We checked into our room and the beds were not made and the room looked dirty as if they forgot to finish cleaning it. After I went to the front desk the staff kindly changed rooms immediately. The second room had a cockroach that was roaming around.

One day of our stay breakfast staff Was really slow and there wasn’t enough breakfast the whole morning.

Room was in rough shape. Clean on the surface but could have been far better. The bathroom was really showing its age and was sub par for a Holiday Inn Express chain. Air conditioning worked but, the smell of mold and mildew was pretty bad.

The building and rooms look recently updated but with poor quality finishes and with aging infrastructure. Rooms weren’t super clean. Carpet was soaked with water leaking from the A/C unit leaving my feet wet every time I walked to my side of the bed. Smeared melted chocolate on the carpet when we checked in. Bedding had stains on them and toiletries weren’t refilled in the bathroom. Elevators felt like they were going to break every time you rode them. For how expensive these rooms were $160 a night…I’d expect the location to be in better shape. Wouldn’t stay at this location again.

Tv didn't work and nobody bothered to try and fix it while we were there for 2 days. Plugs by bed were shoved into wall or worn out nothing would charge from them. Someone tried to enter our room at 5 in the morning and woke us up because they rented it to someone else after we were checked in then called and woke us up after that to verify we were in the room.

This is a POS! Do NOT stay here. They are completely incompetent. We are diamond members with IHG and request top floor. The last 2 times we’ve stayed at an IHG hotel, we had bottom floor. We say something and nothing changes. I guess we’re moving to Hilton. When you spend 100 nights- at minimum- in one of these hotels, you’d think that would give you priority status.

Tried for a week to speak to manager prior to my arrival. Left messages for the hotel on booking.com and never received a response. Check in was terrible for our team. Hotel worked with me to cancel 1 of my reserved rooms but has not communicated to booking.com that they approved the cancellation so that I can get a refund from booking.com.

Everything wa good. The first night someone was knocking outside the door for 15 minutes I called the front desk and right away the employee responded and told the person to go away. I appreciated the fast response.

5 minute ride to Texas live

Checked my friends into a room and had us wait two hours for our room. Kept saying it wasn’t ready. Finally checked in at 3:00 pm.

The room was sufficient and the beds were comfortable for our overnight stay. I did like the lighted mirror in the bathroom.

Breakfast could have been better. The pancake machine wasn’t working. Housekeeping should to do a thorough check when cleaning. Used Kleenex and crumbs were under the cushion in a chair.

Stayed here for three nights. Was initially a little worried based on some of the reviews but this place was great! Clean room and friendly staff; standard breakfast fare. One of the best parts is the location. This central to most things in the DFW area and within walking distance (2 miles) of Texas Live. Staff was friendly and helpful, and accommodated my request for a high floor, clean, quiet room. There are some places behind the hotel that looked a little sketchy, but overall a good choice if you’re wanting to stay in the central DFW area on a budget.

Great variety for breakfast! Everyone was able to get what they wanted and more. The breakfast attendant was super kind and helpful.

It had just snowed so the outdoor pool was closed.

The manager was very rude to us each time we expressed our needs she said no to every single one of them. The room was not equipped with an ironing board and when we tried to communicate with the staff they couldn’t understand us. The manager wouldn’t change the room we had and we expressed lots of issues instead she walked away from me and said she didn’t have time to talk to me. I felt she racially profiled me and my guest because I watched her treat other guests differently. I still haven’t received my deposit and it has been over a month

Room is dated but clean. We there for a Rangers game and the location was perfect. Staff was friendly and informative.

The breakfast wasn’t as expected. Very watery eggs. I have stayed at several HIE locations, and the breakfast was a lot left to be desired. The coffee station only had one container of coffee, no choice of decaf or caffeinated. No variation a coffee creamers in the large pumps available, and only two choices of creamer…vanilla and plain. Very disappointed in this as my coffee is one of the most important start to my day.

The location was great.

Right when I entered the building, it was very humid and hot. The beds were hard. The outlets didn’t work, I picked up the phone to call the lobby to advise them and the phone didn’t work ! So we had to inconveniently walk downstairs to inform them while also having to grab towels. My kids were really excited to go swimming, after visiting the pool, it was sooo tiny not enough room to do anything and a min of people. The water was very cloudy that nobody from the hotel I seen swimming. I was very displeased considering I’ve been to plenty of yalls locations. My kids were looking forward to swimming the whole time and as a mother I decided it wasn’t hygenic enough for them.

I can’t say much about the hotel itself, but the night person was horrible. We went to a late football game, when the uber dropped us off it turned out that it was the wrong holiday inn, which we didn’t realize until we were inside and the setup was different. We immediately tried getting another uber, but it was going to be a bit as it was so late. We sat in the lobby waiting and the night guy said he was calling the cops on us. We weren’t being rude or rowdy, but he said we had to go or we’d be arrested. Temp was in the 30s so we asked if we could wait for the uber inside. He again said we’d be arrested if we didn’t leave. Fortunately the uber arrived shortly after. I will never go back. The other holiday inn in Haltom City was great with very nice people.
