도 편하고 공항 픽업 서비스가 없어서 아쉬웠는데 없어도 2호선 타고 바로 쭉 오면 돼요ㅋㅋ매일매일 청소해주시고 물도 2개씩 주십니당 친절하고 시설도 깔끔하고 침구도 깔끔하고 편해요 에어컨도 잘되어있어서 너무 편했어요 가성비도 좋아요 다음에 또 갈것 같아요!

조식이 생각보다 먹을게 많지 않아요 베이커리류 좋아하시면 좋을거 같은데 저는 완전 밥파여서 식사류가 조금 아쉬웠어요ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 상하이 먹을거 많으니까 조식은 굳이 안하셔도 될듯합니다^^

Хороший отель в самом центре Шанхая. Учитывая, давность его постройки и не совсем новый ремонт, все было хорошо. Конечно, уже все немного подуставшие, но было чисто и аккуратно. Номер выходил окнами прямо на пешеходную улицу. Расположение великолепное - сразу начиналась пешеходная улица. Метро прямо через дорогу. Удобно добираться до любой точки города. Сам номер маленький, но это понятно было по описанию. Убирались ежедневно, смена полотенец так же. В номере в наличии был зонт, который пригодился. Завтраки хорошие: были как европейские позиции, так и китайские. Сам зал небольшой, если приходить в часы пик, возможно, сложно будет найти свободный столик. Персонал не очень хорошо говорит на английском языке, но понять друг друга можно.

Единственное, что не понравилось - в номере периодически было холодно. Кондиционер на обогрев не работал.

Хороший приятный классический отель из 80-х с идеальным расположением, прекрасным отзывчивым персоналом, чистыми номерами и вкусными завтраками. Большая кровать с хрустящими простынями, мягкими подушками и тёплым одеялом - это то, что дает отлично выспаться.

Узкая ванна, кожаное кресло и очередь за "бабочками" в пекарне, но это только мое мнение )

Мы первый раз остановились в Shoxjahon Hotel — и остались очень довольны 🤍 Очень приятный и внимательный персонал, уютная атмосфера и отличный сервис. Всё чисто, спокойно и комфортно.

De locatie van het hotel.

Echt gedateerd, het personeel vonden wij niet vriendelijk of behulpzaam. Behalve de bewaker bij de lift in de avond. We kregen eerst een hele oude kamer, met een fluitende airconditioning en een douchegordijn. Daarna wel een betere kamer gekregen met mooi uitzicht over het park.

スタッフの皆さんが親切で、お部屋も広々していて家具も十分でした。また、地下鉄駅もバス停も至近距離にあり、想像以上に便利なロケーションでした。さらに、朝食ビュッフェも充実していてとても嬉しかったです。

要求不吸烟的房间和楼层，但过道里还是有烟味。希望能改进。

地点很好，位于市中心。房间面积较大，但房价比较贵（2790.24/2晚）。

员工服务态度不热情，尤其是服务台前的女经理，这次是我们第二次（上次是2024年5月）碰到她了，我们很不高兴。

ロケーションがよく、観光に便利でした。また、歴史を感じる建物で、1930年代に関心がある私にぴったりでした。

豪華だし清潔なのですが、築年数がたっているせいか、トイレットペーパーが手の届きにくいところに設置されているとか、枕元に空いているコンセントがない（私は眠る時機械が必要です）とか、細かい不便さがありました。また、トイレは逆に全自動で、そばに行くと勝手に蓋が開いてしまい、せわしなかったです。スタッフはとても垢抜けていてプロだと感じましたが、存在して、一般公開されている魯迅故居への行き方を尋ねたところそんなものは上海にないといわれてしまいました。

位於人民廣場旁，也離地鐵站近走出來一下就到，徒步走去南京東路和外灘也方便，不會太吵視野不錯，雖然老字號飯店且房間也很古典，但舒適性真的不錯，我很少住飯店可以第一天就睡的很舒服的，早餐有但我連續住都睡太晚沒吃到所以無法給評價如何，門口有外送智能櫃叫外送也合適，門口白天會有排隊買蝴蝶酥的一堆人，但蝴蝶酥我沒買，飯店房客可以房間掃碼下訂，我覺得是住的很舒服的單人房

1 鄰房如果小吵是會聽到聲音的，但這些聲音都在非睡眠時間所以還可以接受 2 第3天晚上隔壁的房客是新入住的，結果第4天一早就聞到有菸味，從空調或是哪傳過來的

Perfect location, beautiful art deco hotel. There is an exhibition on the first floor that I recommend to visit.

호텔 건너면1,2,8호선. 인민공원에서 산책하기 좋아요. 룸 크고,수압도 좋고, 침구가 아주 편했습니다. 담배냄새나 뭐 그런건 없었습니다. 도보로 푸동쪽으로 걸어갈만했고 주위에 백화점과 쇼핑센터 안에 맛있는 음식점 들도 많았습니다. 고풍스런 실내장식도 맘에 들고 역사를가진 오래된 호텔이라는 점도 좋았습니다. 매일 2병 물, 청소해 줍니다.
