Room and bathroom are spacious. Very prompt response to our requests for towel and boiler. Cleanliness is top notch. Shuttle access to the airport was a Godsend as we had to make our way to and fro the airport for luggage retrievals and flight rebooking due to flight cancellations at Vancouver airport due to a storm. The drivers were courteous and helpful too.

The lady had reception was detached and unfriendly.

The location is excellent. We had a late flight and planned to rent a car to drive to the Interior the next day. Shuttle bus arrived on time, despite the late hour. Check-in quick and smooth. Comfortable beds. We had a great breakfast at a little coffee shop (the Four Seasons) about a 3 minute walk away in the office park next door. Walking distance to the Enterprise (and Costco!). V. nice outdoor pool. I wish we had longer, because my teens really liked the pool and the outdoor courtyard. V. quiet, despite being next to a highway and near the airport.

One downside: we are huge fans of Vancouver transit and this hotel is a bit of a hike to the Skytrain station if you wanted to go into the city, but a quick Uber or bus ride away. The walk along Edwards and Bridgeport is a bit daunting, because it's very busy traffic. It doesn't look like it is near services because of the proximity to the highway, but there are actually some things a fairly short walk away once you are off those highway/streets. Also, this is the second time I've stayed here after a late flight, and couldn't get someone on the phone to confirm the shuttle service. It ended up being fine, but you really need to have someone answering the phones, even at midnight.

Long wait for room, despite request for early check in. It was nearly 3 hour wait. . Would not hold it luggage because "they already had too much." Shuttle driver non-communicative. Hotel not as clean as I would expect, yeah in the hall including a box cutter blade stuck in the carpet.

Clean, fancy, quiet provided robes in the rooms. Staff were all polite and helpful. The pools were great.

Outdoor swimming pool was amazing!!!!

Bath tub was plugged. Asked for cleaning. Left hotel in a morning. Came back around 10 pm. No body shows up to resolve this problem. Room service wasn't provided. Called to reception around 10-15. Explained what's happened. In 2 minutes maintenance guy came to the room and cleaned the drain. Was traveling with my wife and kid. My 6 years daughter was sitting and waited for shower. Very bad experience with this hotel.

The room was nice and the bathroom. Also the restaurant was nice.

I didn't like how far was the room to the entrance , also it was confusing to find it .

Loved the comfort of the room and beds. Shuttle bus to and from intnl airport was super handy and convenient to access the skytrain.

Columbia tower gets quite a lot of noise from the main highway that runs parallel to property but it wasnt too bad. No cups or teaspoons in room for makibg coffee, again minor thing.

Rooms could have been cleaner

Everything was great however the facility was very big. People and service was friendly and kind.

The only part was that we had a difficult time finding anyone to assist and replace swim towels. When we did find someone that said they would bring swim towels it never came. It is quite a walk for us to the swimming location. Which is understandable since it is quite a large facility.

A little expensive for what it is, but the location was very convenient and tons of free parking.

The Sandman Signature made an easy stay for one night in between our cruise and flight home. The resort itself shows some aging but the outstanding staff made us feel welcomed, especially Kay. The Room: this would be my only complaint of this stay, when I walked in the room it had a heavy smell that I could not tell what it was. As the night went by the best description would be like old smelly shoes. Other than that, the bed was comfortable and the views were gorgeous! The gym and indoor pool were small but not overfilled by guests. The outdoor pool was larger and had more people. We chose the hotel due to the free shuttle, though it’s a first come first serve so make sure you give yourself extra time to get to the airport, though that was super easy and we had extra time to spare! The chop house attached to the hotel was a little pricier of a restaurant but well worth every dime. The food and manager on staff both were amazing!

Cleaning was a bit complicated. We asked to come to clean our room in 1hr but eventually it was not cleaned for few days . After complaining to manager our room was finally cleaned.

We got in late after 8pm. The room was dirty there was a used razor and washcloth in the shower , the ceiling was falling down. Front desk took pics of the pics I took and done nothing about it

A one night layover before a long flight to New Zealand. Picked for the complimentary shuttle and pool for the kids. A great waterslide that was enjoyed on a rainy day! Convenient to the airport with the shuttle. Rooms are a bit dated and could use a refresh with some carpet pulling and old air con units. Regardless of these cosmetic issues the hotel reception were helpful, the hotel was clean and we had a great rest before carrying on our long trek home. Would stay again!

The king bed in the family suite was extremely comfortable. Best night's sleep in a hotel ever! Our children loved the huge waterslide and did not want to leave! Great location, great restaurant downstairs (Chop), and lots of parking at the hotel.

There were no vending machines in the part of the hotel we were staying in (that we could find anyways and we followed the signs), likely because of what looked like some ongoing renovations.

Leider ist es extrem laut durch den Highway so das an schlafen nicht zu denken ist. Die Fenster halten den Geräusch der Autobahn nicht richtig ab und die Terrassentür scheint auch nicht richtig zu schließen

No break fast. We were not informed ahead of time. Like guest house absence of break fast is not normal, non provision of at least water is not fair. Water shouldn't have to be a big deal in this Great Country, with abundant water resources.

I requested a room with a walk-in shower rather than a shower over a bath, as I have mobility issues. This was not provided nor was it communicated to me that this would not be possible. I was unable to shower as a result.

