Sehr geräumig für uns drei. Nah zum Flughafen mit eigenem kostenfreien Shuttle. In die Stadt nach zB Granville 25min mit dem Uber. Kleiner Innenpool.

Der Küchenbereich war einfach schmutzig.

De ruime kamer en badkamer, de shuttle service en ook het direct aan het hotel verbonden restaurant 'Moxies' . Daarnaast is het gunstig gelegen tov het vliegveld en openbaar vervoer.

Onze zithoek in de kamer was erg donker. Ook overdag moest de verliichting aan in tegenstelling tot het deel waar het bed stond.

Great location to spend a night or two after a long flight. Comfortable bed, quiet location after 10.00pm. The restaurant, Moxies, is popular with the locals and provides typical sports bar type food. The quality of the food is good which is fortunate as there are very few nearby alternatives.

浴室の排水が悪かったが、海外あるあるでしょうかね。近くのスーパーは中国か台湾の食材が多くアルコールは売ってなかったです。

Gute Lage direkt am Airport. Man konnte kostenfrei parken. Für eine Nacht mehr als in Ordnung.

Wir hatten nach einem ruhigen Zimmer gefragt, aber doch ein Zimmer zur Straße hin bekommen. Für war es zuviel Verkehrslärm. Die Zimmer zum Parkplatz sind ruhiger.

Proximity to the airport and the shuttle bus is fabulous. The bed was comfortable, and the room and motel clean.

Need to have hooks in bathroom for towels, and a fan in the bathroom.

Great comfortable room. We took the shuttle to and from the airport. Train into the city just 10 minutes walk away which was great as we had no car. Food options around. Close to outlet mall so handy for shopping. Beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet - wouldn't know we were directly on the flight path.

The room was a little hot and the air con noisy but this wasn't really a major issue.

We’ve stayed here a few times now when we need to fly in and out of YVR, and it’s always a good stay. The staff are what make it — particularly kind and helpful every visit. A special mention to Nancy at the front desk. There was a huge group checking in ahead of my dad and me, and she got through them quickly and still had time to be lovely with us. She had us in our room right away. Thank you, Nancy!

Nancy at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful! I had accidentally booked the wrong room, and she was very understanding and flexible in helping me switch to the room I needed. She was so friendly and welcoming, and her wonderful service made me want to stay here again. The room was also very clean, and the location is super convenient and close to the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Geluid van verkeer was erg hinderlijk. Slecht geslapen. Airco. niet aangezet door hard gelkuid. Zeer kleine kamer. Prijs versus kwaliteit was niet in verhouding.

Prima locatie voor 1 overnachting om de dag erna de camper om te halen bij verhuurbedrijf! Ligt dichtbij het vliegveld. Fijn dat er een zwembad bij is.

Es ist ein Hotel am Flughafen, viel kommen und gehen, aber das weiß man vorher. Man muss aber dazu sagen, dass man die Flugzeuge nicht gehört hat. Ein Parkplatz war kostenlos dabei. Das Personal in der Lobby war freundlich und es war sehr sauber.

Location for what we needed is great

Really enjoyed my stay at the Sandman Hotel! The staff were amazing, friendly, and welcoming, and the room was extremely clean and comfortable. I had a great experience overall and will definitely be staying here again!

One thing worth mentioning is that the exterior is currently undergoing renovations, which the hotel was very upfront and professional about. Everything was handled extremely well, and the renovations did not interfere with our stay whatsoever. I was very impressed with how professionally it was managed.

We chose this hotel for our three nights in Vancouver. The city is easily accessible by bus and skytrain and significantly affordable than hotels in downtown. Beds are comfortable, room is spacious and there is a complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning.

Location was good.

Air conditioner was not working. No other rooms were available so promised a refund and a free taxi ride but no taxi and have not seen a refund yet. The room was very warm!

The facilities were old and run-down, rooms were not very clean.

The front desk staff were especially accommodating in getting us a room that met our uncertain needs for a pet and two extra people due to flight changes. I was especially impressed given the hotel was fully booked and they had been working a long shift. Wonderfully friendly and welcoming!

Considering the price paid….close to $500….this was disappointing. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport which we were using early the next morning plus their provision of a shuttle. In those respects the hotel came through. On the down side was the tired appearance of the room. It was small enough that we had to open a suitcase on the bed while another used the desktop. The toilet was low enough that I had to struggle to get up. There were no grab bars in the bathtub…..even seasonal hotels in Dawson City have those….and the restaurant did not open until 8 am!! We only incidentally noticed a coffee machine as we were checking out…..it was not pointed out but reception upon our arrival……and there were no eats/snacks available for early departures. I expected more.

