Wonderful staff, hotel and facilities. I have access needs and they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and cared for.

The location was fabulous with easy parking right behind the hotel. The bar and courtyard garden were delightful and the building itself beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and loved the addition of milk to go with tea and coffee facilities in the room (so often overlooked!).

The room and bathroom were quite small and the aircon was not that effective but this did not spoil our enjoyment. We also had to search for the second set of bath towels (but probably not set out in bathroom due to lack of space?).

Breakfast excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location perfect for the theatre in Stratford. Lovely walks by the river and visiting historical sites in Strattford. Saw "The Mad King" a friend had the main part. Met him for a drink

Parking expensive. I think free parking should be provided for a high end hotel. Coffee machine should have a plug near where the machine is placed

The hotel was beautiful! The old portion is very eclectic, and keeps is original feel. The newer portion works very well with the theme of the older section. The service was great no matter where I was, it is close to everything in town, and lots of parking available.

No counter space in the bathroom for personal items when getting ready. The internet app to pay for parking wouldn't work but the front desk helped to to take care of it.

Hotel staff were lovely, breakfast was delicious and the hotel was generally well presented.

Sadly the rooms were not at all soundproofed and we didn't sleep a wink because it was so noisy. We could even hear the people in the room next door going to the toilet!

This was a great hotel. Location was close yo the centre of the city and it was located in a delightful old building. The room had everything that I needed.

It was close to the theatre and the staff were absolutely lovely. Shoutout to the reception staff that left no questions unanswered and helped with every little request.

Booked a late check out which was not recorded and when I attempted to get back into my room the key card would not work. I brought this to the staff and was told it was not booked. Had a long wait until my flight so a late check out was needed. This was very inconvenient

Superb hotel in prime location with paid parking ( £15 per 24 hrs at time of writing).

L'hôtel est idéalement situé, au centre de la ville et près des lieux touristiques. Le petit déjeuner est varié. Il peut satisfaire les gros appétits. La chambre, au calme, avait une belle vue sur le patio.

Il n'y avait pas assez de boissons variées dans le mini bar.

Very well designed conversion and extension. Very good location 5 mins walk from the RSC.

The bathroom has no space to put toilettry bags and the shelf about the basin is low so it prevents one bending over the basin

The hotel itself is beautiful and in a gorgeous location. We had a contemporary room which was lovely and well air conditioned!

The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, places to see and good restaurants in town. Everything was perfect, from rooms to breakfast to granting us an early check-in, because we wanted to attend a matinee.

A wonderful hotel, great location and lovely, helpful staff. It’s my go-to hotel in Stratford.

It is pricey depending on when you book, is the only thing to be aware of.

Terrific location with very helpful and friendly staff. The old part of the hotel is very attractive, but we were glad we chose a room in the modern part as the aircon was very welcome on the hottest day of the year. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast isn’t cheap but was excellent.

No BBC in our room and view of the carpark wasn’t very inspiring, but neither were a big issue.

Location: easy to find, easy to park, central location so easy to get to the theatre, restaurants and shops! And all with the quirky Indigo interiors, service & scent.

The food in the restaurant was ok but could have been better for the price. Also where you could sit based on which menu you wanted ( pre-theatre, all day or al a carte) was ridiculously over complicated!

Would prefer a bigger room with more space. Please be consistent about bed sizes as I thought that I had booked a room with a large bed. Room was cramped and noisier than expected. Bathroom was OK. Breakfast was OK but the kitchen can never give you exact what you request for breakfast. Ask for one egg and get two! Please improve the coffee too. I thought that I had booked a large bed but the room had a smaller one than expected. Parking is more of a hassle than has been in the past. It was also v expensive this time.

We love this property and have been here 3 times now :)

My bed was so hard - we were in the old part of the building for the first time - I was glad it was only 2 nights or my hips wouldn’t have coped. Mum’s room in the newer part was ok and she’s the most important!

We didn’t get the facilities we had payed for. Fobbed off with half truths and misled. Booked a standard king but told that only room was Queen. Ie smaller Pocky room/no A/c just fans. Only one chair

Mini bar was rubbish. Only one can of soft drinks and some cans of water. At least use it properly and keep some beers, wines and snacks there which you are able to buy. Room service menu very very limited at night.