Front desk is short of staffing. I waited 10 minutes during checking out for some questions, but there was only one person handling the long lines around 10:30am in the morning. I ended up just dropped the keys in the key box and left without an answer.

We arrived at 6.30, tired and in need of rest. Check in was not until 3pm. The staff were amazing,our room wasn't ready so they put us in another one. We slept all day. It made such a difference to our stay in Canada to have such friendly thoughtful people to start our holiday. Bed was so comfortable and we highly recommend this hotel.

The building was very dark and dirty in a lot of areas including our room. They were no food services,snacks or soft drink/ice machines available. The room was way over-priced for what was offered.

Cancelled with 6 days notice due to an uncontrollable family medical situation. Hotel refused repeatedly to waive the cancellation fee and we were forced to pay $350 out of pocket. Terrible customer service. Will not stay here. They are only out for money and do not care about customers

We had issues with the air temperature but that was taken care of fairly quickly. In the past, the host hotel for the ABFM would provide a special parking area for cars registered for the event but not this time--very disappointing. Plus, we hated the location of the room off in a "tower" that was only two stories--not our definition of a tower.

My husband and I needed a place to stay the night before we embarked on our Alaskan cruise. Room availability was limited but we did find one with this hotel, but at a very steep price. The room was adequate but nothing special especially considering that we paid more than $600 US dollars for one night. They did not have a hair dryer in the bathroom, we had to call maintenance to get the bathroom sink to drain and there was a very bright light outside our window which the curtains were not able to fully extinguish. The general decor needs a refresh, there were obvious signs of age everywhere. No breakfast is included in this hotel, but the Denny's next door was very tasty.

Wow. Again all the bad reviews 🤷‍♀️ Great early arrival and straight into our room ( 10am 👍) Really good sized room ( 2 queen sized beds!). Everything that you could require. This is primarily an airport hotel so on a busy road and close to the airport.. can’t hear anything though. Extremely clean room with all amenities that you could require. First time I’ve stayed at a hotel that had makeup removal pads 👍👍. Lovely pool areas. We had a buffet dinner in one of the function rooms… very nice. Lunch was at CHOPS restaurant in-house 👍👍.

Loved to be close to the airport. After I drove 11 hours to Vancouver, I didn't feel like driving another hour after picking up my husband from the airport.

Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het restaurant, dat niet van het hotel is, is zeer goed met een fijne sfeer. Er rijdt de hele dag een shuttlebus van en naar het vliegveld waar je nooit lang op hoeft te wachten.

Door de ligging is er erg veel lawaai van het verkeer waardoor slapen met het raam open lastig is. De airco maakt echter enorm veel herrie en blaast over het bed zodat dit voor de nacht ook niet echt een optie is. In zijn er geen mogelijkheden om leuk te wandelen.

Before booking, avoid the Columbia Tower rooms, especially if traveling with pets. My husband and I stayed at Sandman Signature Richmond for two nights with our two dogs to celebrate our anniversary. It was a serious letdown. We were first assigned Room 303, which had a blocked balcony and a loud air vent right outside. After requesting a room change, the second room wasn’t much better. Both felt outdated and poorly maintained. No bathroom fan, trash left by a previous guest, stains on the carpet, headboard, and curtains, and the jacuzzi timer was broken during our stay. Not what you’d expect from a property marketed as 4 stars. Customer service was mid at best. The long-bearded guy who was always on the phone was professionally racist, made me feel uncomfortable. This hotel might work for a quick overnight or layover, but I wouldn’t recommend it for pet owners or anyone planning a special stay. What was supposed to be a memorable anniversary trip ended up being the opposite.

Everything! Poor value, health club, hot tub broken, most of front desk staff were unpleasant, dated room, separation between ceiling and walls suggest bugs at night might enter, carpet worn/ torn going into bathroom. Wallpaper near front door appears to be peeling.

The staff were amazing !! Unfortunately we had a suite on the 2nd floor and we couldn't sleep for the 4 nights we stayed as the water pipes kept waking us up. We talked with the front desk after our 1st night and they said to just leave the ac on to muffle the noise. We said we would try that but unfortunately it didnt help.

Overpriced for the condition of the rooms. Servicing the rooms did not happen without complaining. Sheets/Towels not changed, wallpaper hanging off in the bathroom, towel rails hanging off, Shower Gel dispenser empty & never replenished despite complaint, conditioner dispenser fallen off and never fixed, coffee often not replenished, etc. etc. etc. Maintenance/service in this hotel is a complete breakdown while price is on 4-star level!

Great to have a free shuttle to and from the Hotel to airport. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, plenty of towels. The reception Staff were exceptionally helpful, keeping our suitcase for a week before our stay and organising freezing space for our fish. Restaurant waitress was great fun and put on the heaters for us when the evening cooled down.

Even though I gave the hotel more than 24 hour notice of needing to check out one day earlier, they refused to refund nor credit me. Lost 1,100.00

Perfect location within easy reach of the airport and by chance exactly where we needed to be the next morning for a coach pick up to Seattle. The sports bar is a favourite of ours as returning visitors.

Service in the sports bar on this occasion was poor. We were sat in a corner booth, which suited us, but table staff were obviously rushed and failed to notice us on a number of occasions. We eat bread from a napkin laid across the table as no side plates in sight. I managed to grab cutlery from a nearby table.
