Reviewed Jun 18, 2026Loved that the location is right off the highway. The breakfast was yummy and had an ok selection. Loved the fact they had someone making waffles for you instead of kids getting burned. Loved the fact shopping is close by
If offering a kitchen provide a broom. I didn't like walking over crumbs. Pool needs to be checked often. We found towels went quickly and often parents did not come to supervise and kids getting hurt.

On the first day, the cabinet of mugs had coffee on it. I didn’t expect it, so when I grabbed it, the coffee almost spilled on my face! I was so upset, I almost took a coffee shower 🤭

Walking distance to all kinds of shopping (including a grocery store) and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. A small breakfast buffet is included.

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026Like living in a one bedroom apartment but better (scheduled room cleaning). Hotel common areas are clean, full size fridge and two burner surface plate. Small dishwasher, utensils, pots, pan, plates, mugs, dishes, toaster and coffee maker. Lots of plug ins. Hot tub, water slide and splash park is popular. Great exercise room and equipment. Laundry facility for guests is on main floor and reasonably priced. Three each washers and dryers. Free breakfast. Coffee is ready early. Well run establishment.

A few hockey teams staying for the weekend (often challenging for all parties) but the hotel had some sensible controls in place which allowed all to cohabit peacefully. Out of the way locations, but fine with a car for a quick stay. Staff lovely and friendly. Very clean and well maintained.

The reservation process was bad. Couldn’t get the online reservation process to do two night in a row. The phone reservation person lied to me about availability so I made a reservation with her. Then went back to the online site and was able to make the reservation for what I wanted for $100 less. Called to cancel the first reservation only to find out I had to pay a service fee of $18 for bad service!!!

The pool. Oh the pool! Best hotel pool Iv ever stayed at. So much fun. I love the consideration they took to create a splash pool for little kids unlike most pools that are deep the whole way through. 10/10. Cant wait to come back!

Reviewed Oct 6, 2025Was impressed by the kitchenette in the suite. Was cozy and for just being off the lobby it was quite quiet. I was expecting to be grumpy hearing all the people in the lobby. I'm the morning you couldn't even tell breakfast had begun.
Not much to complain about. The pool walls and floors were a bit grimy. Parking sort of sucks. Most parking is at the side or back of the building and it's a bit of a hike to get to the front

The woman who staffed breakfast was so helpful - providing me with gluten free bread and my own toaster and directing me to the oat milk.

The staff are hard-working and friendly, the property kept clean and the pool was a great hit for the adults and littles alike. Thank you, we hated the reason for being in Medicine Hat but loved our stay with this property.