Superschönes Hotel zentral in der Stadt mit großem hoteleigenen Parkplatz (15 Pfund am Tag). Sehr schönes Frühstücksbuffet. Restaurant und Pub im Haus. Zimmer klimatisiert und liebevoll eingerichtet.

Very disappointed with the lack of communication over 24 hours to reply to a request to change dates as I had mistakenly booked the wrong Sunday in August Point blank refused to change dates even after offering to pay extra I always thought the customer comes first in hospitality but clearly this hotel group have different policies

More tea bags in the room . Breakfast was ok , but we gave our order for the cooked breakfast , went to get our cereal and the. Poked breakfast appeared whilst we were still eating our cereal . The member of staff took them away , but the cooked breakfast was returned to us luke warm . The vegan breakfast was very uninspiring and small : 1 sausage , 1 hash brown , a few beans , 1 mushroom and half a tomato , with a dollop of wilted spinach ! Neither warm nor filling !

The reception staff were lovely.

The house keeper "apparently" threw out some gifts i had left behind, instead of declaring them to the manager. They "assumed" because they were in tissue paper( wrapped by the shop i purchased them from) they were broken,and left to be disposed off...🤨 ( they didnt check??) Hmmmm....wasnt happy at all

A very well appointed hotel. I loved it. The staff a welcoming and friendly and go the extra mile to help. The breakfast was varied with excellent hot dishes freshly made. Proper coffee in a real pot! No pesky machines! The room was great and the beds and pillows very comfortable. The barbecue on offer as it was Sunday night was generous and tasty. Location perfect.

Good location, above-average restaurant. Average to underwhelming waiter service. The poor manager has to serve and do his best to instill in the staff a sense of good service. They won't be able to develop a sense of urgency.

Waiter service: there is no communication with guests during breakfast. The layout of the breakfast area and breakfast service was poor. You have to ask where the milk is, and then they bring it from the back of the kitchen. The menu is not explained; you have to ask.

Hotel was First Class

Right in the heart of town, but with a tucked-away feel. Spotless, comfortable room - great shower. Excellent service from helpful and friendly staff, from check-in to bar to morning coffee in the courtyard garden.

They had a nice garden.

Staff was not good. We had to take our luggage up a steep flight of stairs because there was no staff to assist. Front desk was mediocre at best.

The hotel was amazing, right in front of Shakespeare New place. Very close to RSC. The room was very good and quite big. greta bathroom. I had a side room and it was very peaceful at might. Walking distance from the train station.

Our room request , booked 6 months in advance was not met . Yes, the booking site does say that it’s not guaranteed however booking that forward in advance, I would have thought that we would have given priority especially since I was emailed three times asking me what room type I wanted . Whilst the room was clean and the bed was great , It was difficult to get to the room as it had very shallow and steep steps. The flooring in the room was also uneven to the point that if you Placed an item on the dresser it rolled off the top . The cabinet which housed the fridge , tea / coffee and wardrobe even kept shutting closed due to the slope of the floor . I mentioned I had vertigo to reception and the uneven floor boards added to my dizziness .

Breakfast very good. Staff excellent. We liked the separate lounges and the decor. Location was excellent, close to theatre , river and shops.

The location is great, right in the centre of Stratford, and the heart of the hotel is a lovely old building. The rooms are nicely designed.

We asked for a quiet room. The request was logged months ago and we were assured on check-in that it had been honoured. In fact, we were given a ground floor room right by the street with little or no soundproofing. It felt like passers-by were talking by our bedside, and that cars were driving through our room. Breakfast was ok, but the hot food, ordered at and served to our table, had clearly been under a warmer in the kitchen and was dried up. Most service people were good, but the check-in person seemed disinterested.

We had pre-paid for our breakfast and weren’t disappointed. There was plenty of choice, presented well, the service was a combination of waitress and self service, which worked well. The food ordered was delivered quickly and was tasty and well cooked.
