Great location cannot make up for dated facilities and unpleasant odors in‑room.

While the location is excellent, the hotel feels quite worn. There was an odd stale smell inside the room, and towels had an unpleasant funky odor, which greatly affected my stay experience.

Posizione eccezionale, proprio a due passi da Nanjing Road e da People's Square con fermata della metro. Struttura bellissima, merita tutte le 5 stelle. Palestra grandissima ed attrezzata con macchinari tecnogym aperta sempre, piscina riscaldata con idromassaggio, sauna e bagno turco aperta fino a tardi con servizio eccellente. Stanza con una vista wow al piano 30, pulitissima, bagno enorme con vasca e super doccia. La colazione migliore di tutta la Cina, fornitissima. Rispetto agli altri alberghi, anche della medesima categoria, il personale molto cordiale ma più distaccato, ma è anche normale in una catena, comunque gentilissimi anche nel prepararci la colazione a portar via il giorno della partenza. Location was very good, very close to Nanjing Rd Pedestian street, the gym was very big and clean with good equipment and the reception (Camille) wav very helpful and friendly to us.

The breakfast was ok, but quite crowded. Had to wait long for some items.

Rosie was very attentive.

The location was good. The room was generally clean and big.

It is quite old school and not kids friendly (basin is too high for the kids, the cups are all glass). The bathroom can get really slippery and dangerous for young children. Services were internationally standard but for China, you could get better value elsewhere.

Very nice hotel in a great location within walking distance to nanjing street and lots of restaurants and cafes. The room was comfortable, and i slept very well. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of western and asian options.

Отель не очень свежий, но действительно ухоженный, достойный. Старая добрая классика для любителей красивой жизни. Расположение прекрасное. Номера комфортные, хорошая уборка, все прекрасно. Честно, даже нечего добавить. По отелю, наполнению номеров нет вопросов!

Сложно найти вход в отель с улицы-скрыт среди домов. Очень долго ждать лифты. Депозит при заселении. Долгое заселение, сотрудники впаривают апгрейд за дополнительные деньги. Очень дорогие завтраки-порядка 30 евро на человека. На завтраках много специфических блюд китайской кухни, из европейской по сути только яица и омлеты. Очень странно работает персонал-некоторые дни рассаживали каждого гостя за конкретный стол, все было четко, постоянно обновляли еду. А в некоторые - был полный бардак-мест не было, и еду никто не обновлял. Но при этом завтрак в целом производит приятное впечатление. В лобби работает бар-с ну просто нереально высокими ценами…

The reception staff was amazing and kindly allowed us to check in early. The room was large, very comfortable, and the beds were big and cozy. Also, the cleanliness in the room was excellent. Location is the best, nearby mall shoppings center, metro station, and Nanjing road, less then 5 minute all As a small suggestion, the breakfast could be improved with higher-quality products. Overall, we had a wonderful experience!

The location was convenient, and the hotel had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. Our whole family enjoyed the experience, and we would happily stay here again. Avevo bisogno di fare il check in online e non riuscivo. Il concierge è stato gentilissimo e parlava un ottimo ingese, cosa non così scontata in Cina nemmeno nei grandi alberghi.

Avevo chiesto e pagato una camera con vista sullo skyline, motivo per cui avevo scelto quest'albergo. All'arrivo mi hanno detto che mi avevano fatto un upgrade della camera. Sono salita e dalla mia camera si vedeva in primo luogo tutto il macchinario dei motori esterni dell'aria condizionata, e la vista era sui palazzi civili di Shanghai (piuttosto brutti). Sono scesa per reclamare ma non è servito a nulla. Sono andata nella camera degli amici e loro avevano esattamente la camera con vista che avevo richiesto e pagato. Ovviamente l'unica cosa che posso fare è non scegliere più un albergo di questa catena, ma intanto ho pagato il prezzo maggiorato per una cosa che non ho ottenuto. Esperienza pessima.

Замечательный отель! Удобное расположение, вкусный, разнообразный завтрак. Прилетели на 2 дня позже из-за задержки рейса (тайфун), с нас не взяли плату за 2 забронированных дня.

Окна выходи на кондиционеры, не возможно спать.

Service en locatie. Met name Aiden en Miles. Mijn man had zijn tas met portemonnee en paspoort achtergelaten in de didi (taxi). En we konden moeilijk communiceren met de chauffeur. Miles heeft ons hierbij enorm geholpen. Verder is Aiden erg attent. Hij zag dat we de stad wilden verkennen maar geen paraplu’s bij ons hadden. Toen bood hij paraplu’s aan. De ligging van het hotel is ook erg gunstig.