Place did the job.

Room rates were triple normal amount due to the World Cup. We just needed a room by the airport for an overnight connection. A very expensive 8 hrs.

Best bed that I've slept in in ages! Super comfy. Moxies restaurant was a great addition with nice food and great drinks. I would stay here again if stopping overnight. The area itself doesn't have much to offer but the hotel is great.

I could here the planes coming into land in early hours.

David was very helpful and thorough. Westjet canceled many flights so there was a ton of people in the lobby waiting to be served. David remembered the order in which we came in and helped us in that order even though some people didnt agree. David nailed it! The room is clean and big and they even gave us an upgraded room! Thanks sandman!

The hotel/room were in great shape. Staff were also incredibly helpful. We chose the site because of its proximity to the airport (early flight the next day), and that worked great; the shuttle was very helpful. But the location (and us without a car) also meant we basically only had one option for dinner: a restaurant connected to the hotel (Moxie's). It was good, but I wish there had been choices within a walkable distance.

I stayed for one night to meet a business partner in Vancouver. Although check-in wasn't until 4:00 PM, thanks to CLARA, I was able to check in early and make the most of my brief stay. I will definitely stay here again.

Room is fine, but checking in was really poor (at least at the first attempt). The employee asked for a voucher, so I went back to the car. When I came back she didn't even look at it and for no reason told us to wait. In the meanwhile she kept checking in other Arrivals. Nothing happened with our reservation so after a couple of minutes I got back to another employee (very friendly) and checking in just took a few minutes. So obviously there was no problem with our reservation. Why making us wait for no reason?!?

Decisamente inferiore alle foto che si vedono. Siamo arrivati dopo un lungo viaggio ed il secondo letto non era pronto, o meglio, le lenzuola c’erano, ma chiuse all’interno del divano letto, tutte spiegazzate e sembravano anche poco pulite. Anche il resto della camera ed il bagno non erano molto puliti.

I don’t agree with the cancellation policy. The power went out, making us take stairs to/from the 5th floor at 30 weeks pregnant. Overpriced. Someone’s toenail clippings on the carpet by the couch, and SO much dust build up in the AC unit.

The airconditioner is a bit dated and not reaching desired cool temperature. The aircon is a bit loud. The lighting can be improved, a bit dark and no separate switch for the sink, coffe maker table that can disturb your partners sleep if you want to use the sink and prepare food or coffee.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our trip started off rough with our flight into Vancouver being delayed 5 hours. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that our room had been upgraded and on top of that we were given a $100.00 CAD gift card to be used at Moxies. We ate at Moxies that night and the food was amazing! Our hotel room was very clean and we had no complaints. Thank you to the friendly and wonderful staff! I highly recommend this hotel!

Bed and staff were wonderful. The Grid power outage was a huge challenge with no apparent prep on behalf of the hotel . They did finally send staff to help us get down the four flights of stairs and were most pleasant about it but we couldn't even reach the front desk by phone and no announcements to let everyone know what was going on....?fire outage ?????

Hotel very noisy with road & airport traffic. Needs a face lift on rooms. Furniture old & tired, bathroom sink stained with chipped porcelain. Shower very slippery. Promise of Welcome Basket never arrived & given incorrect information about Airport Shuttle times. Charged extra to check in at Noon even when rooms available. Given Handicap Room makes it difficult for bathroom use. This was not the reservation room booked.

The shuttle was easy to navigate and the driver informative and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff friendly. It was across the street from Tim Hortons which is why I booked it.

We had a bad experience at Moxies, the restaurant affiliated with the hotel. The staff were abrupt and rude. They offered to find us a seat then did not return and left us hanging. We were then told to go to another entrance and wait at the end of the line up. Not exactly what you need after a 14 hour flight.

For the price we paid which was more than $900 for the night - we did not get any hot water in the shower - it was luke warm & the air-con was so noisy that we had to turn it off to sleep. The room therefore during the night was very hot.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sandman Hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted in a very friendly and warm way by Clara, which immediately made us feel welcome. The hotel room was neat, clean, and pleasantly cool when we arrived. Everything felt well taken care of and comfortable. We had some concerns beforehand about the noise from the road, but it turned out to be much better than expected — we had no issues with it at all. Thank you Clara and the team for your hospitality and excellent service. We would definitely stay here again!
