Pas de chauffage, car le propriétaire de l’immeuble ne l’a pas activé d’après le staff de l’hôtel, donc seulement un petit chauffage d’appoint qui ne chauffait pas beaucoup donc nous avons eu froid et je suis malade à la fin du week-end

Gemütlich Man soll einige Tage vorher buchen, denn man muss Pässe scannen etc bevor man die Codes für die Tür bekommt, dann hat man aber 24h Option self Check in ( 1 Code unten und 1 Code für das Zimmer. ) s gibt einen Kaffeekocher. Wir haben sogar Kaffee von der freundlichen Frau bekommen die auf der 1. Etage vorm ihr Büro hat. Gute wifi Verbindung. Unkomplizierter Check out weil man nur nr hat und keinen Schlüssel.

Die Tür unten ist sehr einfach ,man glaubt erst, es wohnt niemand dort. Kein Aufzug.

Good Location and price with a great staff

Mattress made my back sore but that's no fault of the mattress

The price for one night was only $33USD. I stayed in a 4 bed (2 bunk bed) room on the 1st floor (which is the 2nd floor in America). I needed a place to stay for one night because I arrived in Toronto at 1900 and didn’t want to pay full price for a hotel room until later. This is the only reason I’d stay in a hostel. Not sure you’d even call it that as I’ve stayed in nicer hostels around Europe. Pros: the staff/receptionist were very nice and inviting. Quick and to the point, and even helped me with my heavy suitcase up the stairs. Bed wasn’t bad at all. I found it comfortable.

Cons: need better sign from the street. No elevator. First round of steep stairs to come up to the second level(1st floor of rooms). No community area. In room has small sink then a door in room with quaint toilet and shower area. Shower looks gross. Tile and shower curtain could be changed. I didn’t shower and will wait until I check into my hotel. No curtains on windows. Bright street lamp shined brightly all night. Bed has comforter, sheets, pillow with case but I stayed in my clothes and coat and slept fine. There’s a night club either next door, on the roof or in the basement so expect to hear snuffled beats and jams all night. (Went to bed at 2130 hearing music and woke at 0500 and the party was still going…at 0717, it was still kicking). Wouldn’t want to do this again but it’s fine honestly. What you’d expect for 30 quid I guess

1 small room and 6 dormitory, very small bathroom, even handwashing is inside room beside bed.

Great value for money and location. Owner is lovely and working hard to transform this property, she wanted my feedback which was great. Bed was very comfortable and I’d stay here again, no problem.

The lighting could improve so it’s better to work and a TV/Monitor to plug into with HDMI cable for a better work environment and watch tv too. The blind also doesn’t stay fully up or fully down but nothing major. It’s a hotel that’s being developed and it’s great for its price and the attitude of the owners makes it even more appealing.

1, Bed Bugs are everywhere, got bitten by them badly. 2, No any public area but with microwave and fridge in the room, so people have meals inside the very small room, making the room very smelly with the poor ventilation system, making the bed bugs situation even worse.

There are bed bugs everywhere — they’re really nasty. The bites swelled up into big red, itchy, and painful patches. The room has poor ventilation and feels extremely stuffy. Even in November, it’s so hot at night that I woke up sweating. There’s a microwave and a fridge, but both are inside the tiny room. The smell of food lingers and never goes away, making it even hotter and more suffocating — and the bed bugs got worse. 全是虱子..非常毒，被咬的地方肿起来非常大一片，又红又痒又痛。 房间通风不好，而且非常闷热，11月晚上睡觉会被热醒； 微波炉和冰箱有，但是在很小的房间内，用餐的气味根本散不去，又闷又热，虱子更多了..

C’était bien situé et bien équipé

La douche est très petite, sa propreté laisse à désiré, le rideau de douche n’était pas neuf, le drain n’était pas fixé au sol. La fenêtre était très difficile à fermer et le rideau ne restait pas fermé.

I found a lot of red ants in my bedroom from the first day and I couldn’t control the room thermometer.

Nothing at all.

The hotel looks creepy and poorly managed. The stairs is so steep and so I couldn't even climb it. I had to look for another apartment to lodge in. If you cannot invest in a mordern hotel facility, please shut the place down and stop deceiving prospective guests.

The employees are uncooperative.

The staff is always nice and location is very convenient. This was my second stay and even though it has its flaws, I’d come back next time I need a room for a good price!

The bed was uncomfortable and I could feel the springs which made me sore the next day. Although the location is great, it is a busy street with a possibility of very loud people outside. I got woken up at 4am buy a someone screaming for several minutes outside, it is out of their control but something to keep in mind.

Location was great. Handy fridge and microwave.