Mijn dochter en ik waren erg geschrokken toen we in de lobby naar het toilet wilden gaan. De schoonmaakster zat met de deur open een grote boodschap te doen. Uhhh, dat heb ik zeker niet verwacht.

De service is uitstekend. Deze service begint al wanneer we de taxi uitstapten. De vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid van het personeel begint echt direct bij de entree. Met name Aiden. Ondanks zijn gebrekkig Engels en mijn gebrekkig Chinees nam hij veel moeite en geduld om ons op weg te helpen met bestellingen via Meituan en het plaatsen van reserveringen voor ons in restaurants.

プール、ジム、サウナがあってホテル時間も楽しめる。 コネクティングルームがあり、ファミリーで過ごしやすい。 スタッフはみんな親切で、日本語ができるドアマンが話しかけてくれたり、フロントスタッフKOIさんはチェックアウトの時に特に親切に対応してくれた。

朝食の種類は豊富だが、日本人の口に合うものは少ない。

We had a great stay at Mariott Marquis in Shanghai. Both the room and the amenities were top notch. The service, especially the help from Mark, were great during our entire stay.

Great breakfast, swimming pool was open until 11pm.

Bathroom was not modern.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, within walking distance of both Nanjing Road and People's Square. Our room had a stunning skyline view, making the evening city lights especially enjoyable. We arrived on the same day as Typhoon Dolphin, which made for quite a memorable experience.

The hotel does not offer a self-service laundry service. The international TV channels, including HBO and CNN, were also quite unstable, often experiencing glitches and screen flickering

호텔 위치가 신세계 백화점과 제일백화점을 마주보고 있어서 도보로 식사와 쇼핑이 가능했어요. 도보로 갈 수 있는 마사지샵도 많은것도 너무 좋았구요. 호텔이 5성급이긴 하나 연식이 좀 되긴 했지만 룸 컨디션은 청결합니다. 매번 응대도 잘해주고 특히 친철했던 Tristan에게 고맙구요. 다시 상하이에 가도 메리어트 가고 싶어요. 적극 추천합니다.

Tristan served me for the check out. Through the stay the staff were really helpful in helping change to a bigger room and add a bed very quickly to ensure we have a comfortable stay in marriot. In addition, the staff were helpful in providing bottled water and helping with luggages with a smile whenever we needed them. The typhoon dolphin came and the staff were helpful to us in making our travel as comfy as possible. Would stay again!

أكثر ما أعجبني في الفندق هو الموقع. الموقع ممتاز جدًا وحيوي، وكل شيء تقريبًا قريب؛ توجد مطاعم وسوبرماركت وخدمات كثيرة في المنطقة، كما أن الموقع قريب من شارع نانجينغ رود والبوند، مما يجعل التنقل والوصول إلى الأماكن الرئيسية سهلًا ومريحًا. طاقم الفندق متعاون جدًا، وحتى الموظفون الذين لا يتحدثون الإنجليزية بشكل جيد كانوا دائمًا يحاولون استخدام الترجمة للتواصل معنا وتقديم المساعدة، وهذا شيء أعجبني جدًا. الغرفة تعتبر واسعة ومساحتها جيدة ومريحة، خصوصًا للعائلات، وهذا من الأمور الإيجابية التي أعجبتني في الفندق.

أكبر مشكلة بالنسبة لي كانت الإنترنت. خدمة الواي فاي ضعيفة جدًا لدرجة أنك تشعر وكأنه لا يوجد إنترنت في الفندق تقريبًا، لذلك لا أنصح بالاعتماد على إنترنت الفندق أثناء الإقامة. كذلك خيارات خدمة الغرف (Room Service) محدودة جدًا، خصوصًا من ناحية الأطباق العالمية، حيث لا يوجد سوى طبق أو طبقين تقريبًا كخيارات مناسبة. أيضًا لا يوجد Minibar فعلي بالمعنى المعتاد، فلا توجد فيه حتى سناكات أو خيارات بسيطة للأكل والمشروبات. وحتى كبسولات القهوة المتوفرة في الغرفة كانت محدودة؛ فقد تم توفير كبسولتين فقط رغم أن الغرفة كانت لثلاثة أشخاص. كان من الممكن أن تكون تجربة الفندق أفضل بكثير لو تم توفير Minibar متكامل وخيارات أكثر في قائمة خدمة الغرف. وأخيرًا، في بعض الأوقات كان من الصعب الحصول على رد من خدمة الغرف بسبب ضغط العمل، وهو أمر قد يكون مزعجًا خصوصًا عند الحاجة إلى طلب شيء من الغرفة.