Shower had mould on the ceiling and on the shower curtain. Tiles were missing on the shower floor. Desperate renovation required No privacy curtains on the bunk beds and charging ports was a series of power bars randomly placed. No even close to what you find in European hostels.

Clean, purposeful layout of hostel. Individual rooms of 2 bunkbeds have washroom. Door entrance and room Passcodes appreciated.

1) Both nights stayed discovered new arrivals after hours no access even though individually stated they followed protocols to arrive after hours. In both times, after much stress anxiety travel and trying all contact options same outcome they were not able to stay that night. Suggestion: on hostel entrance signage stating after hours NO service guests must be registered online or at desk during office hours only no after hour correspondence available next day! Strongly suggest online service to operate after hours so late arrivals can be registered and accessed; 2) unaware of longterm guests this has a latent friction mentality with usual short term guests taking more space for larger luggage, washroom etc .. suggest separate long and short term guests.

Really nice and kind staff. Having girl room was great too. Close to everywhere. And having double door with keypad made me feel safe in downtown. Price was good

Odeur d'urine dans la douche. Les WC sont dans la douche. Pas de séparation entre la salle de bain et la chambre, donc dès que la lumière est allumée, ça éclaire toute la chambre. On entend tout ce qui se passe dehors. Et le non-respect des personnes dans la chambre qui parlent comme si elles étaient seules et nous réveillent...

It was affordable and comfortable. It was close to restaurants. Staff were courteous and helpful. I would stay there again.

There was no view and stairs were steep. If you had mobility issues it may be a problem.

I stayed there for 3 nights. Very clean, comfortable beds. There is Lablaws store 10 minutes walk. Walking distance to subway, about 25 minutes walk. The room has a tea pot and microwave. So you can save money for food expenses too. The staff is awesome and very polite. Close to lots of attactions. Tim Hortons is 3 minutes walk, Shoppers Drug mart and McDonald’s is 10 minutes walk. Very good location. Lots of restaurants and good fast food cafes near buy. Free night life music near couple of cafes where you can just sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Recommend to stay.

La peor experiencia. Sucio, el colchón y las almohadas daban pena, entraba ruido por la ventana porque no cerraba del todo, y cucarachas.

Cute clean. Value for cost. Restaurants and bars. Walking distance to Budweiser stage. Staff was exceptionally helpful. I'd stay again in a heartbeat...if u want clean safe and economical then you'll be happy here.

The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to reach nearby attractions and restaurants. The rooms were clean. The price is very reasonable for the area, which makes it a good budget-friendly option. For a short stay, it’s a decent choice if you just need a simple, functional place to rest.

The rooms are quite small and feel a bit cramped. Some of the furniture and décor are outdated, which makes the space feel less inviting. The bathrooms could use a refresh, and water pressure in the showers was inconsistent. The Wi-Fi didn’t work on the 2nd floor during the two days I stayed, which was frustrating. The beds are metallic bunk beds, so if someone moves on the top or bottom, the whole bed jitters — definitely not recommended for light sleepers. Also, if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage, don’t stay here — there’s no lift, so getting up to the 2nd floor is a real challenge. Overall, it’s fine for a budget stay, but don’t expect luxury, convenience, or smooth connectivity.

There was no kitchen in the property, and the sink was situated outside of the bathroom. The room itself was barely big enough for 2 double bunk beds and everyone's luggage, so my bag needed to fit in the little alcove where shoes and jackets were kept. One of my room mates was smoking in the bathroom. I alerted the host and a member of staff came and told the person this wasn't allowed, but I'm not sure they wouldn't just continue once I had left.

There is no kitchen, no common area, not a single chair to sit, not a table to ro read a book inside. Only one bed you have. Bathrooms are so tiny. And there is this smell in the room. And another thing, i think this is important, after i go in the bed, someone keep turning air conditional lower degrees, I became very sick because of my toronto staying, then i walk to the manager's office ask help from them (if they have an extra blanket) because we only have a sheet to cover, they said they have no extra blanket and suggest me to open conditionet higher. i did, but when i woke up, again someone already turn it down to lower. waking up in a fozer.

La ubicación es muy buena es walking distance del dowtown de Toronto. Hay muchos restaurantes en los alrededores y la llegada desde el aeropuerto es muy fácil

I expected some discomfort because of its price, but it was so uncomfortable to stay night. Fan of air-conditioning is so loud; I couldn't sleep very well. Air quality is so bad because there is no ventilation. Location of this Dorm is also not great. Only good thing is that it is in the downtown area.

Don’t expect much. This isn’t a luxury hotel. Also paid parking is required constantly in the area.
